Fernandez has been proud to call Arizona home since childhood, attending Glassford Hill Middle School
and graduating from Bradshaw Mountain High School in 2009. She continued her education at Yavapai
College, earning an associate of applied science and business management in 2012. In 2015,
She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor's degree in public administration and
began her career in local government. Her public service journey began in 2015 as a court clerk
with the Prescott Valley Magistrate Court. In 2018, she was promoted to deputy town clerk
and, through dedication and hard work, advanced to her current role. She was appointed as town clerk
in 2020, a position she has embraced with great passion and commitment. As a young woman in
government, I have worked to challenge and overcome stereotypes, proudly serving as the only
Hispanic department head in my organization and the youngest department director in our local
government, Fernandez said, I thank God for the strength and wisdom to lead, and I take
great pride in representing diversity and bringing a fresh perspective to leadership. I am deeply
grateful for the opportunity to serve my community and remain dedicated to fostering excellence,
