GCRF co-leads Katie Ramos and Summer Logan report that there were 2300 tickets sold, 165 college contestants competing, and roughly 75 volunteers from all Prescott Frontier Days® (PFD) departments who helped out at the inaugural event. It's a crucial component in the student athletes' pathway to professional rodeo events. Seven colleges from New Mexico and Arizona participated in the events, with athletes from New Mexico

Additional competing Arizona colleges included Central Us College, Cochese College, and Dine College. Other New Mexico colleges were Navajo Technical College and Mesa Land's Community College.
