Registration is now open. This is a contracted curbside collection event, and pre-registration is required. The program provides eligible residents with a safe and convenient way to dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste. Commercial accounts and communities that utilize dumpsters are not eligible to participate. All items must be placed in a box clearly labeled HHW and set 6 to 10 feet from the curb in front of the residence. Materials should be visible and accessible for the contractor on the scheduled collection day. Residents unsure whether an item is considered hazardous are encouraged to use the city's recycle wizard at www.prescottrecycles.com for guidance on proper disposal.
