Hey, everyone, it is December 29th, and hopefully, this is our last, I don't know, hopefully, it's basically our last Monday's with the mayor this year. So hopefully you had an amazing holiday Christmas and we're going to kick off the new year with a bang. So with that being said, for those of you with, oh, by the way, who do we have here? Emma is here. Kicking things off. If you have any live Christmas trees, you're able to dump them over in a large dumpster at Mountain Valley Park near the dog park parking lot. So you can't miss it. Just throw your tree into it. And as a reminder, only live Christmas trees. Make sure you have all your ornaments and Christmas tree lights off of it. So that will be available from now until January 5th. So head on over Mount Valley Park. Can't miss it.

Throw your tree in there. What do we have this Wednesday for those kids and toddlers and tweens who can't make it to midnight? They are having a noon-year eve event over at the library. Wednesday, December 31st, 11 a.m. It's a fun little kickoff. It goes for an hour. They count down the new year at noon. It's a good little event to head on over to.

So again, this Wednesday at 11 a.m. over at the library. And of course, offices are closed. Town Hall, library, police records this Thursday. So for New Year's. So knowing that, we really don't have very much more. I'm going to get a haircut this week. So we'll be losing the hat.
