Hey friend, welcome to sleep escape, where tonight your destination is a place.
place of absolute peace, tranquility, and rest. In this sleep meditation, you'll visit an
ocean-side oasis, where you'll let go of all worries and concerns, and the soothing sound of the
ocean waves will guide you into a deep and restful sleep. But before we'll be a sweet, but before
we get there, let's take a moment to get settled and relaxed. So begin by finding a nice
comfortable position in bed, making any adjustments to get yourself even just the tiniest bit
more comfortable. And once you're there, allow your eyes to softly flutter closed,
feeling that first sense of relaxation and the muscles
of your face, softening your forehead, your cheeks and your jaw, and allowing that relaxation
to spread all the way from head to toe throughout your entire body, allowing yourself to melt
into the bed beneath you, and then taking a nice, deep inhale, expanding all the way through your chest,
and down through your diaphragm and exhaling even slower.
Just letting the air fall back out.
Let's do two more just like that.
Inhale, collecting any lingering tension in your body.
And as you exhale, releasing that tension and allowing yourself to sink even deeper down,
into the bed.
Once more now, inhale and exhale.
Release completely.
And just allow your breath
to return to its own natural rhythm
and depth now.
Whatever feels easy and effortless to you.
Trusting
that with each easy breath
you're moving one step closer towards sleep and we all get there in our own way and on our own time so i don't know
exactly when or how you'll fall asleep tonight but i do know that with each passing moment
you're moving closer and closer so try not to stress or worry about when you'll fall asleep
asleep, avoid the frustration of not being asleep just yet. And instead, try to enjoy this time
where you have peace and quiet, nothing to do or worry about, or you can just take it easy,
relax and enjoy a dreamy adventure to a pristine ocean-side oasis.
and if you'd like to visit this perfectly hidden gym by the sea then i invite you to imagine
that you're walking along a hidden path made of soft warm sand winding between dunes of rolling sand and
tall reedy grasses. The air is fresh, carrying that crisp scent of sea salt and wild beach
jasmine. It's the kind of air that signals you're near the ocean and it instantly clears
the static noise from your mind the moment the sea breeze brushes across your face. The sun is falling lower
and lower as you come to the top of a dune upon which a sandy staircase leads down to the ocean
and as you step down these stairs one by one a deeper sense of relaxation and ease washes over you
stepping down to the tenth stair and feeling the muscles and your shoulders and your neck completely release moving to the ninth stair as your worries from the day just passed seem like the most distant memories and the eighth stair feeling a sense of peace and calm growing deeper and deeper with
thin as you move to the seventh stair and the sun falls lower and lower in the sky stepping to the sixth
stair and you've let go completely of everything outside of this present moment the fifth stair feeling the tension
in your lower back and your hips soften
and melt as you move down to the fourth stair and your breath is moving slower your heart beating softer
the third stair as the sun begins to cross the horizon casting glimmers of pink and purple across the sky as you settle down again to the second stair
and an all-encompassing sense of peace and tranquility.
Permeates through every cell of your body.
And as you step down to the final stair,
you feel the soft, cushioning sand of the beach beneath your feet,
connecting you to this pristine stretch of ocean.
and a sense of calming energy flows up through your toes and your calves, releasing your muscles
and your joints as it spreads up through your legs, your hips, your belly, your back, and your chest,
out through your arms and all the way into your face and your mind.
And although your feet are firmly connected to the ground,
you feel this slight sense that you're floating,
as though all of the weight and stress and burdens that you've been carrying
have been released, lifted, left behind. And all of this, as the sun has just crossed completely
beyond the horizon, darkening shades of blue and indigo, spreading across the sky, the first
shimmers of the stars, beginning to shine above. And as you look out across the shoreline,
watching the ocean waves rolling back and forth, you notice off in the distance, a private bungalow
nestled up the shoreline, neatly surrounded by the dunes. This,
is a sanctuary built just for you, a cozy haven where you can unplug from the world and surrender
to sleep. And so you wander along the shoreline, filling the soft sand, spreading beneath your
toes with each step, and you walk towards the water, crossing the sand.
that line in the sand where it begins to feel damp and cool and here, standing at the very edge of the
water.
The waves glide gently across your feet before slipping back into the sea.
And for a few moments, you enjoy the opportunity to do absolutely nothing.
but listen to the rhythm of the ocean, washing, back and forth, expanding, releasing.
And as the moments pass, you begin to notice at your breath and the rhythms of your body
are following that of the ocean, the inhale, following the waves, rising up the shore,
and the exhale, following the release as they fall back.
And in this way, each wave that washes away from the shore carries with it a piece of your day
back into the ocean, relieving you of any racing thoughts, any conversations you're still holding on to.
any problems you're still trying to solve any to-do's you're still trying to take care of the ocean washes it all away wave by wave
breath by breath there's no need for you to carry any of this right now just let it all go into the endless
expanse of the ocean, knowing that you can always pick it back up tomorrow if you need to.
And maybe you'll discover that you've been ready to let it go completely.
And as you let go of all of these thoughts and things, one by one, with each passing wave,
You feel yourself, becoming lighter, becoming more free, or at peace.
And that's such a nice feeling, isn't it?
So with the twilight deepening and a gentle coolness settling over the beach, you thank the ocean
for its timeless wisdom and helping to relieve you of your stresses.
and worries. For the beauty and the freshness, it offers you in this moment. And with that,
you allow one last wave to wash cool water over your feet before turning away from the ocean.
And towards that, cozy bungalow nestled just a short distance away. You feel the sand beneath your
feet, change from cool and damp to dry and slightly warm.
And as you approach the bungalow, you walk up the few wooden steps to its deck,
turning one last time to catch a glimpse of the ocean as a bold and bright moon
reflects high above. All is still and all is quiet. Just the steady rise and fall of the waves
is all that's awake right now. And so you open the door of the bungalow, greeted by the comforting
scent of cedar wood and crisp, clean linens, a single amber-colored lantern.
glow softly on the nightstand, casting a warm and protective light all across the room.
And even with the door closed, you can still hear the timeless and rhythmic dance of the waves outside.
But inside, between these sturdy walls, you're perfectly insulated.
They're completely dry, warm.
and safe. Here, the outside world can't reach you.
And to-do's, careers, and relationships.
They all fade away, as though time itself has lost all meaning.
The only thing that penetrates this ocean-side oasis,
is the peaceful, muted sound of the waves.
And so you climb into the cozy bed,
sliding between the freshly clean, cool sheets.
And you allow yourself to let go completely.
Sinking deeper and deeper and even deeper into the bed.
and as you settle, lying in the most comfortable way, you look out the window to see the silver
reflection of the moon riding atop the subtle waves in the dark waters of the ocean.
And just as the grashing waves removed all of your worries and thoughts now,
As you rest in the bed, the rhythm of the waves washes away any physical tension or sensations.
Your legs becoming completely limp and heavy.
The tension in your back and your shoulders softens and melts.
and in this way, with each wave that comes and goes, you sink just an inch deeper into the bed,
allowing yourself to drift deeper and deeper, moving towards sleep in your own way
and on your own time, feeling your body.
totally at rest, losing touch with all physical sensations as relaxation takes over,
allowing this sense of physical ease to act as a guide, to lead the mind to a similar space
as you soften deeper towards the most restorative sleep of your life, knowing you are completely safe.
Here in your ocean-side oasis, calmed by the peace of the sea, the rhythm of the waves,
softening the breath, washing away your thoughts.
and your worries, letting go more and more with each passing moment, knowing that you have done
more than enough today and that you are worthy of this time for absolute peace and rest.
each wave, recharging your body, your mind, and your spirit so that you will awake,
fully refreshed, rejuvenated, and renewed, grateful for each breath, each moment of life.
