80% below the Arizona Public University average for full-time students. Students can save approximately $9,000 per year by attending Yavapai rather than attending a four-year Arizona Public University. 36% below the National Community College average for full-time students. 23% below the National Community College average for part-time students. YC also offers numerous discounts to its students ranging from dual credit discounts for high school students to senior citizen discounts. In addition, YC's promise program for high school graduates and workforce promise for career and technical education allow students to get their degrees for free. Yavapai College endeavors to keep prices affordable so that education is accessible.

And unlike universities, Yavapai College has very few additional course and program fees, which keeps its pricing very transparent. The approved tuition rates for in-state students starting July 1st, 2025 are Tier 1, 1.13 per credit. Tier 2, lab and business courses, $131 per credit. Tier 3, career technical education, $146 per credit. Market-based programs. LPN, nursing, or radiologic technology $203 per credit. Gunsmithing $163 per credit Upper Division, Junior and Senior, Business Courses, $195 per credit Upper Division, Junior and Senior, Nursing Courses,

$305 per credit. Course fees Aviation courses plus 12.1% commercial, plus 31.5% private. Fire Science FSC 105 plus 5%. commercial driving CDT 200 slash CDT 250 plus 5%. Individual music lessons plus 5%. Fees for auxiliary services.
