I'm your host, Tyler.
And I'm so glad that you've chosen to be here with me as we take this time to adventure together across the border of consciousness and into the world of sleep.
Ensure that everything is set and ready for you to go to sleep.
Any sleep timers or morning along?
arms are already in place.
And as you begin to settle into a complete sense of comfort, you can just follow the sound
of my voice.
There's nothing you need to do.
Nowhere you need to be.
Nothing to worry about.
This time is just for you, for your mind to unwind.
for your body to rejuvenate and for your entire being to go through its own natural healing process.
And I don't know whether you'll fall asleep faster to the sounds of my voice, to the calming music in the background,
or to that slow and steady, rhythmic rise and fall.
of your own breath.
But I do know that we're all capable of a deep and rejuvenating sleep.
We're designed for it after all.
So enjoy this opportunity, not only to let go of the day just passed, but also to let go of any need for control, any desire.
to fall asleep immediately.
Any expectation about what this night may be.
Just grant yourself the gift of being able to enjoy some quiet time by yourself.
If anything, focusing on allowing yourself to relax and release any,
built up tension from the day.
And if you'd like to start,
that process of relaxation,
then you can just begin
by taking a nice deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
feel a wave of relaxation,
passing through your body,
starting at your head,
softening the muscles of your face,
relaxing your jaw,
your shoulders and back, your hips, and legs, and finally, releasing your hands.
And with each coming cycle of breath, allow yourself to relax just that bit more.
Because if you relax just one percent more, with each breath, with each breath,
then soon enough, you will be completely relaxed.
Give permission to your body to lead you through this natural healing process of sleep
that it knows so well and slowly as you relax deeper and deeper moving just
that bit closer to sleep. So too will your mind begin to fall more quiet. But surely,
somewhere along the path to sleep, your mind will wander off somewhere. And if it makes
its way to somewhere that you like, then why not stay there? If it wanders to somewhere,
that you don't like so much, then simply take a deep breath in. And as you let that
breath back out, feel that same wave of relaxation, pass through your body, encouraging each part
of you from your face all the way down to your toes to soften once again. And as you
drift breath by breath moment by moment closer to the borders of your own consciousness so too will your
body's natural healing process begin to take place and it's not a process that requires any action or
thought on your behalf. It's a process accomplished simply by letting go. And that's such a nice
feeling, isn't it? At your body and mind, heal you without any effort from you. And as you
continue to soften bit by bit, slipping, slipping.
and closer to a state of deep rest and rejuvenation.
You may find the infinite well of life that lives within you, the source of your healing,
the source of your knowledge.
And through this time, spend
connecting with that deeper source within you.
Sleep may become something that you begin to look forward to as a place where you're
always safe.
You're always healing.
You're always growing.
Always becoming a better version of yourself.
And there's no need to worry if you haven't found.
the peace of sleep yet if you haven't drifted across that boundary between wake and rest
because we all get there on our own time and in our own way trust in your own body
It's far more capable and knowledgeable than we know.
Trust in your own body is what will allow you to wake up tomorrow feeling fully refreshed, fully rejuvenated, and with a positive outlook on life.
And so it may be helpful as you continue to try to try.
