Hey everyone, July 14th, and this is Mondays with the mayor. We'll be on an amazing weekend, and let's see what we got going on. Keep in mind, July is kind of a slow month, so we don't have much to cover, but this is, we'll start off with, shout out to Rocks Media, Prescott Living. They were able to put me in for Men at Vision. They're a great community partner, tons of information about the town of Prescott Valley and Prescott, and they were able to provide us with a bunch of different swag items. So thanks to Rocks Media. kicking it off this Wednesday is magician Eric Gilliam over here at Theodore on the Green. It's for ages roughly 8 to 12 and it will go from 1 to 2 p.m. So it's for the summer reading program out here at the theater on the green and it is magician Eric Gillum or Gilliam. So hope to see you out there. Make sure you wear some sunscreen or maybe some shade if you want to. So it'll be fun. I promise.

July 22nd, coming up is. our canine demo this is a free demo over at the finley Toyota Center starts at 6 p.m. we'll have canine teams throughout the state they'll be over there head on over it's great time meet meet the handlers and talk to our press ballot police hotsters again July 22nd 2025 as a reminder folks it is getting very warm out there so try not to leave pets don't try not to just don't do it okay no pets and no kids in the vehicles even if you're running into the store for a very short period of time just make the extra effort because the last thing we want to see is something happened to our loved ones.

So keep that in mind. Another thing that's kind of crazy, first day of school is in two weeks, July 31st, actually two and a half weeks. So we'll talk more about that. We'll have more information in reference that as we get a little bit closer. What else we got going on? Oh, finishing it up. Folks, this is the treasure hunt. This is what people have been looking for.

I'm going to have some winners. If you were curious where the treasure was, it was open. at Limitless, which is a sculpture outside town hall, as well as we had a treasure over at Bob Edwards Park. So what I did was I put all those that found it into a wheel. We're going to spin the wheel. Whoever lands on it is going to get a sponsor, which is Meat Tierra's Mexican restaurant, $50 gift certificate. So here we go. Christy Lynn Engel is our winner.
