Yeah. I mean, stuff is happening right now. As of Monday morning, hostages from Gaza are going back to Israel, prisoners also hostages, prisoners from Israel are going back to Gaza and the West Bank, a couple dozen hostages and 2,000 Palestinians freed from Israeli jails. We can talk about the verbiage of how the media and former President Barack Obama details who these people are, but this is a fantastic development. So far, the ceasefire is holding.

President Trump is in the Middle East, taking a victory lap, feeling very confident that nothing's going to break down in the coming days and weeks. He is called at the end of the war, and we certainly hope so. That's right. We certainly hope so. It's hard to fully believe, but I feel an amount of relief that the carnage element is hopefully over. I'm thrilled that people that have been held captive for two years are being reunited with their families. I am very happy for them and for the families that are being reunited and you know you read about how they're being seeing their families being shuttled off to hospitals to be given care to assess the damage and I can't help but think

about how in Gaza the prisoners being released are their families still alive are their hospitals for them to go to to seek care what are they returning to yes returning to the devastation it's hard To hold both of those things to be true. Like, I 100% am so happy that people are being reunited, but that doesn't exist without the reality of the other people as well. Here's a quote in the New York Times from someone in Gaza, Sayyad Abu Aita 44. They say, there's nothing to be happy about. My two daughters were killed. My home was destroyed and my health has deteriorated.

It is, I am sure, a mix of relief and despair. And how could it not be? You see the pictures of Gaza just completely leveled. What are you returning home to? But it is the start. It is positive. It just doesn't stop being completely heartbreaking. Yeah, amidst all that.

And then, you know, people there, you know, thinking positively about the rebuilding that needs to happen. and hopefully that does and is the best version possible of it. Yeah, Trump is over there and he addressed the Israeli Knesset and did his thing because it's like a campaign speech to him. So he's reading his prepared remarks and then he rambles off. What? He said the president of Israel should pardon Prime Minister Netanyahu like prematurely. Cool.

We look at past genocides at the end. end of the war, the aggression, you know, with the Holocaust or the Rwanda genocide, universally, the bad guys were reviled, you know. The perpetrators of the genocide? The perpetrators, I'll say perpetrators of the genocide of the aggression were not held in any, held in any kind of esteem or regard, and that's not what we're dealing with here. Instead, you have the President of the United States saying, pardon this man, pardon the man that everybody hates.

It reminds me of the, um, uh, it's advancedism, I guess, nowadays, but this sort of like, be grateful. Show your gratitude. Show your gratitude for what we did is what, what, uh, they always say when they talk about, like, the end of slavery, where it's like, yeah, you're welcome. The white people's ended the slavery. Um, and just sort of like, why aren't you grateful enough for this thing that we stopped doing? Yeah.

That person quoted in the New York Times who lost their two daughters probably isn't expressing enough gratitude to President Trump and Israel for ending the carnage. Yeah, for calling them animals for two years. This is so bizarre. Like Trump, you know, while this is going on and while families are being reunited and there is not a sense of finality, but a sense of progress in what has been going on in the last two years. But now, you know, Trump is over there trying to. explain the deal, really. They were signing a document. He says, we're going to be signing a document

that's going to spell out a lot of rules and regulations and lots of other things. It's very comprehensive. And nobody knows what's in it. Trump and the leaders of Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey have signed some document. And they made a big deal out of it. He showed his signature. And it's like, what does this have to do with things? You know, like, there's, there's, there's, this a confusing amount of mid-east relations as if this is a big grand mid-east agreement and not a fragile ceasefire still. But yeah, he's

treating it like, look at this like big other is like kind of putting it under the umbrella of like his foreign diplomacy in the region generally. Well, this is the eighth war he's stopped so he says, right? It's like... Is that going to get him into heaven? Certainly isn't going to get him the Nobel Peace Prize, I guess. Yeah, no peace prize, no heaven.

Everyone is upset about the fact that he didn't get that peace prize, including Putin. Thanks for that guy's opinion. I do feel happy that or relieved that we're at this stage. It's just hard to celebrate when it's so fucking tragic and awful.

And I don't know what's going to happen for them at, you know, what's this going to look like? And how much of the Israeli settlers are going to keep the land that they have taken, and yeah, so we'll see. and why you're losing credibility, because you're talking for now five minutes with the Vice President of the United States about this story regarding Tom Homan, a story that I've read about, but I don't even know the video that you're talking about. Meanwhile, low-income women can't get food because the Democrats and Chuck Schumer have shut down the government. Right now, we're trying to figure out how to pay our troops because Chuck Schumer has shut down the government.

You are focused on a bogus story. You're insinuating criminal wrongdoing against a guy who has done nothing wrong instead of focusing on the fact that our country is struggling because our government's shut down. Let's talk about the real issues, George. I think the American people would benefit much more from that than from you going down some weird left-wing rabbit hole where the facts clearly show that Tom Homan didn't engage in any criminal wrongdoing.

I asked you whether Tom Homan accepted $50,000, as was heard on an audio tape recorded by the FBI in September 2024, and you did not answer the question. Thank you for your time this morning. Like, you should go, you should go watch that and the idea like well i've only seen it in reporting well if you saw it in reporting then you should look into it as you say you are the vice president so maybe you could like follow up on the bribe obviously it's a lie it's obviously a lie but it's not a good lie that lie makes it seem like you don't do your job yeah also there's this line that he says that i'm going to get the exact quote because it's beautiful it's one of those beautiful things he does I'm not sure you answered the question. Are you saying that he did not accept the $50,000?

George, this story has been covered ad nauseum. He did not take a bribe. Did he accept $50,000? I'm sure that in the course of Tom Homan's life, he has been paid more than $50,000 for services. Yes. Is it a mug? Like a fucking piece of shit.

He says, is it illegal to take a payment for doing services? Well, no, it's not illegal to take a payment. for doing services, but that's not the situation being laid out in front of you, JD. It's that, it's that fucking tweet. It's like that, like, the right wing conservatives love to do like, oh, so it's like illegal to like plan stuff with your friends. Yeah, we're talking about conspiracy. It's a conspiracy, like conspiracy to do fraud.

So it's illegal to just like hang out and make phone calls? No, he did, like, it was a quid pro quo situation with like Ukraine. What are you talking about a phone call? It's legitimately the internet hippo tweet. Is that? It's that. That is exactly what I'm referring to, yes. I hate how we, I apologize for saying it's like the meme, right?

But it is. But it is. We must credit. Memes exist for a reason. And JD being like, so it's illegal to like take money for services. Well, we're talking about a bribe JD. All right. Here's JD Vance being asked about if he agrees with President Trump,

that Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker should go to jail. Well, I think Governor Pritzker has certainly failed to keep the people of Illinois safe. And it's interesting to me, you know, Governor Pritzker will talk a lot, I'm sure, about how bad Donald Trump is, about how bad I am and about how bad the administration is. He is the governor of a state that where its biggest city has murder rates that rival the most violent places in the third world, George. Why is he so mad at Donald Trump for trying to keep Chicago and safe? he should be mad at the criminals that he has failed to keep at bay. We're trying to help him, and we're trying to help the residents of his biggest city.

I wish that he would let us because he certainly isn't doing the job himself. I asked if you agree with President Trump that Governor Pritzker has committed a crime. Well, I think that Governor Pritzker has allowed a lot of people to be killed in the city of Chicago and elsewhere, George. I think that it's disgraceful, and I think that he absolutely should suffer some consequences for the fact. fact that there are thousands of innocent Chicagoans who are dead because he failed to do his job. It's really a yes or no question. Do you believe he's committed to crime? George, you're going to keep on asking this question. I'm going to keep on telling you that Governor Prisker has failed to do his job. He should suffer some consequences, whether he's

violated a crime. Ultimately, I would leave to the courts, but I certainly think that he has violated his fundamental oath of office. That seems pretty criminal to me. I'd leave it to a judge jury to decide whether he's actually violated the crime. Do you think that the president should maybe do that too? You think maybe he's asking the question because unlike you, the president is out there saying that he did do

a crime and should be in jail for crimes that he can't articulate? J.D., this guy sucks. As the governor of a state, if we're saying that everything that happens in that state is on the governor, then you would say that everything that happens

in the country is on no we don't do that executive of that that's what i kept thinking but that's why they're like well that's why we're we're putting in the troops we're doing the job you wouldn't do now i think it's i think it's right for george stephanopolis i do think it's one of trump's best sloppelopoulos i think it's right for him to keep asking this question right like oh yeah he said specific question right that your boss said that the guy should be in jail what do you think Um, but also we could, you know, I think it just feels that I've, I've pointed out so many times that Memphis or wherever has a higher murder rate and you seem to not care. There are mass shootings. Like, while Vance is speaking, there are mass shootings going on in Mississippi and South Carolina, but because they don't, those don't fit their narrative. We're just not going to, we're not going to talk about them. We don't not yet. We don't know. We don't know. Everywhere is, everywhere is going to fit their narrative eventually. They just have to find the right. right way to spin it but no that's not the focus right now and i don't think they should be sending

troops to mississippi and south carolina either my argument is no don't do nothing it's certainly frustrating though or every but i again i will say good job george i mean it's not the answer we want because he's going to keep spinning but he's calmly pointing out you didn't answer the question again you didn't answer the question so anybody with three brain cells should be able to watch that and watch the man slipping and sliding around trying to avoid the question and continue to not answer it and then just pawned off

on the judges and not address the fact that the president of the United States, his boss, is the one that floated this idea. He is weaseling. He's weaseling. Don't let him weasel. He ends it with a quote, maybe we can remember in the future. He has violated his fundamental oath of

office. That seems pretty criminal to me. Going to keep that one in our pocket, J.D. our producer has pointed out to me that there are National Guard deployments in Memphis. I agree, and I will rebut, I will add, that's not what they're talking about, though. Right.

That's not, the president has never said that the governor of Tennessee should go to jail, even though they're deploying National Guards. It's a similar situation, yes. Why, right? Like, which ones go to jail? They're not tweeting about Memphis. They're not all over the place talking about Memphis.

Memphis and they're saying oh no look we're equal opportunity send the troops to hurt Americans because look at what we're doing in this city that has a Democratic mayor I believe no they want to put they're putting targets on the backs of the highest profile Democrats leading the charge against him who presumably will be running for president in a couple years against Donald Trump maybe he presumes that very off putting lies from Mr. Vance it's interesting even like it's just he's he Trump is a liar we've talked about this we know he is a liar but he's not as deliberate or obvious like it sometimes it just seems like Vance is sort of like trying to convince himself

of his own lies that he knows he has to tell for example when J.D. is asked about crime and how well like actually crime is down in both of these places you're attacking he just like kind of has to lie

to himself in real time and like convince himself we can watch this clip is that the case are you seriously considering invoking the insurrection act well the president's looking at all his options right now he hasn't felt he needed to but we have to remember why are we talking about this christin because crime has gotten out of control in our cities because our ice agents the people who are enforcing our immigration laws have faced a 1,000 percent increase in violent attacks against them we have people right now who are going out there who are doing the job the president asked them to do who are enforcing our immigration laws they're being assaulted they're being beaten they're being shot at the problem here is not the insurrection act or

whether we actually invoke it or not the problem is the fact that the entire media in this country cheered on by a few far-left lunatics have made it okay to tee off on American law enforcement we cannot accept that in the United States of America we want everybody black or white rich or poor to be safe in the United States of America. But to do that, we have to empower our law enforcement agents to keep us safe. That's what we're talking about doing. A couple of points here. First of all, an Illinois judge said that state and local authorities have been able to handle protest activity, that ICE that other federal agencies have been

able to continue to do their work. Crime is down in both Chicago and Portland. But is there a rebellion here? That's what would trigger an insurrection act. Is it imminent? Kristen, crime is down in Chicago and Portland, often because they're so overwhelmed at the local level, they're not even keeping the statistics properly. Just a couple of weeks ago, we had an ICE office get shot at by a far left assassin who was trying to kill our law enforcement officers. He fortunately didn't kill law enforcement officers. He did kill some other innocent people in the process. I've been waiting for this, for this justification. What's the line that they're going to use about the crime?

that crime is down in these cities, that crime has been going down. How are they going to spin that? Oh, okay, you're just so overwhelmed by crime that you're not reporting it. That's fucking ridiculous and chilling and terrifying. You're just going to say that and let that go uncontested. Go ahead, Jonathan.

He is saying he's an absurdly confident liar because he's saying, well, the fact that the numbers are down is indicative that the numbers are higher, right? So if the numbers are higher, look at how much crime there is. If the numbers are lower, well, they're so overwhelmed they can't keep up with the crime. Where did you pull that one from? Right? It's like even when he's like talking about like when he brought up in that other clip, he's like, you know, low income women aren't getting food. Do you care about that? Did you have you ever care about that? Yeah. Like, do you mean like the childless, the childless cat lady? that you despise aren't getting enough food like what are you talking about in that in the end of that clip we have to

point out he's talking he brought up the ice shooting the far left ice shooting which we I we have to say wasn't a far left person as far as we can tell seemed like a weird like trolley nihilist the bullet that allegedly had

anti-ice written on it Sharpie written yeah you can hear that chant anti ice anti ice all the time it's everywhere so that's absurd but also I think it's important to note important who cares no this matters piece of shit but like

he's saying like they're trying to kill our ice agents but actually they shot innocent people they're innocent people now excuse me I thought they were all criminal alien invader terrorists who you've detained

to me at least if those people were rehired because they were they were given these RIFs by mistake or if Russ Vote wanted to fire them and then someone else above him noticed hey we need people to work on measles outbreaks because we're going to be having more of those yeah is this like reason like incompetence or like the reasonable person being like actually like let's not go too far with this a lack of communication yeah there were another 176 people fired at SISA. That's the cybersecurity and infrastructure security agency. Because DHS says that we want to get them back on mission.

They were fired so that they can get back on mission? Well, so that the agency can get back on mission of having fewer people, I guess. To protect our cybersecurity. Okay. There used to be more than 2,500 employees at SISA, and now, it is under 900. I don't know. It just feels like cybersecurity.

Like we do tend to have other countries hack our shit. It does break down our infrastructure like that happens. Something that we desperately need. Unless we like it. And I mean, Doja already put all of our personal information into a database, right, consolidated all of it. So it should be much easier for anybody to hack into and steal. Yeah, didn't Dominion voting just get bought by some.
