July is National Park and Recreation Month, a nationwide celebration recognizing the impact parks and recreation have on building healthier, stronger, and more connected communities.
This year's theme, The Power of, highlights the Incredible Ways Parks, Programs, Facilities, and Recreation Professionals create opportunities for connection, wellness, and belonging every day.
Throughout the month, the community will celebrate.

The power of community, public spaces offer room for everyone to gather and celebrate.

resilience, and shared community benefits. To celebrate, Queen Creek Parks and Recreation will
offer a variety of activities and experiences throughout July. Featured events include water balloon
day for ages 9 to 12, a back-to-school bash, and Wibbitt Wednesdays featuring the inflatable
Wibbid Action Tower. Keens can also enjoy Reck Fest during late night at the rec, complete with a pop-up
DJ, music, food, drinks, and opportunities to connect with friends. Additional programs will be offered
throughout the month at the Queen Creek Recreation and Aquatic Center. The celebration will also
include pop-up events at town parks with games, activities, and popsicles. Residents and non-residents
can also participate in Burger Lab, a hands-on cooking experience, registration is required. View the full

activities are included with a Queen Creek Recreation and Aquatic Center membership or day pass.
Membership options are available for individuals, families, seniors, youth, active military members,
and veterans. To view membership rates, visit the town's membership's webpage. Non-residents may
purchase a day pass when accompanied by a town of Queen Creek resident with an active membership
or day pass. Each resident may bring up to two non-resident guests. Learn more about parks and
