The life of Lupita Rojas, a story of love, struggle, and tragedy.
When Un Hell walked away just a few months after their son Ospin was born,
the world seemed to collapse on Lupita's shoulders.
She was barely past her teenage years, a brand new mother,
and already facing the toughest challenge of her life,
raising a child completely on her own.
There wasn't time to sit around and cry,
diapers had to be bought, rent had to be paid, bottles had to be filled.
Lupita had no choice but to pick herself up and keep moving.
And move she did, with a level of determination that made people admire her even more.
If she was scared, she didn't let it show.
If she was exhausted, she just kept going.
Thankfully, she wasn't entirely alone.
Her mother, Margarita, became her anchor, her confidante, her best friend.
wasn't just a mom anymore, she was a grandmother, and her grandson became the light of her life.
Every time she watched little Ospin giggle or crawl across the living room floor, she felt a spark of
joy that erased years of hardship. In that baby's eyes, she saw hope for the future, and she
passed that sense of hope on to Lupita. Lupita leaned hard on her mom during those years.
The two women formed a team, Margarita took care of the baby when Lupita had to work,
and Lupita made sure the house bills were paid.
Instead of breaking her spirit, the abandonment lit a fire under her.
She refused to let her story end as, the poor girl left behind with a baby.
She wanted more, for herself, for her son, and for the family that had always believed in her.
So she clung to her dreams even tighter.
By day, she worked as an administrative employee at the Secretariat of Public Administration.
It wasn't glamorous work, lots of paperwork, deadlines, and a stiff office atmosphere, but it was stable, and stability mattered when you were a single mom.
But Lupita wasn't the type to settle. She wanted something that was hers, something that came from her passions, not just her necessity to survive.
Her heart was still with beauty, styling, and everything that came with making people feel good about themselves.
So little by little, she began to plan.
She saved money, she researched, she talked to friends and neighbors about what kind of salon they wished they had nearby.
The dream of opening her own beauty shop became her North Star.
Whenever life felt overwhelming, she reminded herself that one day she'd cut the ribbon on her own place and welcome customers with a smile.
And for a while, it seemed like things were finally moving in the right direction.
Lupita had carved out a life where she was both mom and breadwinner, caretaker and dream chaser.
She was finally at peace with the idea that Un Hell was gone, and that maybe it was for the best.
But then, like a ghost creeping back into her life, Unhell reappeared.
Almost four years had passed since he walked away, and suddenly there he was again, knocking at her door, not physically at first, but emotionally, sliding back into her life with apologies,
sweet words, and promises of change. He talked about wanting to be a better man, about missing
his family, about how he realized how wrong he had been. And Lupita, despite everything, listened.
Maybe it was the longing for a complete family, maybe it was the small hope that people really
could change. Maybe it was just that part of her that still remembered the boy who once made her
laugh at a party years before. Whatever it was, she gave him another chance.
This time, they didn't just reunite, they expanded their family. Soon, Lupita gave birth to her
second son, Leo. Holding her newborn in her arms, Lupita felt a rush of optimism. Maybe, just maybe,
this was the turning point. Maybe Unhell had finally grown up. Maybe stability was really here to stay.
But life has a cruel way of testing people, and Unhell once again proved incapable of keeping
his promises. Just as abruptly as before, he left again. This time the betrayal cut even deeper,
not only because he abandoned Lupita again, but because he did it for another woman.
The second abandonment shattered her. It wasn't just heartbreak, it was humiliation, anger,
and an overwhelming sense of deja vu.
Now she had two little boys depending on her,
and once again she was left to carry the weight alone.
But Lupita wasn't the type to stay down for long.
She dried her tears, signed the divorce papers, and moved forward.
She wasn't going to waste time waiting for a man who clearly didn't value her.
Her focus turned entirely to her kids and her dreams.
That's when she finally opened her own beauty selection.
It wasn't a massive place with shiny signs or high-end furniture, but it was hers.
Located just a few steps from her house, the salon became her sanctuary.
Every client who walked and got more than just a haircut or a makeover, they got a piece of Lupita's spirit.
She loved chatting with the women in the neighborhood, catching up on gossip, laughing, and sharing advice.
She still kept her administrative job, too, balancing both worlds, the rigid hours of the government office and the lively, creative energy of her salon.
The double work kept her so busy she didn't have much time to wallow in sadness.
Her friends admired her hustle.
Her mom admired her strength.
And her children adored her.
To the outside world, Lupida seemed unstoppable.
But even the strongest people have moments.
of doubt. Late at night, when the kids were asleep, she sometimes questioned why she had
let history repeat itself. Why had she believed Angel's promises again? Why had she let him
back in? These thoughts haunted her, but she tried to bury them under work, motherhood, and
resilience. Yet Un Hell wasn't finished with her. Like a storm that refuses to pass,
he came back once more.
Somehow, some way, he convinced her again.
Maybe he manipulated her with the children,
maybe he played on her kindness,
maybe she still hoped for a miracle.
Whatever the reason,
Lupita found herself back in the cycle.
And this time, the mask came off completely.
Angel's possessiveness grew darker, heavier.
He wanted to control her,
where she went, who she saw, how she dressed,
when she worked. His jealousy was suffocating. He interrogated her about her clients,
her friends, even her family gatherings. And when words weren't enough to enforce his control,
he turned to violence. It started small, grabbing her arm too tightly, raising his voice until
the walls shook. But soon the physical abuse escalated. Slaps, shoves, bruises she tried to hide under
makeup. Alongside the physical violence came the emotional warfare. Insults that chipped away at her
confidence. Humiliations that made her doubt herself. Threats that kept her trapped in fear.
Psychological abuse can be just as destructive as physical abuse, and Lupida endured both.
Every day became a battle. On the outside, she still wore her smile, still greeted her neighbors with
warmth, still worked tirelessly at her salon. But inside, she was crumbling. Anxiety attacks began
to take over. Depression followed. Her mother noticed. Margarita recalled her daughter
begging Unhell to leave her alone, to let her live in peace with her kids. Go, she told him.
Don't come back. My children and I don't need you, I've raised them myself. But Unhell
refused to leave. Instead, he doubled down. Margarita later recounted how he threatened
Lupita, warning that if she insisted on being free of him, he would take action against her.
Despite the hell she was living through, Lupita remained, at her core, the same person
she had always been, charismatic, hardworking, and full of light. Her friends admired her
courage. Her clients loved her energy. She was the type of work. She was the type of
woman who could light up a room even while carrying invisible scars.
By October of 2022, the tension had reached its peak.
On Sunday, October 23rd, Lupita attended the birthday party of one of her cousins.
She went with Unhell and her two children, trying to maintain some semblance of family
normalcy.
The party started off well, music, laughter, relatives catching up.
For a brief moment, Lupita allowed herself to relax.
But peace never lasted long with Unhell. Consumed by jealousy, he claimed another man at the party was staring at her too much. His rage flared instantly. His voice rose, his face twisted with fury, and he began confronting Lupida in front of others. Guests tried to calm him, but he wasn't having it. Finally, in a fit of anger, Unhell stormed out of the party, leaving behind a trail of tension that cut the festive mood.
mood in half. That night would mark the beginning of the darkest chapter yet. To be continued.
