Tourism and economic development director Tricia Lewis said the campaign honors Cottonwood's charm
while inviting visitors to experience the region's true spirit.

Asphalt Overlay Project in Chino Valley and Prescott.
Earth Resources Corporation, in partnership with Yavipai County,
will perform an asphalt overlay project on Road 4 North in Chino Valley and Deering Road in Prescott.
The project is scheduled to start on November 3, 2025, and continue through December 16, 2025.
Construction work will take place Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and will
include asphalt overlay, guardrail updates, and new striping. One lane of traffic will remain open at all
times, though motorists should expect lane restrictions, slower speeds, and flagging operations within the work zones.
drivers are encouraged to allow extra time when traveling and to follow all posted traffic
control devices to ensure safety for both workers and motorists.

Prescribed fire scheduled in Prescott National Forests Yolo Ranch Area.
Fire managers on the Chino Valley Ranger District plan to conduct a prescribed fire in the
Yolo Ranch area of the Prescott National Forest from October 28th to October 31, 2025,
treating 2,296 acres of Ponderosa Pine Forest.
The burn aims to reduce hazardous fuels, strengthen forest resilience, and lower wildfire risk to
nearby communities. Smoke is expected to be light but visible from Prescott, Chino Valley,
Paldon, and surrounding areas, with some lingering in valleys overnight. Drivers are urged to use
caution, slow down, and turn on headlights when encountering smoke. The project supports the
forest long-term land management strategy focused on safety, sustainability, and wildfire prevention.

Fountain Hills is turning up the volume with a new free concert series at Centennial Pavilion, running from November
2025 through April 2026 on the third Thursday of each month. This series will feature performances
from New Destiny, The Sugar Thieves, Tiny House of Funk, Barnaby and the Butcher, Znora,
and Cisco and the Racguars, offering a mix of R&B, blues, rock, country, and bluegrass.
Concerts run from 6 o'clock to 7.30 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and
chairs for a comfortable outdoor experience. Visitors can enjoy local bites and treats before and after
shows, making it a full night out in downtown Fountain Hills. The event is a partnership
