listen everybody needs a fairy godmother you know just somebody to look out for them some people
call me their fairy smoke mother others their internet big sister but you can call me hannah
the host of smoke sash so come hang out let's light up and talk everything there is to life
the good the bad the ugly the embarrassing i've got a story for it all
hello hotties of the world and welcome back to another wonderful episode of smoke sesh my name
is hannah your host and i am oh so excited to be back with you guys in this beautiful spring that
we are having today i feel like the past i don't know 18 goddamn episodes not really but that's
how it feels in my brain it's been and thank god i'm not complaining here just beautiful wonderful
springtime days so i feel like i really always start off hyping up that energy and hyping up
that springtime energy hopefully i can transfer my excitedness into your brain that's truly and
ultimately always the goal i had a perfect monday per usual woke up early went to horseback riding
lessons and had a fantastic time she put me on a new horse that's a bit more challenging
and had me just kind of you know regain my balance regain control and it was just fantastic it was
amazing the flowers are blooming there's so many just even like um dandelions and the trees are
blooming uh it is just truly gorgeous to see the earth come back to life really reminds you
oh yeah winter time it was worth it it was worth it going through the pain and the suffering
it's always worth it and even they the person who owns the ranch pulled me aside she's like hey
we have this horse who we're gonna maybe sell but would rather not you know like of course the goal
once you get a horse is to keep it but they do a lot of trail rides and they do a lot of personal
lessons and this horse is just not good for either of those things um I mean good for lessons but not
good for trail rides which is what they mainly use them for she just is a bit too she needs her
bubble she needs her space she needs her bubble so when other is a horse in front of her and a
horse behind her on the trail she's like not having it so they're like if you want to lease
her if you want to you know lease a horse if you want to have your own horse which leasing would
be my ultimate goal of course owning a horse would be fantastic but leasing would be great
because then I'm not like liable for vet bills I'm pretty much just paying to be able to stop by
and work with her whenever I want and also just to get more experience under my belt so it's
something that I'm seriously considering I'm gonna have a date with her next week just to kind of see
it and feel it out and see if we can like match vibes but it is so exciting seeing how far I've
come since what was it September I started late August basically early September of last year
having literally never been on a horse I'm not kidding maybe been on a horse like a state fair
when it's like oh silly you're an eight-year-old let me put you on this horse and take a photo and
immediately take you off I had been on a mule before when we had ridden into the Grand Canyon
and then a couple trail rides like literally a month before that and I just got hooked but it
is just so nice seeing how far I've come because since September and now it's like what nine months
later and the owner of this horse trusts me fully and completely to possibly lease this horse out to
me it just it's such a confidence booster it really is it gets me excited about life it gets
me excited to try new things and honestly if I can encourage any of you guys to start something new
to try a new hobby you will never regret it you will never regret it I'm not kidding you will have
ups and downs you'll have good lessons you'll have bad lessons you know maybe you'll try knitting and
you'll realize oh fuck I fucked up this row you'll get frustrated but you will power through you will
get to the end of the project you will you know turn back and look at time and go wow look at how
much I have grown and I think it's so important to do that as an adult because as a child we're
seeing that all the time you know you graduate out of one class you get to the new the next one
every single year you go through that you graduate out of this soccer league and you're moved into
you know varsity soccer you are in a easy art class and then you're moved into a more advanced
art class you're in the easy music class and you're advanced into a more difficult art class
the progression of growing is natural when you're a child because that is what you're supposed to
be doing even as a teen the progression of growing is pretty quick and fast paced think about who you
were as a freshman versus a senior it's a big jump in time and you learn so many new things during
that time but then we hit the adult phase which I they obviously they don't really want us to grow
or they don't give us a lot of opportunities to grow as an adult um you know society in general
they kind of want you to just stay who you are and be in that bubble and be in that routine until
you die which is absolutely bonkers love that shit drives me mad I think it's so important as
an individual to challenge yourself to try new things to put yourself out there to pick up a
class to pick up a hobby and see how far you can grow just in that short amount of time and realize
damn progression is amazing challenging myself is amazing it just makes me feel so much more
in tune and confident in myself and it makes me want to get out there and do other things as well
things that I never thought were possible because did I think I would be able to go out into the
pasture wrangle a horse get on it saddle up know how to take care of it know how to also control
it when it's throwing a fit know how to trot know how to cancer know how to do all of those things
no no i did not think that i didn't know that was in the cards for me if i'm being honest
but one day i really was just like fuck it we're just gonna do it and i am so glad that i just put
myself out there and tried it truly is always worth at least trying please follow your heart
do something that challenges you it is always so rewarding so that was a really beautiful fun
morning this morning just getting out into the country getting into the sunshine waking up my
mind waking up my body and now I am here with you all red bull in hand best believe because I'm a
bit loopy if I'm being honest today's a busy day it's a fantastic day it's a busy day Mondays are
probably one of my favorite days even though you're listening to this definitely not on Monday
I have horseback riding I hang out with you guys I usually get my cleaning done in my house and
then this afternoon slash evening I'm going to see the drama I have not been to the theater in
quite some time even though it is by far one of my favorite activities to do one of my favorite
things to do especially if you're like if you need some escapism I was going through the questions
earlier and someone asked I have agoraphobia like I it's it's really challenging for me to leave the
house valid real okay especially post-covid of course you're more comfortable inside after having
to be inside for so long if you need something to do outside of the house that is low stress
you're also surrounded by other awkward introverted individuals and you really don't have to speak or
talk to anybody at all go to the movie theater oh my god it is great as a dissociative lover i love
any sort of activity that lets me healthily sometimes unhealthily it's why i love my weed
dissociate the movie theater is amazing it's amazing it's fantastic and i'm so excited to go
i love talking to the awkward ticket people and then getting a jumbo large jumbo extra butter
popcorn bucket and a diet coke slushie and dissociating for two hours and losing myself
in a movie i also have to go see the drama asap usually i wait a little bit but i'm it's gonna
get spoiled for me it's gonna get spoiled for me i love zendaya she is everything to me i'm excited
to see what the drama is about no i won't spoil it for you don't worry but if you want to see how
i feel about it go follow me on letterboxd i don't know if you guys use letterboxd i've become
obsessed with letterboxd recently my letterboxd username is smoke sash one word if you want to
see how i review it if not i'll update you guys next week but i'm very excited today's like my
perfect day horseback riding hanging out with you guys chilling for a second then going to the movie
theaters truly that is peak living right there someone else also asked me how i feel about the
new spring edition red bulls in my hand honestly fire the new ones if you are a red bull connoisseur
like i am i started drinking red bulls at the age of i don't know eight just kidding i don't
think they existed then but i started drinking them so early definitely in high school i would
wake up bro high school what was i doing i would wake up in the morning keep in mind 6 30 a.m me
and my best friend who lived next door would get in her car we'd go to sonic we i would get a back
in the day when they had the toasted oh god these are so fucking good french toast toasted scramble
sandwiches yeah sounds as amazing as i said side of hash browns and then they had red bull like
floats red bull slushies why was i ingesting all of that before 8 a.m god knows why but i love a
red bull i love a pomegranate red bull their peak that's the best in my opinion and they simply
don't exist anymore so i've always been chasing that high the new one is cherry sakura sakura
and it is fantastic love it usually cherry sometimes sometimes cherry is giving medicine
sometimes cherry is giving i'm gonna vomit on the floor right now all of the red dye 40 in this can
nope this is giving like tart sweet tart cherry almost like um the same kind of cherry that would
be in a jolly rancher oh it's so good highly recommend going and trying one if you need one
lord knows i do if also you want to see or try some new fun drink combos i've been getting into
like a tea mood a tea vibe a refresher vibe especially with it heating up outside and as
we go into the summer I love a good fun silly drink so I just posted literally seconds ago
a creamy hibiscus refresher recipe if you want to try that it's up on my instagram at hannah
marlene I also made for easter for my family I made funnel cake bites they were supposed to be
blueberry funnel cake bites it kind of just turned into regular funnel cake bites fantastic that will
be up at the end of this week i also have been getting into the springtime mood by doing a lot
of planting in my house i just put together a bunch a bunch a bunch a bunch of herb pots i have
like a tea herb pot and a savory herb pot and a kitchen counter herb pot so i can just like grab
from them and use them it's a great time to get your hands in the dirt and to enjoy spring by
you know working with the plants i actually filmed that as a vlog that is up on youtube that was my
weekly vlog at hannahmarlene444 i have no clue what i'm doing this week but hopefully i get one
up if you guys have any vlog requests let me know down below but it's always a good time hanging out
with you guys and getting creative and sharing it truly is just so much fun like you think i'm
doing this for money no this is like my hobby i just genuinely enjoy creating and having a fun
silly time on the internet internet like who who doesn't you know i hope you guys had a wonderful
Easter or non-denominational celebration whatever you're into we don't really celebrate Easter but
we still get together use it as an excuse to see the family so we had like prime rib and roasted
potatoes and green beans and then we built a fire in the backyard and just hung out and drank
strawberry margaritas it was pretty good I know my parents miss me as I get older and I'm kind of
like busy with life hello so it's nice to make time for them and hang out with them because oh
I could only imagine like kids stress you out and then it's like oh they're disappeared they
disappeared they disappeared they're gone and now I miss them so I'm trying to do my daughterly
duties by going over and seeing them as often as I can which is usually once a week and my
granddaughter duties by taking my grandma out to lunch this week I just have been meaning to do
that and anything that can get her out of the house because I know she goes stir crazy being
inside she can't drive anymore she's too old and she loves sushi and her husband refuses to eat
sushi with her because he's boring as fuck so i'm like let me come save you let me get you out of
the house because if i was 84 she literally turned 84 and all i wanted was sushi and i couldn't drive
and i couldn't leave my husband doesn't like sushi and i have to cook him steak every single night
i actually might commit murder so for her sanity and for my future sanity so then i earn good karma
points i'm taking her out to lunch it'll be so nice but we have a busy week it'll be beautiful
it'll be wonderful i'm very excited for the energy going into this season and just trying to stay up
up up and add it as we manage through spring but enough of me yapping because you guys know i do
So honestly, enough of that. We are going to get right into all of your guys's questions. All right, girl, how do I deal with resentment? Oh, I want to let it go. But I keep reminding myself. Resentment is tricky. Resentment is tricky because resentment is kind of so like we've talked about transmuting emotions, right?
where there is like um you can take a certain emotion and kind of process it into then another
emotion which is usually processing a negative one into a more positive one I think resentment
is kind of just a it's like a telling emotion so there's no processing you can really do because
ultimately resentment is just frustration. It's disappointment. It is the feeling of maybe like
abandoning yourself or someone else abandoning you. It's the feeling that something is not going
quite right. And there's nothing you can really do about that feeling other than look at what
that is occurring in and what situation and then change the situation. I dealt with resentment
before actually I've dealt with resentment a lot because especially as a child I think you probably
build up a lot of resentment depending on your situation because you don't have control of your
life so the situations that you're put in are kind of at other people's whims and you can very easily
build up resentment because it's like damn I didn't have a choice and you did a b c or d and
that can be really frustrating I'm sure people build up resentment a lot with their parents
and I understand if you build up resentment so much so with your parents or with people in your
life that you're like i literally want nothing to do with you um that was something that i had
to work on with myself which was like the resentment that i felt was just me being out of
control so me taking back control was me just like learning how to be an adult and enjoy time alone
and do the things that i wanted to do as a child now as an adult so i didn't feel that like oh i'm
missing out or oh i wasn't loved or oh this or that i can give that to myself now but if you're
in a relationship or you're in a friendship currently and you're feeling that resentment
i don't think there's much processing you can do other than going i feel bad about this thing
and either a i change my situation up i tell them about it or i leave that's kind of what you gotta
do with resentment where it's like if you are frustrated by something somebody is doing you
tell them about it first if they're just like this is just who I am then you also have a option to
not deal with that and leave and then not feel resentment I'm not really usually pro leaving
but I do think if you're feeling a lot of resentment in a situation it's probably because
you're not supposed to be in that situation you don't feel loved you don't feel appreciated you
don't feel thought of you don't feel cared for and thus the resentment builds of course you want
to have these conversations before you feel resentment because i think before resentment
there is frustration there is anger there is disappointment when you are feeling those
emotions with somebody i think it's okay to have a conversation especially if you see it reoccurring
but also it's like sometimes you can't change people and if they're continuously pissing you
the fuck off maybe you shouldn't be around them period point blank you know you don't have to
continuously be mad because you're familiar with the madness you're familiar with being upset by
this person you can choose to just not be around them and then not have to experience that emotion
you know i was kind of a slave to the idea that like oh this person's making me feel this way but
it's my fault it's my fault not not that they have to change i need to deal with this emotion
and process it and let go i need to let go and be a free spirit and just let them do whatever the
fuck uh no actually babe you're pissed off for a reason you're upset for a reason and you're mad
for a reason and it's probably because there's a dumb ass in front of you that does not need to be
in front of you do you know what i mean you know what i mean communication number one if you're
ever upset with somebody just communicate it out to the best of your ability kind compassionate
it calmly but also it's like some people just won't change and they will continuously piss you
off because they love doing it and those are people that you really just don't need to be
around or have in your life because holding resentment for somebody will never create
a positive relationship with them and I fear once you have resentment it's kind of an end of the
road vibe where it's like well I either need to pack my fucking bags or continue being depressed
and sad and me i'm gonna pack my fucking bags and go i'm gonna run and fly and hop and skip away
that's for sure oh my god i'm not laughing at you because this is so real i want to go to a yoga
class but i queef a lot during yoga advice um actually yes i do have advice because can i be
honest with you guys i'm a queefer i'm a queefer she's you know we got muscles down there don't
you worry but also it's like i'm a quiefer like it just happens it just happens i think some people
are more naturally um preconditioned to it than others and i don't really know what it is could
it be how you're built sure whatever i think most most importantly has to do with the muscles down
there okay and when you're in doggy or you got your ass in the fucking air it's hard to you know
control the muscles that you got going on down there when there's also so many other muscles
that are going on have i heard people cleats in my in my yoga class yes absolutely have i heard
people fart in my yoga class uh yes absolutely i go to yoga with old people i don't do fun sexy
hot yoga with hot individuals no my yoga class is dare i say 60 plus uh and there's like 25 of them
in there they could absolutely care less they could care less i could vomit on the floor mid
mid vinyasa and they'd be like are you okay all right cool i'm gonna keep flowing now like they
truly don't give a fuck and i think it's so nice to be around that mentality because as somebody
who's very self-conscious being around others who aren't self-conscious teaches me how to like view
myself in different ways that are probably more healthy because they're old and being old is a
blessing because you've gone through all those self-conscious feelings before and realized wow
it really doesn't fucking matter these people do not care so if you are being not that you should
be like tooting and booting and scooting in your yoga class but if you let out a little one if it
happens if you slip up that should not be something that anybody else around you around you causes
issues about at all sure in your head you're going to be like oh fuck i just queefed ah you
know like of course there's that slight panic when you have bodily functions you weren't expecting
but but dare i say yoga should be a safe space and of course your bodies are going to do weird
things your joints are going to crack you're going to let out odd moans or groans you might
queef who knows and you should be in an environment that's like truly does not care I think that's
very important especially in that space now when it comes to like managing it like I said it's about
the muscles that you're using down there you can avoid a queef by contracting and holding those
muscles whenever you're going into downward dog or whenever you kind of like have your lower body
higher than your head because i have a feeling that's probably when it's happening but also if
you realize oh you know i do this more often in this position maybe do a little yoga flow session
at home and like figure out what positions really kind of trigger it and then like um adjust
accordingly you know um modify to however makes you feel comfortable and you feel good in your
body if you're trying to avoid that then you know instead of downward dogging as hard as you can
maybe you do like a very simple kind plank where your ass is just a little bit up but not too much
the problem isn't that your body's doing it because this is something that's very natural
very natural very real i mean you see the girls who can like queef on command genuinely impressive
like it's all about muscle movement that really is all it's about and i do think if you contract
and hold those muscles down there I can't tell you which ones but I'm sure you know what I'm
talking about then it'll help you'll just have to be more aware of the muscles you're engaging with
um I also find what we can talk about queefing let's go ahead and get into it 30 minutes into
the fucking podcast love it okay so um if you're ever in a position okay doggy if you're in
doggy and yoga if you're whatever it is whatever it is i have found that when i engage my abs
like if i'm if i'm clenching my abs it loosens things up down there so when i am getting railed
from behind so to say i am very cognizant just for comfortability purposes i don't give a fuck
if i queef during sex because hello you are nine inches inside of me that's a joke but like
practically two and five canadians will hear the words you have cancer that's why every step and
dollar raised matters on september 19th join thousands in toronto for the princess margaret

uh hell there's gonna be some air that gets in there um like the more loose okay unclenched
relaxed comfortable that i am in that position not only the less i queef but also the better
arch you have i can practically like bend myself in half and the more comfortable it is because
sometimes when i'm getting railed from behind it's like okay you might break my spine in half
no offense and i've realized it's because i'm just i'm tightening all those muscles my ab muscles
my pussy muscles my ass muscles like i'm just i'm tight you gotta release relax lean into it
but yeah when it comes to yoga maybe clench down there and that'll help and also like if there's
just certain positions that you're like more prone to having this occur in just be aware of it i
don't think we should ever be ashamed of what our body does do i think it's nasty and disgusting
when people like purposely lift a leg and fart in public or spit on the ground or burp loudly
yeah I do but when it comes to things it's like you can't control especially in a yoga environment
where you're like maneuvering your body in crazy fucking ways of course that's gonna have like
random repercussions and if it is a little toot and a boot and a queef here and there then it is
what it is you know what I mean if a girl queef next to me I think I would just continue doing
everything that I had been doing because I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable
period point blank once you do yoga around grandmas and grandpas you'll realize there's
there's not much you're supposed to take serious other than do you feel good does your body feel
good is it a good stretch are you engaging the muscles you need to engage that's what you should
be focusing on tips for adhd slash anxiety i know the things i have to do but executing tasks
feels like a i think they were said roadblock but it got cut off okay so i i have had adhd my entire
life have i been diagnosed with it no absolutely not actually yes by many therapists but not by
any psychiatrist because i was only tested for adhd once and it was not me immediately forgetting
exactly um the way they were testing me for adhd i don't think the test was conductive of like
something that would really represent um my adhd and my inability to complete or understand tasks
because the test that they gave me i was like 14 it was like okay i'm gonna put a multiple choice
test in front of you about random information it doesn't matter if you get it right just fill in
the bubbles and get it done and i'm gonna watch you do it and it's like okay motherfucker i'm
gonna fill in the bubbles and get it done and hand it over to you like i don't give a fuck like
okay and the way that adhd shows up in women is much different than the way adhd shows up in men
so bitch i passed that test with flying colors they're like you do not have adhd but you look
at my dad with severe adhd my brother with severe adhd both of them so much so that they had to be
on medication my mom with adhd my grandmother with adhd i don't know about the other two because
i doubt they believed in mental health uh like yes i have it obviously i know how genes work
i know that shit gets passed down and also the same weird things that my dad does or my mom does
i also do so it's not necessarily something that i've been diagnosed with but i do know i absolutely
have it. And so I have to figure out how to work with it or around it, especially being an adult
who does their own business, who has to plan their own days, who has to create their own schedule
and actually follow through on it. Like there's no manager here. I am owner, operator, manager,
fulfillment ship i'm everything i'm everything so i have to be very very cognizant about how i
structure myself how i go about my days and how i function so i'm actually able to be a successful
individual um it would be so much easier if i had a manager to tell me what to do are you kidding me
life would be an easy beasy beautiful cover girl like it would be amazing but no i have to kind of
do that for myself so here are like the key things that I do that really make me a productive and
successful person um as an entrepreneur as a business owner okay business owner I'm making
up that word practically though I don't have an LLC but I probably need to get one um and as an
individual who works for themselves number one all of your tasks all of the things the big things
i'm talking chores i'm talking running errands i'm talking zoom calls i'm talking anything that
feels big and daunting dentist i just went to the dentist i just had like four fillings done oh my
freaking god i just had you know horseback riding any of those things they have to be done before
the time of 3 p.m there is something about 3 p.m where my brain hits a spot where I just like
I go non-verbal I can't do anything I can like maybe do laundry or dishes if I'm gonna be
actually productive but there's something about post lunch post eight doses of caffeine 3 p.m
and afterwards where i just can't fucking get anything done so i am aware of how my body
operates and how my brain operates and i schedule around that you got to work with it okay you can't
fight it you can't be like well i'm gonna learn to love 4 p.m dentist visits it's like no bitch
you're not because you got to eat dinner after that and it's gonna suck like just do it in the
morning yes getting up early is hard yes getting up early sucks when my alarm went off for 7 30
this morning so i could be at the ranch at nine was i like i would rather go back to bed yes
absolutely but i would rather wake up early and get my shit done and have the afternoon and evening
to chill and relax then have the entire fucking day be stressful and that means sometimes kind
of jam packing my morning full of a lot of things all right the mornings are fantastic do your chores
in the morning do your errands in the morning do your any appointments anything that you can
in the morning or early afternoon it's the best time to do it your zoom calls just so you are
cognizant you're aware you're getting them done you feel like you're progressing through the day
and not having to wait around for something now how do you know which tasks you need to do
but you need a planner you need a planner you need colored pens you need a planner that has
your weeks in it blank pages and your month my favorite planner ever i talk about this all the
time i've used four of these planners so for four years of using the same planner it's by paperage
you can get on amazon i swear to god it's like nine dollars it is so good every single week is
organized and then has a blank page so if you need to like write down notes or write down a to-do
list you can do it there you don't have to have two separate journals to write these things out
you have your monthly calendar and so you could plan and organize accordingly i use colored pens
each color on each pen represents a different thing so it's like okay this color represents
content i gotta do this color represents like um any sort of like big important meetings or things
i have going on this color represents uh personal activities things that represent that are like
good for my soul this color represents the podcast this color represents this so when i'm organizing
it's not just like one page of one color my brain really can't compartmentalize and understand that
when it's different colors it feels like chunked up better it feels more manageable and it has me
able to organize and focus in a little bit better crossing things off of that fucking planner too
off of my to-do list so good so great I use my planner in the morning as soon as I get up I
check what I need to do I fill in the days if there's something I didn't do the day before you
know I allocate it to a different day and then I check it after lunch and I cross off all the
things that I've been doing there is truly nothing more satisfying to my brain than crossing off
something on my to-do list but if you have ADHD and you're coming up with this mental to-do list
that you're supposed to just be focusing on and understanding that's not going to work you're not
going to be able to remember it all you're going to forget something or you're just going to
completely ignore it because it only exists in your head when it's on paper it feels a little
bit more real feels a little bit more you know okay in the world I need to do it your phone's
not gonna work phone does not work I cannot have a planner on my phone I cannot have a to-do list
on my phone I can barely have a grocery list on my phone because guess what the phone does the
phone distracts us when we open the phone to do work uh-oh now I want to go scroll on tumblr on
pinterest on tiktok I want to go all of a sudden it's been two hours and you've got nothing done
because the goddamn phone put the phone down do your to-do list on paper do your planner on paper
in front of you so you have it physically okay routines are going to be very important this is
why i talk about routines all the time morning routines so you know what's going on okay so you
don't have to wake up and figure it out every single day it's like no i really don't have to
think because i know exactly what my routine should be afternoon routines whether it's just
like the same lunch you eat every day or you know just like that 10 to 15 minutes you get to yourself
to chill for a second evening routines where you're able to accomplish what you need to accomplish so
you feel like the day isn't getting ahead of you even just like weekly routines such as like i
always get groceries on sundays i always go to horseback riding on mondays my yoga is always
Tuesday and Thursday I work at this place on Fridays and Saturday like you have to have your
weekly routines and know what to expect and also your daily routines and know what to expect so
then your brain's preoccupied with the things that it actually should be preoccupied with such as
okay let me think about my meeting I got going on later today let me see what else I can fit in and
do maybe I can get some laundry done maybe I can do this maybe I can do that and you're not so
overwhelmed all the time with trying to figure it out and then cognitive dysfunction when you
get overwhelmed ultimately and then just completely sit down and dissociate for about 12 hours oh no
no no it's not gonna work it's not gonna work you have to work with your brain having ADHD and
depression has probably made me understand my brain more than anything else because I used to
fight it I used to fight it a lot I used to be like no I don't I should be able to just do it
this way or I should be able to feel this way and it's like bitch you weren't built that way
you weren't built that way and it's okay we love you you're special just as you are all right you're
beautiful you're wonderful you're incredible but you ain't normal that's for sure that's for sure
so we're gonna have to do things in a very unnormal unnormal way in a normal manner but
it'll make you feel normal which is important another odd or weird thing is putting on my
shoes to get stuff done I have a house shoes and if I'm doing chores in the house throwing on my
slippers in the morning I don't know what it is it makes me feel like like I'm ready to go and I
get more stuff done if I'm wearing my house slippers in the house while doing things when
the toes are out that's for like cozy time you know what I mean I also have this horrible habit
of running late to things because I'm like I plan to leave at a good time but then the time I'm
supposed to be leaving I go oh fuck but I forgot this this this and this so knowing that I do that
every single time and it makes me 10 to 15 minutes late I now okay I I know how I act I now plan 10
to 15 minutes earlier than the time I should be leaving so by the time I am like all right ready
to go I have a little bit of buffer time to be like oh fuck but I gotta grab this and I gotta
get this and I gotta get my keys together and then usually every single time no matter what
I'm there early which also is fantastic so I'm not running into the place like out of breath like
oh my god I'm sorry guys or I'm not just like losing my mind a little bit or I'm not speeding
I'm not putting myself in danger and then I have like five to ten minutes in my car of phone time
before I go into doing whatever oh my god fantastic it's great now I'm early to everything
and also I have a little bit of like buffer time in between driving or traveling and then my next
activity or my next thing and I get a little bit of me time in the process so planning ahead and
giving myself extra time to kind of be a fuck up you know what I mean so that I'm always on time
when it comes to doing chores to actually get the chores done you have to do them correctly
you can't half-ass do them you can't you know do half of it you can't just do part of it or
I'm only gonna do this and then I'll come back and do it no you're not no you're not if I start
a task I have to complete it I have to now starting a load of laundry is one thing so you
can start it you can leave it for an hour and come back to it I get it but if the laundry the
dryer is done I have to take everything out of there fold it all right and then instead of
leaving it on a pile I have to then go put it away and not take the laundry out of the laundry room
that is folded and put it in a chair where it's going to rot for three weeks no I have to go take
them and put them in their designated spot where it's going to go my whole entire closet is
organized according to like how I want it organized I have to put it in where it's supposed to be
I have like my towel basket I have to put my towels where they're supposed to go
otherwise I get in the spiral of doing things wrong for a really long time or avoiding my chores
I have found that I do my chores more often when I just do them to completion when I like actually
oh and it's so annoying I don't want to but when I actually take the initiative and do them
completely if I'm emptying the dishwasher if I realize the dishwasher is full I need to put
something in there empty it immediately put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher I think people
with ADHD don't talk enough about the frustration not necessarily always at yourself but just in
general I just find myself getting overwhelmed very easily like extremely easily overwhelmed
and frustrated and kind of shutting down as a way to like not dive into the frustration deeper
and so especially when it comes to like tasks I don't want to do I get very frustrated or when
my schedule switches up I get very frustrated and so instead of like allowing myself to sit
and wallow in those things I will chug a glass of water or I will immediately go have a snack
both of those things are going to ease that frustration and make you feel so much better
all right chug glass of water it'll kind of reset your body it'll reset your brain hydration is key
to everything honestly have a snack okay it's going to make your blood sugar a little bit higher
or lower i don't really know what is it make your blood sugar better you're not going to be
hangry you're going to feel satiated you won't feel as frustrated about whatever was in front
of you if there's a big task i'm trying to accomplish i'll write down all of the little
steps of the task so I don't feel so overwhelmed I just know okay well this is a 10 part task so
let me do the first two parts okay cross those off I can come back to the other ones later if
it's like something that needs to happen over a couple days so then I'm not so overwhelmed with
the idea of something big in front of me because it is very overwhelming and it's more manageable
and chewable when I know okay it's only seven little things I can do three right now and I can
do four tomorrow and bam all of a sudden that big daunting task is done another thing with adhd i
tell myself this is a lot this a lot it's more of like a mantra it's easier to rip the band-aid off
and get it done than it is to sit and let the wound fester so just do it just get it done i know
it's not fun it's not exciting it's not enthralling it's kind of fucking annoying but it is something
that needs to happen and you will feel better afterwards so you just you have to do it i know
and you know working with these things or doing things to completion or um helping myself break
things down or you know getting everything done in the morning or getting up early even though
i'm exhausted even though it's like a little bit i i fight it a little bit more i'm at least getting
shit done feeling productive with my day and ultimately at the end of the night I have time
to myself to chill to relax to enjoy life to go see a movie and I'm not feeling like oh my god
fuck I didn't do anything all day oh my god I feel like I didn't achieve anything oh my gosh I have
this this and this to do it's like no I can actually relax at night because I do push myself
pretty hard in the morning to get the things on my planner done achieve the tasks that I need to
achieve even plan ahead or go run those errands or go to that appointment or go to that zoom call
whatever it is I really really I have to do things the hard way unfortunately but I'd rather do
things the hard way than not do them at all you know work with what makes sense to your brain
everybody functions differently everybody has different ways of doing things and is it always
going to be the easiest way no not at all but if it works for you and you see success in it
and after doing it you feel like confident and comfortable then that's the way you should be
doing things but if I were you step number one would be getting a planner getting some colored
pens and simply start by organizing your week and months and also getting into a good routine
so then you have more brain space to work on maybe the harder more daunting challenges or the bigger
tasks that you've been putting off for a long time i'm so proud of myself for finally going to the
dentist and getting all this stuff done it wasn't even like a lot but it is a lot to my brain it
feels like a lot because i have to go to the dentist twice or three times ew i don't want to
do that i don't want to sit in there for two hours while they drill into my head you know what would
be so much easier uh canceling that appointment and pretending it didn't happen but is that good
for me is that benefiting me no no it's not and unfortunately adulting is just going damn okay
i'll do it whatever all right let's just let's just do it let's just do it let's figure it out
and do it and i believe in you you'll get there with time you'll understand yourself more you'll
understand your quirks and what drives you but hopefully those tips and tricks can help you
because they have really really helped me oh my god this is interesting your thoughts on the
ostracizing of the horse girl and current romanticizing of the horse girl yeah there is a
very like um influx of western inspiration going on right now and the year of the horse the horse
girl and I'm sure people who have been in the horse industry for a while find it annoying
but also I have found as a newcomer that the horse world is very gatekeepy and I don't fuck
with that if you know me the one thing I do not fuck with is a gatekeeper all right tell the
people invite the people be a community builder welcome them with open arms and the horse world
does not like to do that so they see this new coming trend or this excitement of individuals
wanting to be around horses and instead of being like oh my god yay more people getting excited
about something that i'm passionate about they go oh well they don't deserve this oh they're just
doing this for trend oh they're just doing a b c or d i don't give a fuck to be fair like
yeah did i see a couple like posts about horses inspirational posts and go damn i want to do that
and now all of a sudden it's become a lifelong passion of mine yes exactly so i truly don't care
about like the romanticization of the horse girl like whatever it is as long as people are excited
to be out there they find some inspiration with it they're kind to the animals and they get to
connect to the earth and to the world in a way that they never have been able to i think it's
beautiful i think it's wonderful i also think it's important because like yeah if you think about it
back in the day if you think horse girl you think the weird anti-social girl who talks to animals
more than you talk to people me as fuck but it's like don't those people just want to be loved and
have community and doesn't that take a little bit of like trending to happen for people to discover
it and want to go try it on for size so i don't know i don't see any good or bad in it i truly
don't want to be a gatekeeper either it's just excitement excitement in a new realm i feel like
this happen in skating about I don't know four years ago skateboarding was like really really
big and I feel like the skateboarders became very closed off very um gatekeeping and that's why it
didn't take off in a way that it should have like the funding that could have gone to skateboarding
and the community building that could have gone to skateboarding would could have been like
incredible not that there isn't that but like as a as someone who thinks about branding a lot I was
like there's so many branding opportunities and community building opportunities here but because
they closed themselves off so tightly to newcomers and kind of gatekept it it really shut down that
like excitement a lot and people who are new to it and I hate that when it comes to passions and
hobbies like there's one thing I can do and anything that I'm passionate about is also get
other people excited about it as well because like bitch I think it's cool I want other people to
think it's cool too you know what i mean and yeah am i that weird freak horse girl that talks about
how magical it is to work with them uh yes i am am i new to it as well and don't really know as
much as other people uh yes i am but does that mean i'm going to keep my mouth closed about how
fun it is and how much it excites me and how much i am encouraging other people to like go on trail
rides with me no not at all because i do think there's something beautiful and magical about it
and i do think it deserves more recognition and excitement in the equestrian world and support as
well so the last thing i'm gonna do is yeah close myself off to it or close other people off to it
yeah i don't know i always was the weird anti-social freak i just never had horses around
me or like a hyper fixation on animals i was just the weirdo in the corner the art i was the art
girl so like i understand what it is to be ostracized and i don't ever want to make anybody
else feel like that just because they're new to something or don't know much about it someone
asked music rex i've been in a rut and want to learn new music uh they said i love harry styles
harry styles new album was okay i mean he really slayed the album before this so it's like hard
to live up to it also girl fuck harry styles 500 nosebleed tickets okay greedy greedy i can't get
down with that but i will say best album of the year just came out um slater slater just dropped
her i think it's her first album it's called worst girl in america um slater with three y's
but if you like i i'm thinking of her as like our new era kesha where she's doing like experimental
edm pop but also in a very vulnerable way and also in a very well-rounded way each like song
on the album is so interesting and so different from one another but also so cohesive as a full
album oh my god it's just it's fantastic it is so good it's probably the newest thing i've been
listening to that's been getting me excited it's the perfect album to play before you go out or if
you're like working out something like that britney murphy is the last song on the album and it's
probably my favorite but before that i was listening to dance and beat up chanel's constantly
over and over and over and over again when I would need to like hype myself up to go do something I
would listen to those songs so the fact that she put out an album she knew exactly what we needed
but fantastic 10 out of 10 such a good album and then also another album that I find myself
playing a lot if you haven't given it a listen which you definitely probably have Addison Rae's
album is truly so good it's so good and i love seeing her growth and progression as an artist
and how inspiring it is and how exciting it is because i think some people think when you start
in a certain way um especially online you know as a tiktoker she was a tiktoker she's a dancer
like people demean other people so much to the point where they write them off completely
over nothing it's like yeah she's a tiktoker who cares like that's cool it's fun she's just
sharing her life online and being silly and making silly little videos but people really
do look down on you and so seeing her completely go above and beyond and just do everything she
wants and everything she calls feels called to do and just like make fun music and have a fun time
and be a pop star it is so exciting and so fun to see and her album is absolutely fantastic and so
good for just like a dose of inspiration or like a dose of serotonin in the springtime and then one
singular song that i've had on repeat which is kind of in the realm uh so freaking good it's
called why should i be sad by britney spears first of all um britney's album her blackout album is
probably the best album ever created wow britney she truly no one has lived up to her pop stardom
um she is such a fantastic singer and the songs she's written are honestly amazing i mean like
duh you guys know this it's britney spears but specifically her song why should i be sad
oh it's so good it's so good like oh he disappointed you bitch i'm the best why should
i be sad oh i did everything for you and you did nothing for me who gives a fuck why should i be
sad like it's fantastic and i think pharrell produced it so you know it's a banger but yeah
that's the music i've been playing i've actually am creating a new playlist every month i share
um a curated playlist for my patreon girls so if you're ever interested in like what music i'm
listening to or content that i'm consuming i share i share a lot including my music and

Hi, Hannah.
First of all, thank you so much for doing this podcast.
It has been helping me a lot with anxiety and my depression.
it is very relatable and i just love listening to you so keep it up girl never stop doing this
um i'm listening from puerto rico so hello from here if my english is not like perfect
it is because of that um my link my first language is spanish so yeah but anyways i'm
gonna get to the point um i i want your advice in two things the first one being i'm going through
a breakup it has been a month now and a couple of weeks um we ended it in good terms um but we're
not talking and we used to live together so yeah um but anyways i want to get out there you know
like i'm like i want to know myself and you know like just being me and get to know me
and being comfortable with being alone because i've i've been struggling with that a lot um since
forever um but i want to get out there meaning i want to have sex with other people yeah i want
advice on that because i already have a person that i want to have sex with and i like i want
to do sex with this person like i'm really into this person but i feel like i'm gonna get anxiety
um because i feel like it has like it is recent my breakup but i want to do it at the same time
and the second advice that i want you to give me is i know that you that a lot of us struggle with
this but how to be comfortable with being alone because it is so hard girl like i'm not kidding i
get like a lot of anxiety from being alone like it is very uncomfortable so yeah just that thank
you so much and never stop doing this love you bye oh love you well I'm so sorry that you went
through a breakup that is just I mean no fun ever at all but I'm proud of you for knowing what you
need and knowing that it wasn't working and knowing you need to move forward what's beautiful
is now you're in this wonderful stage where you're able to grow and blossom and become such an
exciting and fun individual especially a new individual that you weren't able to be before
and yeah that's going to include challenges like having to go hang out with new people and maybe
hook up with them and also have to be alone a little bit more here's the thing let's talk about
the aloneness first we as humans are not meant to be alone we're not naturally we feel very very
uncomfortable with being alone because like it makes us feel vulnerable we get bored easily
we're forced to actually like look inward and focus on ourselves you know what I mean
it's it's not fun you're having to do a lot of work when you're alone but the work is always
worth it and also it allows you to build better relationships in the future and build a better
community around you when you know who you are so there's a beauty to being alone but also i don't
want you to be so alone that you have no community so when you are alone challenge yourself to do fun
things okay team building things but it's just you and yourself maybe you go to your favorite
restaurant maybe you go to an art museum maybe you go to the beach maybe you go on a little bike ride
whatever it may be do something that a you would want to do with a friend and you would feel
comfortable doing and you already feel excited by the prospect of doing but just do it alone even
if you have your headphones and you're listening to a podcast or you have your headphones and
you're listening to some music that's probably the better way to do it it's okay to do things
alone because through doing things alone with yourself not just like sitting alone but like
going out and actively being with yourself out in the world you're gonna learn things about
yourself you might run into people and spark up conversation you might be more inclined to like
talk to the cashier or to like make a new friend or just say hi to the woman at the end of the
block so you get to know her story like there's more that comes with being alone than just getting
to know yourself it's also getting to know yourself in the aspect of the world around you
so challenge yourself to maybe do some things alone and also post breakup especially after
living together it's gonna feel a little uncomfortable being alone so just make sure
you have things to like keep yourself um like from getting bored it's okay to have distractions
it's okay to like have a movie on in the background or have a podcast on in the background
so you are like not so bored with yourself or to like pick up a book or to you know cook more meals
at home whatever it is something to kind of distract yourself from having to like be isolated
it so much now when it comes to like getting back out into the dating scene exciting I'm glad you
have a prospect in front of you that you're like no I'm ready to get down like let's get crazy with
it you know that's so exciting and it's so fun to be in the crush stage and I do think also with
being alone and going through like new dating you will also get to know yourself more through that
listen yes you're gonna be anxious but anxiety can be it doesn't mean that something's wrong
or doesn't mean that something's gonna go wrong sometimes anxiety just means oh this is something
new that's happening and i'm i'm feeling like giddy about it or i'm getting excited about it
and your body's getting confused and you're thinking it's anxiety but in reality you're just
excited for it your heart's racing you got butterflies in your stomach you're gonna go
hang out with a hottie like yeah of course you're gonna be a little anxious but if you let your
anxiety control you'll you'll never go on that date you'll never have that bomb ass sex you know
what I mean so don't let your anxiety control you go into it anxious they're probably gonna be
anxious as well so like it's okay at least you're meeting in that neutral state where you're both a
little a little excited and also when it comes to first dates my best first date advice is go into
it as if you are going to hang out with your best friend act the same way you would act with your
best friend act as authentically to yourself as possible see if they can fit in when you are
feeling your best self and feeling you know you're most confident if they can't fit in or they feel
a little scared by it or timid by it or it's just not meshing then you know they're not the one for
you you shouldn't have to force a connection it should feel very natural and very good and very
exciting and that's how you guys know you'll have bomb sex that's for sure but yeah get excited
about life you know build up that hype inside of you challenge yourself to do some things on your
own you never know who you'll meet along the way go on that date put your best foot forward put on
a hot ass outfit feel yourself the other person will also feel you in the process and at the end
of the day say if the date doesn't go good at least you went out at least you challenged yourself
at least you like got all dressed up or feeling yourself maybe take a little shot before you go
out and you learned a little bit more about yourself along the way it's a beautiful time
for you to blossom and flourish as an individual and i'm so excited to see how you transform and
grow during this time um breakups can be very very challenging and i mean obviously not fun
and very hard but every single person who goes through a breakup comes out of it feeling more
themselves more confident and in a better place than they were before so i know you're gonna do
nothing but good things i know you're gonna do nothing but succeed and i hope you go on that
date i hope you feel hot i hope you feel sexy i hope you get to know yourself and i hope you have
some bomb ass sex that's for sure make out advice exclamation point exclamation point you know what
have we talked about making out before i feel like i've talked a lot about sucking dick i've
talked about eating ass i talk about i've talked about everything have we simply talked about
making out have we talked about making out i love a good make out and can i say something
the art of making out is dead no one knows how to make out anymore do not teeth on teeth open mouth
sloppy like eating my face off i'm gonna be pissed i'm going to be pissed but also it can't just be
like pecking it has to be i think making out and making out well is kind of harder than having sex
because sex makes sense it's like okay we just we catch a vibe we do our thing making out is like
that but you have to be very delicate about it because it's your mouth it's such a small amount
of area and only a little bit that you're allowed to work with and I think it also is like a dance
when you are making out it has to be like a dance you can't just like go straight into it hardcore
I mean unless that's what you're into then go ahead I feel like you kind of have to like slowly
edge your way into it i remember my first ever makeout sesh first ever ever i've had i had kisses
here and there under the playground slides whatever first ever makeout i went on a date
with this guy in high school and afterwards we were just hanging chatting and all of a sudden
it's like his entire mouth on my face i'm talking my chin was in his mouth and i was just kind of
like pressed up against his car like wide-eyed looking around because consensual don't worry
like i wanted to make out with him i just didn't realize he'd be horrible and awful and i didn't
realize he'd be so bad at it i thought i was gonna be bad at it because i had never made out with
anybody and then i was like but i'm not doing this so obviously i know something's going on
here and it was like i remember like pulling away and my entire face was covered in slobber
i'm not getting slobber and i was like this is not gonna work immediately went home with my
leftovers ghosted him smoked a bowl and finished the rest of my burrito i was just like this is
it's he can't make out and it's okay because you need practice to know how to make out you need
practice let me let me tell you how to do it all right i remember when i was younger and i'd be
like kissing my hand or whatever and i think that you know having a little like hand mouth to
practice on does make sense because it's semi lip but also i recommend just like having fun and
making out with randoms fuck it fuck it you're young go have a cute kiss go practice on a man
you'll never talk to you again why the hell not why the hell not you know but here's how you make
out if you're ready to do so you've got to start small you know maybe you start with a little peck
maybe you start with just lips and then you slowly once you get into a good movement with your lips
you guys catch a flow state with your lips then you slowly and gently start peeking your tongue
out and you'll just gently line like maybe their upper lip or their bottom lip tracing it gently
with your tongue do not poke your tongue furiously gently your tongue is a muscle actually i think
it's two muscles connected together you have a lot of control over it practice that control if
you're good at making out it also means you're good at sucking dick and eating pussy i do think
it translates so practice on the mouth first before you get down there gently just the lips
and then you can slowly like if they if they start you know adding their tongue in then you can move
a little bit deeper than maybe you just like like touch their lower teeth or touch their top teeth
slowly start like swirling your tongue around theirs and then you can get deeper then you can
use the whole tongue then it becomes kind of like an open mouth make out session more tongue like
but I think to get there just just move slowly take your time feel the rhythm feel it out and
also when you're making out you don't have to shove your face into theirs you can hold your
posture and hold your neck up straight and make out you don't have to shove your face against
theirs that is so painful and not fun just be in control of your mouth i know you know just like
don't be greedy and then if you want to take it to the next level you should also be using your
hands no not your hands in their mouth don't worry but as you're making out you should be like maybe
playing with their earlobe gently like rubbing their ear running your hands through the back of
their back of their hair you know gently playing with their hair something like that hands in the
back of their neck gently massaging the back of their neck while you're making out with them
like it's a full situation okay maybe one hand is on the back of their neck like rubbing the back
of their neck gently you're running your hand through their hair while you're making out with
them and the other one's like playing with the top like edge of their pants like something silly
something fun a little hand on the hip a hand on the chest like there's a lot more that goes into
making out than people might expect and it's not just like tongue and teeth and spit and slobber
okay you can get into that you can start spitting in each other's mouths later on but it has to
start like a sensual slow dance gently at first just lips little tongue tongue on teeth tongue
on tongue the mouth gets open a little bit more as you put your tongue further into their mouth
as they put their tongue into your mouth hands get involved you start full body exploring and
expressing all right and keep your eyes closed don't open your eyes while you're making out
that's never a good sign i don't want to make eye contact with you while we're making out that's not
fun don't shove your face into someone else's face don't shove your tongue down someone else's
throat don't slobber all over them you know what i mean keep it cute keep it sexy and go out and
explore if you're not good at making out that's okay like was i fantastic at making out first time
i ever did it no i had no clue what the fuck was going on i didn't even know i could use my tongue
in those ways i didn't even want that person's tongue in my mouth i was like nope i don't want
to do this uh that's all right go to the bar go out with your friends go find a random man go say
i need to practice making out go make out with him in the back alley leave i'm just kidding well be
careful of course like hello cold sores just be aware be aware but practice makes perfect
and having a fun sexy partner that you can practice with there's nothing better how to
survive dating apps i fear you got to use it like pokemon go like you really can't take it seriously
because i know the men on um those dating apps are using it like pokemon go for women like you
should not be taking it that seriously because I think also like taking it unseriously makes you
I think it's it's really important to be in a very energetic state when you're dating and when you
are in a state that's just like I feel confident comfortable in who I am I really don't give a
fuck if you like me or not if it works it works it doesn't it doesn't you have a higher likelihood
of bringing in people that are actually going to mesh well with you or not mesh at all and you
know not to fuck with them and to immediately remove them from your life so i do think there's
an unseriousness that it is important when it comes to dating where it's like if it works it
works it doesn't it doesn't i truly don't care because i'm comfortable and confident in who i
am standing alone okay like if they don't fit in that's fine because i'm good as i am and also
it's a dating app like it's it's unserious to begin with have fun swipe right get a little
flirty or swipe left you can only fuck with them unmatch if they're being weird as fuck you don't
owe them anything you don't have to meet up with them if you don't want to you don't have to reply
to them if you don't want to they're messaging you weird thirsty shit and you're not thirsty
yourself like fucking block them who cares who cares literally pokemon go for men or women
whichever you prefer i think that's how you kind of have to go about it it'll lead you probably
into some like um dates that'll be much more chiller you'll go into it with like not a lot
of expectations on yourself which is important like you're just there to kind of vibe them out
and feel and see if it works out and if it doesn't it doesn't like who cares it'll just make the
dating process so much better and easier because once you get like intense about it and serious
about it and like is this match i made four hours gonna be my husband it's like whoa like chill out
like that's going way too hard like how about can you have a good conversation how about is he
intellectual enough to even hold a conversation or does he just want to get in that pussy like
vibe them out feel them out and keep it unserious so you keep having fun once it gets serious then
you'll know to take it serious but it shouldn't be within the first 8 to 12 hours that you just
swiped right on them do you find that you can work better or worse when stoned or is there no
difference for you oh this is a good question because i like i said miss entrepreneur i like
i work for myself most of the time so am i also stoned during most of that time yes absolutely
but there's also certain things i can't do stoned okay um if i'm getting into a meeting or a
business call i cannot be high for that i need to be cognizant and aware of what's going on
If I'm writing emails, I cannot be stoned for that.
If I'm organizing my planner, I cannot be stoned for that.
If I'm like planning out my month or content planning or anything like that, I cannot be
stoned for that.
I have to be like functionally aware, even in life.
Like if I'm going out to dinner with my parents, I can't be high for that.
Like I want to be able to speak with them.

hear that it's your money calling it wants a promotion elevate your savings with the scotia
high interest savings account always earn high regular interest rates that grow the more you
save and invest conditions apply visit scotiabank.com slash hisa to learn more scotia bank you're richer
than you think if I'm running errands like well I can be high for that but like most of the times
I don't like to be high in public because I get too anxious and I don't want to really trigger
like extra trigger my anxiety for unnecessary reasons going horseback riding I cannot be high
for that I need to be present in my body and in my mind now what I can be high for when I am working
when i'm making content this podcast i can get pretty high for it i don't do it as often because
it's like i need to actually function and speak and i've gotten into this habit of going non-verbal
when i smoke recently so you know i understand now i can't really smoke as much as i used to
on the podcast which honestly thank god because if you started listening to this podcast four
years ago or whenever the fuck i started this i would be taking i'm not even kidding bong rips
in between each question did anything I say make sense probably fucking not did I remember even
what day it was no absolutely it was fun for the moment I was young you know I didn't really I did
not care I truly did not care but was it good for my brain no I I know in the long run it wasn't
good for me so now I'm really cognizant about it when I'm creating content like videos or maybe
like YouTube videos or anything like that curated playlist doing Sunday journal prompts I'm usually
pretty stoned for that like I'm in a creative flow state if I'm painting I can get high for that
if I'm cleaning my house I am abnormally high actually I am so incredibly stoned that I have
no choice but to do the dishes because the demons will get me if I don't I love being high as hell
cleaning like i know every saturday or sunday if i become a mother i will be blasting britney
spears stoned as fuck deep cleaning the house yes i am going to be that annoying mom that's like 8
a.m the playlist is playlisting and it's loud as fuck and the vacuum's running and yeah you're
gonna hate me but i don't care i birthed you and i'm gonna deep clean this entire goddamn house
i am not an all or nothing person and i think people really enjoy taking all or nothing takes
because it's very decisive and it creates controversy and of course if you feel one way
solidly someone else of course is going to feel very solidly the opposite way so am i going to
sit up here and be like yes you can go become a nurse and smoke weed the entire time no i'm not
going to say that like if i was in school i could not study and be high at the same time i understand
when it comes to substances there are gives and takes to everything i mean with life there's gives
and takes to everything and it just took time with me understanding my body and listening to it
and like wanting to utilize weed in a way that actually like made me feel good and i wasn't just
running from reality and that meant not smoking when i shouldn't be smoking and allowing myself
to maybe indulge when it made sense for my my routine my day my actions whatever it may be but
there's a time and place for everything and there is not just like black or white it is just there
is like a gray zone where it's like there's good and bad to everything whatever makes sense to you
makes sense to you but does that mean i'm high 24 hours in the day no absolutely not am i high
after the hours of 3 p.m usually usually all the time me like yeah your adhd won't make you work
past three actually bitch maybe it's the 18 bong rips you take let's be real but yeah i definitely
think you can be a successful stoner i think you can be a so a stoner that like creates a
multi-million dollar business like i don't think seth rogan smokes weed in times where he feels
like it's unnecessary to do so is he smoking weed every other moment in the day yeah absolutely is
he smoking weed when he has to write a silly little comedy skit yes probably a lot of it
but is it like you know in unnecessary situations is he smoking weed no probably not um you have to
understand what works for you and what doesn't work for you i mean i have friends who are like
going on to get their doctorates and it's like i can't smoke during the day or usually in the
evenings because i'm studying or i'm in clinicals but saturdays are my fucking day saturdays are my
day i'm not on call i'm not doing anything i'm gonna smoke a little joint and enjoy my day you
gotta read the room a little bit you gotta know what works for you and that was something that
was really hard for me because i really i mean obviously i've embodied the stoner identity and
when I was younger I used to think that meant I need to be as high as possible 24 7 and that's
just not a good reality for me and not something that necessarily worked for me so I had to realize
instead of letting weed control my life I had to control the weed within my life and learn to
understand when it works for me when it doesn't work for me when I do enjoy it when I don't enjoy
it and to use it to my advantage because you can use things to your advantage especially knowing
how they interact with you it's always best to use things to your advantage I mean substances
or anything you know but yeah it's kind of funny I would consider myself I'll go ahead and say it
I'll go ahead and say I would consider myself a successful stoner did anybody in my life think
I'd get to this point in time no not at all not at all even my parents were like Hannah we got to
give you props we really don't worry about you as much I'm like yeah yeah thank god you don't but I
did have to kind of like lock in and stop smoking as much weed and really focus on myself and what
I wanted to do in life and work really fucking hard for a long time and it's always worth it
because eventually that means my retirement will look like doing absolutely nothing and smoking as
much weed as possible sometimes you got to remove a little bit to get more in the future you know
what i mean someone said not a question but i listened to the pod from uruguay how do you feel
about the reach of the pod honestly okay so i love looking at the statistics and everything
about this podcast and it's so fun because at first i started and i'm like okay i'm from america
i'm obviously gonna have a very high percentage of people listening from america and of course
that's true you know what i mean but as the podcast went on it reached like really new levels
of audience and of people listening and i love hearing where you guys are from because it's just
so fun like we really are just all girls from all over the entire world if you want to know where
like um the top listeners are from united states canada united kingdom australia germany finland
new zealand poland netherlands france spain switzerland many many many many many others
literally i'm still scrolling oh my god there's people from norfolk island listening to this
there's people from the congo listening to this there's people from haiti the bahamas
gibraltar i don't even know if i'm saying that right iran sudan laos like everywhere
Kyrgyzstan I'm like shocked and flabbergasted and so lucky and so so excited about it because it's
like yes that means I'm reaching people with so many different backgrounds or so many different
ways of living or so many different experiences and yet we all come here to have a laugh to
realize wow we're really not alone in this life no matter how many miles of distance are in between
us and that at the end of the day we all just like want to have a good time and enjoy life together
and have a little laugh and a little key and i i think that's beautiful right now especially so
when there's so much division between people i am trying to do as much as i can to bring
connectedness and community because at the end of the day we are all just human we're all humans
trying to do the best that we can for ourselves and hopefully for one another and everything else
that happens in between pushes us away from each other at the end of the day we are all so
incredibly similar and i think that's what's beautiful that's what makes being human so
beautiful can you talk about protection spells and protection magic absolutely um i think most
of the spell work and the stuff that i do um when it comes to magic and spells or whatever you want
to call it spirituality it is all regarding like protection of myself um and not because i'm like
fearful of random ops like it really is not like that i don't feel like somebody is like
constantly behind me with a knife out i more so i'm just like always wanting to bring in the best
energy possible and in my opinion that comes from protection protection of self protection of
mind protection of body protection of spirit so a couple things that i always do is i'm always
wearing an evil eye um whether it's a necklace a bracelet i have an evil eye bracelet that i wear
every single day um and it's just like a little talisman that i love having on me as a way to
protect myself i've always been i've always worn an evil eye since like uh probably middle school
i actually have a giant evil eye tattooed not evil eye technically but an eye nonetheless
tattooed on my back um as a way of um like physical sigil protection of something is always
watching my back if i am not present like aware of it if i'm just like la la land living my best
life focus on the good that's in front of me there's something that is always watching my
back just in case something approaches so i have my tattoo i always wear an evil eye i always wear
some sort of turquoise as well for me personally I've always had success with turquoise being a
protection stone it is a protection stone that my grandmother's wore so it's a protection stone
that I feel inclined to wear and that's just something that kind of was handed down from me
I mean like all of these rings are rings that my grandmothers grew up wearing or even made like my
great-grandmother was a silversmith and made this ring so that's just like not only like protection
from my family but also like physical protection passed down to me some people carry like crystals
and stuff in their purses I personally have this like kind of like good juju bag I don't know what
else to call it like a good energy bag a protection bag in my purse I carry it with me everywhere I go
it's actually this little um paisley wallet that my boss brought me from Iran when he was traveling
um and he was like I just bought one for all the girls and they have something fun to have on them
and remember their time here I was like that's so sweet um and I have a different wallet that I use
but I didn't want it to go to waste because it is really really beautiful and the stitching on it
is just like so pretty and the coloring so I use that to hold actually any sort of like talismans
or things that I have to protect myself so I actually filled it with um like a lot of things
I have different herbs and spices and white salt and cinnamon sticks with writing on it
and crystals that I've put in this like wallet pouch thing and I consider that like my good
luck bag my my good luck talisman that I carry around with me in my purse and of course I empty
it out and refresh it every once in a while another great way to just like cleanse energy
or have good energy or some sort of protection over your environment is white candles white
candles are fantastic for just cleansing energy in your area or renewing energy or getting rid of
bad energy I burn a lot of white candles in my house you can see a couple above me here
another good luck thing that I have I have a lot of good luck stuff in my house I actually went to
in Japan the lucky cat temple the temple where lucky cats originated it was probably the number
one thing on my list to do in Japan and there they actually the maneki neko it's where it's
originated the history of it is that there was a and bitch i'm not a historian so welcome to high
history um there was a emperor emperor who was lost during the middle of a rainstorm like a
very thunderous intense storm almost like tsunami type storm that was going on and as he was trying
to find shelter a cat appeared and this cat he started following it because like cats don't
want to be out in the rain they're gonna have shelter and it actually led him to this temple
and so in honor of that i guess that's how the um history of the lucky cow was created so i actually
bought one there they make handmade statues hand-painted statues that are blessed there
and i bought one plus a couple other like good luck things there in japan but that's another
thing i keep around me as a way to like usher in prosperity and peace and protection what else
burning incense burning incense is a fantastic way to kind of like cleanse and bless a space or
usher in peace and prosperity yeah i don't know i think magic is beautiful because it's all about
the little things you do in your life that make you feel protected and covered um even like i was
i was at work and i was carrying a tray of food and i dropped the entire trade on the stairs and
all i could really do is like stand there and laugh because like i truly don't give a fuck like
I oh I dropped something oh I'm gonna go cry like no I don't care these aren't my plates it's not my
money it's just a tray of food I don't care the kitchen will remake it because that's what they're
doing as their job they'll remake the food like it is what it is but as I was going down the stairs
I was like wow you know I've never dropped anything down these stairs or fallen down them
and as soon as I thought that bam the tray fell out of my hand fell forward all these plates
craziness everybody's like oh my god and then I came down the stairs and I was like whatever I'll
go sweep it up like I'm really not worried a part of me went you know what at least it wasn't my
body falling down the stairs like I had that thought of like one bad thing or one even worse
thing which is my body not falling down the stairs and thank god it wasn't that one thing and my boss
came up to me and you know he's giving me a hard time just we were just kikiing and he's like you
know what in my culture whenever somebody breaks something we always say did you get hurt no well
good then something else you know broke the curse or broke the bad energy so your body didn't have
to so something worse didn't happen you know it's okay when things break or you know when you drop
a plate when you drop a glass when you break your bong ah the worst but it is like a physical
representation of bad energy being cleared so then something worse isn't building up or so you don't
get hurt you know and i thought that was really beautiful because it's like you're so right i mean
that's probably why in my heart i really didn't care that i dropped 18 fucking plates on the
stairs yeah there's magic anywhere you look for it and i am always looking for new ways to protect
and uplift and support myself and just really just energize myself in any sort of way i can
speaking of stressful situations like me completely dropping a entire tray of shit on the floor
um someone asked how to let stress not control your life and i think this is a good one to talk
about because i'm in a place where and i mean literally knock on wood two and five canadians

i'm in a very fucking chillaxed place in my life does that mean stressful things aren't occurring
no i'm constantly surrounded by stress i'm an adult individual okay we're all surrounded by
stress even if you're not an adult there's always something stressful happening that's the thing in
life you will always be surrounded by stress you can't control the stressors i've been in very
stressful situations it's like well shit someone just t-boned my car oh my god i just dropped a
thing at plates down the stairs oh my gosh i just you know accidentally cut my hand cutting lemons
oh my gosh i just got a random bill in the mail oh my god i gotta go get my teeth done oh my gosh
my my cat has to go to the vet oh my god my car got stolen like there's stressful things that
happen i've been in a lot of stressful situations that were just unnecessarily stressful and i've
learned the only thing you can do when it comes to controlling stress is controlling your reaction
to it that's the only thing you can do you can't control the random fucking situation that happens
because guess what you'll never expect it you'll never expect it you'll never be able to guess the
random crazy things that are gonna happen so instead of letting that completely take over
and control your life you got to control your reaction to it which is am i healthy am i alive
am i okay okay cool then there's no more need to stress over it you know what i mean even at this
place that i work out occasionally it's a high stress environment simply because no one knows
what's going on ever at all neither do i and i've been there for like i don't know two years now
and this new girl is working and she's like you come in here with the most zen energy i've ever
seen in my entire life like I really I really want to be on your level and I'm like that's
because I don't take this place seriously there's there's not a lot in my life that I truly take
seriously because not a lot really matters to me and in a very like genuine way like what does
matter to me okay my health my happiness the people I love in my life their health their
happiness my cat's health and happiness my fucking fish's health and happiness you know
am i doing things i love am i doing things i enjoy am i able to you know keep myself stable enough
to like make enough money to feel stable like those are the things i care about those are the
things that really drive me and keep me going so anything outside of there like dumb ass drama
dumbass people who want to cause drama bad attitudes ugly people who want to make my life
a living hell like i don't care and i honestly can't afford to care because i got bills to pay
i got mouths to feed i got things to do and achieve i got other things i gotta do after this
so if it's not in the bubble my physical bubble of things that i care about then i just simply put
do not have time and energy to care about it you know and that doesn't mean I'm closed off I'm
actually a very in touch individual I feel like I dip my toes into a lot of communities I do a lot
of community outreach I do try and show up for individuals in my life who can't show up for
themselves I'm looking out for people I'm a sensitive individual I'm a kind individual I'm
a caring individual I say I only have time to care about certain things and you think like
oh curmudgeon evil awful i think people use as as an excuse to be evil and awful but in reality
like being evil and awful is just putting more energy into it it's like no the best energy i
can really hold in any sort of environment is kind of just like neutrality appreciation of life and
neutrality and wanting to always put my best foot forward so i have the best outcomes or people have
good like um not even opinions about me but good experiences with me i want to be a good individual
but also if you're gonna fight me on that or you're pissed off that i'm a good individual
or you want to cause drama or you know random shit wants to stress me out that doesn't matter
to me and in the bubble of things that really matter to me then i'm not gonna waste my time
and energy stressing out about it it's a lot of compartmentalization i gotta do because i did i
used to let myself get stressed out by everything and then i was like a shell of an individual you
could blow on me and I'd snap in half like that's not any way to live and I think if you allow
everything to have such a big impact on your mind and on your body and on your soul you will become
a lot of like a shell of an individual because there's a lot of outside stimuli there's a lot
outside stimuli especially with our phones with the news everything going on like there's only
so much I can pay attention to and care about and of course I'm going to put that energy to the
things that truly matter most and need the most attention or the things that i have the most
energy to be able to put forward to and sometimes if that's just like waking up and eating and
breathing and sleeping sometimes that's all it is if it's more than that some days fantastic
wonderful there's an ebb and flow to the energy of everything but for me personally as somebody
who was chronically stressed chronically anxious you need to realize that a you have control over
your life and you have control over things that stress you out and right now the only things that
stress me out are things that I am doing in my life that I feel excited about and appreciative
of I've removed factors from my life that unnecessarily stress me out and are not good
for me like bad boyfriends or fucking bad friends or unnecessarily family drama like I don't have
time for that I don't have energy for that there's no reason for me to stress over that because
there's nothing I can do about it so like I gotta remove it from my life you know like the whole
resentment thing like are you gonna sit there and be so upset constantly over the same thing are you
just gonna realize damn maybe I deserve happiness and that happiness is not gonna come from here
because I've tried so let me remove that thing from my life and go find happiness you know there
is some control to things that happen does that mean I'm never stressed no absolutely not I'm
actually stressed 24 7 but like I said it's over things that I'm going to actually utilize my
stress wisely for such as like getting this podcast out on time making sure my cat's healthy
going to my doctor's appointments going in taking my grandma out to lunch showing up and being an
active community member to people who need community am I gonna stress out over a minimum
wage job no absolutely not i mean it pays my bills absolutely cool fantastic but also it's like
i'm not gonna let that unnecessarily stress me out and i'm am i gonna let like random hypothetical
situations 20 years from now stress me out no i'll handle that when it approaches me am i gonna let
things from five years ago stress me out no because that's in the past and i only have time to move
forward sometimes you gotta put yourself first and that includes your mental health that includes
your stress load that includes what you physically and mentally have time for in some periods of
time and it's okay to only have time for certain things or only have a mental capacity for certain
things as long as you're taking care of yourself along the way all right don't stress yourself out
unnecessarily it's not good for you your brain will shrink and die i know this because i have
done this to myself for a long time it's okay to be a stressed out freak i'm a stressed out freak
all the time but stress out over things that matter stress out over things that you care about
stress out over things that really mean something to you not things that you truly at the end of
the day don't care about uh thank you guys for listening today we'll do more collins next week
