Hey, everybody. It's Joe here. This is episode zero of a new podcast called SKZ. I started a YouTube
a while back. It's called Psych Made Simple. You're welcome to check it out if you'd like.
And although I like the idea of having these video format ways to educate people about psychology,
I really wanted to kind of branch out and be able to talk about other topics as well.
And I also want to branch out into other platforms other than you.
YouTube, especially going into the podcasting 2.0 space.
I'm a big fan of Fountain Podcasts and the Fountain app that integrates Bitcoin in.
And you can get Bitcoin for listening and also give Bitcoin to creators to kind of reward them for their work.
And didn't really want to just be completely beholden to YouTube.
So I wanted to kind of get some content out to other platforms.
The format of SKZ will be basically audio essays.
And what I want to do is look at different themes that can help us learn different things about, for example, psychology, but doesn't have to be psychology, but learn about the world and kind of integrate different topics that I'm interested in where I see that theme emerging.
So episode one, which I'm going to post right after this, is actually just ripping from a YouTube video that I created.
It's about 30 minutes long, and it's talking about the theme of withdrawal and how I see that playing out in the Bible.
Dune, the book series, and in kind of just the history of Bitcoin with Satoshi Nakamoto,
withdrawing from the project after a couple of years.
And I talk about the importance of that withdrawal and how it plays into decentralization
and a couple other just helpful features about Bitcoin, for example.
So I hope that you enjoy.
And really what I'm trying to do, like I said, is just kind of integrate these different
topics, explore themes.
If you have any suggestions of kind of themes to explore, things you want to learn about whether it be, you know, philosophy, psychology, Bitcoin, video games, those are some of my primary interest.
But I'd love to kind of just integrate those different worlds.
And, you know, a big reason why I'm doing this is I had a lot of fun creating this video.
And I think it's kind of just better to put it out there as a podcast rather than the video because I'm honestly not that good at editing videos or really.
interested in that side of things.
I'm really just interested in the conversation
and just being able to talk about something I find interesting
and help people learn about it and hopefully expand that
to talking to people about that.
So yeah, let me know if you enjoy the first episode.
And again, as always, just let me know
if you are kind of interested in learning something
about any of these topics or have something
you'd like me to cover.
Thanks, and I hope you enjoy.
