Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, everyone. Good morning. It's February 10th, and this is Mondays with the mayor. Hope you had an amazing weekend, and maybe some of you've enjoyed the Super Bowl. Hopefully not too much, and you're at work today. So let's just jump right into it. Next Monday, President's Day, Monday, February 17th, town hall will be closed, library closed, and the lobby to the police department is going to be closed. So just keep that in mind. And then also happening next Monday, there will be road work on viewpoint drive from Longlook to spouse,
Starting point is 00:00:27 and basically we're going to have some lane closures, expect some delays, just avoid the area if you can. Again, that starts next Monday. Long look to spouse. There's just basically utility work being to that over there. What do we got? March 11th, if you're interested in stormwater, there's a public meeting. It's a stakeholder meeting in the police department training room from 530 to 630. Basically, you're going to get a brief presentation on the current stormwater initiatives. You're able to provide feedback, share your thoughts on the stormwater management plan and then you can ask about any you know stormwater mitigation issues going on in your neighborhood so again march 11th 530 to 6 30 what we got going on if you're one of those people who like to come in the town hall and pay your water bill find out more about customer accounts we've changed locations so instead of right where you're used to going it's
Starting point is 00:01:20 all the way to the right so that's just temporary while they redo that portion of the building so that starts this Friday at noon. So just be aware of that. What else we've got going on? First floor of the library is still under construction. We're still providing services up on the second floor. So keep that in mind and just be a little patient to redoing the entire floor trying to make just a better situation over there. So again, first floor of library is still under construction. If you guys saw a study session last week, or if you're curious and you want to know more about fire hydrant, in the town of Prescott Valley, mainly the core of Prescott Valley, tune into last week's study session or this week's town council, we will be voting on it. And just an FYI in the past four years,
Starting point is 00:02:06 we've added 40 additional fire hydrants throughout the core of Prescott Valley. This year, coming up at council, we will be approving or voting on approval of 12 more fire hydrants. So check that out. There's also a map online as well, and where those fire hydrants are going to be. What else we got going on this Thursday at council? We will be voting on a liquor license for quick trip. So that's always interesting. People are always asking about that. And if you remember,
Starting point is 00:02:33 the southeast corner of Navajo and Highway 69 is where they are approved to build. We'll also be approving a contract for Lake Valley Road Improvement. So from quarantine to Highway 69, that road will be completely redone, folks. So if anyone's driven on it, you would know why. So good news for that. And then also we will be forming a citizen recreation facility advisory committee.
Starting point is 00:02:58 So tune in on Thursday if you want to learn more about that. Basically a group of citizens get together and we're going to talk about different avenues of funding and supporting recreational facilities in the town of Fresco Valley. So good news there too as well. With that being said, joke of the day. If you recall we were in the library last week, so this is a library theme joke. Why isn't there a clock in the library? Because it talks too much. Talks.
Starting point is 00:03:26 All right, folks. Have a great week. See after.
