Starting point is 00:01:15 Hey there, my friend. Welcome to Sleep Escape. And to this soothing adventure into the land of dreams that will help you cultivate a deeper sense of a self-love. And if you haven't already, begin by finding a nice comfortable position in your bed
Starting point is 00:01:48 or wherever it is that you'd like to rest right now. And once you're in that position, take a nice deep breath in, filling all the way up into your lungs and down through your dying. diaphragm, and then exhale, release. Just let all of that air fall back out and gently, slowly. Begin to flutter your eyes closed, as though the weight of your eyelids is becoming too much to resist.
Starting point is 00:02:55 And once your eyelids close completely, All of the muscles of your face to relax, softening your jaw and your forehead, and then sending that wave of relaxation all the way across your body. Just allowing yourself to settle and melt completely into your bed. There's nothing left to do or say, give yourself. permission to rest, to soften down completely because you deserve it and as you allowing yourself to relax more and more sinking deeper and deeper with each passing moment bring to mind a loving image of yourself. Maybe there's a picture of you that you love or it's the image of yourself as a child maybe it's one that you're just
Starting point is 00:05:17 imagining in your head whatever that image is observe yourself in this loving way notice something about you that's unique that makes you feel special some trait or quality that you absolutely love about yourself, and it might be as simple and silly as your laugh. But whatever it is, it should make you feel proud to be who you are. Be the smile on your face. See the people who love and support you as well. Are inherently beautiful, valuable, and desirable, and desire. of love. Step into this image with yourself.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Being into your own eyes and telling yourself you are worthy. You are beautiful. You are valuable. Are loved. Envision taking your own hands or placing one hand on your shoulder and saying together with the image of you. I love and accept myself exactly as I am. As you drift into a peaceful night of sleep, hold this loving image of yourself in mind. I'll begin a series of affirmations that will help you strengthen this connection to yourself.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Or simply let them wash over you as you relax deeper and deeper into sleep. Worthy of love and kindness and accept myself exactly as I am.
