Starting point is 00:00:37 The Town of Prescott Valley is accepting applications from town residents to serve on the Parks, Arts, and Recreation Commission. The Parks, Arts, and Recreation Commission recommends regulations and policy for the administration, control, and improvement of the public parks of the town of Prescott Valley in the advancement of the visual arts and other cultural art forms in the town, including commissioning works of art, establishing arts events, and incorporating art into public works projects. This is a volunteer position requiring some experience and knowledge of parks and or arts, recreation programming, special events, and or parks maintenance. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. Building Board of Appeals
Starting point is 00:01:17 The town of Prescott Valley is accepting applications from town residents to serve on the building board of appeals. This is a volunteer position filled by appointment of the town council. The board meets to review and decide appeals of town building staff decisions. The town code seeks to have board members with backgrounds in architecture, engineering, contracting, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing trades, real estate, and or design. Perspective applicants with any of these backgrounds may apply, with a special preference for backgrounds and architecture if available.
