Starting point is 00:00:00 Listen, everybody needs a fairy godmother, you know, just somebody to look out for them. Some people call me their fairy smoke mother, others their internet big sister, but you can call me Hannah, the host of SmokeSash. So come hang out. Let's light up and talk everything there is to life. The good, the bad, the ugly, the embarrassing. I've got a story for it all. Hello, hello, hello, oddies, and welcome back to another episode of SmokeSash, the internet's favorite. favorite hangout spot. I know it's mine at least and I hope it's yours too. I am happy to have you back or happy to have you here if this is the first time listening. My name's Hannah and it's been a lot of new listeners lately. So shit, welcome. Literally we have a lot to talk about today. It's going to be a
Starting point is 00:00:54 fun little episode a bit crazy, bit wild. There's a lot of interesting energy in the air. If you want to get like spiritual with it. We have a full moon lunar eclipse coming up on the 27th. So that's just kind of sending things into a bit of a spiral, a bit of a fritz, a bit of a frantic episode. We're also about to end eclipse season. So like to freedom for real. But I've had a fantastic week so far. I feel like I haven't done much with my week, if I'm being honest. But sometimes, you know, when you do so much, it feels like you do nothing because, like, you don't even have the energy to think about what you did. That's kind of how it's been going for me lately, which is exactly what I want. Like, I want to be so busy that I can't even remember the last time I've gotten on my phone. You know what I mean? And if you're ever
Starting point is 00:01:49 curious, like, hmm, what the fuck does Hannah even do? Does she do anything with her life? You know, what does a day look like in her life? Well, guess what? There is a vlog out for the week. Okay, those go up every Sunday on YouTube at Hannah Marlene 444. Just a cuty little day in the life vlog. If you want to see me day maxing, life maxing, work maxing, that is over there. Of course, new vlogs every single Sunday.
Starting point is 00:02:17 And if you want to see them early, they are up on Patreon on Fridays. So you get to see them early, extra content there. extra episodes, extra podcast, extra extra, extra, extra everything. I also have a full moon right up, eclipse right up going up. So if you want to know how to adequately prepare to know what's going on in the stars, that will be up there. But I feel like with the eclipse, the energy has been very like suspended in jello. Like very like things are sitting or being forced to kind of like evaluate or sit with feelings
Starting point is 00:02:51 or sit with emotions. like it hasn't been as chaotic as sometimes well personally shoot like universe do not make me a lesson but like for me personally it hasn't been super like crazy chaotic it's been small little tiny mishaps here and there that i'm like okay just power through just figuring out like let's just keep going um and that's kind of the energy that eclipse season always brings but yeah with the eclipse energy I feel like it's been very like suspended in jello energy where we're kind of just like stuck in this place and we're being forced to look upon and evaluate and really, really kind of get the full picture of depending on what you're going through. And for me, this was a very eye opening eclipse season in a way that feels very calming calming, where it's like, yeah. Yeah, we've been new that.
Starting point is 00:03:51 We know. Yes, lesson learned. Acceptance. Let's move forward. Okay, let's start planning accordingly, you know. And so that's been really nice. Whereas in the past, I feel like whenever I'm faced with the same lesson over and over again, I start losing my mind a little bit.
Starting point is 00:04:08 At this point in time, it's kind of like, well, shit. Yeah. It is what it is. Let's just keep moving. Let's keep grooving. Let's just do our thing. That's all we can really do sometimes. And so if you ever hit that point in life where you're like, we just got a
Starting point is 00:04:19 power through you know like we can do the deep dirty nitty gritty work another day like we do not have to self-evaluate today free yourself a little bit like there's too much going on just power through sometimes that's all you can really do and that is okay you do not have to be the highest achieving highest like enacting person every single day you don't have to be boss bitch pussy queen you know um making a million every single day. Like, please for the love of God, it's okay to just have days where you're like, we just got to get through it and we got to do the best we can. And so that's kind of the approach I've been taking, a very relaxing approach if you
Starting point is 00:05:02 really think about it. And yeah, I've been doing a lot of fun things. I had per usual my horseback riding lessons this morning, which was really nice. It was actually raining this morning. And so we had a little bit of like a groundwork, like bonding, building. kind of lesson. It was just me in the arena. It was raining and lightning outside of thundering, not as trenchals. I'm making it sound, but she's like a really peaceful Midwest classic morning storm and then the sun came out by the time it was done. I spent a couple extra hours just
Starting point is 00:05:37 hanging out and chit-chatting with my instructor. She is the best, most sweetest, kindest person I've ever met my entire life, truly, honestly. And she gives like older sister vibes. This is why I say it's so important to have like women in your life who are two years older than you or two years younger or five years older like of all different ages 50 years older than you it's more to have women in your life that you like appreciate and look look up to in a sort of way no matter the age just as a way to kind of like keep yourself inspired keep yourself in check and know that it's okay know that it will always be okay and so whenever I hang out and chat with her that's always kind of the moral of the lesson and the in the conversation
Starting point is 00:06:19 we have. So it was a beautiful way to kick off my freaking week. We have a bit of a busy week this upcoming week. I have, I'm getting my teeth bleach tomorrow. I got to go to the dentist. Danger's got to go to the doctor. It's time for his annual exam. Fun little things of life where it's like we just got to go and we got to do it. We got to pay the bill and we got to keep it going. Like I said, just get her done and keep pushing. But yeah, I've had a fact. I've had a fabulous week so far. Nothing too existential or crazy has happened. No serious life lessons needed to be learned. It was just another week in Hannah's life. Like I said, if you want to see what that looks like, go watch the vlog. But with that being said, there are a lot of questions this week that I want to get
Starting point is 00:07:05 to that are very random and sporadic and crazy. And I think it'll be a really fun episode if we just do a little bit of a question roulette where we try and get to as many questions as possible. So let's not waste any more time. And let's Let's dive right in. I think I have about 18 of them saved. So let's go ahead and get into it. I am in a situation ship with my professor. What do I do?
Starting point is 00:07:30 Okay, living the dream. Just kidding, just kidding, just kidding. Okay, let's be honest. I feel like every girlie or guy or whoever, you want to talk fantasies. I feel like there's always been that like fantasy where it's like, but what if? But what if?
Starting point is 00:07:45 Unhealthy dynamic, bad, not good. but like a little naughty a little fun i had this teacher in high school real problematic okay but there's always like two maybe two or three really hot fucking teachers in high school that it's like oh my god and i remember i had the biggest crush on him he looked exactly like spencer reed not to mention he literally taught the like criminal science class. So we were like putting together like fake crime scenes and solving them and whatever. I have never received a more perfect score or like great in my entire life than that class.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Okay. You want to talk motivation, hot teacher. Now that's a motivation I aim to please always. Anyways, yeah, love that class. Loved him down. That man was so fine. But maybe, yeah, fantasy. I don't blame you.
Starting point is 00:08:45 But you better. be getting an A. That's all I gotta say. Like, you better get an A if you're in a situation ship with your professor. Like, you absolutely need to be getting 100% in that class. Okay. If he's getting some, if they're getting some, you better get something out of it. And also, please, if you're young, like these situations later in life, not so fun to look back on. But if you're like 20, 21, 22, 23, TA situation, and your professor's like 30, 35, I feel like that's not the craziest fucking age gap ever. So you know what?
Starting point is 00:09:25 You're living a lot of dreams that a lot of women think about on the daily. So do the best you can and bitch, you better get that fucking A. There wasn't really any scandalous like that at any of the colleges I went to. I'm trying to think back on like different situations or things like that. No, a lot in the high schools, which is really, really, really. really really fucking bad like please for the love of god let's not be doing that that is called being a child predator but um yeah not in not not at the college level i had a lot of professors that i became very close with and like in a mentorship way one that i actually nannied for he was my what was it
Starting point is 00:10:09 philosophy professor and that was really my favorite class i took in um all of college was philosophy And oh my God, he was the best ever, literally like number one fan, but he also was like, not hot or cute or any of those things. So best believe I was like, you know what? Yes, this is more of a mentorship of anything. No, I don't want to sleep with you. But yeah, I'll babysit your kids. Fuck yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Why not? But honestly, yeah, girl, get that A and then get the fuck up out of there. Because if they're doing it with you, you're not going to be the only one. So have your fun. eat your cake and dip as fast as you possibly can help i have a mutual friend that smells so bad what do i do can i say anything ooh this is tricky this is we have all every single every single one of us sitting here have been the smelly friend at one point and personal hygiene is called personal hygiene for a reason because it is very personal and straight up like some people are neglected as
Starting point is 00:11:18 and they don't know how to take care of themselves. They don't know how to, you know, literally do anything. They're like, yeah, I should brush my teeth, but I don't want to. Or yeah, I should shower every single day, but I don't want to. My parents didn't instill that in me or they didn't teach me how to wash my body properly or how to clean my hair properly. Like, I don't know. Sometimes parents, and this includes my parents, where it's like, they just kind of threw me in the shower and assumed I would know what to do. But like, baby, I had no fucking clue in there.
Starting point is 00:11:47 And then when it came to like middle school, it's like, okay, you start gaining a little bit more consciousness, especially a bit more like insecure consciousness and also like your hormones are out of control. So that was the first time of my life. I was like, okay, I need to start like actually paying attention to my hygiene and how seriously I take it. And to some people like simply put, they don't give a fuck. Most people though do care and whether they were not taught it or just like did miss a day or don't know the proper etiquette etiquette it's very hard to like have that conversation with somebody and it's a very delicate delicate dance but also it's like you gotta tell them you do I stand firmly in the fact of like if somebody needs a little bit of help with something I will
Starting point is 00:12:38 always be there to offer help but I'm not going to be like you stink you smell bad your breath It's kicking bitch. Like never ever ever. That's a worst way to go about it. I mean, they will enact change immediately, but also like, okay, now you are instilling an insecurity in them that is going to literally follow them their entire life. So the best way to really, really go about it is to like suggest things that you
Starting point is 00:13:06 are doing. Okay. The same way an influencer comes across your feet and they're like, you guys this product has absolutely changed my life that's kind of how you have to go about it you got influence them a little bit okay and you've got to be very very very gentle and kind with it not hey your breast kick in here's a toothbrush here's toothpaste go brush your teeth do it twice a day and also on top of it floss no no no no no just be like hey you know oh my god you i've been loving this thing i just got it's this like new kind of toothpaste it's everything to me like oh my god
Starting point is 00:13:41 and I accidentally ordered two tubes. Like I can bring you one if you want. Like I literally have extra, but it's changed the game. Like literally my teeth are so wide and breast smells so good. Like it's fabulous. You know what I mean? Or like,
Starting point is 00:13:51 oh my God, I always carry around an extra pair or an extra thing of deodorant in my purse that I just love because I can't even go a day without it. It's like you should check it out sometime. Blah blah. And it seems suggestive. You know, it does seem pointed.
Starting point is 00:14:05 But also it's like if I am the smelly person, I need somebody to tell me. I do. I do. And I think it's rude. It's like if someone has something on their face, I think it's rude to let them continue to have something on their face, then to extend a kind gesture of like, hey, sorry, like there's just something in your face. Let me get it real quick. Let me be gentle with it and let's move on with the conversation. You know, I think that is probably the nicer thing to do than to let them continue on being oblivious to this thing. You know, we get used to our stink. We get used to our smell. It's very normal too.
Starting point is 00:14:38 You know, we spend so much time with each other. And also like bodies are going to be. going to smell bodies are going to stink every once in a while. Duh, their bodies. Hello. After a gym session, me after going out to the farm. Like, yeah, I'm going to smell. I'm a smell like horse and human. And that's like kind of awful and kind of horrible. But also, it's like, you know, if people don't know how to adequately take care of themselves, they need some real teaching. And if their parents never did that to them, you can be the teacher, but you need to do it in a gentle and kind manner. Now, if you don't know this person, if this is a random stranger that you've never met and you were never going to interact with them again. Now that's maybe not a conversation
Starting point is 00:15:14 to have. But if it's like a good friend, someone that you know, see often, have in your inner circle, you talk about, you know, everything under the sun. This is another thing that I think you should be able to talk about. And if you do it very gently and kindly as like a, hey, I love this, you might love it too, the same way you would talk about your favorite foundation with your best friend or your favorite new clothing item or your favorite new handy trick or tip that's kind of how you have to talk about it okay and like i said most people want to know if if something's going on they don't want to be no one wants to be the smelly person now some people truly they don't give a fuck it's it's mostly i feel like men that i know that just like don't give a fuck i've worked with a man before at my old
Starting point is 00:16:00 restaurant who would like never wear deodorant ever ever ever ever ever ever and in food service when you are serving food your personal hygiene better be priority number one because you don't want to be like hey what do you guys want to order like sunday sponge bob edition like literally stink lines floating through the air while trying to sell people food like that's actually fucked up um but he his excuse and it was so bad my manager would bring deodorant with her to work the same way i was like kindly say hey i have this thing on me like you know here you go like have a solution this she would do that and he'd be like no i want to smell so people don't mess with me huh hello okay well now you're out of a job like i didn't fire him but like it was also like you are stinking up the entire place
Starting point is 00:16:54 and this is a problem. We've tried to solve it. We try to talk to you. We try to be kind. And it's just like, you don't care. So that's another thing. But usually, like I said, people care. People want to know.
Starting point is 00:17:03 People want suggestions. People want, you know, kindness when approaching it. Okay, do not give somebody a deep rooted insecurity. Now, here's some personal hygiene things that I do that I feel like take it to the next level, but also make sure that I'm just like out of good baseline every single day. First of all, you got a shower every day. I know. You don't have to wash your hair every day.
Starting point is 00:17:25 I do because I feel like I don't want oily hair, but that's like a me thing. You got to wash your body at least every single day. I know, I know, I know. If you can, if you're physically able to. And you know what really takes that to the next level? A fabulous body wash. Fabulous body wash. Someone actually also asked what my go-to shower routine is right now,
Starting point is 00:17:48 especially with lush products because, like I said, I have been loving lush products. I feel like they are so glamorous, so fun, so beautiful. You get out of that shower and you smell so, so incredible. Right now I'm using Happy Hippie, okay, which is this grapefruit body wash. Like it smells like someone poured grapefruit juice in this body wash. And not only is it like super, super like smell goody, bitch that ain't a word. Sorry, I'm already smoking weed today. So bear with me as my brain cells put senses together.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Not only does it smell fabulous, like citrus explosion, but I also follow it up with the, what is it, the 29 High Street body lotion, which has like citrus and vanilla vanilla vanilla. So I slather myself in lotion, smelly lotion and smelly body wash. I'm telling you, I smell good as fuck. Good as fuck. Number two, you got to wear deodorant. Two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer.
Starting point is 00:18:49 That's why every step and dollar raised matter. On September 19th, join thousands in Toronto for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Walk. Visit oikos.ca for more details. I know, I know. Some people say they don't smell. Some people say they don't sweat. I'm saying you probably do.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Okay. And for me personally, I'm going to be. one million percent honest with you. The all natural shit, it ain't cutting it. I'm a smelly girl. Like I said, bodies they're going to smell. Hello. I'm a smelly girl. The all natural deodorant. I'm going to smell like salt and sweat. And that's not good. That's not good for anybody involved. I've tried it. Why is it $30 and why does it not work? I have to use very traditional deodorant. Now, I do use a gel deodorant. And that has changed. the game for me because I feel like a last longer. It's not going to leave a white cast on your clothes.
Starting point is 00:20:29 And it's a little hydrating when it goes on. I love a gel deodorant. Once again, get it in a scent or unscented something that you enjoy. Having a personal scent is so fun and a great way to build identity about who you are and feel good about doing personal care. Okay. I love a scented something. Okay. And last thing is you got a floss. I know. I know. Damn, the dentist right me about to go get my teeth bleached i cannot wait to be in like literally agonizing pain i'm so scared i'm so scared maybe i'll vlog it take you guys along with me but like i was like the crest white strips not cutting it i drink too much coffee that's probably the real issue i need to not drink coffee but i'm like you know what let's just like chemically bleach my teeth my dentist offers it for like
Starting point is 00:21:15 real cheap and i trust my dentist with my life anyways that's just literally a random tangent but you got a floss you got a floss at least just like you know and keep like little floss floss picks on you you know small little floss picks very easy just like get in there or clean in between your teeth but like brushing is one thing sure brushing fabulous but like flossing is everything and if you really want to take it to the next level tongue scraper yeah I do not consider it a full teeth brushing unless I scrape my tongue. I have to do it every single morning because you know gunk builds up in your tongue food. You sleep with your mouth open. Now your tongue is the Sahara Desert and all your taste buds are dead. Let's scrape those babies off and get some fresh ones going. Um, but yeah, my mouth routine,
Starting point is 00:22:06 very simple. Electric toothbrush because I'm lazy and it's pink so I use it. Okay. Number two, toothpaste it tastes good. Number three, tongue scraper and finish it off at the end. end of the night, end of the night, with flossing. Very simple, very easy. Not very simple, not very easy, but also taking care of yourself feels good. And if it doesn't feel good, try and enact little things that will make it feel good. Me, anything that's pink, I feel good immediately. Thus, pink toothbrush, pink tongue scraper, whatever, you know, body wash.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Oh, I don't want to shower today. I'm so lazy. I don't want to shower. But I cannot wait to slather myself in grapefruit explosion. fabulousness you see you gotta make it enticing to yourself but yeah it's hard when your friend's stinky and you're like what the fuck do i do gentle like like an influencer trying to sell you a product oh my god you'll never believe what i found you should try this i think you'd love it it's changed my life that's probably the way to go about it i guess since we're on a personal hygiene kick someone also asked
Starting point is 00:23:14 as a girl who's always shaved completely since I've grown hair. How do you keep a trimmed bush? I want to look like a woman, not a raw chicken. Aloha. Thanks. Love you, Queen. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Listen, whatever your preferences are down there are on you, period point. Like, so literally whatever you want to do, beautiful, fine, amazing, wonderful.
Starting point is 00:23:35 I am not one to enact rules on people's bodies. If you should, if you want to smell horrible as well, like cool, fine. Like I said, I'm not a rule-going person. but also you know whatever you want to do with your body fabulous amazing me personally i have a bush
Starting point is 00:23:50 which i realized the other day is problematic when wearing white pants especially white yoga pants maybe you can see the full bush it's like literally like you can see the full bush so white workout sets for me out although i don't really care if anybody's looking at my bush not like it's popping through but it's like you can definitely see the imprint a little bit it's a bit crazy. Okay, anyways. Trimming a bush. Here's what I do. First of all, I don't have a full bush. Bush community don't come from me. But like a real full bush is all hair down there. That's what a real full bush is. Some people just let it go, let it grow. Okay, beautiful, amazing, all natural. Love it. Hippie. Dippy of you. Absolutely. Okay. Okay. Very 70s queen. Some people do full bush,
Starting point is 00:24:40 but only shave the cracking lips. So lips clean, full bush on top. All right. Like a hat. Okay, full bush on top, lips shaved. Now some, including me, do like a baby bush. That's what I like to call it. Some people call it a landing strip.
Starting point is 00:25:01 I personally call it a baby bush where it's like not everything on top is hair. Okay, I do shave, but I do leave. a little triangle. Maybe that is a landing strip. I don't know. I let it grow out a little bit. Nothing crazy. But here's how I do it.
Starting point is 00:25:20 There's many styles. There's many ways you can trim your hair however you'd like. Okay, the same way, there's many ways to do your hair up top. There's many ways to do your hair down below. And what works for you, what's easiest for you, what's best for you, is your prerogative. And honestly, it really is just all up to aesthetics. What feels good for you, what makes sense for you in your daily routine. for me for my aesthetic yeah i like a little triangle doop landing landy strip beautiful amazing lovely for me personally
Starting point is 00:25:46 when i was first figuring out how to maintain that shape this is crazy okay get a liquid eyeliner and maybe let's not put it back on her eye an old liquid eyeliner you i also do this for my eyebrows when i map them out before i pluck them i will use that and i'll use a mirror in front of me and i will draw the triangle so it's perfect okay so i have the outline of where to shave and then of course i will shave everything around it and then i'll trim it down i usually trim it down to like what is a manageable length and then shave all around it and then once i do that and i have myself set up for success i can usually follow that outline every single time i shave and i'm good to go i am good to go you guys and it is beautiful and is wonderful and is fantastic and I love having a little bit of hair down there
Starting point is 00:26:41 makes you feel like a woman but once again whatever you prefer whatever your aesthetic is is all up to you baby girl and I will say shaving for me was an uphill battle because once again my mom never told me how to shave she was just like here's a razor do not go against the grain and I was like great thanks hurt I guess good luck and I was just like just like accidentally cutting myself and nicking myself and getting in girl hair it was a mess it was an uphill battle and finally finally after like years of trying to figure out how to do it i finally figure out how to do it number one do it at the end of the shower make sure your follicles are wide open if you're going to use a razor make sure it has a moisture bar a moisture strip you need that or you need some sort of shaving cream that can go down there no if and or butts
Starting point is 00:27:34 on my leg sometimes i use conditioner conditioner might work down there i don't know don't want to recommend it because once again a little nervous about getting those that stuff close to my lady bits so i just use a razor with a moisture bar okay and then i shaved it a da da da da da oh with the grain not against against is how you get ingrown hairs i only do against the grain on my legs even on my armpits i do not go against the grain because i will get ingrown hairs even in my armpits with the grain. I only go over one spot or each spot one time. That's it. I'm not going to shave and shave, shave, shave, shave, because my body's going to get super fucking irritated. Now, once you're done, you know, rinse it all up, blah, blah, blah, blah, you have to not wear tight clothes for at least
Starting point is 00:28:25 12 hours. At the very least. So ideally like a whole day. So once, that's why I do it at night. You know, I go to bed, pantsless. Just freeing that thing out. Next day, I'm usually good to go. If I'm wearing underwear, I wear it, make sure there's not a lot of, like, seams on it, like it's seamless. And, yeah, that sets me up for success. And then I'll also use an exfoliator, specifically the KP bump eraser by First Aid
Starting point is 00:28:56 Beauty. And I'll use that on, like, the insides of my thighs. Girl, she is as smooth. and as clean as can't be. And then, yeah, I'll trim up the landing strip, like, maybe once a week. And I'm good to go. And she's cute. And she's fabulous.
Starting point is 00:29:12 And she's fun. But yeah, she does stand out in white pants. Lately, I've had lots of anxiety and finding myself randomly paranoid. Tips on cleansing energy. Hmm. Maybe you don't need an energy cleanse. This is my issue when it comes to being, like, randomly super insecure or randomly really, overthinking everything or randomly super anxious or randomly like who like an influx of energy it's because
Starting point is 00:29:39 i'm not expending my energy expending yes expending my energy is my thing with energy if i do not use my energy to put into something i am going to find something internally to input that energy into and because i love to self-abandon and hate on myself not that i love to but like i don't know why my subconscious reverts to it. I overthink everything. I make myself super fucking anxious. I hyperfixate on every single fucking insecurity I have. But that's only if I have so much energy and I'm doing nothing with it.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Great example. So I have a day off from work. Oh my God, there's nothing to do. But I've spent that whole entire week doing so, so, so, so, so, so much. Usually that one day, I'm good. I'm chilling. I can rest. I can relax.
Starting point is 00:30:30 I can do absolutely nothing. But if I've been doing it. absolutely nothing for a long time eventually my subconscious is going to find places to put that energy and it is usually not in the healthiest of places this is why i don't mind having like really crazy busy chaotic days or doing something from sun up to sundown literally my alarm went off 7 a.m this morning immediately up boots on in the car coughing in hand going and working with horses like that is ideal rather than waking up at 10 a.m feeling like i've wasted my morning and then trying to play catch up and then having nothing to like planned and then just sitting
Starting point is 00:31:09 around scrolling on fucking TikTok or whatever the fucking app is that you scroll on and then getting overly anxious of oh my god I'm not living my life accordingly oh my god I'm not I'm not I'm not I don't want to be here I just like literally you have to utilize that energy in a way that is going to put it in a healthy place now this isn't mean you have to be active 24-7 maybe it's just like, okay, I have extra energy. Maybe I'm starting to overthink a little bit. Let's get into a book. Let's start reading. Let's challenge our brain a little bit. Let's start reading. Wow. Or maybe we start journaling. We put our energy into our journal. We give ourselves a little taste of it. We get a, you know, and maybe think about the things you're insecure about. But eventually by the time you're done journaling and
Starting point is 00:31:51 you've expended that energy, you're not insecure, anxious, blah, blah, blah, blah, anymore. Maybe it's like, I'm going to go on a walk. I'm going to go on a walk. You know, we're just going to put our energy. there simple light beautiful eventually by the end of that walk you're not anxious or um i'm going to get up and i'm going to go do five minutes of laundry by the end of that i guarantee you're not as anxious you're not as insecure you're not as like overwhelmed as maybe you were in the first place so is there something spiritually wrong with you is there a demon attached to your body do you need a um energy cleanse no you need an energy purge you got to put that energy somewhere and if you're going to put that energy somewhere make it useful do not torture yourself
Starting point is 00:32:36 more than you need to be tortured you know how to respectfully cut someone off i'm such a people pleaser hmm okay you have either two options number one like i don't think there's anything about wrong with cutting people off but sometimes a break is necessary like maybe you don't need to remove them completely from your life but you're like i'm just burnt the fuck out with this person and when comes to that where you're like, I just need to take space. I don't think you need to say anything. I don't think you need to say anything. You just kind of like go rogue for a little bit. You kind of go off, do your own thing for a little bit. Oh, hey, can we hang out? Oh, hey, can, let me face time you, let me face time me, let me call you, blah, blah, blah. You don't have to answer
Starting point is 00:33:16 those. You don't even have to respond. If you do respond, you can hit them with the, oh yeah, sorry, I've just been so busy doing my own thing. I apologize. But like, I'll get back to you when I have a little bit more free time or when life's not so crazy. Sorry, things have been crazy recently but like i'll get back to you soon fabulous way to kind of like give some distance now how to respectfully cut someone off i don't think there's any respectful way to do it so like let's go ahead and get rid of that thing out of your mind because that's another people pleasing tendency that you might have where it's like if you're cutting someone off it's because they're evil and sometimes evil people don't deserve respect so you can either a tell them hey you're evil i don't want you in my life anymore
Starting point is 00:34:00 a little crazy in my opinion or you can literally just like go rogue and stop responding and some people do deserve you know i've been done real dirty in the past by some people and you know i did tell them i was like hey you did this you broke this boundary you cross this line i'm not okay with it and in order to put myself first i have to remove you from my life sometimes you got to hit people with that and sometimes people don't reserve respect and you can just remove you can just remove them from your life without saying anything. Now, you judge the situation and what is necessary and what is actually helpful and, you know, what you need. But yeah, if you think they're going to be receptive, go ahead and tell them how they fucked up and why you got to go. If you're like actually,
Starting point is 00:34:51 me saying anything is just going to create a bigger issue, baby, just run as fast as you can. And like I said, sometimes you just get tired of people or burnout or whatever. Life gets crazy. And if you need to take some space, that's okay. That is a okay. What to do if your boss is crazy, especially if they're doing shady, mad, and considerate shit. You need to be looking for other jobs while on the clock. I'm not joking.
Starting point is 00:35:17 I'm not joking. The best way to know if your job is worth staying or not is to ask yourself, how is management? How is management? How are the owners? How are the bosses? How is the person above you? If it is like actual hell, you have to leave.
Starting point is 00:35:30 And I guarantee there's plenty. I know right now the job market's bad, but like if you take your time to look and feel and test and scroll those LinkedIn post wall on the company time, you will eventually find a place. But you cannot stay at a place that has bad management, bad higher ups, bad whatever, or else your life is going to be hell
Starting point is 00:35:54 because they are not going to fire them. They've worked their way up into that management position and they're not going to fire them. And if they do fire them, they're going to replace them with someone eviler. Like I'm not even getting. So, yeah, that's like my one big thing when it comes to jobs is like, if I'm working a job, which I do work a job, it's like the management has to be good. If not, I'm going to disappear.
Starting point is 00:36:22 Or I'm going to be the worst worker ever, one of the two. So, yeah, I feel like that's like a big, whoof. You got to start just looking for other things. And it sucks. It just suck because like so many good jobs, good places, good work spaces, cool restaurants, cool this, cool that get absolutely ruined, ruined by bad management, bad bosses, bad whatever. And it's sad because it's like, damn, if I was a business owner, the last thing I would
Starting point is 00:36:48 want is a bad manager. They'd be gone before the little employees underneath them were. That's for sure. And if it's a job that's easy to replace, like a restaurant job, you know, you can hop around restaurant jobs. Feel free to immediately quit that job and go find a different one. But if it's like a, you know, a difficult job to get, maybe you're an HR, maybe you're in more corporate situation, maybe it's like a niche thing you got going on, you know, take your time, do your secret plotting. Don't let them get to you because they're just like getting off on it. If anything, you either call
Starting point is 00:37:21 them out on the behavior or walk away while they're speaking to you. I'm literally not even joking. That sounds insane to me to say, but I love hitting someone with a, Actually, that's not an appropriate way for you to speak to me. Clock it. But yeah, your job should not be that miserable. And to be fair, all jobs are going to be miserable, no matter what it is. Even if you're working like your dream fucking job ever, say like, you are a famous painter and your painting sell for $50 million.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Like literally like think like dream situation. You're still going to have moments where it's like, I fucked up that paint stroke. And now the whole painting's ruined. You know, I'm dealing with this broker. and now everything fucking sucks like every single job sucks period okay but it should not be so bad that you're going home at the end of the day and being like wow this is horrible this is awful I hate my life you shouldn't be like putting up with behaviors that you wouldn't let a stranger do to you you shouldn't be like be like dealing with mistreatment or you know bullying or harassment any of that
Starting point is 00:38:27 bullshit. Fuck. No. It should be like just small little things like damn. I got to join a Zoom call or damn I got to go into the office today or oh my workload is a little bit heavier today or whatever. I shouldn't be like so, so so insane that you're like crying at work. That's actually that's like too much. Nope, nope. Someone asked genuinely how do you feel about birth control? I love birth control. Controversial, controversial, but like damn I love birth control. Shout out to birth control. I probably would have at least 15 babies right now by now and I don't. So high key shout out to birth control. I love having a choice.
Starting point is 00:39:04 Shout out to having a choice as a woman. Shout out to not having children as a woman unless you want to. Shout out to having bodily autonomy. I think that is beautiful and wonderful and amazing. Now there's a separate conversation to be had about how doctors treat women. And the research that's been done on birth control or lack thereof. research. Like, don't piss me off. Actually, it is so barbaric and archaic and horrible and awful how people even discovered how women work or the fact that like we still don't even know fully how women
Starting point is 00:39:40 work psychotic. Anyways, anyways, yeah, love birth control. Shout out to birth control. Now, not all birth controls are, you know, for everybody. Not all types of birth control, not all doses of birth control. Not all birth control in general or birth control in general is for. everybody and I see that and I recognize that and I understand that but like if you are able to highly recommend I love my IUD it really is me and my IUD against the world speaking of someone said have you considered alternatives to an IUD mine is expiring in a few months mine is also about to expire um I have the Morena which technically should be upwards of eight years but they're kind of like maybe it's eight maybe it's six who knows you can take the risk
Starting point is 00:40:25 if you want or you know let's go with like the low end of the assumption just in case and replace it early rather than later i'm going to just go with eight years because i don't want to get a replace but i love my iud this is actually my second iud um once again not for everybody doesn't work for everybody how you know like i said all birth controls are different for everybody talk to your doctor. If I can give you one piece of medical advice as a woman is to, or anybody, find an OB who you trust with your life. Okay. Find an OB that you're like, I could tell them about any of my pussy problems, and I'm not going to be judged, and they're going to hear me out, and they're going to make sure the room is comfy, cozy for me, and they're going to ask me for consent before they touch me.
Starting point is 00:41:15 Tell me why I was shocked for the first time ever when I met my OB, and she was like, is it okay? I wasn't even like under a blanket or like pants off or anything. She was like, is it okay if I like if I touch you today? I was like, no one asked me that in a doctor before. Isn't that crazy? Anyways, I trust her with my life. But yeah, find an OB that you trust where you can talk about like how you feel and, you know, how hormones affect you and maybe, you know, pains and ailments and things like that. And you will be heard and seen.
Starting point is 00:41:48 I'm not going to recommend anything to you guys. other than that. But yeah, I love my IUD. And honestly, if I need to go see my OB soon, but if they were like, hey, actually it's expiring in a few months, I probably would get another one. Like I said, this is my second. And I found the reinsertion and replacement to be very, very easy.
Starting point is 00:42:12 But I do not equate that to the fact that it's easy in general because actually it is like so incredibly painful and insane and wild that they expect women to just like go through this without any pain medication. But the one thing that did change for me was they offered me spray lytocane for my cervix. So when they were clamping it in place, yes, literally trigger warning clamping your cervix in place. I didn't feel that part. And I felt like that was the most painful. Of course, there's going to be pain when they insert it into you. But that was the most painful.
Starting point is 00:42:44 And also they did it so fast. I feel like they were like changing a tire during like. a fucking drag race at a NASCAR event. It was like, firm, firm, done. I was like,
Starting point is 00:42:55 wow, you guys are fabulous. They do now offer anesthesia or general anesthesia. They also offer other pain medications. Advocate, advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself. That's like the best probably thing you can do if you're going to get an IUD. But yeah, I probably get another one because for me personally as someone who is lazy,
Starting point is 00:43:17 loves to have sex. unprojected most of time and also like cannot keep on a schedule at all and also has very very very heavy periods and also is highly affected by hormones like the pill was like I'm going fucking insane this has been absolutely fabulous for me now I cannot wait to not be on anything that's the real dream but that ain't going to happen ever ever ever unfortunately at least for now I don't know maybe when I'm like 50 that will be perfect but not for meow how to not judge your own artwork had to motivate hard to motivate myself to paint recently ily you got to make a lot of really bad art you got to make a lot of really bad art recently this
Starting point is 00:44:02 week i actually challenged myself to make one new painting every single day small painting large painting simple painting even just a sketch i did not give a fuck one new painting every single day. Uh, yeah, broke that spirit in me of like, I need to make beautiful arts. Like actually, no, I just need to make art. I just need to make art. I need to challenge myself and I need to practice technique. Not every painting is going to be beautiful, wonderful, gorgeous, amazing, but they will be eventually if you allow yourself to make a lot of really bad art. And that was a learning lesson for me. So yeah, you need to make more bad art. You need to sit down and you need to make a lot of art, a lot of art, a lot of small art, big art, I don't care, painting, drawing.
Starting point is 00:44:43 crafting, creating, whatever it is, you got to make it. And you got to make it badly. Eventually bad turns into good. And sometimes in the bad, you find good. So like, stop trusting yourself out about, like, I need to make a masterpiece. I need to sit down and make a masterpiece that's going to literally change my life and change people's lives when they look at it. No, that's not going to happen. Okay, let's just go in and break that in your spirit. No offense, but like that's not going to happen right now until you make a lot of really better. And that's kind of where I've come as an art. artist recently an acceptance I've made where it's like yes one day I do want to make masterpieces yes one day I do want to make art that's going to change people's lives when they look
Starting point is 00:45:21 at it or whatever but for now that's not what's happening and I need to not stress myself out too much and I just need to what make art make art and a lot of it right now is just copying not copying other artists but like I'll find a landscape picture and I'll be like all right let's try and copy that picture to this canvas oh I found a cute little butterfly I okay let's try and copy that butterfly to this canvas oh i found a cool picture of the ocean let's try and copy that picture to this canvas you see what i'm saying that also helps ease a lot of anxiety of like having to create good art um where it's like a direct copy it's like okay yeah it's never going to be a direct copy so like let's just do what we can setting time limits okay i have 10 minutes that's it
Starting point is 00:46:07 10 minutes to get as much as i can get on this canvas and whatever happens after 10 minutes that ain't up to me babe that is up to god and truly honestly i don't care so setting timeless is fabulous is fabulous 10 minutes 20 minutes 30 minutes 5 minutes okay doing it with your eyes closed like you have to set like arbitrary rules for yourself where you make it like kind of a fun game and that will bring the joy back into it and make as much as you possibly can oh my god this is a long one this is crazy okay so i've been mutually flirting with this bud tender at the display i pick up from a couple weeks for a couple weeks at first i noticed his head and facial tattoos hot which honestly is not typically my type but eventually developed a bit of a crush after we had a few different good side
Starting point is 00:46:51 conversations i have been waiting for him to make a move and today he finally did come to find out he's not single and is attracted to me and his girlfriend and him are exploring adding a third to the bedroom oh that was not going where i thought it was i thought he had a girlfriend and was trying to make you the secret which would have been not good, very bad. I'm bisexual and I have been wanting to explore threesome. I'm flattered and at the same time I'm worried I'm just being used. Like I want to feel like they genuinely want to get to know me as a person.
Starting point is 00:47:20 What are some things to keep in mind? I've never been in a situation before and it sounds like they are new to this too, which I can't tell if this is a red flag or something that would make us all more comfortable. Also, what if I'm not attracted to her? I'm such a girl's girl. I would feel bad. Ooh. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Well, I think it's worth exploring. Obviously, you're curious. They're curious. there's no like boundaries being broken or cross right now you're just like a what boundaries do i set be how does this go and also c am i attracted to the girlfriend you know you're attracted to the guy love it fabulous there needs to be after care there needs to be before care like don't even worry about the sex at this point let's worry about chemistry chemistry is so important for good sex and like you can just throw people in a room and assume they're going to have good sex that's not how that works you got to
Starting point is 00:48:05 build that chemistry so maybe this is what you work out to kind of feel it out before you even do any of the sexual stuff is going to date. Starting point is 00:48:48 audio ad in minutes for free. Sign up today, launch a campaign, and start reaching your audience. Going to do with both of them. Be like, you know what? I'm like super curious to see where this goes and I'd love to get to know your girlfriend a little bit more. Like maybe we can all go out and get drinks together. Maybe we can all go out to dinner. Maybe we can all go out and and do an activity together. Maybe we can all go out and do fucking mini golf. I don't know. And like vet them, vet the girlfriend,
Starting point is 00:49:18 kind of see, feel out the vibes, see if there's chemistry there. Like don't even worry about the sex part. Just like see what's going on. See if you would be interested in getting with her and him. And if it's like an equal, like yes, I want to sleep with him and also yes, I want to sleep with her equal, equal, equal.
Starting point is 00:49:36 You do not want it to be unequal in a threesome. then I would say fuck it bitch you go for it okay and have a conversation also before the sex happens of like so like what do you enjoy what do you what are your kinks what are your pleasures to both of them also share yours
Starting point is 00:49:52 so then there's like um understanding instead of like a oh I hope they know how to do this it's like no just have that conversation um and I think you're gonna have like a fun real freaked out time and I'm a little jealous but like please follow up and tell us how it goes
Starting point is 00:50:09 if it goes anywhere but like don't even worry about the sex for real seriously don't even worry about the sex worry about the chemistry go do an activity go-karting together like go do something dumb and silly and if you can all get along then like you're going to have a really fun time that's for sure oh so funny last time i was single i was in this weird like love triangle situation where well obviously i was on Tinder at the time and I had my preference open to girls and guys. And I remember I matched with this guy and then I came across this girl, but the guy was in the girl's photos and I was like, what is going on here? Eventually, you know, I matched with the girl, of course. And then they both messaged me individually. They were like, hey, we're a couple, but we're looking for a third.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Like, we're really looking to like build a relationship with a third person. Like, would that be something that you're interested in. And at the time, I was like literally interested in anything. So I was like, sure, yeah, let's fucking go for it. And we never ended up doing anything together. But I did sell them a lot of mushrooms at the time. We did do a, I gave them a lot of mushrooms. Yeah. They were a bit too hippie, dippy for me. I didn't. I felt like it was we were going to have sex and then like they were going to cuddle and I was just going to be laying alone. So I was like, actually, no, I'm just going to make a bag off of you guys. Hypothetically, if the police are listening, I don't do any of that anymore and I was underage. Like, you can't charge me for that.
Starting point is 00:51:41 Just kidding. Just kidding. But like, yeah, it was like, I was like, you know what? This is more common than I realized. And also, like, so funny, you both are on Tinder at the same time and also messaging me at the same time. But I was like, fuck it. You know, if you were in a self-exploratory period of your life, baby, just have fun, see where it goes. And don't back yourself in a corner. Just like have fun. And if you stop having fun, then disqualifying. disappear as fast as you can. Oh, how do I bring up opening my relationship with my boyfriend of three years? Dare I say maybe you should just break up with him? I know, I know I was just like, oh, three, some fun. Open relationships are difficult. And open relationships require the same amount of careful,
Starting point is 00:52:37 planning consideration boundary uses emotional wherewithal that a child also requires. Do you know what I mean? It's like having a baby, it's like that's going to take up a lot of your time, a lot of your emotional time, a lot of your like every single thought process is going to, it's going to eat up more of your emotional energy. And I feel like open relationships require that same amount of energy and like balancing of self, of others, of everybody in. involved that it's like if that is not a responsibility that you feel like you can manage,
Starting point is 00:53:12 then maybe you guys should just break up. But if that's a responsibility that you can manage and your partner can manage and you've been talking about it before or you've had a threesome before and you know you guys are very open people and this is like something that's like not new to you, then yeah, maybe yeah, bring it up. And the best way to bring it up is probably like, hey, I love you and I understand if maybe this is not something you're looking for, but I just personally feel like, oh, this is a hard conversation. Maybe you can just be like, hey, you know, I'm looking to explore different avenues and like I don't want to break your boundaries. So I just want to let you know that maybe this is
Starting point is 00:53:51 something that I'm looking for. And if that's not what you are looking for in a relationship, that's totally valid, you know, but also if that's something that you want to do, if you want to open it up, then like, let's get into it. But yeah, me personally, if my partner came up to me, me personally my partner came up to me it was like I'm opening the relationship I'd be like and I'm shutting it by literally removing you from my life expeditiously expeditiously I don't know I don't like I said I do not I that's too much balance it's too much like emotional wherewithal and balance and delicate dancing and communication I can barely do that with one person involving another or a couple more or like five or six like no i just i can't it's like i'm going to be so emotionally
Starting point is 00:54:40 exhausted i can't even and like the amount of sex you'd be having would not make up for the emotional exhaustion that i would probably feel but if your boyfriend's a square then like definitely don't bring it up to him just break up with him if he's like a freak on a leash and just like open to anything then yeah maybe have that vulnerable conversation situation situation ship wouldn't lock in I fuck someone else. All of a sudden, it's exclusive. Funny how that happens. First of all, take this to the fucking grave.
Starting point is 00:55:07 Take my word for it. Take this to the fucking grave. I love, especially in the early stages of dating where it's like, no, man, I'm just not looking for anything right now. Okay, cool. Well, I am. So I'm going to go look elsewhere. And then you're like, wait, but, wait, but, but we were serious.
Starting point is 00:55:28 I thought, baby, you never. said that ever, ever, ever to my face. And in fact, the 18 times I did bring up that I want to be serious, all of a sudden you are acting like that ever happened. All of a sudden, you're acting like, you were like, no, no, no, no, no, no, I'm never going to have a girlfriend again. Hmm. Crazy. You got to say, don't ever tell him. And I know that seems like shady and weird and fucked up, but like, hello, when you are not exclusive, whatever happens outside of that, outside of that doesn't matter. It does not matter. You are two individuals and you are doing your individual thing. Now, if now you want to be exclusive, post whatever, now is when you're like, okay, let's lock in.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Let's focus. Let's talk about boundaries. Let's talk about this. Let's talk about that. Talk about what we're looking for. Of course, exclusivity. Beautiful. Amazing. If that's something you want. But whatever happened previously, don't fucking matter. Okay. Genuinely. honestly. And that's why I don't like a situation ship. Situationhip is like so messy. It's so messy. People think like, oh, it's open and it's free. No, it's actually a hot mess fucking express because it usually is like one or two of the people involved are just like too fucking afraid to be vulnerable and say what they want. Say what you want. When you speak up for what you want, you usually get what you want or you get the answer out of that situation, which will put you on the right path. And you know what?
Starting point is 00:56:53 if your situation ship was too brave to speak up and say, yes, I want to be with you, then baby, that's their L. Now, whether you want to be exclusive now is up to you, especially when they wouldn't stand up.
Starting point is 00:57:07 But if you do want to be exclusive, like I said, take whatever the fuck happened during that exploratory period of your life to the grave, period. What are your most regretful purchases? Ooh,
Starting point is 00:57:21 I feel like I have a lot. and my most regretful purchases are usually ones that I don't even remember. Like literally, literally as fuck. Like all of my most regretful purchases are ones that it's like, why did I buy that? I didn't need it. I don't use it. I haven't touched it. I haven't blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:57:36 Okay. Most of my most regretful purchases are trending clothing items. I know. Mm-hmm. Fast fashion trending clothing items. Are they ones that I'm going to take with me to my grave? No. Are they ones that I'm going to save a hand down?
Starting point is 00:57:55 No. Are they ones that I even wear two, three times a season? Absolutely fucking not. They are usually all of my most regretful purchases. And they're all so fucking expensive. Why is it $100 for a top nowadays? That is 90% polyester. Like I'm going to lose my mind.
Starting point is 00:58:16 I'm going to lose it. So if you are like, hmm, do I buy that new trending clothing item? The answer is no. But clothing items that I don't regret purchasing, vintage, vintage designer, any sort of vintage. I don't regret it. I can always resell it. I can always like keep it around for a little bit. Eventually I'm going to learn to love it.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Maybe I donate it, whatever. But I'm not usually spending as much money on vintage items as I am on brand new ones, oddly enough. So yeah, most regretful, usually that. What else? Oh, also like trending health products. Seamoss gel. Random new pill additive. Collagen supplement.
Starting point is 00:59:03 Like, you know, you know, the random new, this is going to solve every single problem in your life. All of your health elements are magically going to be gone. If you take one bite of this magic elixir, yeah, snake oil salesman, that shit don't work. also massively regretful purchases. Do I ever keep up on them? No. Do they ever become a part of my routine? No.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Do they ever make a change in my life that is so dramatic that is like gorgeous and beautiful? No. No, they don't. Nope. Nope. Most of the big ticket purchases I make. I'm trying to think of my largest purchases. A horse, a car, flights, hotels.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Um, furniture. Those are like big ticket items. Those are things that I don't regret at all because they, if I'm spending a lot of money, I'm always thinking about it. I'm always over thinking about it if I'm being honest. Um, and yeah, I don't have any regrets on those, but small little micro purchases or fast fashion, newest trend, newest skincare trend, newest skincare trend, newest health trend, newest clothing trend.
Starting point is 01:00:14 Yeah, all of those. massively, massively, massively regretful. I'm living in a college apartment with five other girls, one that I don't know, soon with my cat. Any tips? Put an air tag on your fucking cat. That's all I'm going to say. Number one, put an air tag on your cat. You cannot trust those people to be responsible with the front door.
Starting point is 01:00:35 And that is that on that. And I don't mean to scare you. But if you have an air tag, you can track that bitch down to the exact location. How do I know this? my parents dog just ran away it's a very common occurrence but i'm watching her right now and she's like a sneaky sneaky sneaky little girl it's like i will latch every single lock every single door and all of a sudden the windows open she's gone just kidding that's a joke but i literally turned around she had taken off and i knew she was like uh she just like went around the gate in
Starting point is 01:01:04 the backyard so i knew she was in the backyard behind me but it's always nice to have like okay i know she's right there but also like let me check the air tag location and bam there she was so Yeah, air tag on that cat immediately. Talk about chores. Talk about chores before you guys all get together. Okay, listen, can we do like monthly, weekly, bi-weekly Sunday cleanups? Can we put a calendar on the fridge with everybody's schedule?
Starting point is 01:01:36 And can we schedule like maybe just like weekly cleanup sessions so the house isn't a mess? That will mitigate most of the fighting. and also having small little house rules. Like, listen, no dishes in the sink. If there's a dishwasher, put them in the dishwasher or clean the pots out immediately. Or if you're not going to clean the pots out immediately, at least have it done by the end of the day. Period point blank.
Starting point is 01:01:59 That's going to mitigate a lot of the fighting. Okay? I feel like always with roommates, the fighting is over. You use my dishes but didn't clean them. You dirty dishes but left them in the sink for this much time. You bought groceries, but you left them in the fridge. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's always what the fighting is about.
Starting point is 01:02:15 So just go ahead and have that conversation right away. It will make things much easier. And have this conversation over a bottle of wine and some pizza with a movie on. Like very chill, face masks on. Like get excited about the future. Don't get too crazy with it. A schedule so you guys know what's going on would be really, really nice. Especially with that many people just put on the fridge,
Starting point is 01:02:34 a little whiteboard schedule. Maybe you guys rotate chores. Like, okay. This week is this girl's turn. Next week it's this girl's turn to vacuum to do this, to do that. whatever over communicate rather than under communicate, but do not nag. Like sometimes over communicating is really just nagging where you're like, you left one singular piece of cereal on the kitchen counter and we agreed to this and
Starting point is 01:02:57 blah, blah, it's like, okay, it's literally one singular piece of cereal. Like no one gives a fuck. But also like if it's a serious thing that's come up every single time, then yeah, have that conversation that will very much so help and make your room a safe space. like really deck out your room put some cute posters up get some cute bedding make it cozy make it comfortable get a cat tree make it fun i think if we do all of those things you're going to have a blast and you're going to have a really good time most of the people i know who had like a college house had like the best time ever but you have to be willing to sit in the living room sometimes
Starting point is 01:03:34 plan little fun events hey i bought facemass let's all do face masks tonight to come out of your room to communicate, to talk, to gab, to yap. And if you do all those things, I think you're going to have a fabulous time. I'm 25 and I feel like I'm running out of time. I don't know what to do with my life. Ooh, you know what? This is just your late 20s.
Starting point is 01:03:54 This really is just your late 20s. Bitch, I'm 27 and I'm like, I'm scared. But like, I think once I hit 30, it's going to be like, freedom. Truly, it's going to be like a sigh of relief. So I'm accepting, once again, energy, suspended in Jello. I'm accepting that the end the your late 20s are just like unnecessarily stressful for literally no fucking reason but then like your 30s are like
Starting point is 01:04:18 you're literally like reborn again and that is so exciting like your 30s or your new 20s if I'm being honest and I truly cannot wait I'm trying not to trust myself out too much while I'm literally young like so young like 25 you are so young 27 so young we are children and just kidding, but like in the grand scheme of things, we are still very, very young. So like, don't take it too seriously. Of course, you're behind. Everybody's behind at this age. No one knows what's going on.
Starting point is 01:04:47 Everybody's just trying to figure it out. And some people are better at faking it than others. But in reality, like, no one has it figured out perfectly unless their parents handed them their life on a silver platter. That's one thing. But if you're an average adult, average human, average person in your late 20s and you're like, I'm doing everything wrong, everything's going wrong. I'm not where he's supposed to be.
Starting point is 01:05:06 I didn't do this. I didn't achieve that dream, baby there is still plenty of time. Don't stress yourself out because if you stress yourself out, you're not going to run towards it, except the situation for what it is. There's freedom and being like, you know what? Yes, I am not where I want to be. But next year, I might be. If I take the time to plan and move forward accordingly and to think ahead and to put my dreams and my desires in front of me and run blindly towards them, then you will be there. There's still plenty of time, baby girl. Do not show. stress yourself out, okay? We're too young and too hot to be this stress. Choosing between two good,
Starting point is 01:05:43 but totally different places slash lives. I keep hoping I'll feel sure. I've been feeling this way lately too, because it's like, I know I need to move. I'm definitely moving soon. But also like there's like, there's two wolves inside me. One of them is like, okay, maybe I will stay in Kansas City and I'll buy a house in the country and I'll have a horse and a pasture, blah, blah, blah, blah. There's that side of me. There's also a side of me. It's like maybe, but then also I want to live in California. I want to live in California somewhere. I don't know if it's L.A. I don't know if it's Santa Barbara.
Starting point is 01:06:10 I don't know if it's San Diego. I don't know if it's San Luis Obispo. I don't know if it's way, way north. Like San Francisco. Who freaking knows? But like that's also a dream of mine. Like that's a beautiful life. Maybe I want to go there.
Starting point is 01:06:22 And then also the side of me that's like, but maybe I want to go to Austin, Texas. Like it has like the cowboy culture that I do really, really love. And, you know, the warm weather and Texas is a little scary, but also like Austin, not so scary. You know, I have friends there. there's like so many lives in front of me so many options in front of me and all of them beautiful gorgeous amazing sexy fun brilliant but it's like how do you pick when they're all good a lot in the fear a lot of the fear of choosing is just feeling like you're going to be unsatisfied but truly honestly no matter where you go you're probably going to be so incredibly satisfied
Starting point is 01:07:00 you really just have to make peace with that unlived life you're like well how do i make peace the unlived life like I'm always going to fantasize about it. I'm always going to think about it, blah, blah, blah, blah. Because if you choose one and it goes to shit, that other option is always there. Baby, that's your backup plan. Okay, you're like, but how do I pick? Okay, pros and cons. Let's think it out. Get real. Let's talk finances. Let's talk happiness. Let's talk desires. Let's talk needs. Let's talk once. Let's make sure it checks at least 80% of the boxes. Okay. But if you end up, a lot of features. A lot of fear in making choices is making the wrong choice. There's no such thing as the wrong choice because there are more options in the future. And if you happen to pick one and it happens to go to shit
Starting point is 01:07:47 and everything goes wrong and the world fucking explodes and you fall flat on your face, there is always the other option that you didn't pick, period. And sometimes the only way to find out, okay, there's two doors in front of you. You've no idea what's behind either door. the only way to find out is to open one of those doors. See what it is. See how it is. If you need to like microdose what it's going to be like in that place, go there for a week. Sublet for a month.
Starting point is 01:08:15 Go there, go check it out. You're not a tourist. Pretend you live there, have been living there for years and years and years and years. See how you feel. See how your soul feels. See if it makes sense for you to buy an $18 ice latte every single day in L.A. or if you like your $6 chill latte in Austin, Texas, you know what I mean? Like there's so many different options out there, but they're all beautiful because you made them beautiful and they will all be waiting for you if something goes wrong.
Starting point is 01:08:44 All right. And I think that's so beautiful. Like I really, really struggled like, am I going to stay in Kansas City? Am I going to move? Am I going to go to California? Where am I going in California? Maybe I should go to Texas. It's cheaper in Texas.
Starting point is 01:08:56 You know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I had to stop it. and go, you know what, we know what we want. I want to go to California. Maybe not exactly where or how or blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We'll figure those out in the future. But if that all goes to absolute, if it's just a fucking mess, if it doesn't work, if I struggle, if I'm not happy, I always have another option of going to us in Texas
Starting point is 01:09:21 or coming back home. And both of those places are beautiful and wonderful and amazing and brilliant. And there is like a peace in that, an air of peace in making peace with your unlived life of knowing that there might be another opportunity in the future to experience and to live it. But you must follow whatever is calling to you first. And then if that goes wrong, you can always fall back on these. And I know you know what's calling to you. I know you know like one of them you fantasize a little bit more about. That's the one you run to and you have the other ones as backup safe.
Starting point is 01:09:58 options just in case things go wrong. You know, I always love a backup plan. Always love a backup plan. I need to know where the exit is. I need to know how I'm leaving. I need to know where I'm going. Always. And also like maybe your unlived lives are just like future excursions and future lives that
Starting point is 01:10:14 you're going to live down the road. And that's why they're so clear in your head and make so much sense. But right now you have to follow where your heart lies, where that passion lies, where that fantasy lies. That's what you're supposed to be doing now. Maybe one day I'm supposed to live in Austin, Texas, but maybe it's when I'm 50. Maybe I'm supposed to come home back at some point in time. Maybe that's when I'm 80.
Starting point is 01:10:33 Maybe it's when I'm 30. Who knows? That's not for me to know now. Life is not for us to figure out. It's for us to live and experience and enjoy. And that's all of the wisdom I can really give you on that because I have been trying to figure it out, figure it out, figure it out, figure it out for a long time now,
Starting point is 01:10:53 like way too long. Like literally like agonizing over ideas. when baby you need to be active you need to be in the field you need to be living and experiencing and trying and trusting and you will have a much more fulfilling life if you act and follow through on your passions than if you sit and you think i promise you that having more romance in life um uh the like the end of summer like there's this sweetness to the end of summer and i know it's the of summer because I'm waking up in the morning and it's not 150 degrees outside and the leaves are changing colors and there's a chill in the air that is like so beautiful and so crisp and so
Starting point is 01:11:34 just like tasty it's like wonderful two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer that's why every step and dollar raised matters on september 19th join thousands in Toronto for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Walk. Register today at pmcf walk.ca.ca. Everything is romantic if you seek it out. Like, even, like, spilled coffee on the floor can be romantic if you seek it out.
Starting point is 01:12:17 The mundane can be romantic if you seek it out. It's just like what perception are you going to look at it through? I have someone in my life that's like a very, very, very, very negative person, very negative person. And we will go through the exact same experience together. And they will go, well, I can't believe this and I can't believe that. And this went wrong and that went wrong. And my day's ruined. And I'll go, wow, I actually really enjoyed this person I ran into.
Starting point is 01:12:47 And, you know, I saw some graffiti in the sidewalk that made me some, and oh but I saw this and that and our perceptions can be two vastly different perceptions even though we went through the same fucking thing but they're always looking for negative negative negative negative negative negative negative negative negative and I am always seeking the positive and it makes our lives to very very different experiences and dare I say mine's better because I'm just like I'm trying to seek the positive I am and it is like actually the only thing that keeps me from being suicidal is being like okay well let's look at the positive let's find it wherever we can but like there's so much beauty in this world. Yes, there's a lot of negativity if you look for it, but also like there's so much beauty. And if you stop and you slow down and you simply just like stare at a tree for a little bit, you will realize how connected everything is,
Starting point is 01:13:37 how beautiful everything is and how romantic everything is. But when everything's moving so fast pace, when you're on the phone too much, when you're constantly thinking about discourse, when you're constantly thinking about like who's being attacked to next and this negative thing and that negative thing like of course your perception on reality is going to be very very negative but if you pause and slow down and get to the natural nature of it all you will realize how gorgeous and amazing and beautiful everything is honestly honestly like the leaves are changing colors
Starting point is 01:14:07 even feeling that crisp air in your lungs in the morning uh seeing the seeing a singular leaf fall off a tree and then when it's like in the middle of fall and all the leaves are just like like raining down from the sky. It's so beautiful. The colors they change, the bright orange, the fire that the leaves turn to. Amazing. Being able to actually get outside and not sweat your balls off. So gorgeous.
Starting point is 01:14:33 Being able to enjoy a good patio. Oh my God. Go out to dinner. Good patio session. Like there is nothing better. But you must romance life in order to receive the romantic. It's an energy. exchange. You always must romance, even people, places, things in order to receive the romantic.
Starting point is 01:14:55 The energy you put out is the energy you receive. And if you approach life with this air of love and kindness and gratitude, life will usually approach you back that way. Maybe not 100%. Okay. Like a boyfriend, you're going to fight with them every once in a while. Life is like that too. They're going to challenge you every once in a while. But a majority of it will be really beautiful and wonderful and amazing and gorgeous. Like the things I really look forward to, right now are like patios uh like sitting on the patio in the morning with my cat with a good cup of coffee watching the hummingbirds are migrating right now come to my hummingbird feeder and like there's hundreds of them there's so many just like enjoying the hummingbird feeder seeing all the butterflies flying around right now
Starting point is 01:15:36 as they migrate as well looking at the trees drives through the country hanging out with my horse small little thunderstorms crispness in the air it's about to be apple season I'm going to be baking, cinnamon rolls, apples, strudels. Ooh, pot roast. It's going to be winter. I'm going to be eaten soup. It's going to be just like so fabulous. And I truly cannot wait.
Starting point is 01:16:00 And yeah, I could look at winter. I could look at fall and go, oh no, no, no. Not again, not again. This is going to be horrible. This is going to be awful. And guess what? I'm going to have a horrible, awful time. But if I go, you know what?
Starting point is 01:16:14 This is gorgeous and this is beautiful. And these are just the seasons of life. And I get to experience them and live alongside them. then my experience is going to be much, much different. And I hope you have a romantic experience with life. But yeah, you must romance it. Without being said, we didn't have any call-ins this week, so I do apologize. But I'd love to hear your voice.

Patreon.com slash smokes a shoddy full moon lunar eclipse coming this week. The write-up will be up there. Plus, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much more fun things. But with that being said, I love you all so much. I hope you take one singular moment today to appreciate life and to appreciate what is around us
Starting point is 01:17:24 to savor and indulge and romanticize life. That is your homework for the week. If you feel like things are not progressing at a rate that you desire, that is okay. That is just an eclipse season lesson to wait and be patient and to just feel and sit and be aware of things. Also, if you're becoming aware of things, you're becoming aware of them for a reason. release let go move on thus is life but with that being said stay same stays sexy and i'll see you all so soon two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer that's why every step and dollar raised matters on september 19th join thousands in toronto for the princess margaret cancer
