Hi, today we talk about the latest escalations in the Iran War, the cyclospora outbreak,
and how ICE is now tasked with investigating itself.
Like and subscribe.
Hi, hello, and welcome back to even more news, the first and only news podcast.
I'm Katie Stoll, and I'm on vacation.
Totally.
Yeah, you are.
Katie's Stodley on vacation.
Katie's stole out of town.
And I'm a guy.
I'm a guy.
He is a guy named Cody Johnston.
There we go.
Hey.
Jonathan is also here.
Who?
Hi.
What has been going on in the news?
I had, you know, ignored the war for a couple of episodes because it's like they'll figure
this thing out.
Right.
They got this.
Well, they want they, you know.
And it has really escalated over the last week, militarily, and economically.
So it turns out that the Pentagon has been working to conceal that dozens of U.S.
service members have been injured over the last week.
This is in addition to the two and probably three, according to President Trump service members
who have been killed in Jordan.
Iran has escalated its attacks on U.S. bases in other countries.
And the Houthis have announced a naval blockade of the Red Sea,
which is where Saudi Arabia exports four and a half million barrels of oil a day.
And we're escalating, of course, as well in our bombing and attacking civilian infrastructure.
And we're not owning up to the attacking of civilian infrastructure.
if I'm not mistaken.
I think we're just attacking the water treatment.
Well, I just keep seeing reports of saying like we're attacking military targets, but it's not.
Yes, no, they are.
This gray area of what people want to pretend is a military target, which is in fact just civilian infrastructure.
You know, by some accounts of war crime.
Yeah, they're like, it's the same thing where they're pretending they're not doing a bad thing,
but also the thing is fine for them to do because whatever.
whatever Hegeseth said, no more of this silly rules of engagement stuff.
So according to Al Jazeera, several bridges have been hit, railways, tunnels, airports, and roads, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, water, obviously a big deal when you illegally take out the water supply of villages.
So, you know, once again, back out of control, no deal.
I was waiting on Sunday evening, you know, before the market kicked off for the, oh, we got a deal thing, but that doesn't seem to be happening.
The problem is the same problem that Trump and the Pentagon had before is you get dug into a deeper war and you escalate militarily with still very low odds that it will go well, right?
you if the the bombings of as atrocious as they are to bomb all this infrastructure it's not going
to get you what you want which is iran to back down and open up the strait and all that in order
to do that you would need to significantly escalate due ground invasion on these islands up and down
the the straight to try and control it and then if you do that if you commit hundreds of thousands
of troops and you're there for a year then what right do you hold it forever do you
you build bases there.
Like, then we're the winners.
This is a,
a decision you really, really hope
Trump does not make
for the loss of life
and also the uncertainty of success
and the deepening of the quagmire
for who knows how many decades, potentially.
So, you know,
it's the same situation fundamentally
to quote J.D. Vance.
Cut that. I can say fundamentally.
It's the same situation fundamentally as we were in a couple months ago.
Oh, yeah.
Here we are again, except now Trump's doing the like, I could care less that they want a deal.
They want to deal so badly.
Yeah, there's scumbags we don't deal with, but we got a deal.
But also, I mean, J.D. said that anyone who says that is wrong and he disagrees and they shouldn't be in charge, but whatever, it's fine.
I still can't shake that the quote-unquote ceasefire.
This is always the plan to have a pretend ceasefire to recalibrate slightly and then keep going.
I mean, it's the new stupider forever war, right?
You start this conflict and you don't give a reason for why, at least you don't give a consistent reason for why over a day and then a week and then a week.
and it's that back and forth has allowed it to be prolonged for so long.
And it's just a new, like, the incompetence and the like, the way they talk about it is weirdly
like a new effective tactic on how to just keep a war going forever.
Like, we're at the point where asking Marco Rubio or Trump why we're doing this is kind
of pointless.
Like they'll either say, well, we got to get the free flow of energy.
like we either have to get the thing that happened before we attacked them.
That was the status quo before we attacked them.
Or they go back to, well, Iran can't have a nuclear weapon.
They can't have these missiles.
And then it's directly contradicting what Trump said a month ago.
But also said it makes no sense for us to have it and not them, right?
Like, what's the point?
But also we have it.
But also, like, we don't need to have it because it's hard to get.
And it's like buried.
And we're going to go get it.
and we don't, but also we don't need it because they also, it's okay to have that for them to have
some because they need energy, but also they can't have it. I forget all the excuses. It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter. None of it is real. None of it is what the man actually thinks. It's just
what comes out of his mouth on any given day. I'm feeling so bad for Lindsey Graham, though,
missing this, you know, he would have been happy to see this. And it just, yeah,
He'd be frustrated.
He's still waiting for, he's waiting for the big one, right?
He wants to be the big one, but I'm sure he'd be frothing at the mouth,
excited that maybe this would be the big one.
Finally, finally, this is the big one.
I was digging around, and I guess if we're seriously in a forever war,
you stop expecting Trump to make statements about every fallen soldier,
right, once you get into higher numbers.
But it is, like, I looked around and I could not find,
and I didn't appear on his truth social,
that he referenced the two people in Jordan who died.
First Lieutenant Tyler James Feehan, 25 of Hawaii,
and Private Isabella Gonzalez 19 of Carrollton, Texas.
The only reference Trump made to it was one of his Tarmac press conferences
where he walked out.
Because he's a piece of shit.
You said you checked truth social.
Do you not have the $100,000 API access?
Oh, no, I'm not a Wall Street firm.
Because if you show out $100,000, you might get his secret posts that have all the information and all the nice stuff that he wants to say to the people.
Right, and I bet it's a much cleaner feed than what you get when you go to truesocial.com slash at real Donald Trump, which is a bunch of slop ads.
Oh, five ads before a post about how we're never at war.
Right. Well, because let's see. Okay, as we're doing right now, this is breaking on Trump's truth.
13 minutes ago, a post about how the World Cup turned out to be a spectacular success, right?
He was there and doing all that.
And then eight minutes ago, every time Iran kills an American soldier, they will pay for that killing many times over.
This directive has been passed on to the Secretary of War.
Not great at giving condolences, but he is great at asserting that revenge will be out.
Revenge is on the way.
He's just like eyes for an eye.
How many eyes have we taken, though?
I'm not happy that we have American service members that have been killed.
Not happy at all.
And we've killed a lot of people over there.
You know, this idea of like, now you've crossed the line.
Now we've got to come in with the full four.
Yeah, after killing thousands.
We've been killing people.
You're not going to be able.
to get the public on your side that there's this grand strategy. He also posted what appears to be a
photo of a Washington Times op-ed in the newspaper with the headline the grand strategy behind the
Trump-Vance Iran deal. I hope he reads it so he knows what that strategy supposedly is. He's such an
old guy. That's so funny. He's so old. We track every minute change in the status of the war
like if we are looking at it and say well there's no rhyme or reason to this he's just being like pulled in every direction by what they decide to do he doesn't know what the negotiations are he's not involved in anything he's going to soccer games right uh the average american is going to say like what are what is this now are we at war great uh am i going to get diarrhea from eating uh also the thing that is going to give me diarrhea is like twice as expensive as it used to be like what are we doing here?
and good for you.
Like if I'm getting diarrhea,
I don't want to pay more than $350, you know?
This is America.
We should get cheap diarrhea.
I'm shocked at how inflation has affected the price of diarrhea.
Like when I was a kid, diarrhea was almost free.
I know.
You used to go and you used to get a diarrhea for like 19 cents at the counter.
Now you need to download an app and pay $4 to get the diaries.
It's able to access any of the rebates because I feel like that's
been broken and I only talk to an AI chat agent and they're like sorry they don't care the diarrhea line
is down yeah yeah it's just like enjoy your diarrhea and that's okay I'm trying to I'm trying to enjoy the
diarrhea but you're not and then you're like speak talk to a person talk to a person yeah but you're
but you're like shit and water out your ass so you're don't really pay attention to yeah what a
shit show y'all that's what a shit show that's what they say that is this episode title
Can we put that in a YouTube title?
We should also mention that there was another death.
This one was in Iraq.
It was after apparently a controlled detonation of an Iranian missile.
So just need to acknowledge that.
Someone's got to.
It's one of those norms that you never think about that much or buy it.
As a young person growing up, if a member of the U.S. military,
dies overseas.
Like the president makes a big deal about it and says that well they made the ultimate sacrifice.
You go for when they bring you off the plane, the flag.
You know, we know that this guy is incapable of doing that.
And it's just like, oh, right, we don't live in that world anymore where the president
pretended to give a shit about like.
Not only we do we not.
Well, we don't live in that world.
It's Donald Trump, first off.
He doesn't give a shit about anybody.
But moreover, I would say.
that comes along with some amount of American patriotism
where people also believe in the war that is being fought
and that people are sacrificing their lives for.
This is immoral.
This is wrong.
We have created a big, huge mess.
The American public is largely against this
and they're doing their best to obfuscate the reality
of what's happening over there.
They're doing their best to not pay attention
to the casualties to the lack of progress.
So there's no incentive to do the right thing at all.
You know, he's just going to try to bury it and try to spend as little time as possible,
drawing the national attention towards the reality of what's been happening.
And so...
Well, he won the World Cup yesterday.
You know, he's distracted.
He did himself win the World Cup.
Give him another one of them, peace prizes.
I'll say that about our president.
He is an athlete.
Look at him
Winning at the game of slowly dying in front of us
Look at that sportsmen
They're giving it but they keep you know
We keep thinking the game's over and then they put extra time on the clock
It's just the ref decides 10 more minutes
10 more years of this guy
How much longer are we gonna
You know how nothing ever happens
Yeah it's like soccer
A little bit a little bit like soccer
When you move to a new city
Or start a new job or decide to become a turtle handler
You're probably going to need a new doctor
How does one find a doctor these days?
It's not like they're just sitting there in the cereal aisle
behind the cracklin-oat-brand, a cereal I am not sure still exists actually.
But ZocDoc makes the process simple by letting you compare local in-network doctors
so you can make an informed choice based on what you need,
a solution to turtle-born illness, for example.
Zop-Doc has more than 150,000 providers across 200 plus specialties
and you can read reviews from real patients to choose the doctor who's right for you.
It's free to use and you can see actual appointment openings to click and instantly book a visit.
Plus you can often get appointments within 72 or even 24 hours, which can come in quite handy if you've got a 5-inch razor back's beak attached to your pinky finger, which thankfully now I do not.
Still hurts a little bit. Your health matters and taking care of yourself shouldn't be complicated.
Find and book the right doctor with Zuckdog. Head to Zuckdog.com slash more news to get started and check the
that appointment off your to-do list.

Ow!
Should be making a fist.
I'll tell you, nothing makes me appreciate really good betting like a warm summer night.
There's just something about sliding under lightweight, breathable sheets,
Flipping on 1994 as it could happen to you and getting a glorious night of rest,
regardless of how hot it is outside.
And that is why I love quince!
Yes, I'm not ashamed to say it.
I love quince.
They use the highest quality materials like 100% European linen and organic cotton
with sheets and duvet covers that come in a variety of tasteful styles and colors.
You will be so comfortable.
You'll probably fall asleep before.

Quince works directly with ethical manufacturers and cuts out the middleman,
so you get betting that's up to 80% cheaper than similar brands.
And for an easy upgrade, they've got moldberry silk pillowcases and eye masks that keep my hair as smooth as Rosie Perez's devious glances are sharp.

What's going on with the diarrhea?
What is happening diarrhea-wise?
So a few days ago, we got an announcement that iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms
was a likely source of the outbreak.
It tested positive for the cyclospora.
It had been distributed in dozens of states.
Taco Bell had been proactive.
Taco Bell blameless in this, right?
They don't.
Victory for Taco Bell.
So they pull all the lettuce.
And then this morning, Taylor Farms releases a statement that says that that was a false
positive that the FDA has apologized to them and no one knows where it's coming from,
which opens up two possibilities.
one possibility is that the FDA is just really bad at doing this these days the FDA, the USDA, the CDC, right?
We cut all the jobs.
It's within the rum.
It's very possible.
There's another possible that also makes sense.
And the other possible is because Taylor Farms are huge maga donors that they just said, you know what, this is the source of the outbreak.
Pull all the things.
No one's going to get the diarrhea anymore, but we'll lie and say it wasn't you and let everyone.
everyone throw out all their produce for another few weeks.
Would posit it's potentially both.
That makes sense.
That's a possibility.
They could have used some influence to, you know, change what the FDA is saying.
But it is run by clenchant.
We already know that we cut significantly this program that was to be monitoring and tracking outbreaks like this.
It's not just cyclospora.
That's lots of stuff.
Remember that flesh-eating bacteria rampant in bodies of water across the United States.
And it's not to say that those agencies would have necessarily, you know,
this oversight would have necessarily stopped it from happening initially.
But it certainly was about tracking it and finding out where the outbreaks are and the cause of it.
And the fact that it's taking this long to get definitive answers speaks to the clown show that we're living.
under. But also, yeah, it's a MAGA donating company. The CEO sucks and they almost, I
I'll just have to go in the realm of possibility. Yeah, it's a shitty lie show. I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'm going to say.
Uh-huh. If Kamala Harris won, we wouldn't be having this diarrhea problem right now. I, I, I, I don't think, I think, I think, I think it's
It's bold statement.
I feel like we would have known definitively.
I think it would have planned.
I think there would have been some sort of serious person who didn't get fired and wasn't resentful of that.
And the next person also wasn't also fired.
And then the next person wasn't like completely incompetent.
I think that we would be in a much better situation.
Diarrhea wise.
Yeah.
If he wasn't the president and didn't do all the things that he bragged about doing in the first half of this term.
Like there's a job that said like.
tracker of transintestinal parasites and it had the word trans in it and that person got fired.
It's gone.
Yeah.
So we would likely know and or likely believe what they say when they say.
And adjust something and just behavior real quick or like this company would maybe feel a little more pressure to do the right thing instead of what I think we are circling is probably what happened is that they're lying.
There's some sort of relationship here.
As somebody who is consistently against conspiracies generally and conspiracy discussion publicly,
Jonathan, what do you think is the truth here?
Man, I'm really torn here.
I'm really torn here because my instinct is these people are bungling incompetence that are, of course, doing false positives.
but you know
but you know
what would
a lettuce company do
in the position
that Taylor Farms
is in it seems like what they do
is say well you've already
screwed our business you might as well
say that it's your fault
and we're fine
and we're releasing
more lettuce now
by the way it's not going to work
I'm not eating any less than that lettuce.
If I have a choice, if I'm like, I have to eat lettuce,
I've been without lettuce for so long.
I've got to eat it.
And then I'm faced with a head that I can like wash and do my best with.
And a bag of Taylor Farms lettuce.
Sorry, guys.
You are.
Pretty easy decision.
I'm a bonafide salad eater, this gal is.
And I haven't touched it in over a week, which is hard for me.
And I'm in Oregon this week.
And I went out to dinner and I was debating a salad.
the server was just like, all of our lettuces are locally sourced from local farms.
I'm like, I'm in.
Give it to me.
Oh, yeah.
Locally sourced farm to table.
I want all of it.
Give me that expensive solid.
No parasite.
So anyway, I'm sorry I can't give you a great, juicy answer to your question.
I'm legitimately torn.
Well, I will say that either option isn't great.
It's bad either way.
It's really bad.
It is absolutely embarrassing.
Both, neither would be true if he wasn't the president.
Neither would be true.
I would trust the statement from, also the first, the first statement you're seeing,
both times of the announcement and the retraction were from Taylor Farms.
I was going to say, they kind of did this, like, pretty, like.
The FDA might not, it might be an empty office.
It might just be, it might just be newspaper blowing around a big warehouse in there.
And Taylor Farms are like, oh, you didn't know that we're the,
the Food and Drug Administration now.
Should we, okay.
Well, then I guess we didn't do anything wrong.
Lettuce make.
Shall I, should I talk about the boars?
Should I add the boar elements?
Yeah, I think you should, Jonathan.
I think this is a really important element.
It's a true.
We're not even joking.
We're not even joking, folks.
While I'm wildly speculating,
and we're not going to put anything on screen for this
because there's no source.
I am turning over a new lettuce leaf.
Wow, wow, you're getting wild in here.
All right.
I have seen speculation.
that the source of the parasites
might have been wild boars
running through the lettuce farm,
shitting on all the lettuce.
And like I said,
this isn't speculation,
this is real.
What Jonathan just said is real.
Leaf your speculation at the door.
It's real,
but completely unsourced,
speculative gibberish.
But I'm,
that's the kind of episode this is.
This is a shit show.
Yeah.
It's infected us.
The news is a shit show,
and now this is just a shit show.
Our theories are explosive.
let's say.
Explosive theories.
Influenced by all the diarrhea.
The shit show of this administration,
all of it,
and he literally did the AI video
with the shit, the diarrhea.
I know.
It's just, you couldn't write it.
Yeah, it's really every step of the way,
every single thing that happens.
I mean, there's the diary video, obviously,
where he just was like,
what if I shout on everybody,
and here's what that would look like.
but he I mean the even talked about we're not going to talk about the reflecting pool but like they drained the reflecting pool and there's cracks everywhere it looks like shit still again and I they it's like they got together and they're like okay so second term guys all right we got a we got a here's the evil column all right we're going to try to do all this evil shit right and what if it was absurd what if we wrote out visual metaphors
for everybody. Like every month, what if we did a new metaphor for this evil disaster? We are
perpetuating. And they just did it. They're nailing it. It's great. It's wild that they're
nailing it. They couldn't nail the symbolism every step of the way harder if they had tried.
How did it? What are they? We will we will cartoonishly shit on the protesters. We will have our big
Vanity Project peel and crack and crumble at every turn. We'll throw a party that nobody comes to.
Yeah.
We'll dig up like the graves of our ancestors and wrestle on them.
And to eat, you have to choose between the diarrhea lettuce or the beef that's three times as expensive because the screw worm have infected all the cows.
Hey, everyone.
Just popping in here to give a quick parasite update.
After we finished recording, the FDA released a confusing statement of its own.
But it did become clear that the lettuce that resists.
resulted in the false positive was from a different batch than the lettuce involved in the initial recall,
and that recall does still stand and is still the primary suspect in the parasite outbreak.
We think Taylor Farm's statement was intended to make it seem like all the lettuce was just fine,
which it almost certainly is not.
Don't eat the lettuce is my point.
Now back to the show.
Hey everyone, let me front load this by saying that you can get free stuff.
I haven't even looked at what it is.
but it's free, so let's okay. Let's just look. Okay. Spicy toys or gift cards for toys? What a delightful
surprise. Ah, Belessa is a company that's flipping the script on sexual wellness. You've seen their toys
in your various feeds and rhythms like the Ultra Blow. I don't even know what that is, but it sure
sounds impressive. Okay, let's just take a look. Oh, ho. Oh, oh.
Okay, boy outy.
Okay, now that is the most advanced stroker yet, they say, with an innovative, elevated motion.
However, that works.
Or the rose.
Oh, boy, you're going to love the rose.
A little flower-shaped toy that's cute and discreet, but delivers 10 different suction modes.
I mean, I can only personally think of six types of suction tops.
So that is.
intriguing.
And of course, we had to hook all of you up.
So our friends at Belessa and us are sending out free toys or gift cards for toys to everyone who signs up.
You heard that right, folks.
Every single one of you wins something.

There's nothing like an action-packed summer blockbuster, right?
Car chases, plane fights, train explosions, flesh-eating bacteria, bugs, aliens, freshly-oiled
leather, and bunches of bananas.
Well, Pluto TV has all that heart-pounding glump available for free.
Glump, like Top Gun Maverick, Transformers Rise of the Beasts, a very Yakuza Christmas.
Is there a Mrs. Magoo?
Do the dog paddle, Dungeons and Dragons, honor among thieves, we hit a tiny submarine in the
Silver Lake Reservoir, Crape Invasion, Escape from the Trader Joe's parking lot, search for the
Lost Islands restaurant, Revenge of the Westwood Chili's, Battle of the Burbank AMCs,
Fright Fest at Phil's Coffee, all pHs obviously, between the botulism and monkfish blues.
Squibb, Flob, and Fibble Paste is all on Pluto,
TV. It's free.
Stream now.
Pay never.
I got a little breaking news.
I don't know if I'd much to say about this,
but a federal judge has temporarily paused the Paramount Skydance takeover of Warner Brothers Discovery
after the request from 12 state attorneys general who have sued.
So this is going to drag on for a while.
Has he trothed yet?
I assume he's truthed.
Well, this just happened.
I mean, this is my job now is I just track what the guy is true thing.
Well, he's going to say, like, you're like, well, this just happened.
Yeah, but what's he doing?
Not his job.
Okay.
The only thing he's posted since I last checked his truths is that Benjamin Netanyahu
will not be arrested in any way, shape, or form while in the United States of America.
This is after people keep asking.
This is about Mom Donnie.
He's interview from like four days ago.
He doesn't mention Mom Donnie, by the way.
He doesn't call him an idiot.
No, he would never.
My handsome best friend will never arrest my other handsome best friend.
Zoran could pay one visit to Trump and then Trump's like, I got the handcuffs.
If that war criminal visits this country, I'll put the shackles on him myself.
Look at these guys.
I love Zoron, Mom, Dony.
Look at that smile.
I wish he could be president.
Don't you guys wish he should be president, really?
If we're going to change anything, don't make it a third term thing.
Make it so that he could be the president.
My heir apparent.
Zoran Mamdani.
Yeah, Jady Vance and Don Jr. are there with a, like, having a knife fight in a pit.
And meanwhile, he just crowns Zoran, Mom, Donny.
A second ex-wife of David Bruliette, the main ICE agent has come forward saying that he is an abusive piece of shit with a history of very violent behavior.
Another one.
Yeah, non-surprising.
Yeah, we mentioned last week that his ex-wife was worried about his behavior to the point that she reported him
and sounds real real bad and was asked by him to lie for him about that behavior because he murdered a guy.
And the second ex-wife has come forward.
Here's a quote from the second ex-wife.
If you were to ask me whether I believe David Bruyette is capable of this level of extreme violence,
my answer is unequivocally yes.
That belief is not based on speculation, but on my own lived experiences.
Over many years, I have feared for a long time that his anger, aggression, and escalating behavior
would eventually result in severe, life-threatening violence, and I often believed I would be the one
on the receiving end of it.
Oh, God.
And this man apparently became an ice agent in...
Late 2025.
So he is 100% the demographic that they went over after.
Just give us anybody.
Ex-military, ex-law enforcement, history of domestic abuse, violence, and aggression.
No need to background check against it.
Well, you've got to get that signing bonus real quick.
A bad sign when the moment something like this happens, you have multiple ex-wives emerging to talk about what a bad guy you are.
The point is.
hearing it.
We don't know how many David Bruyettes are in ice.
My guess is the sample is larger than in the general population of people who signed up
for ice in the last year and a half.
Yeah.
You go like from January 20th to now.
It's like.
I think, not that I think particularly highly of the people who signed up for ice before that,
but there is a special little section if you've signed up in the last year and a half.
Especially late 2025.
That's like you're like, that's like you're starting to see it.
You're like, oh, yeah, yeah.
People have already been murdered by them.
And then just the speed with which somebody is then implemented and put into this situation.
It's not like, oh, there's a training period before you're entered into a high stress situation.
No, let's just put you in immediately before you burn out.
There was also reporting over the weekend, according to the New York Times, a federal.
agents around the country were told in recent days that the FBI would no longer investigate
confrontations with immigration agents. Cases that sometimes yield evidence that could be used
to prosecute Department of Homeland Security agents implicated in violent encounters.
Now, there were senior officials that do deny this, but apparently memos were sent out
to ICE agents across the country.
Free rain, whatever you want to do.
It's fucking wild.
And then another tidbit in that New York Times.
Times article was under the change responsibility for investigating cases involving federal
immigration officers would likely fall to Homeland Security investigations and arm of ice,
effectively leaving the agency to investigate itself. That's what we call checks and balances,
folks. You check to make sure there are no cameras around and then you do a balancing act.
Balance the books. Yeah, exactly. There are so many different House committees
and Senate committees that do these different hearings and investigations.
And so I trust that if Democrats take the House in early next year,
that there will be many investigations into everything we've talked about today.
But the ICE ones I really want to tune into, I think I need some semblance of justice
at the end of all this that people will be held accountable.
up and down the line because the illegal actions,
the encouragement of illegal actions,
the violations of the First Amendment, fourth, fifth, a couple others, right?
Like, up and down the line, that needs to be, like, televised.
I want to see that.
And it's something that, like, hopefully they just learned their lesson a bit
from post-first-term Trump of just like, no, you have to go after, like,
you have to prosecute crimes.
And you need to stick with, like, stick with the message and what you have learned from that instead of abandoning everything.
Like, oh, we were, we were just, like, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm,
two point. We're doing woke 2.0. We're not, we don't care about ICE anymore. That was too much.
But, like, they're, it, it's, um, it's imperative that they do this. And I do think, they just need to choose to keep that, um, um,
in people's minds because the,
the appetite for it is there
because of all the things you just said
that are being violated
and the truth of the matter.
And it would be easy for people to forget about it.
And like, oh, we're doing some reform.
We're doing this and this.
No, you do need to prosecute these people.
I, more and more these days,
I just keep seeing,
there's actually this, this podcast where this...
Podcasts.
Lefty...
Thanks for saying it so dismissively.
I'm so sorry.
There's like a podcast about some stuff.
where you like download it and you listen to it and stuff. Anyway,
um,
it's a lefty like siblings and they,
uh,
basically do a podcast with their MAGA parents and the mother,
I've probably seen some clips and stuff,
but the mother is like pretty appalled by the,
these recent shootings specifically. Um,
and it's just outright being like,
yeah, they are,
they're murdering people.
Um,
and even though she's still,
like, they're still like,
we got to get rid of these people and they're supposed to do this.
and like, we got it?
Like, that is still there.
But also the recognition of like, no, there are murdering people.
We should abolish this organization.
It is a nonpartisan objective issue that we need to be.
Especially if you get off of Twitter and actually talk to people.
Because if you're to look at Twitter, you'd just horrified and a large percentage of those are bots.
So, you know, keep that in mind.
But when you look on Twitter, it's very depressing.
But when you speak to people or you witness that conversation, it's not going to be exactly what you want.
Obviously, this woman that you just described is...
It's got a whole lot.
It's thrown out all over beliefs or whatever.
It takes time.
But it does break through.
You're murdering people in the street.
It's not American.
Well, it is.
We've talked about how Democrats are...
terrified of this issue. They think it's a losing issue for them, but part of winning on the
issue and making it something you can talk about is appealing to people's sense of humanity
and talking about these incidents specifically and showing the footage and doing the investigations
so we can see how we probably don't even know how egregious these recent murders were.
And once we do, I think that's a way to start winning on an issue. And I,
have faith that a version of the Democrats that I have made up in my head are going to do that.
Yeah, because also, I mean, it's, they're all, they're always so worried about what's the
perception of this and what's, you know, if we go too strong on this, then people are being turned off
and we can't say this, we can't commit to this, we, this focus group, this, this, this, if you do
decide and you have like those principles and you do appeal to people's humanity and the morality
of the issue and just keep talking about it, that changes minds too. That keeps the conversation
there. I know there's this period where people were like, you know, don't talk about Kilara
Brigo-Gargo-Garcia. Don't talk about that. That's a losing issue. Just like stop talking about it.
Dempsey to focus on this, this, this, this, this. That was an issue that they kept hammering for a while
and it was effective.
If you seed the ground
and you're like, ah, we can't talk about that,
then you're telling people that you don't care
and that it's an issue that you can forget about.
But if you don't,
then you're telling people that it's an issue
that they should care about and they will
because of what it is going on.
Well, guys, I think we've done it today.
I think we've arrived at the end of our program.
We've got to get this edited.
Like and subscribe, leave a comment.
Come back later this week for more fun.
Yeah, get out of here and then come back.
And then get out of here and then come back.
Oh, I remember the thing that I was going to say that I was pretending to forget.
You were pretending?
We love you very much.
You were pretending?
See cheeks?
Much.
I...
