Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the residence. The fire was quickly extinguished and is currently under investigation. Working smoke alarms alerted the occupant, enabling safe self-evacuation and a timely call to 9-1-1. Early notification confined the fire to contents and prevented further spread. No injuries were reported.
