Okay,
So here's the deal.
This story is about some seriously creepy stuff that happened to me on a cruise,
followed by another wild experience in Hawaii.
Buckle up, it's a bit of a ride.
So, it all started on this cruise I went on with a good friend.
We were just trying to chill and have fun, right?
Nothing fancy, just two people soaking in the ocean vibes.
Early on, this weird little incident popped up.
I noticed this dude, the I-patch guy, yeah, he literally wore an eye-patch, which kind of makes you suspicious automatically, was hanging around.
At first, I figured he was just some random passenger, maybe a bit odd but harmless.
Now, this I-patch dude, he wasn't exactly smooth.
The kind of guy who tries to be friendly but ends up being weird instead.
Like, one time, I caught him trying to mess with my towel.
No joke. Instead of asking nicely, he just kind of grabbed it. Honestly, I thought it was some
weird romantic gesture, but it was so awkward that it just felt off. If he thought that would impress me,
he was dead wrong. I even thought maybe my friend was in on some prank. Like they teamed up to
freak me out. So I brushed it off. I told myself, whatever, forget about it. For the rest of the day,
I kept to my room mostly, trying not to think about the whole thing.
Then, on the second to last day of the cruise, things got seriously creepy.
I was eating breakfast in the dining room, just minding my own business, when I suddenly felt
these hands on my shoulders, massaging.
I froze.
And then I heard this voice right behind me say, there's my angel.
I turned around and, yep, it was the eye-patch guy.
No warning, no asking.
Just straight up invading my space.
I didn't even hesitate, I smacked his hands away hard enough that people nearby turned to look.
I was pissed.
I told him straight up to back off and never touch me again.
Then I stormed out of their feeling totally violated.
After that, I told my friend what happened and asked her to keep an eye on her new boyfriend or whatever
because this guy was way too familiar with me now.
She looked at me, surprised, and said she had never even said,
spoken to him. That's when my stomach dropped, if she wasn't lying, then who was this guy?
Why was he creeping around me? From then on, I decided no more wandering alone. I stuck close to
my friend for the rest of the trip. We tried to enjoy the day, but the creepy vibes lingered.
That evening, when we got back to our cabin, I noticed a weird black line drawn across the door
frame. At first, I thought maybe someone marked it for housekeeping or something, but it felt weird,
and I was kind of buzzed, so I didn't say anything. I stripped down and jumped into bed,
hoping to forget everything. Within minutes, I was out cold. But then, I woke up, and I wasn't
alone. I thought I heard noises on the other side of the door. My friend was sleeping next to me,
but something felt wrong.
I got up quietly and peeked through the people.
And there he was.
I patch guy, standing right outside, fiddling with the door handle.
Now, here's where it gets intense.
Next to the door was this heavy globe on a brass stand,
meant to be a paperweight but also kind of like a mini save for my passport, license,
and car keys.
Without even thinking, I grabbed it, flung the door open,
and before he could react, I smashed that globe right into his face, right under his good eye.
He cursed so loud it probably echoed through the whole ship.
Then he bolted down the hall like a bat out of hell.
I slammed the door, locked it, dropped the globe back, and climbed back into bed.
I passed out pretty quickly after that.
My friend didn't even wake up.
Next day, when we docked, I saw him on the gangway.
He was wrapped up in bandages, probably a busted nose from the globe hit.
I couldn't help but laugh.
My friend and I joked the whole ride home about how I basically played my own Guardian Angel
and knocked some sense into that creepy one-eyed stalker.
I never figured out what his deal was.
The marker on the door.
I still don't know if it was his doing or just a coincidence.
The rooms had numbers anyway.
But honestly, there are plenty of nights.
guys with eyepatches out there, but this dude, he did nothing but feed the creepy stereotype.
Okay, so that was the cruise story, but wait until you hear about what happened to me in Hawaii.
This one's equally bizarre and way more unnerving.

I've been thinking we need to talk to him about.
He might not listen to me.
But yeah, as good a time as any.

It was the second week of September.
My boyfriend and I finally scored some time off work at the same time, rare for us,
so we booked a quick trip to Hawaii.
We wanted to make it special, you know.
The trip was everything we hope.
hoped for, fun, beautiful, and just the right mix of adventure and chill. We did all the touristy
stuff, Pearl Harbor, the stairway to heaven hike, Kona Brewery Tour, and even skydiving.
Yeah, I know, crazy, but it felt amazing to finally jump out of a plane. We stayed in this Airbnb
on the top floor of a tall building. The view was insane, like living above the clouds.
It was perfect, except, well, it wasn't as private.
as we thought. On the second or third day, we were having a lazy morning. The curtains were wide open,
sun pouring in, and we were, let's say, testing the mattress. Suddenly, my boyfriend glanced
toward the window and said, uh, babe, there's someone out there. I turned my head slowly and saw a man,
with a deep tan, standing on a platform outside the window. And he was staring right at us,
no shame, no pretending. Just straight up watching. If it had been late at night and I was drunk,
maybe I'd have waved or laughed it off. But it was morning. I was mortified. I hid under the covers,
like a kid trying to disappear, while my boyfriend shut the curtains. The mood? Completely ruined.
Dead. Buried about ten feet under the ground. I kept wondering, how long had he been there?
Was he recording us? What the heck was he even doing? My boyfriend and I tried to rationalize it, maybe a window washer. Bad timing? But it was an Airbnb, a private place, not a hotel. We couldn't just call someone and complain. So we laughed it off, shrugged, and moved on. We spent the day exploring and had a blast. I honestly didn't think about creepy guy again until the next day.
That day, after some beach time, we went up to the rooftop for selfies and to soak in the
view.
Planes were taking off and landing in the distance, everything was perfect.
Then, out of nowhere, the same dude from before popped up.
He gave me this crooked smile, nodded, and disappeared down the stairs before I could even react.
My blood ran cold.
How long had he been up there?
What was he doing?
He wasn't dressed like maintenance or security.
Plus, he was wearing a medical boot on his right foot, like he was injured and definitely
not working.
Part of me wanted to chase him down and demand answers.
But I'm not exactly huge or intimidating, so I figured that would probably end badly for me.
I told my boyfriend what happened.
He ran to the door and looked down the stairs, but the guy was gone.
We debated reporting it to security but hesitated.
admitting we were on the roof too felt awkward.
In the end, we locked the door tight and tried to enjoy the rest of our night.
But the next morning...
Yeah, that's when it got worse.
Around 6 a.m., I woke up and just lay there, trying to fall back asleep.
Suddenly, I heard noises from the hallway outside, shuffling sounds, like someone sliding something under the door.
Then, the doorknob jiggled.
I froze.
This wasn't a hotel. No room service mistake here, this was a private residence.
Quietly, I got out of bed, tiptoed to the door. The shuffling stopped as soon as I approached,
then I heard footsteps moving away. I looked through the people but saw nothing. Had he heard me
coming? I double-checked the locks, my heart pounding, and went back to bed. The whole situation
and freaked me out. I imagined the guy trying to sneak in to see us up close, invading our space.
I managed to fall asleep, but when I woke again around 7.30 a.m., my boyfriend was already
up. I asked if he'd heard anything weird. He said no, except he woke up a little earlier to
tapping on the window. My stomach dropped. We both got out of bed and pulled back the curtains.
There, on the glass, were two faint handprints pressed right where the curtains had been closed.
It was clear, he had pressed himself against the window to look inside our bedroom.
Probably without any safety harness.
Crazy, right?
Terrified, we went straight down to the lobby and told security everything.
At first, they didn't believe us until we showed them the handprints.
We told them about the guy with the boot, the roof incident, the whole creepy.
Ska. After a long chat, we left to get breakfast, still shaken. We never saw that guy again.
I don't know if security found him or he just gave up. Thankfully, the rest of the trip was peaceful.
We had a blast and left a glowing Airbnb review despite everything. Looking back, I'm glad for the
experience, even if it gave me a creepy story I'll be telling for years. Would I go back to
Hawaii. Absolutely. Would I stay in that same room? Yeah, probably. But if someday I read about a guy
falling off that building, I won't need a picture to know who it was. See, there's always a
reason to be cautious. But don't let creepy weirdos ruin your adventures. Sometimes, the best
stories come from the scariest moments. The end.
