This summer, prepare to be whisked away on a magical adventure as Fourth Wall Productions proudly presents the Wizard of Oz, an enchanting musical performance for the whole family.
Taking place from July 17th to August 3rd, from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. and Sunday shows at 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The show will be held at the Hazeltine Theater, located at 208 North Marina Street and historic downtown Prescott.
The love by generations, the Wizard of Oz follows the timeless journey of Dorothy Gale,
a spirited young girl who is swept away from her Kansas home to the whimsical land of
Oz. Along the way, she meets a cast of unforgettable characters, the heart-seeking tin man,
the brain-craving scarecrow, and the courage-lacking cowardly lion, as they travel together down
the yellow brick road in search of the mysterious wizard, each hoping to fulfill a deeply held
wish. Audiences will delight in this faithful and fun-filled stage adaptation, which brings new life to the
classic story through theatrical magic, heartfelt performances, and dazzling costumes.
The production features many of the songs fans know and love from the iconic 1939 film,
including Somewhere Over the Rainbow and If I Only Had a Brain, along with several numbers that
are unique to the play version, giving both longtime fans and first-time viewers something fresh
to enjoy.
