Hey everyone, February 3rd, and this is Monday's with the mayor.
Obviously not in the office. At this exact moment, we are at the Prescott Valley Library in the tween section on the second floor. So pretty awesome. And of course, the twins are here.
What do we have going on? February 8th, we have car seat check over here at Park Collective, right there by Sonic. Police Department will be there at Fire Department. It's just a good opportunity to get your car seat checked, make sure it's installed correctly in case there's an accident. So again, this,
February 8th from 8 until 11. So check that out. What do we got? As I mentioned, we are at the
tween scene here at the second floor of the library. It's a great spot, right? Like if you come here,
you've got little kids, you can come on over. There's books for basically all ages. We just happen
to be in a section. Books are geared towards 9-year-old to probably about the 12-year-old range.
So check it out if you haven't had an opportunity. Second floor, great opportunity for the kids.
What do we got going on? I also have a play it forward.
scholarship program. I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but if you're interested, you can contact
the friends of Prescott Valley Recreation, Parks and Recreation. And this way, just donate and the money
goes to help out individuals or students or kids that may not be eligible or might not have
the means to participate in other events at the town. So great opportunity. And then another thing we
have adopt a PV park. We have, for those of you that didn't know, 26 parks, and we have
16 multi-use paths. So if you, an individual, a group, an organization, which to participate,
you can kind of get out there. You kind of just basically adopt it, literally what it sounds like,
and just kind of pick up trash, make sure everything's appropriate over there. And it's just good.
So if you're interested in that, contact parks and rec and find out more about what parks need
adopting or what trails need adopting. What else we have going on this Thursday at study session?
If you're ever curious as to why certain areas of Presby Valley have fire hydrants and others don't, this is a great opportunity to learn more about that.
We're going to get a presentation from Neil Wadsworth on basically the status and the structure of how our water system is set up for fire hydrants.
So great opportunity to learn a little bit more.
And with that being said, dad joke, what do we got, twins?
What do girls put in their hair?
Conditioner and shampoo.
That's it, folks.
That's what you got.
All right.
We'll see you next time.
Thank you.
