Hey, everyone. Mondays with the mayor. This is December 15th. Hopefully you have an
amazing weekend. I know early on we were talking about, I would highlight it the Cardinals
won and we bring out the Cardinal toadent pole and talk about it. I'm really content folks
that we will not be talking about a Cardinal win for the rest of the season. So better luck
next time. With that being said, we're moving on, guys here. We are going to talk about random things
this Wednesday from 3 to 5. Or I'm sorry, this Wednesday from 10 to 1045 for ages 3 to 5 is
preschool story time over at the library. So if you've got a little one and you're out and about,
swing on vibe is a great opportunity to interact with other little kids, and here's some great
stories. They love it. So again, that's this Wednesday from 10 to 10.45 at our library. Also on
our library tomorrow, the 16th is financial literacy for tweens. So ages 9 to 12, give them a basic
foundation class on financial literacy, and that's from 5 to 6 at the library as well. So
Good opportunity to just bring awareness for our children.
So I hope to speed you out there for that.
What else we got going on online?
If you're interested, the budget survey is still open.
So go to the town of Fresco Valley's website.
Click on it, scroll down, click on the survey.
It takes about five minutes.
And I'd love to hear what you have to say.
Thoughts and ideas on the future for our upcoming budget season.
So again, check that out on our website.
What are we out here?
Coffee with a cop.
This Wednesday from 1 to 2.30,
over at Villages at Link's Creek.
So the address for that, if you're not familiar, is 12-200 East State Route 69 and Dewey.
So basically, Highway 69 as you're heading out of town, can't miss it.
Again, coffee with a cop tomorrow or Wednesday, 1 to 2.30.
Finishing things up, folks.
Crosswalk is being finished from AAC or of Horsesie High School across the street from Town Hall.
So there's a crosswalk now going from that school to the Civic Center,
hall library side. So great opportunity. So if you saw a bunch of work happening, that is what
was going on. And finally, I like to say happy Hanukkah to day marks the first day of the
Jewish holidays. So happy holiday, everyone. And then moving forward with our dad show,
what's the weatherman's favorite food in winter? Burritos. Get it? Guys, I don't write. I just
read them. I'm right. Weep.
Thank you.
