Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, everyone. Welcome to Mondays with the mayor. It is March 3rd. Hope you had an amazing week and you're ready for this week. And if you didn't know, this week is read across America. So I spent the morning reading to some kids, Dr. Seuss books. So you're out and about. I want to read to your kids. There's a good reason to. All right. Diving right into it. What do we got? Car seat check. March 8th from 8 to 11 over in Nicole's parking lot. Again, it's free. Head on over there. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes per car check to be checked. great opportunity to make sure that little people are safe. So this Saturday, 8 to 11, Coles Parking Lot, Fun Classroom. I know we talked about this before, but it is official March 1st of June 15th
Starting point is 00:00:44 is our bulk trash disposal voucher program startup. So if you need to figure out or you have any questions on how to get your voucher, please just go to our town website and there's a button. You can just click on it, gives you all the information. You can either download it, have it sent to you. your house, come in and pick one up. All your questions will be answered. Just go to the website. Again, that's March 1st to June 15th. The voucher allows you to just basically pick a window of a couple weeks on when you think you're going to be able to unload your stuff and take it to
Starting point is 00:01:13 the dump. So it's very, very flexible as opposed to our previous years where it's just one day, one time you had to go to the dump. So again, March 1st to June 15th, great time to the spring cleaning done. Starting today, lone cactus between spouse and lobo is going to have some roadwork done. So it's going to be open to citizens that live over there. But if you can avoid driving over there, if you don't have to, please do.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Again, that starts this week from on loan cactus between spouse and lobo. What else we got? March 11th next week, 530 to 6.30 is our stormwater stakeholder meeting. I think we've talked about this before, but if you're interested in learning more about what our stormwater initiatives are, please show up. That's March 11th, 530 to 630 over at the police training building. What else? This week, Bradley Gilbert, Friday night over at the event center, which is awesome if you're into country music. And also Jeff Dunham.
