Hey everyone, welcome to Mondays with the mayor. It's May 19th. I first want to warn you if you hear some strange sounds in the background. We're kind of currently under construction here in the mayor's office. So just bear with us on that. With that being said, today, folks, between nine and two in the crystal room at the library is a blood drive. So if you're interested in giving blood, if you're something you normally do or is your first time, head on over nine to two at the library, third floor crystal room.
Also, folks, we have our Prescott Valley Town Council applications that closes tomorrow.
4 p.m. If you're interested in being considered for town council, it will have to be turned into the clerk's office by 4 p.m. tomorrow.
Also, folks, I just want to thank everyone that came out to the wildlife pop-up community event that we had at Franco Park over in Granville.
Huge success. It's so exciting to know that Presby Valley is recognizing the importance of our wildlife and establishing a wildlife corridor and a plan for the future.
And that will extend for generations, folks.
So this is really exciting times for what we have happening with the town of Prescott Valley.
So again, thanks for everyone that came out.
And we're able to fill out the surveys and ask questions and get answers to what the future looks like for our wildlife corridor.
As a reminder, next Monday, May 26th is Memorial Day.
So we will be closed town office library, police lobby.
So keep that in mind.
And I know it's not too soon to talk about it, but July 4th, Friday, July 4th is red, white, and boom.
And as always, it's a free event, fireworks, concert, bounce houses, food trucks.
Lots of fun stuff.
It goes from 3 until 9 o'clock.
And that's July 4th, Friday, July 4th.
So we'll talk more about it in an upcoming week.
And that's pretty much it, folks.
So I hope you have an amazing week.
Again, here's our dad joke, not a bad joke.
What animal is always out of baseball?
A bat.
Alright, hey guys, have a great week.
