What is going on with my boys and in some cases my girls? Welcome back to Even More News.
My name is Katie Stoll and Jonathan is also here.
Oh wow, hi.
That came out of nowhere.
I didn't expect to be here so quickly.
Well you are, and it is only you and me here today.
Cause Cody is traveling.
Safe travels to Cody.
His flight got canceled, is that right?
His flight got canceled, it's true.
He would have been traveling regardless,
but his flight got canceled and that sucks, so.
Duffy.
Duffy.
Get home safely.
Get home safely, Cody.
Before we start on the show today,
real quickly wanted to address some of the comments
we had after our episode last week with Rokana.
Um, a lot of people, or some people liked it.
A lot of people did not like it.
A lot of people were disappointed and, um, yeah, I hear you.
Uh, Cody and I texted each other after that show and well, I'll
just say that we learned a lot.
We learned a lot from that experience.
Thank God Jonathan was also there because a little bit more hard hitting than the rest
of us.
But we learned a lot.
And I guess I really hope that Ro Khanna's people read the comments because there was
a lot of very valid criticisms given to us after that episode and to him.
And it's worth them checking it out.
I think a lot of the people watching were having the same instinct that we did during it of like
this is not meeting the moment, this is not the answer we need. And afterwards I was worried that
I had been too harsh because I was like this is just wrong man. This is wrong and
you know, yeah, you want you want people like that to come on this show and
Hear from us and hear from our perspective because they clearly don't get it. That's what I was left with is that
He's meeting a different moment
for a different group of people and that's unfortunate
because there's a lot of voters they could win
if they think voting is the thing to get us out of this
and I don't think that's what he accomplished here.
So I do hope his team goes and reads the comments.
I know we say never read the comments,
but his team should read the comments.
That said, I think we've got some news to discuss, per us.
Yeah, I mean, we think we're having drama.
The MAGA folks are having drama, which they never do.
They never have any drama, which is interesting
that it's only the left, but right now there's some drama.
It's new, it's different.
They never have drama with Trump,
and now this is the first time in recent memory
that I've seen anything like this.
So just quick bullet points from late in the week to now.
So months after Attorney General Pam Bondi says
that Epstein's client list is sitting on her desk,
the DOJ comes out and says,
there's no Epstein list, no conspiracy,
he killed himself.
The end.
Case closed, folks!
I mean, this apparently didn't sit well, not just with the MAGA that's not in the administration,
but the people running the FBI.
Dan Bongino, deputy director, did not go to work on Friday in protest.
And I guess he leaked that.
He called a bunch of news outlets and said,
I'm not going to work today.
There were rumors that Kash Patel and Dan Bongino
were planning to resign or thinking about resigning
or saying it's Pam Bondi or us.
Messy, it was messy.
It is messy.
And we'll get into the specifics of like,
who's making the decisions, Bondi or Trump,
but it's interesting that a lot of the ire
has been at Bondi and then Trump on Saturday posts a huge long Truth Social post.
I do recommend going or maybe looking at a screenshot, don't go to truthsocial.com and
read this entire thing if you haven't.
It starts, what's going on with my boys and in some cases, gals?
They're all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi who is doing a fantastic job. We're on one team
MAGA I thought America but no we're on one team MAGA and I don't like what's happening
Then he says we have a perfect administration talk of the world goes after Obama Hillary
He suggests that the Epstein files were written by Obama
Crooked Hillary James Comey Brennan the Losers and criminals of the Biden administration, Hunter Bynes laptop, blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah.
We are saving our country and making America great again, which will continue to be our
complete priority.
The left is imploding.
Cash Patel and the FBI must be focused on investigating voter fraud, political corruption,
Act Blue, the rigged and stolen election of 2020, and arresting thugs and criminals instead
of spending month after month looking at nothing
but the same old radical left inspired documents
on Jeffrey Epstein.
Let Pam Bondi do her job.
She's great.
The election was rigged.
Let's not waste time and energy on Jeffrey Epstein,
somebody that nobody cares about.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
For shame, everyone. For shame.
Wasting time and attention on this fool.
This dead fool.
What's wrong with you, my guys and my gals?
Look, this tweet is remarkable.
Obviously, this is a person spinning off the rails,
and that isn't even me suffering from T.
Diaz. But this is a little walk through memory lame.
All the hits.
You're Hillary, you're Obama, crooked leftists, the whole shebang.
It really felt like I could be in 2019, 2016.
I could be at any point in time with this.
What's wrong with you, my base,
and one of the top five things you care about?
Why are you spending so much time
thinking about these files,
which I hope you all knew were written by Obama and Hillary
and are like lies, they don't exist,
but if they do, and they do, they're full of lies,
so you shouldn't believe what's in,
this is the guiltiest
Post I have ever read I you've heard me on this podcast before be like well Look, there's probably not a list he probably killed himself last week. We all heard you say it
Yeah, no, and I got I got dragged through the coals for it
And I understood like and then I read this and I was like okay. I was like I take this back. This is a conspiracy. This dude did something. I
why write this whole thing trying to get everyone to move on from the thing they
care about. Now I understand the you're the dog that chased the car and now
you're like oh we might actually have to deliver on the things that we told
people we were going to deliver on and I do want to
Talk about how this is the first
post on truth social where Trump got ratioed
thousands more comments
Disagreeing with him then agreeing with him, but there's a there's a bit of a
Disconnect not all mag is on the same side. Some MAGA is like, this is Bondi, this is Pam Bondi,
and you have to fire her because you're getting
bad advice from her, and then bring someone else
into the DOJ, and they'll release the files,
which seems a bit naive.
It is interesting that that's the scapegoat answer
for a lot of them is like, ah, attack the woman.
Yeah, it can't be Trump.
It can't possibly be Donald fucking Trump.
Right, and now this woman who they've praised for months
for doing all of the bidding is now like,
get Blondie out of there.
It's all of a sudden sexist.
She's all of a sudden like.
It's wild.
There's a lot of coping going on.
The Scott Adams, the Dilbert guy was like,
look, if we release stuff and it makes the Republicans or Trump look bad,
then we're not going to get any of this stuff done
that we want to get done with deportations
and the getting rid of the deep state and stuff.
So you might have to just accept that your president is a pedophile rapist, maybe.
Me? I don't know. No hard evidence. All of a sudden it rapist, maybe, in order to get done the things you want.
All of a sudden, it's like, well, listen,
who among us hasn't flown dozens of times
on the private jet of the island pedophile guy?
But this idea of this being a fundamental thing
connected to, because this goes back to Pizzagate,
this is like, the Epstein thing is kind of the real tip
of the conspiracy iceberg that involves
the Democratic cabal of pedophiles, QAnon stuff.
And I guess I just didn't realize how important years on
this was to them.
I am surprised that this is the thing.
So in your experience without naming names.
Contrary to what people might think of me,
I haven't had that many conversations lately.
I've been trying to be self-protective and, you know,
avoid people right now.
Not everybody, but I've definitely
dialed back on some of it and trying
to save my conversations for people who
are definitely good faith.
Yeah, there have been a couple rumblings.
What's tricky is there's a prevailing concern, the question of why wouldn't Biden have released this during this
last election? Why wouldn't the Dems have released this? To me, that's obvious because
this is so much bigger than just Donald Trump that there are so many people implicated.
And then, you know, the argument becomes, well, why can't you just release the information
about Donald Trump?
I'm like, do you think that it would stop there?
And they didn't do it because they were very, very conscious
about being accused of weaponizing the government
and wanted to go out of their way to not do that.
And thank God they did that,
because it stopped all the accusations
that they weaponized the government.
That's the other response I give to this. But just I want to before we move on, I want
to this confounding, befuddling, shocking, disappointing situation right now, because
you see a variety of responses. There are a significant amount of people from MAGA who
are furious. Even the people that I've talked to are having a harder time saying that
stuff that I just outlined. They are saying this is getting more and more
sus. This is, it's harder to defend. But yeah, the pedophile thing is a big deal
for MAGA. It really is. You're right that this hasn't died down. It still is so
infuriating. For literally all of us.
If you want to see it,
the information is there for you to see.
Outside of Epstein, this is a man who has abused women
his entire life.
He has not just been a playboy.
It's just this pretense of we care about the children.
We care about the children.
I also care about children.
I care very much about pedophiles,
but they'll go around accusing every fucking Democrat they see as being a pedophile. Chrissy Teigen
is a pedophile.
Oh, still she's on the adrenochrome. See, like, I forgot about this stuff, kind of.
Like, so much real things are going on here right now that I forgot, especially when Q
stopped. I assume Q stopped doing drops at some point.
And so I thought it was like, okay, we can forget about that and move on.
But I think for a significant portion of MAGA,
it's still like everything else is a smokescreen for Trump
digging through the deep state, trying to get the evidence.
And one of these days, we're going to get Hillary and Obama in chains
because of the pedophile ring. I think there was that poll a few years ago that
was like 50% of people who consider themselves MAGA agree with the premise
that there's a global democratic cabal of pedophiles drinking the blood of
children. Just democratic though. Yeah of course they're the like when you need a
way and
you've been painting the other side as like evil like that really kind of skyrocketed this in the
late 2010s. The democrats don't just disagree with us on policy and we're not just going to stall
them every step of the way but the the people running that party are evil and they're evil in
this specific way right? Sexual abuse of children. I think it's hard to use that to your advantage,
as Trump did, sometimes saying things a little covertly.
He would post, where we go one, we go all,
or something like that.
He would kind of give nods to it
without specifically saying, they're all pedophiles
and I'm gonna up on route and show
that Obama was abusing
children this whole time but he would say the Democrats are evil and he would
give nods to this movement and now of course he's in a bind because either he
knows there's something about him in there or he doesn't know and he's just
afraid gotta be something really bad because we already know he is a serial
abuser and nobody cares. I believe
Maga will probably forget this in a few days and move on. But there's like, oh, this is
really lingering that now we're a week strong. Yeah, I mean, this is like an erosion of trust
in the the most critical core of the base. We all wish it was because of the crimes against
humanity that they're committing, right? Left and right. They think those things are good. Fine,
whatever. We're not going to win on those terms. Especially if you go and
take a smattering online, a screenshot, you know, we may or may not talk about
that Andrew Schull's clip. We can. I mean, I got it. This is not what we voted for except for the immigration.
People, they're like, they'll DM me back, you see what you see what your boy doing? You voted for this. I'm like, I voted for none of the immigration. People, they'll DM me, like, you see what your boy is doing?
You voted for this.
I'm like, I voted for none of this.
He's doing the exact opposite of everything I voted for.
I want him to stop the wars.
He's funding them.
I want him to shrink spending, reduce the budget.
He's increasing it.
It's like everything that he said he's gonna do
except sending immigrants back.
Oof.
So there's that.
I mean, that immigration line is very upsetting.
I will say that I did see him in that fucking New York Times interview with David Marchese
or whatever, but he does acknowledge that in that briefly that the immigration is going
too hard and, you know, rounding up people.
It's similar to the Joe Rogan.
The Rogan, right. I say all that to say like I actually do think that that is
chipping away at support on immigration you know immigration polling is changing.
Oh he's underwater on immigration and deportation. Just like we said would happen people would see they
like generally mass deportations now once they see what it looks like they'll
be horrified by it and it's just a matter of how horrified are they by it?
How much does it pull down the rest of his agenda
before Trump just tells Stephen Miller to knock it off
and we forget it ever happened?
It is infuriating, because it is what you voted for, man.
This is what you voted for.
Did any of us actually think that Donald fucking Trump
was going to release the Epstein?
Most of us have known for a long time
that this man is literally president to keep himself out
of jail for the most part, right? And also Epstein died while Trump was in office.
Yeah, but it's the deep state, man. Everything they don't like is still the deep state.
It's the deep state.
You watch Schultz and I believe him that he's like, I didn't vote for this, but then I'm
like, then you're just a dummy,
right?
Like, we all knew what was going to happen.
And some people have conceded like, oh, wow, the left was staggeringly correct about what
this would all be.
Staggeringly correct.
Every single thing, not to pat ourselves on the back, because it's us and everyone else
on the left was saying this is exactly what's going to happen. Of course he's gonna raise the deficit. Well you
think this is gonna be the first Republican presidency ever where they're
we're really gonna tackle the debt and deficit instead of spend all the money
to do all the evil stuff we want to do. End of the wars really? I don't think
that's why he voted for Donald Trump by the way. I think that's like he told us
he voted for Donald Trump because the Democrats are lame and wouldn't let you say words or whatever.
In that New York Times interview, when confronted about that, or not even confronted because
this guy did such a bad job interviewing Andrew Schultz, but brought that up and you could
see him get so triggered. Well, it's not just the point is, is that the Democrats used to
be counterculture, they used to be cool. And you know, and now they're the ones suppressing us,
repressing us, and it's like,
MAGA's the one that is showing people
that are like, that cool and get it.
But he's also saying that that's changing now.
He's in over his head.
Oh, he's going on very quick vibe shifts.
Such vibe shifts.
I do think social media kind of exacerbates
the speed of the vibe shifts.
We shouldn't expect that the vibe will keep shifting this way.
It can go back and everyone will be back on board or want things that are worse.
I just listen to this guy and I think it's important to talk about him because he is
indicative of a lot of the kind of new young right such, you know, it's not as big as it's
been made out to be, but this new young like aggressive male right and then all of a sudden it's not just about
making jokes it's about ruining people's lives and then that like hits you as it
appears to have hit Andrew Schultz in the their bit of humanity and Joe Rogan
in his shred of humanity. Let's move on to some of that news on deportations and citizenship.
So late last week, a federal judge in California said, hey, ICE, you can't just grab people
off the street for being brown or working at a car wash. Probable cause is a thing.
You know, the Fourth Amendment, the Fifth Amendment, all this stuff. So we're kind
of like waiting to see
how much of that they are going to ignore
and how brazenly they're going to ignore it.
I don't know where we stand now with nationwide injunctions.
I mean, this is for Southern California, but yeah.
Right, you can only say that they weren't allowed
to do the thing that they did to these people,
but they can do it to future people, whatever.
It's not an injunction.
It's just like, here's how you're operating in an area
that's clearly illegal.
Tom Homan, the border czar, Christy Noem,
DHS secretary deflected on this.
Tom Homan shifted over a period of days.
So frustrating.
Yeah, at first he was like, yeah, of course we're gonna go
after you, we'll write for whatever you look like
and whatever.
Trying to just say, the way you look is probable cause.
The color of your skin is probable cause.
But then yesterday he said, my words were taken out of context,
that can't be the only thing.
He says the way you look can't be the only thing
to generate probable cause, where you're working
can't be the only thing.
Christel, what's one of the things?
And his example was like, well, if you got MS-13 written
across your face, we're going to take a look at you.
I wish the interviewer had asked how many of the people
that you've detained have MS-13 written across the face. What percent the context for all of it is this is coming days after
a massive raid at a farm or a series of farms, the most prominent of which in the news is
a cannabis farm in Camarillo, which is in Ventura County. It's just north of Los Angeles.
300 people were arrested. One person
died by falling off of a building in ways that we are not fully clear on right now.
Protesters, pepper sprayed.
A place where people are working. So seemingly exactly what has now been judged to be illegal.
And it's, you know, just like what happened in MacArthur Park here in LA a few weeks ago.
Like, yeah, they're trying to get the numbers up,
and they're also trying to make a big show
and scare people and shut all the farms in California down,
which I don't think they're prepared for what that means.
Part of the retroactive justification,
the spin being put out, is that Glasshouse Farms,
which is the cannabis farm that was
rated.
I mean, it's multiple farms were rated, but the one that's getting the attention is being
investigated for alleged child labor violations.
Yeah, I take child labor violations seriously.
I think that's important.
We have laws and rules. But I am shocked to hear that conservatives care about that at all, seeing as there are
many states, red states, that are working on rolling back child labor laws.
So there's that.
But also, like, what?
I don't know.
These are migrant laborers.
These are here and their children are there.
We have to protect the children by throwing them in a concentration camp.
Right. So you're going to round them up.
Yeah, stripping them away from their families.
Pepper spray them, put them in a concentration camp facility. I don't believe you. I do not
believe you that that is your justification. And also that's not how we handle child labor violations.
That is not the way that you protect a child.
Like if we're going to do it,
maybe go after the people running the business
that is exploiting the child labor
and do it in every state.
Like if that's what your push is gonna be,
cause it doesn't seem like you give a shit.
It's just a bad faith argument of like well
Here's why it's good the conditions that they have put people in it's like what do you expect?
There are people who have been kidnapped while they are working at
One of their food carts on the street and then the next day their us-born
14 or 15 year old son is out there working the cart because the parent
has been taken away and they need to make money.
Their policies and Democrat policies over the years, sure, have like facilitated what's
going on.
And now in, you know, in other states in Tennessee and in Arkansas and wherever else, they say,
oh, well, kids need to be able to work hard
at McDonald's or whatever and thing,
and then they just expand the child labor laws
so that 14-year-olds can get shredded at factories overnight.
And then they pretend to care about this.
It's absurd.
Like, look, they don't care about these migrant children.
They don't. They just don't.
This specific story is one where I say,
yeah, I don't want children exploited.
This is also something that I have no idea about what the inner workings are for a migrant
family that's here working and trying to keep their families safe and housed or whatever
protected.
I'm not in a position to cast any sort of moral judgment about that.
I am in a position to cast moral judgment about a conservative state that doesn't give a fuck
if a 13-year-old gets injured working in a factory.
It seems like your moral clarity is gone
once you're just like, we need to rip people away
from their families and take whole families of people who
are just working and living their lives.
It doesn't seem like you have much of a leg to stand on.
Can we talk some of this denaturalization
stuff before we wrap up? It's no secret that Trump wants to take away people's citizenship,
people who are naturalized citizens and people who are US born citizens. A few weeks ago,
he suggested maybe we'll have to look at Zoran Mamdani, take away his citizenship, maybe
he lied on the forum or whatever. And then over the weekend, he posted about Rosie O'Donnell.
He's still in this like decades old beef that no one really cares about.
He's always hated Rosie.
Yeah, they don't like each other.
Rosie O'Donnell moved to Ireland basically to get away from him.
She is not giving up her U.S. citizenship.
She's going to become a dual citizen, which is a thing that exists.
And he says, I'm seriously looking at taking away
Rosie O'Donnell's and thus any American US citizenship,
a thing he can't do and has no legal mechanism to do,
but they don't care about that.
They'll just say that's what they're doing
and then you're in South Sudan, right?
We'd all know that the Supreme Court cleared the way
for people to be sent to other countries
than from where they're from, random places.
But now there's an internal ICE memo
where that is the plan.
Just deport people wherever.
And he has, I think this was in a reporting in Rolling Stone,
he doesn't much care about the legal anything.
He just goes to his advisors, he says,
I want to do this, make it it happen because then once he can do that
Anyone who criticizes him you're not a citizen anymore because the national security you live in
And then throw a dart at the map on the wall, right?
He wants unchecked authoritarian power. It's very clear
He's very open about it a bunch of the media is either kind of
Softening it or saying oh, it's just a joke or saying yes. That's what he wants and it's good
Yeah, I think those are the kind of the two places
We're at now Newsmax. He wants that and it's good
It's good for Republican presidents and this one specifically to have unchecked power and then you know
You know just Washington Post calm and it's not like there's not news there
because there's tons of news.
Trump is giving more weapons to Ukraine
and ramping up pressure on Putin.
And there's stories about Camp Mystic
waited over an hour to evacuate
after receiving life threatening flood alert.
So I'm not saying that the media is not covering news,
but I think there is a fundamental lack
of driving scandals that would be scandals
in any other administration.
They would still report on this stuff,
but Biden's cognitive ability would be the top headline.
The US president threatening to take away
anyone's US citizenship because he feels like it,
it needs to run at the top for days.
It does.
Because right now, people don't even know,
maybe they've heard it out of the,
seen in the headline out of the corner of their eye,
but they haven't seen a follow-up.
They think, oh, that's a sensational headline.
That's misleading.
There's no way he actually could.
But people say that long enough.
Well, oops, it's too late.
Now he's doing it.
It's gradual, right?
You do it one step at a time. So it's normalized, but this has happened very very quickly this stuff in his first
Term I feel like would have gotten different treatment than it's happening now. It's it's going incredibly fast. We're moving on so fast
partially by necessity partially by design because he's all chaos and a cyclone and
What are you going to do?
Not report on them?
Because it's also a scandal what happened to Camp Mystic.
And it's also, you know, what happened with FEMA?
They let go of all the people.
They let the contracts expire.
And then the next day, FEMA stopped answering phone calls.
And Kristi Noem says it's fake news.
It's not fake news.
And look, I'm not going to pretend like FEMA has always,
across the board crushed it,
but it's measurably worse and getting worse by the minute and she's out there lying.
They were able to answer a fraction of the calls on day two, a fraction.
Yeah, by day three it was like 19% of phone calls.
That's unbelievable.
Who might be calling as their last phone call as they're afloat, you know, like we don't know the condition
people who are in desperate need who
Know that there's at least a federal apparatus to help when all else fails the fundamental
Use of our government to keep us safe, right national security
But also and it's kind of up to your governor if they maybe have the resources to keep you from dying
I keep thinking about this like there used to be scandals, and now there aren't scandals.
And the biggest one we've had on Trump is Epstein because that's what his supporters
care about. And it's just very frustrating that they refuse to look in his direction when children
die in a flood. They refuse to look in his direction
at the intense cruelty of what's going on in Florida
and at private prisons across the country.
I do think all of this builds up
and chips away at more and more of his base.
Hopefully, I think that's what we're seeing,
but it is remarkable.
It is terrifying, just the speed of it and how quickly,
because there's not enough time to marinate
in one story before the next.
And again, yes, our fractured media ecosystem,
yes, yes, yes, all of that.
Obviously some stuff can break through, a la Epstein.
I mean, if Soros wants to give us money,
we can pick a, we'll do five podcasts a week.
Keep hammering that home.
Sorry, I don't want to commit you to podcasting
every single day, Katie.
No, it's okay.
I can do that.
I can take that for the team
with some Soros money for sure.
Oh my God.
It's out there.
All right, well, guess we're done here.
Look how good we did without Cody.
Oh, well, we need him.
Of course we do, but I'm proud of us. We held it down. Oh, sure. Oh, well, we need him.
Of course we do, but I'm proud of us.
We held it down.
Oh, sure.
Well, we have a great rapport, you and I.
We do have a great rapport.
But this is the first time it's been just you and me on here.
Ever.
Ever.
So history was made today, folks.
I think we can all agree.
All right, we're out of here.
Have a good week.
We'll see you Friday.
And remember, we love you very much.
["The Star-Spangled Banner"]
Oh boy, the news never stops, does it?
Until the episode's over, then there's no more news.
That's nice.
Thanks for watching.
