And to this sleep session, in which you'll let go of an overactive, racing mind, distancing yourself from all of your thoughts, all of the noise in the outside world as you float from the comfort of your own bed into the vast darkness of space where everything's peaceful and quiet and as you drift farther and farther from your daily to-dos and worries you'll move closer and closer to a deep and restful sleep.
Starting point is 00:03:13 And this session is uniquely designed to help instill a quieter mind and deeper rest through the addition of four hertz binoral delta waves. And they may be best enjoyed in headphones, but it's not required to enjoy their effects. so settle into a comfortable position, whatever feels best for you, right here and right now, taking the time to make any adjustments, no matter how slight they may seem, if it offers you even just the tiniest bit more comfort, go ahead and make that adjustment, because no matter how much or how little you did today,
Starting point is 00:04:16 you deserve to be as comfortable as possible. And once you've settled in, just rest your gaze out on the ceiling or the wall. Whatever's out there in front of you, slowly allowing your eyes to close. As I count down from five, just beginning to notice that growing desire to let your eyes close.
Starting point is 00:04:57 arriving at four, ready to let go of the day just passed, and enter into a world of peaceful dreams as we come to three. Your eyelids beginning to flitter and flicker under that growing weight, and you're barely able to resist that weight now, maybe even seeing only through the tiniest sliver of your eyelids, but holding out just until we reach one. And you allow your eyes to close all the way down now, enjoying that first sensation of complete release and relaxation in the muscles around your eyes as you feel that sensation spread, softening all of the muscles of your face, expanding through your neck and your shoulders, down your arms, across your chest and your back, releasing every point of tension, disengaging every joint as it continues to move through your
Starting point is 00:07:13 hips, and all the way down your legs. And once that wave of relaxation has passed all the through you, I invite you to soften even deeper, letting go just that tiny bit more by inhaling and collecting any lingering tension or energy. And as you exhale, expelling it from your body and softening down and further down with each cycle of your breath. And in this way, you progressively, bit by bit, will guide yourself into a deep, a natural state of relaxation. Breath by breath, moment by moment, moving even just one percent closer to the land of dreams. And through this process, the physical relaxation of your body, becomes an anchor and a guide for the mental and emotional being to enter that same relax calm state
Starting point is 00:09:20 so it doesn't matter if you're already drifting into sleep or if you're in a lighter state of ease and relaxation because we all reach sleep in our own way and on our own time. And there's no need to feel rushed or frustrated. If your mind or your body isn't quite there yet, because your body knows how to sleep, it's designed to do so. And so if you find that your mind is racing or lingering on some thoughts
Starting point is 00:10:26 or happenings from the day, that's perfectly fine. and normal. In fact, you should be grateful to your mind for doing this because it means your mind is a problem solver. And through that, it's serving you in so many positive ways in life. And most of the time, all it needs to let go and drift off is something else more inviting. peaceful and enjoyable to rest its attention on. And to that end, I invite you to imagine that your bed is no longer just a piece of furniture, a safe, comforting place where you sleep tonight.
Starting point is 00:11:48 It's much more than that. It's a launch pad, a soft and cushioned vessel. designed for a journey across the stars. And you aren't going anywhere that requires effort. You'll simply let go of the anchor of gravity and your daily routines that keep you attached to the here and now. As you lie there, I invite you to begin releasing all physical sensations. beginning to see yourself floating above your bed and you may even feel as you let go and sink deeper and deeper
Starting point is 00:13:07 that the points of contact between your body and the bed begin to fade and become lighter each breath leading you to sink deeper and simultaneously Float higher, lifting and drifting like a cloud rising through the ceiling, through the night air, propelled by that steady and softening rhythm of your breath, rising higher and higher, past the clouds and the sky into the vast, velvety darkness. of the cosmos. And as you rise, you turn your gaze downward. One last time
Starting point is 00:14:48 to catch the fading view of your own home and your own street, the world you live in daily, becoming just a tiny speck of light. And from this view, the problems that seemed so big,
Starting point is 00:15:25 and prevalent are just microscopic dots. The stresses, the worries, the to-does, and all of the stories, they're shrinking, they're dimming and fading, as though the higher you go, everything seems quieter. and you're entering a great silence passing by the moon and the planets as though you're a beam of light untethered to anything and everything you thought you understood and as you travel farther and farther You see a head, a vast cloud of glowing violet and deep indigo dust. This is the realm of the nebula, the nursery of stars, a place where everything is unmade, unlearned, and reborn. And you have a sense that if you were to reach the center of this nebula, you know,
Starting point is 00:17:57 you would discover the deepest and most profound states of existence, something close to sleep, but even more disconnected from time, even more removed from the day in the world that you live in. A rest, a reconnection, a re-energizing. That's beyond. the comprehension of words. And so, moving as this infinite beam of light, you turn towards the heart of the nebula, and with every breath, a decade of stress, a lifetime of fatigue, and a millennia of stories, falls away. And as you're just ten light years from the heart of the nebula, all light begins to fade all of the sensations of your body. So often you are officially somewhere else in a universe where all sensation has faded as you enter.
Starting point is 00:20:28 Light year nine beginning to see the first wind. of the nebula, appearing like dust or gas, glowing in highlighted colors. That feels like soft silk brushing against your mind, finally unplugging all of the nerves so that all sensation is lost. As you move in to light your eight, from the heart of the nebula, traveling through a field of ancient stardust, each speck beings of years old, untouched by time and everything you thought you knew to define life as you understand it. This tiny bit of dust is exponentially older.
Starting point is 00:22:25 and all of your problems and all of your to-does. And it allows you to let go just that bit more as you enter. Light Year 7, the violent light of the nebula, becoming thicker and warmer, enveloping your being like a weighted blanket of light and pure cosmic energy, sinking into the unlimited expanse of the stars as you reach light year six and you've traveled so far now that you can no longer even remember where you began or the world you usually live in or the version of you that's millions of miles away as you're reconnecting to something that's even grander,
Starting point is 00:24:16 something timeless and undefinable, entering Lightyear-5, and you're halfway to the center now. Passing a nursery where new stars are being full. appearing like tiny bright pulses of energetic potential. And you realize that you too are made of this same stardust. Not a person having a cosmic experience, but the cosmos having a human experience, the timeless, having a human experience. A timeless existence expressed and an explosion of life in the form of a human being. And this softens all lingering mental and emotional tensions guiding you deeper into rest and relaxation and further into life. Light Year 4, where the indigo dust is becoming thicker now, still air-like, but its motion becoming
Starting point is 00:26:50 visible, your movement, creating ripples in this sea of cosmic dust as you cross into Light Year 3, where all light as you know it. is fading. You're now approaching the dark core of the nebula, a place of absolute rest, where energy is being consolidated, reformed, and reintegrated into the deepest and smallest parts of your being, your rejuvenation, expanding even deeper, beyond the cellular level, beyond the molecular and the atomic levels. As you enter, light year too, and you can feel that you're almost there
Starting point is 00:28:38 nearing the core of the nebula as the silence grows deeper, the peace expands further. And all that you can sense is the soft hum, of the universal constant cosmic vibration, a timeless layer of energy from which all others derive,
Starting point is 00:29:34 sensing more and more of it now, softening, deeper, and deeper, letting go until at last, everything seems to cease, and you arrive, A year, one, the center of the nebula of your great reset, where there's no up or down, no left or right, no sense of time or space. There's only that cosmic vibration, the cradle of life, from which the laws of time, in which the normal happening,
Starting point is 00:31:22 of time and life do not and never will apply and it's here in this bed of infinite cosmic safety relaxation and rejuvenation that you can finally rest you are home here you have absolutely nothing to do, nothing to worry about. And that's such a nice feeling, isn't it? So allow yourself to enjoy this distance from the normal happenings and worries of your day-to-day life where you can simply rest and recover, releasing everything you hold on to, like your name and your story and the troubles in the world in which you live, allowing yourself to float through an infinite sea of peace, reconnecting with the healing power of the universe as you sleep,
