Local cheerleading powerhouse Storm Elite cheer recently made waves on the national stage,
bringing home an extraordinary series of wins from back-to-back competitions and marking a historic milestone for the program.
Storm Elite Storms Utah.
Just two weekends ago, the entire Storm Elite gym traveled to Orm, Utah, to compete at the Jam's Mountain West Challenge,
and the results were nothing short of spectacular.
Senior Palm and junior Palm teams delivered power.
powerful performances and brought home first place in their respective divisions.
Level 1 took first place and was crowned Level 1 champions.
Level 2 earned first place, Level 2 champions, and secured a bid to the JAMS champion competition coming up in May.
Level 3 took first place.
Level 4 not only took first place, but also brought home the Level 4 champions title.
In a groundbreaking moment for the gym, every single athlete returned home wearing
a national champion jams jacket, a first in Storm Elite's history and a proud moment for the local
cheer community. Even more impressively, every Storm Elite team has now officially earned their bid to the
champion in Las Vegas, setting the stage for an epic season finale. But the momentum didn't stop there.
Storm Elite Crush is at Rec Summit. Just one week later, Storm's level 4 team, Crush, took the stage at
the rec summit, one of the most competitive events in the cheer world. Moving up from Division 4.2 to Division
Crush embraced more challenging stunts and advanced tumbling requirements.
They rose to the occasion, hitting zero deductions both days and earning an impressive 97.6 score,
a nearly flawless performance.
The team received perfect technique marks for both their tumbling and stun execution,
proving they were more than ready for the challenge.
Despite facing obstacles throughout the weekend,
Crush delivered an unforgettable performance and brought home first place,
another historic win for Storm elite at a higher division level.
