Welcome to Sleep Escape and to this deeply relaxing, guided meditation in which you will experience
the healing power of rain as you visualize.
A walk through a rainy forest
where all of your worries, concerns,
subconscious limitations, and emotional blockages
will be healed and cleansed all while
the soothing sound of rain, pitters and patters in the background, guiding you into the most deep
and peaceful sleep. So take a moment just to settle in, feel your body supported by the surface beneath you.
Let every muscle in your body soften down.
giving permission to every part of you to gently and completely lacks.
Allow your eyes to softly close if they haven't already.
And follow that natural rise and fall of your own breath as it guides you into a state
of serene stillness, feel the rhythm of your breath, which will, over time, in its own way,
gently slow and soften. And in this moment, as you began this path towards sleep,
ask yourself and take for yourself, whatever it is,
You need to be just that little bit more comfortable and relaxed.
The sounds of the rain wash away the world outside as you let go of anything you no longer need.
Drifting further and further, deeper and deeper within yourself,
until all that exists is this moment that's just for you so sacred and special because this time
is for you to heal, to rejuvenate, to slowly, and gradually make your way across the border
of consciousness and into sleep. And I don't know when you'll fall asleep or exactly how
you'll fall asleep or what will help guide you more deeply into sleep but as you make your way there
in your own time and in your own way you can just allow your mind to wander and follow my voice
as you begin to imagine yourself standing at the edge
of a vast ancient forest.
The air is fresh and cool,
carrying the faint scent of pine and damp,
moss-covered earth.
And even though it's slowly beginning to rain,
you've got your rain jacket
and some sturdy boots,
dressed in such a way
that will keep you perfectly dry, comfortable, and warm.
And as you begin to move through the forest,
you notice that there's a sense of aliveness here,
as if the forest is welcoming you.
The sky above glimmers in a soft,
shifting gray.
You notice the sound of
gentle raindrops
falling through the leaves.
The sound is light,
a soothing patter.
You feel the rain
greet you
with a cool
and refreshing touch.
It's not cold,
it's just right.
Like a gentle caress
from nature itself.
And you have a sense that
this is no ordinary rain.
It feels
purposeful
as though it carries an energy
that's meant
just for you.
Each droplet
seems to hold
the power to cleanse,
to release, to heal,
And with each step you take deeper into the forest,
the rain becomes more steady.
Its rhythm becomes a soft melody in your ears,
like a song of nature that resonates through your whole body and the world around you.
Although the rest of the forest is quote.
quiet. It feels alive with the trees swaying gently in the breeze. There are branches forming a canopy
that shelters you with only little raindrops filtering through, catching the light
and sparkling like tiny jewels in the air. You pause for a moment. You pause for a moment.
and close your eyes, simply to feel the rain more deeply.
With each drop, you sense something being washed away, carried away, removed from your body,
the stress, the worries, the tension, the people, situations, and beliefs that have
limited you all dissolve bit by bit as the rain washes over you carrying away all of these negative energies
and you take a deep relaxing breath allowing yourself to soften into the cleansing power of the rain
And as you exhale, you begin to notice how much lighter and more free you feel already,
because this rain doesn't just cleanse the surface.
The skin, it reaches deeper, it moves into your muscles and joints, easing any tension,
any tightness. It flows through your mind, clearing away. Any chittering and chattering thoughts.
And it touches your heart and soul, easing away old emotions that you've held on to for far too long,
moving through the forest again, enjoying that growing sensation of freedom and lightness.
You notice your shoulders relaxing, the muscles of your forehead and face, softening,
your breath moving more smoothly and effortlessly, your heart,
feeling more open and the path you follow winds gently through the trees leading you further
into this sanctuary of calm and at some point you reach a small stream weaving its way
through the nooks and crannies of the forest its water
is crystal clear. You kneel down beside it. Dip your hands into the water and feel it's cool,
clean, refreshing touch. You take a handful and lift it to your face as it flows over your skin.
It feels as though it's washing away.
the last remnants of worry.
And as you rise,
you notice the special and unique shimmer
that this rain possesses.
It's as if each droplet is filled with light and healing energy.
As it moves through you,
even deeper still, healing places within you that you didn't even know, needed attention.
Touches old memories releasing their weight.
It dissolves fears, softening their grasp, and it clears away all doubts, leaving behind a sense of peace.
and certainty.
And as you continue on, you begin to notice
that the rain and the forest have a subtle rhythm
and that your heart and your breath
have begun to align with this rhythm.
And this rhythm, this alignment,
is guiding you more and more into a place of complete peace and relaxation.
Here, you feel safe, strong, steady, supported, connected to all that is, all that was,
and all that ever will be.
And this connection and support opens your mind in such a way that you begin to notice
just how expansive and all encompassing you are.
The rain in this forest, having washed away,
all of the conditioning, all of the limits, all of the negative ideas of your day-to-day world,
leaving only that space within you, which has always existed, but can sometimes be forgotten.
Space, for calm, for clarity, for peace, and as you become more aware,
of this sense of space.
The forest begins to open up around you and ahead.
You see a clearing bathed in a soft light.
And as you move closer, you see that this light emanates from a cozy cabin, standing
in the corner of this healing forest, its windows glow warmly against the gentle grays of the rain
and greens of the forest. You move closer and step onto the porch of the cabin. The scent of wood smoke
greets you, filling you with
and comfort
and something deep within you
lets you know
that this cabin
is here
just for you

of the forest
and the rain
and that same
healing energy
which has brought you here
So you open the door, step inside, feeling a soft warmth, embrace you.
You remove your rain jacket and your boots, and you take a seat next to the crackling fire,
which burns away in the fireplace, listening to the soft, pitter and patter of rain.
that continues outside.
And as you enjoy this time to relax and warm your body,
you begin to recognize that the chatter,
which usually fills your mind has dissipated.
It's as though you've moved so deeply within yourself
that the normal happenings of your mind are so far away
that they can't even be noticed.
And so you rest here and eventually,
whenever the moment calls,
settle into the soft and supportive bed
that sits a short distance
from the warm,
cozy fire. And here you feel your body and mind. Surrender fully. Every muscle relaxes.
Every thought disappears. Even the sound of the rain outside seems to fade into the background
until all that's left is a distant hum, actually, becomes.
slower and slower your body softer and softer as you begin to gradually drop deeper and deeper
within yourself towards a completely restorative and rejuvenating sleep
is your time to rest, to heal, to dream.
Allow yourself now to drift deeper and deeper into calm, into peace, into sleep.
Having been completely restored, completely healed by the rain, and that quiet sense,
In your own mind and in your own heart gently guides you into the deepest and most restful sleep are exactly where you need to be are exactly who you need to be are healed completely.
