For 2025, the Foundation selected Sarah Phippen, renowned for her contemporary realism depicting western life, as the artist to celebrate the theme “Women in Rodeo.” On Saturday, July 5th, the Foundation will host an Artist’s Reception and Auction at the Sharlot Hall Museum, 415 West Gurley Street in Prescott from 4:00 to 6:00 pm to showcase the unveiling and auction the original painting. The Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Foundation has continued the popular annual tradition of commissioning an artist to illustrate the theme of the world's oldest rodeo. For 2025, the foundation selected Sarah Fippon, renowned for her contemporary realism depicting Western life, as the artist to celebrate the theme women in rodeo. On Saturday, July 5, the Foundation will host an artist's reception and auction at the Charlotte Hall Museum, 415 West Girlie Street and Prescott from 4 o'clock to 6 p.m. to showcase the unveiling and auction the original painting. Sarah Fippin and Nancy Shepard, the Arizona trick rider who inspired the painting, will both attend the event. Rodeo fans, Western art enthusiasts, and the bidding public are invited to attend, with space limited to the first 90 respondents, those 90 will receive bidding paddles.

Educates the public on Western Heritage and Rodeo history. Curates the Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Hall of Fame and Museum. Provides scholarships for Yavapai College students in agriculture, equine, and livestock management. Assist local individuals and families facing catastrophic illness or hardship.
