welcome to sleep escape where tonight you'll fall asleep in your own peaceful private oasis in the heart of the rainforest
and there the healing power of nature will soothe your mind and body as the steady patter of rain through the trees guides you into a
and restful sleep. So go ahead and settle into the most comfortable position you can find.
Taking the time and the opportunity to make any adjustments, even if it brings just one percent more comfort.
Make that adjustment because you deserve to be as comfortable as possible.
And it's these tiny little adjustments moment by moment that move you closer and closer to a good night's rest.
And once you've settled in, allow your eyes to softly flutter closed as I count down from five beginning to feel that growing weight to four.
releasing the day and embracing relaxation three your eyes fluttering and flickering and two only able to see through
the tiniest slit in your eyelids now but holding on for just one more second as we arrive at one
and you allow your eyes to close all the way down now and enjoying that first moment in the darkness behind your eyelids noticing the relaxation in the muscles around your eyes as it spreads across your forehead your cheeks your jaw softening every muscle
every muscle in your face and allowing that softness to form a wave that spreads from your head
through your neck and your shoulders down your arms into your hands inviting every joint
every muscle and every cell to relax and soft and soft and soft
completely for the night as it continues to spread through your chest down your back
along your spine through your belly your hips down your thighs your cap and all
the way to the tips of your toes and with every muscle and joint and cell completely
relaxed throughout your whole body you can take one nice deep breath in collecting all remaining tension
or energy and as you exhale allow yourself to let go completely being deeper and deeper and even deeper
into the bed, beginning to let go of the day just past and opening your mind to this time
where you have nothing to do and nowhere to be. You can simply follow the sound of my voice,
opening your mind to the possibility of enjoying a deeper sense of relax.
and a good night's rest and to do so.
I invite you to envision a door and it can be any door that you like.
And on the side of the door where you currently stand is the waking world with all of your to-dos and all of the stresses.
And you're ready to let go of this waking world.
and enter some place that's more relaxing,
more peaceful.
And so you open the door to find on the other side of it
a rainforest oasis with an all-encompassing sense
of calmness and serenity.
And since you're ready to let go of the day just past,
you step through the day just past, you step through the door,
door leaving the waking world behind and entering into this dreamlike world of the rainforest
oasis where soft raindrops patter all throughout the trees and yet you somehow remain dry
and comfortable here on the rainforests.
floor as though the environment is both calming and protecting you at the same time.
You take a deep breath, smelling the fresh scent of earth and rain and flowers.
And you take a look around through the lush greenery, the tall, strong trees.
the colorful birds and plants, and you notice that a stone path leads up ahead to a cozy bamboo
cottage resting atop a hill where just below a peaceful stream, bobbles and babbles over a gentle
waterfall and there's something about that little waterfall that calls to you now so you step slowly
along the stones past the ferns and the flowers and as you approach the stream you notice there's a place
where warm, soft, and fresh towels
have been set out just for you.
And so you decide to take a dip
into the pool of water
created by the waterfall.
And once you've prepared yourself to do so,
you step down some stone stairs,
to the edge of the stream
and as you take that first step
into the water
you not only feel the freshness
and the coolness
of the water
washing over your skin
but you also notice
something different
something
deeper
as though the water has
begun to wash away all of your tensions, all of your worries, all of the aches and pains,
both mental and physical. And so you find a comfortable spot along a big rock in the water
to take a seat and allow this seemingly magical stream.
to wash everything away, and you rest your gaze on the rainforest canopy,
high above, allowing the seconds to become minutes, losing track of time,
as you have nothing to do and nothing to worry about right here and right now.
And you simply enjoy the peace and you.
quiet, the moments of silence with the pattering of the rain and the soft chorus of the
rainforest.
And you begin to notice that it seems a deeper sense of relaxation fills your body, not just as though
your muscles are relaxing. But your thoughts too and your beliefs subtly shifting towards a sense that
everything is okay. All as well right here and right now. And that although there are times of
excitement and celebration and times of turmoil and trouble this cycle of life of life is necessary and each point in the cycle
is beautiful creation recycling rejuvenation over and over slowly
but steadily, growing and improving, ever continuing, like the soft rush of the water across your
skin and the rhythmic chirping of the rainforest frogs. This is how it's supposed to be.
This is how progress happens.
Everything is working out, even if in certain moments you may not see how.
And this series of profound but simple realizations instills your entire being with a sense
of relaxation that you're not sure you've ever really experienced.
It's a sense of ease and comfort that goes beyond the physical and it goes beyond the mental and emotional as well.
It's a sense of relaxation that comes from something greater and it's not something that's separate from you.
It's something you are a part of and all of this brings you.
an all-encompassing sense of comfort,
allowing you to let go more and more,
enjoying each breath and each moment of life more deeply.
And having lost all sense of time
and entered this most peaceful state
you decide to make your way out of the stream, feeling fully healed.
From the inside out, you take one of the soft, fresh towels, drying yourself off and following the stone path, up the hill, past the trees and the ferns.
to that cozy bamboo hut which is waiting just for you, your own oasis, with a cozy and comfortable bed,
completely dry and safe. And as you settle into the bamboo hut, the sun sets and night falls
over the rainforest
and so you decide
to settle into that
cozy bed
feeling yourself
sink deeper
and deeper
and even deeper still
into the comfort
of the bed
noticing that
profound sense
of relaxation
throughout your body and your mind and your spirit worried about when or how you may fall asleep
and instead simply enjoying some time for peace and quiet where you have no obligations no
worries and no problems, resting your mind on that steady pitter patter of the rain,
each breath, softening you more and more, each moment drawing you closer and closer to sleep,
knowing that everything is okay.
All is well and life is working out for the best.
Releasing any tension, softening your mind
and finding a new sense of pleasure
in doing absolutely nothing, grateful,
for the healing you experienced in the stream and drifting in your own way and on your own time
into a deep and restful sleep here in your own private and peaceful and peaceful.
