Hey everyone, February 9th, Monday's with Mayor.
Hope you had an amazing weekend.
Hopefully if you're a football fan, you were happy with the outcome of the Super Bowl.
If not, there's always next year.
With that being said, let's just dive right into what we got going on.
Parking lot here at the Civic Center for the next couple days is going to be limited in parking spaces due to concrete being laid down for the Freedom Rock.
So just be aware of that.
We don't really have much going on this week, so just be prepared.
Friday, 1245,
Traveling Museum
is coming through town
along with a replica of the Liberty Belt.
It's on its way into Prescott.
It'll be set up on Saturday and Sunday
for people to kind of go check out
in front of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.
So if you're interested in that,
they are encouraging people.
If they want to cheer it on,
go to the highway, like I said, around 1245,
and cheer on this event.
So didn't know it was a thing,
but apparently it's a thing, folks.
1245 this Friday.
ALDI, Breaking Ground, which is great news.
And from what we heard, they are hiring.
And also, they're expected to expedite the construction.
So hopefully things move along quickly on that.
But in the meantime, if you're interested in a job, go over there.
Phone number is on a big banner.
And I also have a post on my Facebook page as well for Aldi.
So good news.
Fiber, currently happening.
Different companies are installing fiber throughout the town.
If you want an updates on where they'll be or the progress of what's going on,
you can go to Prescott Valley hyphenaz.gov forward slash fiber.
And you can click on that and then kind of see what's happening.
And it's going to be affecting your neighborhood or things like that.
So good news.
High-speed internet has definitely come into town and heard from a lot of residents who are very, very happy with it.
And finally, teen horses and hearts.
Tomorrow, three o'clock in the teen area, which is on the first floor,
you can spend a heartwarming afternoon with horses with heart.
and kind of just go hang out with these little miniature horses that they're going to have at the library.
So bring the kids, or if you want to hang out with them too, you can come on over.
February 10th, which is tomorrow, 3 o'clock, first floor of the library.
So like I said, not much to talk about this week, guys.
We're going to finish with a dad joke.
Not a bad joke.
Who always has a date for Valentine's Day?
A calendar.
Don't forget, guys, Saturday, Valentine's Day.
I almost forgot if it wasn't for that.
So have a great day.
