Starting point is 00:00:41 to bring laughter and light to the evening. One of the most meaningful and emotional parts of the night was the introduction of a handcrafted bell created by rodeo general manager Jim Dewey Brown. This bell is more than a symbol. It represents hope, healing, remembrance, and triumph. It was made for those who have overcome cancer and wish to ring it in celebration, and equally for those who are no longer with us to ring it themselves. Loved ones may ring it in their honor, ensuring their strength and spirit continue to be felt. A powerful reminder, whether in victory or remembrance, no one faces this journey alone. This year's gala was made possible through the incredible generosity of so many.
Starting point is 00:01:19 A special thank you goes out to our local business owners, who step forward quickly and wholeheartedly to donate auction items for this cause. We also extend our gratitude to the many artisans, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the event's success. And a sincere and very heartfelt thank you to Karen Davis, whose dedication, countless hours, and unwavering commitment played a vital role in bringing this event to life. As always, the heart of this event reflects the spirit of the world's oldest rodeo, we rodeo, we give. Thank you, Prescott, for showing such compassion, generosity, and unity in supporting local families facing cancer. We look forward to seeing you all again next year as we continue to ride together, give together, and stand together, ride in for a cure.
