Prescott Frontier Days needs you. As a rodeo volunteer, you are a world's oldest rodeo ambassador to folks from around the country and around the world.
This year's rodeo, the 139th, will be held from June 29th through July 5th with the theme celebrating 250 years of freedom.
Help is needed in the following areas, arena, animal health, cowboy country grounds, parking, security hospitality,
must be over 21. Beverage distribution, hospitality prep or serve, sponsor lounge sales,
program sales, tickets takers, ushers slash seating one-day events, old-timers get together,
exceptional champs rodeo off-site events, rodeo dance, rodeo parade. Descriptions for each task are
found here, and the volunteer form is online through the link here. If you have any questions about
an area, please ask. And if volunteering is something you would like to do and can only do a few
days, that is great too. The PFD has volunteer training in late June to ensure volunteers feel
comfortable and knowledgeable with the tasks they are given. Plus, by working the rodeo nightly,
and two matinees, you get to watch the action while helping out. PFD appreciates all their
volunteers do when they hold a thank you dinner after the rodeo is over for all of volunteers' hard
work. The spectacular world's oldest rodeo doesn't happen without volunteers like you,
you are the backbone that makes our rodeo run. For more information on volunteering,
Please contact the Rodeo Office at FDivolenteers at World Soldestrodeo.com or contact the Rodeo office at 928-445-3103.
