Welcome everybody to Soccer Wise. The biggest moment of the year is upon us. It is 2025 MOS Golden Boot Draft with our partners in SoccerWise. That's what it says, by the way, on the graphic, which I forgot to send to all of you, but it's sitting on the YouTube page as the cover for this one because we are back. The family is back in business. The family is back together. We had Doyle on last week to yell for an hour and 57 minutes.

I talked to someone who's a Toronto fan yesterday and they were like, I just went to our section. I was like, probably a pretty good fast forward for you, but I hope you enjoyed it. Denke looks amazing, not only in front of goal last night, but just in terms of running him behind, holding up,

having the vision to connect with teammates, and then ultimately getting where goals are scored. And then Orochano. Like Lucho, just he hoovers the ball. He hoovers space. He hoovers opportunity, and Orochano. Like Lucho, he hovers the ball, he hovers space, he hovers opportunity and Orochano still thrived. I think this team is going to be by far in a way the shield winner in MLS this year.

I mean, I agree with the talent, but Orochano didn't travel last night. It was a coach's decision and he's still at odds with the team. I think they'll figure it out, but that worries me a little bit. And Mialzka's still not playing. Like they're slow playing his return and they expect him to be a hundred percent, but it's at least a little bit worrying. And just overall, this

team doesn't have the depth of Seattle and Miami, who are the other two top, top, top tier teams. And I think that's going to matter when they start their season so early with CONCACAF Champions League. and when you're trying to win over the course of nine months, which is the regular season. So I actually have Miami winning the supporter shield and I think they're gonna do the double. I think it really matters to Messi and when it matters to him, he tends to figure out ways to win.

And yeah, he's gonna win MVP. Like this team is better and deeper than last year They still have a move to make because I think they're gonna trade Julian Gressel and they're probably gonna be able to bring in another backup number nine So like this I just think it's gonna work I liked what I saw from them last even though they only got one shot on goal But like I thought that they looked solid defensively
