If there were a Mount Rushmore for Masons, Noe Martinez would probably already have a spot chiseled
out. With over 30 years of experience in the trade, Noe's not just laying bricks, he's laying
the foundation for excellence. Currently, he and his expert crew at Stone Cold Masonry are hard
at work on the Legato Apartments, building not only beautiful walls but a reputation that's
rock solid. Founders Building Group is thrilled to partner with Stone Cold Masonry at Legato
apartments, especially with Noe leading the charge. A legend in the field and a familiar face at
Las Vegas's world of concrete fastest trowel on the block competition, Noe might have the trophies,
but prefers to credit his teammates in the leadership of Stone Cold. Stone Cold Masonry,
headed by the master himself, Lance Little, has been instrumental in Noe's success. Founders Building Group,
the company behind the Legato Project, is singing their praises, recognizing the high level of
craftsmanship Martinez and his crew bring to the table. In which,
While Noe humbly credits his success to his team, he also gives a tip of the hard hat to Lance Little,
who has created an internal training program that ensures stone-cold masonry isn't just a name,
it's a school of masonry excellence. Let's talk about those trophies for a minute,
because Noe's masonry resume is as stacked as a pallet of concrete blocks.
First place in 2016, because who doesn't love a comeback story.
Second place in 2017, 2019, and 2022, always a bridesmaid, but still a champion.
3 place in 2007, 2018, and 2021, because, let's be real, the competition's tough.
In the 2022 competition, Noe laid 138 concrete masonry units in just 20 minutes. That's a lot of bricks.
So many, in fact, that he was only two blocks shy of snagging first place from a much younger,
and probably much more caffeinated, 26-year-old. But as Noe will tell you, it's not just about winning,
it's about getting better every time.
Martinez's journey into construction started with his older brother,
who probably didn't realize he was kicking off a multi-generational legacy in the trade.
Today, that legacy is continuing through his son, Jonathan, who has been laying bricks for seven years.
Family, tradition, and craft, sounds like a perfect combination for success, doesn't it?
Of course, Noe's career hasn't been all smooth sailing.
Arizona summers aren't known for their cool breezes, and working with bricks in the sweltering,
heat is no walk in the park. But with grit, perseverance, and a whole lot of training,
Martinez shows just how much can be achieved through dedication to his craft.
Thanks to Stone Cold Masonry's commitment to workforce development, Noe isn't just a master
at his trade, he's also a mentor, passing down his knowledge to the next generation of bricklayers.
So, while the Arizona heat might be unforgiving, knowing Martinez's legacy of skilled craftsmanship
will only continue to heat up as he builds Arizona's future, one perfectly placed brick at a time.
