Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello to all of you, beautiful movers and shakers and newsbreakers. This week we watched and talked about the Daily Wire Plus film, Run, Hide, Fight, colon, infidels, exclusively with our patrons and YouTube members. We would love to share the whole thing with all of you, but of course, it's a movie owned by someone else, and YouTube doesn't allow that. Fair enough. The movie does, spoilers, suck, but fine, that makes sense. So what you're about to watch is a supercut of our favorite moments from that stream.
Starting point is 00:00:34 You'll see some short clips of the movie, hear us talk about it, et cetera. Truly, the best way to watch specifically movies like this. And just to catch you up on what the movie's even about, it's kind of like die hard if die hard was bad, mixed with like true lies, if true lies was bad at college, if everyone there was stupid and or racist. Enjoy. That's the American way. Welcome back to stream of more news. We're watching Run Hide Fight tonight
Starting point is 00:01:22 with all of you fine folks. We also are joined by our very own Some More News director. Will Gord. Will Gord is here with us. Is also here. Hello, everybody. Thank you for having me.
Starting point is 00:01:38 You're our in-house expert. A resident filmmaker to tell us about the lighting. How good this is it. I mean, I went to film film. Nah. So I know. You're just also here, okay.
Starting point is 00:01:51 The me's. I know all about the mees and the Sends. And a light correction, Katie, I'm so sorry. We're not watching Run Hyde Fight. Oh, right. We're watching Run Hyde Fight Infidels. I'm so sorry. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:02:03 It's a part of the expanding Run Hyde Fight averse. And it's not your fault for not being able to see all of the DailyWire Plus shows leading up to this. Yeah. A culmination of like decades of filmmaking. Yeah, I've missed that. For the context, the Daily Wire, I'm sure everybody knows, is a right-wing news political rag run by various Hollywood failures. Ben Shapiro, Jeremy Boring, Michael Knowles, Matt Walsh.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Those are the main ones. And they have hated Hollywood and the movies that Hollywood makes for their entire lives, I think, because of all the left-wing ideology that slipped into these the woke movies. It's too much. So they started their own production company
Starting point is 00:02:50 and made a bunch of movies, lady ballers you've seen because we made you watch it and some documentaries. And one thing they did originally because their goal was to make non-political things, things that appeal to everybody.
Starting point is 00:03:05 And so the first thing they did was by a movie called a Run Hyde Fight that was already made. It was not made for them. It was just, a movie, like die-hard at a high school, basically. It's whatever. And the success, I guess, of that led them to make this movie, which is not a direct sequel.
Starting point is 00:03:21 It's a spiritual sequel. And it is very clearly written by and for the Daily Wire, despite the original director-writer being the only credit in the script writing for this film. Okay. It is very clear what's going on. And I guess, you know, we'll have to fill you in on all the Penn Dragon Cycle lore that I'm sure is peppered in throughout this movie. There's this big multiversal war. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Okay. So, Kang, right? Anyway, a lot of backstory to the actor in this as well. And production problems throughout a lot of safety issues. Maybe we'll see it happen. I don't know. Should we start this fucking piece of shit? I think we should start it.
Starting point is 00:04:05 I really can't wait. Not if you're going to ask me why we just can't kill this guy again. Shoot. Why can't we just kill this guy? Did he say fuck you? Did we just kill this guy? Why can't we just kill this guy? I need subtitles.
Starting point is 00:04:24 I knew that this was Mogadishu Somalia. You didn't need to tell me. The conversation was about how they can't just kill this guy. They need to arrest him. What's his name? Do we know his name? Clay Saunders. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 00:04:35 He's a colonel. So Colonel Saunders. I'm not just. joking. No one clocked that. I think they probably did it on purpose because it's a fake movie. So far good.
Starting point is 00:04:51 Great opening shot of two guys talking. You're from Syria. I'd love to go somewhere like that one day. You should never be nice to a person because they might be a secret terrorist, which I assume this guy is. That ill-fitting suit is a dead giveaway. Or it's not a great production, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Look at that suit, come on. I will do any work. I'm glad to be here. America is the best. Well, give it a couple months. See if you still feel that way. The juxtaposition between the like cinematic lighting and the like right-wing talking point stuff
Starting point is 00:05:36 is really unsettling to me. Yeah, it feels really out of place. Like it's just sort of like you're going off a checklist. Like we'll say that. Make sure to say that. Make sure to imply that. I'm waiting for her to say that she has to get home to her to feed her cats. Right?
Starting point is 00:05:51 Like they're going to have her say that. Now, I don't know if we missed this. But in that scene, was there like some red flag that she was too woke to see that she shouldn't hire this guy? Did you see the way the guy looked? If you consider just the general fact that he is from Syria to be a red flag, then, yeah, they have implied it. But if you're normal, no.
Starting point is 00:06:18 Oh, well, there's a rest. Now I know. Well, you have to do some symbolism on your way out of the job interview that you aced. They're chanting ICE out Gaza in. We demand that Lawton University denounce ICE condemn the Zionist apartheid government of Israel and replace our school's team named Saints with something more inclusive and less triggering. It's just like half the things she's saying are reasonable and half are just like so cartoonish that like what movie is this? What am I supposed to?
Starting point is 00:06:56 How many Jews are in Palestine? How many Arabs in Israel? The answer is zero Jews in Palestine, millions of Arabs in Israel. So which is the apartheid state? They're doing a Jubilee episode. The idea that because there are no Jews in Gaza means that Gaza or Palestine is really the apartheid state is. there's nothing an old white heterosis male could do for us except resign and make way for a person of color also just like these weird caricatures it's like because if you're doing an action movie which
Starting point is 00:07:31 I still think this is supposed to be then why are you having these like weird like sketch comedy versions of of people you hate I mean I know why yeah bad acting and like the writing and stuff but like tonally it's like now we're going to do like little skit for our online friends and do the skit, but also it's like an action movie. We're going to do this. Makes no sense. Every day we work for a long. Good on you.
Starting point is 00:07:56 I'll handle the devil's workshop. Have a good night, man. You too. If you're trying to go under the radar, wouldn't you not? Right. Right. Yeah. Say all the things.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Yeah, he would pretend that he wasn't religious at all. But maybe he's trying to make the point that this place is so woke that I can be super terroristy and they'll still, like, but they can't do both because then it makes, this character makes no sense. He's bad at it. The villain obviously wouldn't like make people aware that they were from Syria. He doesn't need to say he's from Syria. He doesn't need to talk about Allah. But he needs to, so the audience knows that the left is going to destroy the West by letting these people in, despite the things that they say. Don't do it. Me? Not if it's in. Not if it's in. tired opening line.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Well, I was just going to say that's a pretty cool class, huh? Yeah. We done here? Do you think he'll win her as a prize by the end? Do you think he'll get the prize? Yeah. I hope he gets the prize. You know, some people think men shouldn't randomly approach women anymore.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Let me guess. You disagree. You should bring a friend tonight, if that makes you more comfortable. So they're like making fun of like, well, you can't talk to women at all anymore. But also, he's giving this gesture of like, you can't, you can't talk to women at all anymore. But also, he's giving this gesture of like, you can bring you bring you. your friend if it makes you more comfortable, which is like implying that it's like a correct
Starting point is 00:09:21 concern to have? I think they're just trying to have as many scenes with them as possible before she becomes a terrorist hostage. It's also clear that like Jonathan Majors is going to be used sparingly. Like they were like, we're going to have like a couple days with him.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Clearly not the protagonist of this movie, like the star, but the guy who's charming this woman is the protagonist. Anyone can go? listen to Captain Saunders tomorrow? Who's that now? His whole schick is warning America that Muslims are pursuing a deliberate strategy about
Starting point is 00:09:54 breeding us in an attempt to demographically overwhelm and eventually supplant a Judeo-Christian way of life. I mean, he's the polar opposite of those brain-dead protesters, and he's got a point. We've got this guy who's a right-wing idiot, but he's actually just saying all the things that the daily wire people believe, so I don't know why they portrayed him that way. No, I think they think that's them. And they're like, yeah, I'm a little bit annoying, but I'm like right about everything. I don't think they think it's annoying.
Starting point is 00:10:22 No, they don't. They think that this is like the funny guy, right? He's the side character. He's the friend character who like kind of says stuff a little weird. But the stuff he says is also weird. But it's their beliefs. But they think that these guys are good and normal. Yeah, I don't think they mind being this guy, though.
Starting point is 00:10:43 I think they're fine with being the guy. and they're just like, Michael Knowles doesn't think that he should be the star, that he's like the hot guy, but he's like fine being this guy because he probably thinks that everyone thinks he's funny, even though they're all across the board, like, you're really annoying and you should shut up.
Starting point is 00:11:00 And he's like, they all think I'm hilarious. No, you're just a dickhead, but, you know. Turn it down. I beg of you, to some of us, studying is important. It's Friday night. There's official quiet hours, and I don't want to have to call them. Are you threatening us, you damn commie?
Starting point is 00:11:14 Go use the first floor. It smells very bad in there. Rami, how about you coming and join us? No, I am here to learn. Can you have your party without music? We don't negotiate with terrorists. You tell him, Deb. I'll turn down a bit, okay?
Starting point is 00:11:25 Okay, so they included that scene to say, we're not insane. We don't think it's fine to call this guy a terrorist. He is so ethnic that he's studying on a Friday night. Yes. I'm sorry. No, how? How did they get this? Hey, now.
Starting point is 00:11:44 How did they get this? Because they only played five seconds of it. I don't know. If I'm Steve Jenkins, I'm like, I'm suing anyway. Dishwala now? Dishwala now? Hey, no. That's more than four seconds.
Starting point is 00:12:03 That is more than four seconds. They got it. They got the rights. But then it's out. It is incredible how this is a third time they've done that. Just like remember this song from specifically the late 90s? Well, here's four seconds of it. But that's all we can get.
Starting point is 00:12:18 But it's the real genre for that too. It is weird. It's why is he, why is he listening to that? He is not listening to Tishwala. I am waiting for like breakfast at Tiffany's or something. It's like pop up.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Let's just do a quick summary of what we know right now. We know that there's a Syrian guy who's a terrorist. Yes. Apparently. I mean, we don't, yeah. And then we know that the. protesters are sort of like naively in cahoots
Starting point is 00:12:51 with them to do something. I'm sorry, just as like a movie making thing, like in Die Hard they take over the building, I'm guessing, around 17 minutes. We would think this is too far into the movie for them to not have done the thing yet.
Starting point is 00:13:07 It's too far. It's too much. It's so poorly paste. It's badly paced. Like I'm not saying everything has to be like perfectly save the cat everything, but I am. I'm saying that. No, but there's a reason. It's popular and people follow a formula.
Starting point is 00:13:23 There's a common language in film. At a pace. I mean, there has not been an inciting incident yet, or I guess the inciting incident is October 7th or something. The inciting incident is them not being able to shoot the guy at the beginning of the movie. That's an action opener. There is no, there has not been. an inciting incident.
Starting point is 00:13:46 The inciting incident is hiring the terrorist. And I'm not trying to be too like, oh, there's no, like, the thing that makes the movie happen hasn't happened, is what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:13:58 There's still a chance that this movie could turn out to be good. We don't know. It's only been 45 minutes. The terrorism hasn't happened yet. The premise needs to happen soon. This is just like a slice of life at a liberal university.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Oh, see, they're flirting over there and over there. This really takes me back. Assad Ahmadi's final appeal was denied today. Any thoughts on that, given the large role you played in his capture? I was like somebody did their homework. What kind of reporter would I be if I didn't? Like most.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Oh, God! Ugh! She did her homework by commenting on a major news story that was on TV. All the journalists are down there, no anything who's... No, any, looks anything up. unlike our president, who's the smartest guy in the world. Did the terrorists and the leftist, woke leftists collaborators, did they plan for this to be on the day of General Saunders' speech?
Starting point is 00:14:59 Or was that an oversight? I think it was an oversight. I think it was just sort of a thing that happened. He's alarmingly greasy. Right? Like, he's, he's, looks greasy. Who is? That guy.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Listen, it might be really really. hot in the studio and there's nothing he can do about it. You don't know. True, true, true. They have nobody. It was a bad day on set. It might be 85 degrees on set. You don't know. Might be stuck in a house. There's like instruction going on. Yeah. There's nothing to do.
Starting point is 00:15:29 There's incessant hammering. You can't open a window. You can't. There are three ways Islam will conquer the West. Through immigration. Through the wounds of our women. And by using our old Western freedoms against us, even to kill you. The beginning and the movie Big Bad the whole time.
Starting point is 00:15:53 All these people could have chosen to watch a good movie. There's still a chance. And there's still a chance that this movie could turn out to be good. All right. It's only been 45 minutes. Well, 45 minutes and the like the inciting incident is... Because their ultimate goal. It's just about to happen.
Starting point is 00:16:11 It hasn't even happened yet. Like the student, the students taking over the society isn't even it. The terrorism hasn't happened yet. The premise needs to happen soon. This is just like slice of life at a liberal. They're flirting over there and over there. I guess the slap is the first of the break in to act.
Starting point is 00:16:31 That's true. 45 minutes into the thing. Okay. This is a movie that has said. And hide from what is coming. We have to fight. Perfect timing. You missed the titular line.
Starting point is 00:16:50 He has security that tackles him to... Oh, Jesus Christ. Oh, my. This whole thing is like trying to illustrate their wish fulfillment, obviously, we've stated this. But about what our protests even are. Because obviously, leftists or people that share these beliefs are against violence or just murdering their fellow students. Are you kidding me, terrorism?
Starting point is 00:17:24 Are you fucking kidding me? These are the scenes that they actually wish had played out at the universities when people were protesting what was happening in Gaza. But it's just so fucking annoying. But of course, these incidents at universities are more likely perpetrated by white supremacist great replacement theory guys. 100%. 100%. Like, that's what's so fucking frustrating. I mean, so far, like, it's just like half, okay, so half the protagonists are like spouting
Starting point is 00:17:59 daily wire talking points. Half the villains are spouting daily wire talking points. Like, everybody's kind of just spouting daily wire shit. And it's like, so who do you, what do you believe? What do you want us to feel about like these, they kind of agree with each other, but they don't? Like, what are you trying to, so silly. Also, the, uh, the muzzle flashes on all this gunfire. It looks really, really bad. It's really, really bad. Video copilot.net style from like 20. So the kid, the main kid, like, immediately became like a guy to like start shooting. Like he just immediately had courage to shoot back against the terrorists. He works out and he's an all-American kid.
Starting point is 00:18:46 Of course he was prepared. He just stood up and started running. He just got shot in the chest. What the hell is going on here? He's one of our war fighters, Will. Will you, I understand why you're confused being a fucking liberal But that's right there is a real man
Starting point is 00:19:14 A real man can take a bullet He can fall from a window Just like our president As soon as that sniper chooses another target Are you run? I know you can run I got friends here I can't just leave Listen to me In the first scene
Starting point is 00:19:30 He grabs a gun and he's like shooting at terrorists But then they come out with this scene and he's like, you okay? Are you ready for this? Are you brave enough? You know, and he's like scared. It's like, we just saw him like shooting his gun and being an action hero from the beginning. Right. It's a terrible script choice from like a character.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Yeah, 100%. There's nowhere from to go now. And why is he, are you ready for this? Yeah, I am. I saved you. I shot the guy. I did the thing. I did the thing that you said.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Literally. I'm the title of the movie. I did it. Like, they have to make their protagonist someone. who's on their side from the beginning. They couldn't make him like a liberal. He could be like, maybe I kind of agree with the protesters.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Maybe I should go out and join them. I don't know, whatever. And now he's learning the, his arc is learning the truth of the matter, which is like Islam is bad and he has to kill people or whatever it is. But like, that's what the arc would be. But there is nowhere for him to go. But they refuse to do the movie thing if it would violate their rules of how. things must be in the to make us right forever it's not even effective propaganda yeah you don't have
Starting point is 00:20:41 you don't have no journey of no like any sense of like growth or like changing of of a mind so like why would anybody watching this who like why would it be effective to somebody like who you propagandizing to if you don't start like at a point like maybe you're watching the movie and you kind of think like this guy maybe like these are your feelings and you're very empathetic but he experiences this and maybe you can, through the power of empathy, watching a movie, like, experience that along with him and change your mind along with him. No, it's a story to prove that this character was right the entire time.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Much like Lady Ballers. It's like the same, you know, fundamental script problem that you can't get through if you don't have anywhere for a character to go. Yeah, it's run, hide, fight, new norm. It's new norming, and then we're fighting and we're hiding. All I'm saying is we get out of here just long. enough to come back with some real firepower.
Starting point is 00:21:36 We're going to leave long enough to go get more firepower and come back. We're not going to see Jonathan Majors until the end of the fucking movie when he comes and shoots the guy in the fucking head. He's going to be like the rock in The Furious Seven where he's in the hospital
Starting point is 00:21:50 and then he flexes out of the thing where he's gone for like an hour and a half. We only have Jonathan Majors for two days, y'all. This one's going to be wild, folks. Taking off the gloves. Pluto TV, free and what have you, the top guns and such. My favorite movie on Pluto TV at the moment is called Hellnino. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:22:16 It's all weather stuff. That's what we're doing right now, folks. Actors combined with weather things. Everybody got it? Everybody got the bit? Okay, we're on board. All right, let's go. So here's the cast of my favorite Pluto TV movie, Hellnino.
Starting point is 00:22:32 And warning, some of these are going to be a bit of a stretch. Starring Kevin Frostner, Climite, Damon, E. Blizzard Beth Olson, Rachel McAssad Rain, Freeze Ving Rains. Winda Hamilton, Humid Thurman, Amy Shum, Mewood. Clouds. That one's about clouds. Danny Glovercast, Colin Fahrenheit, Olivia Munnell Cloud, Galgadu point, galgadu point, Dust in Hoffman, Clu-Doo-Fall, Clea-Dufall, Clia-Dufal, Bobby Moisture Hand, math snowpack McConaughey, Noah, Wiley, Lake Noah, NOAA.
Starting point is 00:23:35 Do you guys get it? Ozone Saldania, Dermott Mel Rainey, Chillin McDermott, Forecast Whitaker, The late Fogger Moore, the late Gavin McCloud, the late Kelvin Van Peebles, and the late Rutgers showers, directed by Martin Scorhazy, What is this? Why? Jonathan, why? Pluto TV. Gulfstream now? They never.
Starting point is 00:24:10 I'm an expatriate of the Islamic state in Iraq and Al-Shah. Your imperialism would not allow you to leave us alone in peace, pursuing the ways of Allah. No, it was destroyed. By wokeness. So many in your country cannot even be bothered to produce children, but this is a day that you will tell yours about. We're not. We won't have kids. I like everyone
Starting point is 00:24:40 and Bruce's... I'm gay. Yeah, don't you know that they would throw your kind off of a roof? That's the whole idea of the movie. And making the point that
Starting point is 00:25:02 you can't be bothered to have enough children, which is the gripe of the Elon's and the conservatives. Run Hyde fight is like a normal movie. It's not like great and it's like whatever and it's probably like right wing coded in a lot of ways but it's not like by the way here's our list of propaganda
Starting point is 00:25:20 talking points that we need to make sure we say in every single scene here's our opinion of these people. Here's our opinion of these people and here's the opinion. Like it's all that stuff and I feel like he wrote a script that was okay we got we'll do the terrorists, we'll do the left wing, we'll do this, we'll do this and then they gave it to the Daily Wire And it's like, well, make sure to say this.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Make sure to say this. We have to do this. You know, like there's so many, already there's so many things in here that don't belong in a movie. Especially a movie made by people who hate shoehorned in politics and movies allegedly. Rob, you filthy. There's no way you can hear my game through my headphones. What is this racist fucking piece of shit doing? Why is he still alive?
Starting point is 00:26:04 He's the every man. He's the representation of Michael Knowles. They're like, well, make him like that. Why are we supposed to like this fucking racist? Like, what do you? No, he's going to die because he's, because he's overtly racist. I feel like he's going to emerge victorious and like crown himself king of racism. And everyone's going to cheer.
Starting point is 00:26:24 I should have gone to a trade school. Yes, you got it. You got it in there. Should have gone to trade school. University, liberal universities are bad for you. You shouldn't go to college, everybody. trade school only. They got it in.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Incredible. Why would you... This is them. This is the daily wire. That was my average guy. Home schooling's pretty good, right guys? Hey, you ever... You want to talk about homeschooling right now?
Starting point is 00:26:49 I know there's like terrorism going on, but I think homeschooling is pretty good. God. Is he going to have a moment at the end where he's like, I saved the day, but I shouldn't have been so racist? No. His racism saved the day. The last thing that the... I don't know his name.
Starting point is 00:27:08 The Indian character heard was a racial slur directed at him. At him. And then he dies. And then the guy who said the racial slur is like, I'm kind of saving the day here and kicking ass. Yeah. And I know, like, even in this movie, I don't expect him to have comeuppance. But at the end, I would like him to be like, I wish my friend, who's my friend, hadn't heard me call him a racial slur. as at the end of his life.
Starting point is 00:27:37 I wish that wasn't the last thing he heard. The thing that they would have done if they knew how to make a movie, and this is just like cliche, but they would have had that character and the Indian guy, team have to rely on one another to survive this and then learn that actually like they, they, you know, can be friends and whatever. Yeah, if it was a completely different movie
Starting point is 00:28:03 written by completely different people that'd be great, Will. That would be great. Like, that's something Ben Shapiro believes. Like, I know Ben Shapiro himself goes, uh, at like some of the gutter racism. And you know Ben Shapiro's like, well, we shouldn't do that. But like, we wrote a whole up.
Starting point is 00:28:19 But we got it. We got it. You screw. Yeah. But like, uh, so. That's the deal that we've made. And so he's watching this and he sees all of his, like, the people who work for him, like, laughing at the stuff.
Starting point is 00:28:30 And he's like, well, I guess I won't say anything about how we shouldn't make the good guys just like overtly racist. Right. But they are. They are and they can't, you know. We're just up on the second floor. Oh, fuck. Comedy.
Starting point is 00:28:48 That's good. That was good. I liked it. That was good. Who is this? Terrence Kurt. Campus security. You think they named him Kirk on purpose?
Starting point is 00:29:00 Like, for real. Like, the thing that they complain about so much, they're like, oh, everyone puts like all their politics and movies. Even woke movies, don't do this. They're not like this. Why are you, you're creating a new genre of shit. And, like, competition with something that doesn't exist. It's just so, it's so bad.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Your turn. Read. No. They would have shot her. Yeah. They can't have that happen because she's the prize for the guy at the end. but like they would have just shot her
Starting point is 00:29:49 this movie does think action sequences are just shooting back and forth there's no way action like setups and structure there's no dynamic going on there's just there's just in the wide open
Starting point is 00:30:07 a sense of like space right like in all those and there's no back and forth like oh they're gaining oh no it's like there's like tension or anything no we just shoot for a while sometimes you see a squib drop it
Starting point is 00:30:19 oh oh hey hey hey hands by your hand He did me. Yeah. No, he's not one of them. Yeah. There you go. That's two.
Starting point is 00:30:31 That's two. Your dad with my friend. He's in really good shape for having been shot in the chest, by the way, yesterday. Maybe this is a dream sequence. We don't know. That's a good point. Could be. He's requested a helicopter bring him and his father to a fully-fueled airplane at Dallas Airport.
Starting point is 00:30:55 His father. Ibrahim is Assad al-Madi's son. Don't you just kill these guys? I asked the same thing in the first shot of the movie. Oh, that was his dad thought. And John and Majors was against it, which shows that his growth is learning that you should just shoot these guys. I did, sorry, I did want to actually talk about this really, really briefly
Starting point is 00:31:18 because we have all seen one of the final scenes of this movie online shared many, many times. And if you watch the movie, which we didn't. then you'll notice that the first scene of this movie presents a moral quandary of whether or not you should extrajudicially just kill people or if you should capture them, have them stand trial, all the due process sort of things that we do as the liberal democracy that we are. And that's the conflict, really, that has presented itself
Starting point is 00:31:47 from the very first scene of the movie. And then a bunch of other stuff happens. It's really boring and not quite good. But every once in a while, they bring up this issue again, as we just saw when talking to the son and so on. And this scene right now,
Starting point is 00:32:01 the son's like, just kill him. And Jonathan Majors is like, ah, just like your dead father, we should kill these guys. And it's a cute little moment that they have. And I'm going to predict because I know what happens. He's going to shoot the fucking guy in the head.
Starting point is 00:32:19 And it's really, really stupid and bad. But the context of this is that the current administration of the United States of America has been bombing boats in the Caribbean and just sort of indiscriminately killing people with no due process and then making jokes about it after the fact
Starting point is 00:32:39 Vice President J.D. Vance, he would make jokes like, ah, don't go in the Caribbean because you might get blown up because we just indiscriminately blow up people now and we just sort of do the thing. And it's worked out so well. It's worked out so well.
Starting point is 00:32:51 And so I just wanted to highlight the context of this movie is justifying the extrajudicial killing of people and in getting rid of due process for people who are like, they're just so bad, and that is what's going on right now. And it's interesting, I guess. Good job on the Daily Wiler
Starting point is 00:33:13 on their terrible propaganda. I got some unfinished business. It's a prison. This is not the American way. The American way is your task forces and your trials, your climate change and your abortion. Your climate change. And your abortion. You people and your apps and your ultrasounds.
Starting point is 00:33:51 And your gender natural. You and your steak and shake. No, you like steak and shake. I mean, you're in and out, burger? You and your chick filet or banning chicken? You don't like you. You and you're hating chick filet for no reason. You and your ibuprofen and IPA.
Starting point is 00:34:10 I'm just naming things on the table now. You and your Kleenex brand tissues and ice packs that you put on your computer to cool them down in the hot room. And your axe throwing bars. Strawberry pound cake sanitizer from Pathet Body Works. You and your births bees. You and your car seat registration cards. Your
Starting point is 00:34:36 Target receipts for that time You Bonds You and your glasses from a bar that closed 10 years ago in Columbus, Ohio You and your computers
Starting point is 00:34:51 Where we go When you die You are nothing When we die We are martyrs Only one way to find out. Stop! Oh, he's fine.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Cody. Cody. Stop the bomb. Oh, my God. You did not know that. They got... How much did they pay for these songs? We obviously can't play this in the cut, but they're playing...
Starting point is 00:35:32 Yeah, we have to say... Breakfast at Tiffany's. I don't know how we pay this off in a super cut. The end of the movie. is breakfast at tippinies. They are using any of the music stuff, but we should just narrate.
Starting point is 00:35:46 They had all these 90s songs and we kept calling it out and then Cody said breakfast at Tiffany's and then they put... Why do they? Why do they? Why do they use that? Why do they use that song? That's so funny. Why do they use that? Why do they do that?
Starting point is 00:35:58 Do closing time because it's the end of the movie? I guess that's a little bit. That at least means something for the people watching the movie. I genuinely don't understand why all of this music was 90s.
Starting point is 00:36:10 Use black hole son. What are you like what are you? What is the point of this genre of music? Is it just because that's when they were kids? That's what they're nostalgic for. But not these characters.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Not these characters are not nostalgic for breakfast at Tiffany's. This is about college kids. What do you? They're 20, 2026. It doesn't make any sense.
Starting point is 00:36:37 You might like, why you fucking play Hey Sandy? do like the fucking Pete and Pete theme What like what? Anything What we I bet we could punch it up because like that Thematically didn't make any sense What if it was just like they do the wide shot
Starting point is 00:36:50 The drone shot were going up and then it's hang around Downtown by myself and I've had so much caffeine and I was thinking about Once there was this boy who got into like what? Obviously obviously I would be right about there's no denou ma and there's like barely a climax, but how would they do that? We're going to wrap this up. We're going to give our final thoughts here. I hated it.
Starting point is 00:37:23 I enjoyed the company. Thank you. Didn't love the experience. You guys, you guys, all of that great. But this movie, no. So final thoughts. The point of the movie obviously. Obviously, there's two main points in the movie.
Starting point is 00:37:43 You'd say the word like I'm. This is what this movie has done to us. It has made us all lose our freaking minds. I was crying when I met you. Okay. All right. So. Did it be a dip.
Starting point is 00:38:03 Didip dip. Did it dip. Why would you do that? What does it mean? What does it mean? What does it mean? What does it mean? What does it mean, though?
Starting point is 00:38:14 What does it mean? What does it mean? What is it mean? It's the credit song. What does it mean? It means that he said, what about breakfast at Tiffany's? And she said something about remembering the film. I can't believe.
Starting point is 00:38:31 But it makes so much sense. Like, you're prescient, but also, of course it was. I'm sorry. Will, you were going to summarize the next movie. It makes no fucking sense. All right, a few things, a few things that I think are just so ironic about this film. So one of the things... Like play like, whatever.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Sorry, play block party or something. Go on, Will. So a couple of thoughts. So the thing that they... These are the people, the people that came out with this movie are, a lot of them are the people that complained for months about wokeness in the Odyssey. because they had like a trans actor and a few people of color. When you watch The Odyssey, like, you don't even think about that.
Starting point is 00:39:20 It's a movie. It has a story. There's characters that go through things. This movie is lose everything about, like, the characters or their journeys or just basic, fundamental, like, best practices of a normal movie are just thrown out the window entirely for a completely forced political ideology. We know this. It's obvious.
Starting point is 00:39:46 But the political ideology is two things. Like you said, it's okay to do war crimes. We should do more war crimes. And all you woke liberals who care about genocide or people dying in Gaza, this is what those people would do to you if. They could. And we want to watch that. We want to see it.
Starting point is 00:40:10 We want to see their comeuppance of their naivete coming back to, like, we can't do this. We want to watch them die. It's their wish fulfillment. Don't know what else to say. I'm like, I, my, I, that, I, I'm, it broke, my brain broke. My brain is broke. Got a machine head better than the rest. Because like, what is it?
Starting point is 00:40:33 It doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't mean anything. Like if you even, if you even like, not even like literally like think about the leaves. Like if you think about the meaning of the song, it means nothing compared to what is going on in the movie. Who does it apply to? Nobody.
Starting point is 00:40:48 It's not about a couple. It's not about, oh, like this things like, we, at least we can agree on this. I, like, sorry. It was, it was, it was, it was the dishwallis song. It was Vaseline. What was the first one? Oh, uh, jumper. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then breakfast at Tiffany's. So those are four 90s, all at rock songs, all in the same category. But right. So the fact that there's, the fact that there's a similarity and they're like a connective tissue between those four songs makes me think there's a purpose. And I think the purpose is, I wish we lived in the 90s again. I wish I was 12.
Starting point is 00:41:24 I wish I was 15 years old. When movies were made, remember true lies? Yeah. We loved true lies. And remember the music that was coming out when true lies came out. What if we went back to that era? But you got to think about what the songs evoke emotionally and what they mean. Why did you have breakfast at Tiffany's be the end of your...
Starting point is 00:41:46 This movie has nothing to do with the 90s. Right. They could have said they're like, we lost the thread on this one back in the 1990s when and then said shit the Clinton didn't. They didn't do that. They didn't do it. Like the best I can accept is what Jonathan has proposed. I agree that that makes sense. But they've done nothing to earn.
Starting point is 00:42:04 earn it. They have done nothing to set that up or make it make sense. It's just weird. It stands out. And it comes back to like, I honestly, I genuinely kind of think we're even putting too much thought into it. I think you put more thought into it right now than they did. And it just is all wish fulfillment. It's all like, yeah, wouldn't it be sick to put this music in? Why would we put it in? Because it's the best. That's when I was a teen. But it just shows how culturally stunted they are. Like, yeah, I like those songs from some of those songs from the 90s, too, but like, give me a break. Surely they could come up with a list of 50 songs in that category and choose four that have anything to do with the movie that they made. Why is breakfast that Tiffany's playing at the end of this terrorist movie where they kill everybody?
Starting point is 00:42:59 Who are they talking about? Because they could, Cody. Who are they singing about? in that. And it's not even like a juxtaposition because they did it throughout the movie. They did it throughout the movie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:11 And there's no, there's no Dainee-U-Ma. I don't know what, like, the prize and the hero hug at the end. But like, I don't know what that means. They kiss. I guess. Maybe I wasn't paying attention for that. She, who really didn't challenge him that much,
Starting point is 00:43:28 has fully come around to his point of view that we should kill people because he did for her. even though I don't think she challenged him that much. And they've met twice. In fairness, they've met twice. They've met twice. They know each other. They hung out once.
Starting point is 00:43:39 Yeah, but like, okay, we got to go. We're going to go. This is so bad. But they, they, all the things we've said, they did all this stuff and they shot the guy and they're like, yeah. Do process is fucking gay. Like, that's what they're saying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:58 And it's the R word. And then the movie ends. And you're like, oh, surely. we'll see like campus after the fact. Yeah. Like the climax happened traditionally. Right. And what will it be like now? And movies. What happens
Starting point is 00:44:13 now? What is the status quo after this? What do our characters feel about the future? Where are they headed towards? What happens next? And you don't need to say everything. You don't need to go into detail, but like a scene of like oh, the class is back in session.
Starting point is 00:44:29 Or like, oh, these friends are hanging out again. They're on a date. Looks like Woody and Buzz have learned to live together in the room and that we've established that. Like literally anything. Not a sunset and then breakfast at Tiffany's. What? You got to keep them separated.
Starting point is 00:44:50 The races, right? That would have made sense. You've got to keep them separated. Exactly. Everyone has a category. You put them over here. That would have worked. Paranoia.
Starting point is 00:45:02 Paranoia. Everybody's come. That's really good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, man. Or just semi-charmed life. Go back to that. Yeah, go back to that.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Or, honestly, the best one would be somebody. Oh, my God. Just go back to the... Why mess with a formula that works? Oh, no. So what has to happen, actually. So you do the thing,
Starting point is 00:45:23 and they shoot the guy, they get the guy out of there. Like, ah, that's the American way. And the most disgusting spit I've ever seen in my fucking life. And then, back on campus, cut to black
Starting point is 00:45:35 one week later it's ban one week and then you see the campus a week later they really do all the lyrics they like weird out all the lyrics you do all the lyrics
Starting point is 00:45:46 you like present like like oh my god visually that's what that's what that mind I means and stuff it'd be good I hope the racist guys in this one don't worry
Starting point is 00:45:58 we got all the racist guys in this one it was good watching with you wah-ha it was good watching this piece of shit thank you watching at home we love you very much next time we love you much just too incongruous homogenous is not us we're crumbling and far who may have heard the earth's in the middle of us also so is some other stuff like our lives, but I'm sure it doesn't matter to you. I heard me say, don't you hate, leftists and linton queens, and now I think I'll pay to make it a film
Starting point is 00:47:01 and hell why not try to link it to that run hard and fight shit, and I said, well that sounds like it sucks.
