Now here's a quick word from our sponsors
before tonight's episode begins.
My friend, welcome to sleep escape.
And to this bedtime meditation
that will help you unwind
and put the day behind you
As you prepare for a good night's sleep, feel free to begin this practice as you settle into bed,
lying down or sitting up, whatever you prefer.
Just getting as comfortable as you possibly can, finding whatever position that feels good for you.
And once you're settled, take a nice deep breath in.
filling all the way up into your lungs, and down into your belly, and then exhale.
Just letting all of the air fall back out, and as you do so, close your eyes.
Turn inward, shutting down everything in the outside world, to the world inside,
completely. Moment at the top, and then exhaling, nice and slow, releasing, releasing any
any tension in your body. Once more now, inhale and let it out. Nice and slow.
Softening down even further. And then you can return to the pace and depth of breath
that feel most comfortable for you. Just use this next moment to scan your body from head to
Just noticing any areas of tension, tightness, fingering energy.
As your attention moves down your body, it brings a wave of relaxation, easing you deeper and deeper
into a state of calm.
Once you finish that body scan, say to yourself, I can relax now.
There's nothing I need to do, but be here and enjoy this quiet time.
Because your mind may find its way there anyways, not allow yourself to reflect on the day
you just lived without judgment.
Simply observe the events of your day, passing across the sky.
Let the memories drift in.
and out.
You don't have to hold on to any of them if you don't want to.
Focus in on a few moments from this day that you're grateful for.
It can be anything big or small, even just some nice weather, a tasty bit of food or a kind
word from a friend.
Whatever comes to mind, just take a second to a pre-year.
to appreciate it.
It may be small,
but they're now forever
interwoven
into the tapestry
of your life.
And that's such a special thing
matter what kind of day
you just had.
Recognize
that it was all yours.
It's part of your journey
no matter how
today was
or doing beautifully
because you showed up and you lived.
This might feel like one of your best days
or one of your worst, most likely.
It's somewhere in between.
But no matter what, you should be proud of yourself.
Because no matter what today was,
you did the best with what you had, like every day.
You are enough.
just as you are, and you have done enough as the time is through.
There's nothing more to do, but enjoy the peace, quiet, and comfort, rest.
So just enjoy these last few moments of stillness and quiet as you sink deeper and deeper
within yourself.
Moment is yours
to enjoy.
Saver this time.
Lead safety
and peace.
You deserve this rest.
It comes to solve,
to figure out.
You can find ease,
knowledge that
with each passing breath,
your mind,
body,
and spirit are ready.
is moving ever closer consciousness to sleep and in your own way you're ready you can let go allow
sleep take you on that dream-filled journey you rest in the morning lately refreshed and rejuvenated
sweet dreams
