So let's begin by making sure you're settled into bed, nice and cozy, making any adjustments you need. Even if it will just make you 1% more comfortable, then make that adjustment, because that might make all the difference in how you sleep tonight.
Starting point is 00:05:55 And the profound transformation that you're embarking on won't happen in one giant leap. It happens in small steps. So start now by doing these little things to care for yourself just that bit better. And now that you're comfortable, I'll begin to count from five down to one. And during the course of that countdown, you may feel the weight of your eyelids growing heavier and heavier, such that by the time I reach one, you'll no longer be able to resist, and your eyes will close all the way, starting now, at five, just feeling your body, begin to settle as we come to four, your eyes beginning to flutter under the growing weight of your islands.
Starting point is 00:07:18 And three, that weight beginning to take over now as we come to two, and you're barely able to resist the desire to close your eyes, but holding on for just one more moment as we reach one. Allowing your eyes to close all the way down and feeling the muscles in and around your eyes,
Starting point is 00:07:59 softening all the way, relaxing your face and your jaw, and feeling that relaxation, become a wave, moving through your body, starting from your head, into your neck, shoulders and arms, each muscle and joint, softening all the way down, as that wave passes by, moving into your chest and your back now, feeling everything release as it spreads into your abdomen, your low back, your hips, your thighs, your calves, and all the way to the tips of your toes. And now that that wave of relaxation and ease has moved through your entire body,
Starting point is 00:10:03 just allow everything to soften even deeper and deeper down and to help with that. Further slowing your thoughts and relaxing your body. We'll take a few deep breaths and I'll guide you all the way through. So let all of your air out and then inhale. One, two, three, four, five. Hold. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, exhale. One, two, three, four, five,
Starting point is 00:11:16 six, seven, eight. Two more. Inhale, one, two, three, four, five. Hold. One, two, two, three, three, four, five, four, five, six, seven, eight. One more. Inhale.

Starting point is 00:12:06 three, four, six, seven. Exhale. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, and eight, allowing your breath to settle into its own natural rhythm and depth,
Starting point is 00:12:38 each one, adding just that bit more space between you and your thoughts and each one, bringing you just that bit deeper and deeper into relaxation. And now with your body resting, we'll transition to the visualization portion of this recording. So just imagine yourself floating above where you lie right now, looking down on yourself, perfectly calm, and at rest. And imagine that you can zoom out on this moment in time, seeing your entire life as a timeline. And you can look forward into the future or backward into the past.
Starting point is 00:14:19 And for just a moment, look back at the year just past, acknowledge the hurdles and obstacles you faced, recognizing that no matter how you got through them, you did somehow. You made it here to this moment. And that's really remarkable. It shows how resilient and adaptable you are. So take a moment of gratitude for the past year. All its good, bad, and everything in between, because it's brought you here to this time and this moment of transformation where your trajectory and your path will continue on in a beautiful and positive way. So now turn your gaze forward on your timeline into the future
Starting point is 00:15:58 and imagine the next 12 months stretching out. before you, and although it's not totally realistic, for the current purposes, see this future timeline through the lens of everything going well, and according to expectations. Observe your life six months from now. What are you doing with your time? Notice the expression on your face and how you carry yourself. you look lighter, brighter, healthier, healthier, happier, and more confident. You're living with the sense of purpose and joy.
Starting point is 00:17:44 And as you move further along that timeline, to one year from today, take another moment to observe what's happening. Notice your surroundings, the places where you spend, spend your time, the people you spend your time with. What have you let go of that's removed barriers and weights from your life? What have you created? That's brought joy, health, and happiness. Feel the deep sense of satisfaction in your heart and mind knowing that this future is totally within reach, because as you know from your past, you are capable of amazing things, overcoming exceptional odds. And as you watch this best case scenario of your future,
Starting point is 00:20:00 remember that life is a living and breathing thing. It rarely follows a straight line, and it never goes exactly as we expect. or plan, there will be fluctuations, winds that blow you off course, and unexpected turns. So keep yourself grounded and connected to this reality. These fluctuations, they're often the moments where the most beautiful things and growth can happen. It's most productive. If you see this future intention as your North Star, offering you a sense of direction, and reminding you of the principles you want to live by, step forward on that timeline, and step directly into the body of that future you feel the fabric of the clothes they're wearing on your skin.
Starting point is 00:21:49 breathe the air of that successful, fulfilled, and meaningful future, such that you're no longer observing this future anymore. You are inhabiting it, and you can use this time here, in and among your future self, to explore this life you're dreaming of, that you're bringing to reality, because it's through this sense of exploration, that you can discover in more detail
Starting point is 00:22:54 all of the windings and learnings of your path ahead to becoming them. And as you explore this version of yourself, let the world around you soften into the landscape of your dreams, allowing you to safely evolve and transform into the highest, most fulfilled, most joyful, healthy, and vibrant version of yourself. And as you drift through that future world, allow these words to wash over you, entering your subconscious mind, reframing your thoughts and beliefs, and reorienting you
