Starting point is 00:03:08 So simply relax, go ahead and settle into a comfortable position. And as you settle in, do whatever is necessary to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Even if it's just 1% more comfortable, make that adjustment. Because you never know, that might make all the difference in how you sleep tonight. And you deserve to be as comfortable as you can be. and to sleep as deeply as possible. Slowly begin to flutter your eyes closed, as though your eyelids are becoming heavier and heavier,
Starting point is 00:04:14 and you can no longer resist that weight and that gentle pull eventually leading your eyes to shut all the way closed. And as you settle into that first moment of dark, darkness behind your eyelids. Take a nice deep breath in and a long sigh back out. Releasing whatever you're still carrying from the day just passed is your time to let go. It's your time to rest. You have nothing left to do. Only task now is to relax. And that's such a nice feeling, isn't it? Bring your awareness. to your breath.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Without changing anything about it, just notice that simple rhythm, the rise of your chest and the expansion of your diaphragm, the contraction and relaxation as you exhale. Maybe you notice passing by your lips and nostrils on its way in and out.
Starting point is 00:06:44 Extend. the exhale just a bit and all you need to do is follow my guidance so inhale gently for a count of four three two one and exhale for eight seven six five five four three three two two One. Again, inhale. Four, three, two, for eight, seven, six, five, five, three, one. On your own for a few more rounds, allowing your body to soften even deeper with every exhale. This extended breath out, turns off your sympathetic nervous system, which is your system for wakefulness, and in its place it turns on the parasympathetic nervous system, which is for rest and relaxation.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Now let your breath settle back into its own natural rhythm. Allow your body to soften all the way down. the muscles of your face. Clench your jaw and allow your body to melt deeper and deeper, softer and softer of light that surrounds your bed. It's a river of warmth, shimmering like liquid sunlight, and this is the light of healing. And with every breath you take, you're draw that golden current of light into your body, enters through your lungs, where it moves into your blood, and it begins to spread throughout your entire body. It starts in your chest and your back, and as that light spreads into a new area. It permeates into each and every cell. It soothes and
Starting point is 00:11:21 loosens the muscles. It steadies the breath and the heartbeat. Your shoulders. Your arms. Your neck eases all tension. It spreads through your hips into your thighs, your calves and feet. Soothing, all discomfort. And finally, it moves into your head. Healves. Heal. Feeling your mind, turning your thoughts and beliefs towards a limitless possibility and positivity as this light enters into every cell in your body. You begin to feel weightless and perfectly comfortable and at ease. The exact opposite of discomfort and dishease. weightlessness may lead you to feel as though you're floating.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Light completely at rest. And as you float, that golden light continues to fill your body, entering with the breath, filling you even more full with that healing energy. You may begin to notice certain sensations. As the light fills you more and more out of your head, it brings clarity and peace, expression, and authenticity. It nurtures love and connection. The belly, it strengthens your core, your sense of support. It grounds you in safety and stability.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Through your arms and legs. it releases fatigue, making space for renewal, adventure, and creation. And as you continue to breathe in this light, every part of you softens, soothes, and balances. Even just the smallest percentage more, with each breath, will live. lead you to profound healing in no time at all. And you might like to imagine your awareness zooming gently inward, closer and closer, seeing your body on the inside, your tissues, your organs, your bones, until your focus narrows down,
Starting point is 00:17:14 to a single cell. And as you observe the ongoings of that cell, you can whisper inwardly towards it. You are loved or appreciated for everything you do. You are safe to heal, and you know exactly how to do it. As the cell begins to glow, as it fills with that healing light, repairing itself, healing itself,
Starting point is 00:18:28 aligning with balance, well-being, and vitality. Imagine the billions of cells in your body, responding to this healing light and your supportive words, all together in symphony. Each one awakening, aligning and restoring, healing in perfect synchronicity, and you can encourage them on by saying you are loved, you are appreciated, thank you for everything you do. You are safe to heal,
Starting point is 00:19:52 and you know exactly how to do it. And as you share this encouragement with every single, cell in your body, continuing to fill yourself with that healing light, you can see the harmony within yourself, spreading like ripples in a pond, cell to cell, organ to organ, until your entire body is glowing with renewal. Perfect symphony of healing. And all you have to do is rest. is an opportune time to offer a quiet thank you to your body. Thank your breath for sustaining you, for beating faithfully. Thank your senses, for allowing you to experience this beautiful thing called life. Thank your mind for all of its effort and thought.
Starting point is 00:22:05 And though your body may not be perfect, it is indeed. Yours, and it is indeed a beautiful existence. Your appreciation deepens your healing, and what you think you will strengthen. If you're still conscious of my voice, that's perfectly fine. There's no need to feel rushed to fall asleep or frustrated that you haven't drifted off already. You can simply continue envisioning yourself, breathing in this healing light energy and the intricacies of each cell healing you from the inside out. And I'll begin to repeat a series of positive affirmations off in the background for some time. And you can just rest your
Starting point is 00:24:01 attention there on the sound of my voice and each time you hear my words may you sink just that little bit deeper and deeper falling asleep in your own time and in your own way into the most restful and profound night of sleep awaking in the morning feeling completely rejuvenating and optimistic about your own life and existence. I am safe to rest of profound healing. The body knows how to heal itself, prioritizing my health and well-being. Exhale, I am letting go a little bit more.
