Hey, everyone, February 24th, and it is Mondays with the mayor.
Hopefully you had an amazing weekend, and you're ready for this week.
So let's just dive right into what we got.
Tonight, 530, we talked about it a little bit before.
Share your thoughts on PV housing over at the police department training room.
Like I said, tonight at 530.
Join us for a community conversation about affordable housing in Prescott Valley.
Free event, open to anyone.
No need to RSVP just show up.
And if you can't make it tonight, that's okay.
There's an online survey that's open until March 31st.
So just go over to our website.
We'll scan our QR code and take the survey.
So I'd love to hear from you.
Again, your thoughts on Prescott Valley Housing tonight, 530.
Stormwater stakeholder meeting.
This is in March.
We'll talk again about it next week, but 530 and 630.
Also in the police department training room.
And if you show up, you'll be able to hear a brief presentation on current stormwater
initiatives, provide feedback, and share your thoughts on stormwater management plan.
Again, check it out.
Go to our website,
www.
Prescott Valley, hashtag,
oh, I'm sorry, dash a z.gov.
So check that out.
Get some more information on that.
What else we got?
Last week, we rolled out the bulk trash disposal voucher program.
Please go over to our website.
You'll be able to click on a link.
It'll give you all the details on how the voucher program is going to work,
whether you can come in and pick it up,
whether you need it mailed to you,
the dates that it's available and how the whole program works.
So please check that out on our website.
It's going to run between March 1st and June 15th.
It's a much more flexible schedule, so it'll hopefully work for more residents.
So great change to what we normally do.
Also, what we got going on as of 8 o'clock this morning, new website, check it out.
Easier to navigate, you can change the font size, different search options,
and it's a lot more user-friendly.
So please head on over to that website.
mentioned earlier. Check it out. If there's any thoughts, any questions, any things that you think
we can improve, let us know. I'd love to hear from you. What else we got going on this week coming
up? Check out town council. We'll be presenting a safety action plan, which is basically we had
a company come in and evaluate all intersections, and it gave us a basically a blueprint on how to
improve safety for pedestrians and cars and bicyclists throughout Prescott Valley. So it's really
interesting. It's already on the website in the, basically in the agenda, you can click on it and
you can scroll through the PowerPoint, but then also you can attend that 530 and seat life.
And then also another interesting thing is we'll be voting to rename North Stone Ridge Drive,
which is from Highway 69, North Pass Culvers. We'll be renaming it to Jasper Parkway in
anticipation of the opening of Jasper Parkway, which as I mentioned last week, we are so close,
folks. So please have some patience. Hopefully we get it done in the next few weeks.
And with Atkin said, folks, we're done for the week, and it's time for a dad joke.
Oh, actually, real quick, shout out, Bat Frog.
They're not in Prescott.
They're not in Prescott.
They're actually at the old Augies on the reservation in between Prescott and Prescott Valley.
And I give them a shout out because it's a new business that came into our area and is being supported by Prescott Valley residents, Prescott residents.
And if we can work together, we can get establishments like Bat Frog out here in Prescott Valley.
So, again, shout out to you guys.
Was there last week.
Great job.
All right, here's our dad joke, not a bad joke.
Who is a dessert's favorite actor?
Robert Brownie Jr.
All right, guys.
Hey, have a great week.
See you on.
