a specialized sanctuary designed to transition an overactive mind,
into the most profound and restorative rest.
My name is Tyler, and tonight it's my honor and privilege to be your guide
as we slow and shut down the critical faculties of the active and thinking mind
and anchor you into a deep, unbroken sleep lasting all night long.
So allow your body to find its own.
own natural position of total comfort and ease. If you need to make adjustments, go ahead and do that
now. And once you've settled into that position of utmost comfort, allow the surface beneath you
to take 100% of your physical weight. Notice how the mattress doesn't ask you to try. It simply
holds you. It accepts everything you give it.
completely and effortlessly.
Now take a nice deep, slow breath in through your nose,
expanding fully through your chest and your diaphragm.
Holding that air for just a moment,
and as you exhale,
allow your eyes to softly fall closed
on a count of five, three.
Feeling them flickers,
and flutter. Two, almost closed, but holding on for just another second. And one,
allowing your eyes to close all the way now, welcoming that dark canvas behind your
eyelids as the sensations of the outer world begin to fade, replaced by the soul.
softening sensations in the muscles of your face, the deeper relaxation of your jaw, and a wave of
complete calm, spreading through your body from head to toe, from left to right and right to
left and as the outer world slowly fades moment by moment your inner relief is beginning to unfold
and as the outer world continues to fade farther and farther from your conscious awareness you'll slowly begin to
make your way breath by breath towards the land of dream
and I don't know whether you'll fall asleep faster due to the words that I say, the way that I say
them, or the spaces between my words.
But I do know that we all fall asleep in precisely our own way and on our own time.
And so if you have any lingering worries or concerns or thoughts whatsoever,
about how you'll fall asleep tonight, about when you'll fall asleep, about how deeply you'll sleep,
or whether you'll wake up at some point in the middle of the night, I invite you to let those
thoughts go for now. And instead, simply enjoy this time for peace and quiet, where you have
absolutely nothing to do. The only past time for now is the comforting joy
and releasing more and more.
And that's such a nice feeling, isn't it?
And if you'd like to release more and more,
then I invite you to bring your awareness directly
to those tiny, intricate muscle fibers
surrounding your resting eyes
and offer them just the gentlest encouragement
to relax completely.
so that the eyelids become totally heavy, tiredly at rest,
as though there's a soothing, velvety weight,
just resting down on your brows,
smoothing out any lines of concentration or concern,
inviting the islands to relax deeper and even deeper
until there's no way that they would move even if you tried.
are too comfortable to care, too deeply settled to move.
And once they reach that point of total relaxation, let go of all effort completely.
You can stop trying now.
And as the physical sensation of letting go is coupled with the mental sensation of releasing
all effort, you may notice a cascading wave of relaxation,
double in power, flowing outward from your eyes across your forehead and traveling over
the crown of your head like a warming tangle of pure calm. And from there, you feel a
pouring stream of relaxation, washing down the back of your side.
skull, reaching the base of your neck where so much unnecessary weight and baggage is held.
And as that wave reaches through your neck, it washes away all tension there, like water
sprayed across a stone path. And that relaxation streams farther and farther.
Down your shoulders, all the way through both arms.
elbows, forearms, and into the palms of your hands, drifting out to the very tips of your fingers.
Tenues to stream down your back through your hips, your thighs, your calves, and all the way
to the tips of your toes.
And as that wave of relaxation, complete.
its passage through your body, the relaxation that it spread doubles in power,
softening every joint and every muscle, quieting every nerve and calming every cell.
And with each slow breath you take, your opening chest draws in the peaceful,
cooling tones of the delta frequencies, playing in the background.
slowly attuning your mind to the wavelengths of sleep.
And in this way, both your physical and your mental being are slowly and steadily,
arriving at a state of pure motionlessness, of overwhelming calm and serenity.
And so if you'd like to venture even deeper still into this,
ultimate peace, I invite your deepest, most subconscious mind to imagine that you're standing at the top
of a beautiful, elegant, and softly lit descending escalator. This is your dedicated pathway,
uniquely created
to carry you down and down
floor by floor
into the lowest
and most blissful levels
of your being's natural sleep
and as you step on to the platform
you place your hands
on the smooth rails
and the escalator
does all of the work for.
for you. You don't need to move. You don't need to walk. It's safely carrying you downward without
any expenditure on your part whatsoever. And with every floor you pass, you'll discover yourself,
sinking ten times deeper into an idyllic and hypnotic, deep, subconscious state.
of rest beginning at the tenth floor sinking down into the first layer of mental distance as you look back up
and you see the world you've left behind becoming smaller and insignificant entering the ninth floor
and your mind is unbuckling itself from the timeline of the day the schedule
the plans, the memories of this afternoon.
They're just dissolving thought clouds, drifting away into a clear night sky.
As you reach the eighth floor, your heartbeat is going slower.
Your breath becoming softer.
and your entire being growing heavier, lazier, more content.
And you approach the seventh floor, sinking further and further into this quiet space,
the inner chatter of the thinking self, seemingly softer, as if a gentle rainfall of peace,
we're washing out the noise of the busier world.
While you settle to the sixth floor, your nervous system is calming itself,
rebalancing the body's processes and energies,
and clearing out all subconscious static,
cleaning out all that's no longer serving you.
And as you reach, the fifth floor,
arriving at the halfway point, the air around you is beginning to change, and you're drifting
into a state of beautiful ease and safety, all while the escalator continues to sink down
and down, arriving at the fourth floor, and your physical body is now so deeply at rest that you can
no longer keep track of physical sensations. You're simply floating, melting, melting,
letting go and more, deeper and deeper as you approach the third floor, beginning to enter
a deeper state of trance as the light in the space dims further and further.
into a rich and comforting indigo.
The critical mind is completely asleep now,
leaving only your vast, open,
an unconscious awareness to hear my voice.
As you arrive at the second floor,
every nerve is quiet,
and you're standing on the brink
of absolute,
and unbroken slumber,
detaching moment by moment,
from the outside world,
leaving everything in your daily life,
farther and farther behind,
as you settle into this utmost peace,
and finally,
the first floor,
you've arrived
at the deepest layer
of your mind's total rest, where everything is completely safe, and you have nothing to worry about
and nothing to do, but simply enjoy this deepest state of complete tranquility. And here, at the bottom of
your subconscious mind, lies the spa of supreme relaxation, a grand hidden atrium,
carved from the architecture of your own inner peace.
Everything here has been uniquely designed to ensure your maximum comfort and ease.
And as you look around with your inner mind, you notice the low, soft lighting, a shimmering, and golden twilight.
that seems to emanate from the walls themselves and all around the perimeter.
Lush and colorful plants,
adorn the walls.
And as you walk slowly through this,
inner sanctuary, you discover a private chamber known as the womb room.
It's the heart and center.
of this inner world of complete safety and relaxation and sleep and so you step inside
discovering that the inner walls are circular lined with thick soundproofing velvet of deep
midnight blues and purples and in the center of the room is a plush cloud-like net
nest of blankets and pillows.
And as you sink into this bed, you realize that there's something extraordinarily special
about this room.
It's vibrating, humming.
A low and resonant acoustic frequency that's less heard and more felt.
and more felt.
And you notice
that it must be humming
at the exact wavelength
of your brain's deep sleep cycles
because it seems to
in a timeless and universal sense
cradle your mind and your body
wrapping around your soul
like an invisible embrace
of absolute protection, slowly guiding you deeper and deeper.
As a projector casts a series of softly glowing words upon the velvety walls of the room.
And as I read these words aloud to you, each one will guide you just that tiny bit deeper.
and deeper, not only guiding you into sleep on your own time and in your own way, but integrating
directly into your profound and receptive mind, allowing you to heal, rejuvenate, and lead a more
