and changing weather conditions, fall presence new challenges for drivers and pedestrians.
With reduced daylight hours and increased pedestrian activity, particularly near schools
and in residential neighborhoods, it is more important than ever for all drivers and community members
to remain alert and exercise heightened awareness. Safety begins with vigilance. Drivers. Slow down,
especially in school zones and neighborhoods. Watch for pedestrians at crosswalks.
Be alert at dawn and dusk. Pedestrians. Use crosswalks and obey signals. Make eye contact with drivers.
