While always charming, over the 4th of July weekend our Prescott community enhances that vibe,
heightened by the world's oldest rodeo bringing the action, drama, and thrills found nowhere else.
During rodeo week, the city's well-known hospitality is on display as it transforms into an open house
for guests from around the world as well as those from the U.S. this year Prescott Frontier Days
welcomed people from 17 countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany,
Great Britain, Indonesia, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Spain, Slovenia, Switzerland,
and the United Arab Emirates as well as from 46 states. Our world's oldest rodeo consistently ranks
among the professional rodeo-coye Cowboys Associations, PRCA, top large outdoor rodeos each year,
and PFD War No 138 was no exception. We sold a record number of tickets, and all eight performances
were sold out. General Manager Jim Dewey Brown continues to exceed all
expectations, increasing attendance and payouts to contestants, securing top rodeo talent, and
providing a pipeline of high school and college age rodeo athletes to keep the rodeo spirit alive and
well. In 2025, 37,850-ticketed fans attended PFD War No. 137,606 dollars was the total payout
to contestants, and 901 professional Cowboys and Cowgirls competed. Our rodeo was broadcasted
via the PRCA on the Cowboy Channel, giving access to fans throughout the country.
Operated by a small, devoted staff, Prescott Frontier Days,
world's oldest rodeo is a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven organization.
With the addition of funds received from events held at the rodeo grounds throughout the year,
the city of Prescott realizes over $35 million in local economic impact.

PFD is thankful for the ongoing support of the Prescott community.
You serve as ambassadors, rodeo advocates, and hosts, welcoming guests and treating them to unforgettable
rodeo experiences.
Thank you, Prescott.
