Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi there. Today we talk about Trump's ultimatum and market manipulation, ice at the airport, and Elon Musk's totally based milk boy. Ew. Hey, hello and welcome back to even more news, the first and only news podcast. I'm Katie. Stowe. And I'm Cody. And we're here. We're here. Hi.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Hi. How are you? Top of the morning to you. Top of it? All of it. All of the morning to you. Last week, almost a full week past St. Patrick's Day. Top of the morning to you.
Starting point is 00:00:52 And Jonathan is also here. Hi. Top of it. So I'm not sure what we're going to talk about today because it was yet another slow news weekend. Oh. Oh. Ordering milk at restaurants. Let's get right to it.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Straight to the real important. and stuff. That got a hearty keck for me, I'll tell you that much. Oh, boy. We're not going to talk about that day, probably. I wish. We're not going to talk about the Eon tweet. Let's start off with some Iran updates, shall we?
Starting point is 00:01:25 Yeah, let's go through the state of the ultimatum, I think. So at first on Saturday, Trump said that if Iran didn't completely open the straight of Hormuz within 48 hours that he would take out all of Iran's power plants, which is civilian infrastructure. That's a war crime. It's a war crime. It's a combat operations crime. A combat operation.
Starting point is 00:01:49 An excursion crime. A COC. A combat operations crime. Then Iran said, if you do that, we are going to blow up all of these different desalination plants and energy infrastructure around the Gulf, which would also be very bad, a war crime. the Gulf is a desert so they rely on desalination largely for water
Starting point is 00:02:12 in various areas energy intensive process too don't do that this would be intense escalation back and forth we really really really don't want to see where this goes so then on this morning oddly right before the US markets were going to open
Starting point is 00:02:29 Trump pushed back the ultimatum by five days saying that they were having quote very good and productive conversations with Iran. There's our taco. So like five days. Well, but yes. Around when like the market's close.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Right. After, we'll revisit this after Friday evening around 4 p.m. Eastern. How transparent can one guy be? It's so ridiculous that the S&P 500 immediately jumped when it opened because those are the most credulous people on earth. They're like, oh, I guess we're done. but Iran immediately denied that any conversations were taking place and they said that this is, quote,
Starting point is 00:03:11 part of an effort to lower energy prices and buy time for implementing his military plans. They also trolled him by saying you're fired. Oh, they did. A separate, you're fired post. Okay, well, great. Start a little war jibs and jabs back at each other. So we're in a situation where,
Starting point is 00:03:32 thank goodness the ultimatum has been pushed back once they they really should not do this yeah i mean i don't know what to say because this seems like a man without a plan well he is it seems like this is a man without a plan um but his plan always is to just bully bully bully bully and wait for everybody to call nobody's going to wants to call his bluff but presumably that's the plan to have enough bravado. I mean, it seems clear to me that they,
Starting point is 00:04:08 he's obviously been desperate trying to get anybody else roped in. Any country roped in to this. To stack things up, to escalate it to enough. We're doing the quagmire. Right, come on, hop on board, y'all. Just trying to raise the stakes enough so that people have no, or countries have no choice but to join us. And yet they continue to not join us,
Starting point is 00:04:31 to not say that they're going to send warships. So that's a little bit what we're up against here, along with the fact that, yes, everything is about market manipulation and trying to tow the line as far as possible and see how far the markets will let them go. They really transitioned quickly from, we're not the stupid presidents who do forever wars.
Starting point is 00:04:55 When we said no more wars, we meant no forever wars. Also, we're going to need to stretch this out for a really long time indefinitely every week or so like they're just slowly turning it into the thing that they wanted to pretend to claim that it wasn't and now like we're at this point where it will slowly become like well we just got it we got it I mean we're in there where we did the quagmire we got to stay forever and they escalated by doing the thing they said they would do when we escalated so we have no choice but to keep right there are dragging That's not me.
Starting point is 00:05:31 To us into this conflict, exactly. But, like, Trump this weekend would be going back and forth in the single sentence. Like, we're winning. We're almost done. We're going to blow them up and take them out. And also, things are going great, but also they keep making it go bad. Like, there's no point in listening to him, as we've talked about. We just have to react to what he does, which is usually bad.
Starting point is 00:05:55 But, like, this, the market continuing to listen to him and oil prices. is going up or down based on his incoherent ramblings is really startling to watch. Like, stop listening to him. It doesn't matter. And meanwhile, like, as these fake high-level talks are happening with apparently Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner instead of, I don't know, Marco Rubio. I was told Jared Kushner wouldn't be involved this time around. Like, while these fake talks are happening, Israel is continuing to bombard terror.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Iran, you know, residential buildings, we are to assume when the information finally gets to us, they say they are targeting, quote, Iranian regime infrastructure sites. This would lead me to believe that they're blowing up buildings with people in them. That's fair. While we're negotiating an end to the war that's done, that we basically knocked it all out. We didn't start. We didn't do. And we won. Should we talk about ice?
Starting point is 00:07:02 being deployed to our airports to do the job of the TSA agents that we're not paying to do their job. ICE is now confirmed to be at 13 airports around the U.S. this morning. They've already, as of when we're recording Monday morning, they've already detained a woman at San Francisco International Airport. Trump is asking that they not wear masks there, probably because he knows the optics of this are already very, very bad for him and can only be worse. Crazy because the one place you should wear masks is at the airport.
Starting point is 00:07:36 The airport, folks. How many times do we have to explain this? Maybe he wants all the ICE agents to get COVID. Resistance hero Donald Trump. I mean, but also like, you know, wearing masks at the airport and stuff. This is, I mean, obviously he doesn't want to wear masks for this because the airport is a public place that, like, everyone is at. It's not like, like, of course.
Starting point is 00:08:01 he knows what it looks like when there are masked agents at like one of the main hubs of like interaction that we have in society. It's going to be really, really bad. People are going to be just like living their lives and see this kind of stuff that they've had to live in like Minneapolis to see or these like isolated places. But now is just going to be in your day? I don't know. It seems well, what we have now are hours long lines at. TSA because of the lack of funding. The DMA.
Starting point is 00:08:37 The DSA people are leaving or not showing up because they're supposed to work without pay until DHS gets reopened. Punch Bull News reported on Monday morning that Senate Majority Leader John Thune had a deal in place with Democrats to reopen all of DHS, including TSA, except for ICE. And that little bucket of money would be pushed until a later date. And Trump rejected this and said, no deal. So there's really no way he can spin this as not on him. Not that most people were going to blame anyone else anyway. Like if you go into the airport and you are unexpectedly hit with a TSA line that's going to cause you to miss your flight, right? Atlanta Airport is saying please get here four hours in advance. And if you don't know that that's happening, you get there and you see these huge long lines. It's all chaos. And then ICE agents are roughing people up and shoving people around and everyone associates ice with Trump.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Yep. By his choice. And violence. So it's just, unnecessary violence. Yeah, I'm always just flummoxed by how he managed to win two elections because he is so bad at the politics of this. On top of it, just being a horrible thing to do and you're going to cause a lot of harm to people having ice in the airports.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Yeah, it's just really depressing to see. every day, and it has been since it happened, but like, we remember how bad he was at this and how all the things he did led to this point and how they were holding up signs that said mass deportations now, and everyone was like, well, if you do that, you're going to have situations like masked thugs at the airport, roughing people up and detaining them. It's nice that people seem to not like it, and he seems to be aware that people don't like it, but he's still really bad at it, and it's really been obvious.
Starting point is 00:10:34 And we got another, what, two and a half years? Do we know what exactly ICE agents are doing at the airports, how they're helping? Like, what? I assume they're telling you to do this. Well, they're being TSA, right? They're doing TSA's job. But are they, though?
Starting point is 00:10:51 Like, they're scanning people through the metal detectors? In amounts, you know, like, not really. If you're flying today, let us know what an ICE agent made you do if they're like just looking at your ID? I was seeing that there's like looking at ID at some point in the line, but again, you're still showing it at a different part. Is that, is that going to make the lines move quicker? No, this only makes things worse and then the only thing that'll be consistent is you have no idea whether they'll tell you to take your laptop out of your bag or not. Sometimes stays in,
Starting point is 00:11:25 sometimes they take it out. That's not going to be any different with ice there. But it's just like, especially ahead of like the summer when you are really trying to get tourism international tourism going again the World Cup is in June and you want the optics of ice wandering around yeah nobody wants to be here nobody trusts us why would you we're a bad nation while we're talking about airports I think it's important to at least mention the horrific accident that happened at LaGuardia airport an air Canada flight. I don't we're waiting to hear more information about what specifically happened. How did this happen that this fire truck was in the path of the plane and got hit? And what communication errors broke down? What human error versus, you know, technical errors. That's what I mean by we're waiting for more information.
Starting point is 00:12:21 But fatal, a couple people have died, serious injuries. There have been issues with airports and Department of Transportation. since this administration started and we've talked about it. One thing we didn't talk about, which I'll, I guess, mention in passing. I don't know if we'll ever get to it. So there's this person running for Congress in Minnesota, or Wisconsin, sorry, in Wisconsin. And getting a lot of donations, a lot of money coming in from like transportation lobbyists, transportation industries, some from like New York, New Jersey.
Starting point is 00:12:57 nothing really to do with Wisconsin, various companies and projects and lobbyists in the transportation industry. Incidentally, so that candidate, his father-in-law, is Sean Duffy, the Secretary of Transportation. Long road to get to that point.
Starting point is 00:13:13 This was reporting from like a week or week and a half ago. We didn't get to it because of all the things going on. I'm just mentioning it now because while all this stuff is going on, there are all these other stories that we haven't gotten to. we'll get to that are the background radiation of the standard Trump corruption that's going on that's bad. And if there wasn't a war going on or ice agents at the airports or all these other
Starting point is 00:13:41 like really, really extremely horrible things, we'd be talking about that. So I just wanted to mention that. The corruption doesn't stop. Yeah, it's continuing at all times. I was just looking on Sean Duffy's Twitter to try to see like, is he on TV talking about all this chaos? He is going to LaGuardia to see the crash
Starting point is 00:14:03 and hopefully there are not too many people there in their pajamas and so it'll be job well done. I can get out of here as long as people are dressed in suits and hats like they're on the set of Mad Men. Well, why wouldn't they want to be dressed up to the
Starting point is 00:14:20 nines to wait in four hour long? lines. Exactly. I don't care how people should be wearing less. Wear those heels. Wear those heels. Should be wearing less? Sure.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Longer lines means more times for pull-ups. That's true. That's a positive reframe. I do want to real quick read this J.D. Vance tweet because, as we all know, he's not been tweeting as much lately after the war that he probably recommended that they don't do has been done. And he's trying to be like, well, listen, the president said,
Starting point is 00:14:54 whatever. He posted, we've all seen the chaos unleashed by Democrats at airports across the country. It's preposterous that Chuck Schumer continues to hold TSA funding hostage. Thankfully, ICE will bring sanity to our airports starting tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:15:08 But it's far past time for Democrats to fund DHS. Obviously, there was this deal on the table that he probably knew about or didn't because they don't tell him shit anymore. Well, he's working on fraud, right? But this idea of like ice will bring sanity to our airports, like you can't just send ice every, like the guys who do their own job very badly and violently are just super qualified to take over anyone else's job.
Starting point is 00:15:32 Famously bad at their jobs that they're not trained properly for. Or good at their jobs because they're doing what the what evil wants them to do. Yeah, which is do like a violent bad job. But I agree with you. They're bad at their jobs and they do it violently and badly. which is good for them but it's a bad job for most people but ICE is like less is ice is very unpopular so the idea that you can argue don't worry everybody ice is showing up ice is on it that'll do it
Starting point is 00:16:01 very silly yeah also and this is you know whatever it's a pretty weak tweet from JV not a lot of the not a lot of overconfidence or smarm not a lot of that disgusting slop like film that he put
Starting point is 00:16:17 on everything. He's in a very vulnerable spot right now. I know. It really does seemly like, I'll just do a serious post mostly. It's not. I'm not going to do my thing that I do. Just a weak tweet. It's fine.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Love to be a fly in the wall of his private meetings of people trying to negotiate. What's your move, man? How do you save yourself? How do you? How are you going to do this? Fascinating. Trump's not dying fast enough, man. what are you gonna do?
Starting point is 00:16:49 Is he still co-hosting the Charlie Kirk show? I haven't seen him in a while. He's not guessing. But he's itching for it. I'm sure, especially now, he's like, what the fuck am I doing? I gotta hang out with Nick Shirley now because I'm the frauds are. God. Almost quitting time.
Starting point is 00:17:05 And when I'm done for the day shooting Hot Khan, tent, that is, I like to unwind with some bona, fide, that is, free movies and TV shows from Pluto TV. What kind of movies and TV shows you ask? Why a mix of real and fake ones, I reply. Films like Dream Girls, Gladiator, Detachable Breakfast, Mononuclea, Whoa, Sister Act 3. Daylight 2, the ongoing adventures of Chief Kit Latura, Dante's Peak 2, the ongoing adventures of volcanologist Harry Dalton, Under Siege 3, the interminable continuing adventures of Chief Petty Officer Casey Ryback,
Starting point is 00:17:42 Interstellar, Cruella Deintensions, Dangerous Liaisons King. The ATM from hell. A Flint Stones movie just following all those dinosaurs who do some odd job and say it's a living and Nacho Libre. And don't forget binge-worthy TV shows like Survivor! Spongebob Square Pants! Seasons 48, 49, and 53 of the young and the restless. All seven seasons of Rosolian Isles. All 15 seasons of canollies for miles. A season and a half of yoga wars Kung Fu Platypus, the fairly odd parents, my best friend squirrel. Oh dear Vicar, look at the plumage! And the X-Files.
Starting point is 00:18:24 All that stuff is there, except for the fake ones, which should be real, actually. I'd like to see those if David Ellison is watching, and he is, make those. Pluto TV stream now pain ever? I was thinking about, this is a bit of a tangent, I apologize, but I was thinking about... Apology accepted.
Starting point is 00:18:44 How the, okay, I'm glad I should apologize for everything I say in advance when I get that response. I was thinking since the vibe shifted to like, oh, these guys are so weak. They can't do the takeover that they thought they were going to be able to do really easily. And to me, the thing that solidified that vibe shift in hindsight was their flop of we're all Charlie Kirk and you don't, you awakened a million Charlie Kirk. Oh, yeah. When that, when it turned out that shit was. what's coming.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Dunzo and nobody gave a shit and half the people in the country were like, who's this guy that you want us to like publicly like mourn across the nation? Sizable contingency of people that do care about Charlie Kirk. Kind of think maybe Israel or the government, or Donald Trump is behind it. Right. In a way that's like, whoa, where'd you go? But whatever their spin is isn't stopped.
Starting point is 00:19:41 It's not working. It's not going against the last. Yeah, I mean, they overplayed their hand really, really. They overplayed their hand. That's the place. That was the biggest hand. I mean, they've done a lot of hand overplays politically
Starting point is 00:19:53 and in terms of policy that they've tried to shove in there without actually passing a bill. But like, that was a huge cultural overplay that they lost. And now they're still trying to play it. All the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:07 It feels like it's just impossible to get people on board that Charlie Kirk was the sacred figure that you can't say anything about while Trump is out there saying, oh, good, I'm glad Bobby Mueller's dead. Just tweeted it out. Yeah, like, no one needs to be the biggest Robert Mueller fan in the world, but people were getting fired for saying the same stuff and tamer stuff. Tamer stuff about Charlie Kirk. Some guy, not about, like, yeah, But you're saying Robert Mueller just died. Good.
Starting point is 00:20:43 I'm glad he's dead. The guy who exonerated me, remember? The guy who said that I did nothing wrong, apparently. The guy who saved me, basically. There was one of his lackeys. I'm going to get them all confused. Bessence, I don't know, out there being asked about this on cable news and just having an impossible time.
Starting point is 00:21:06 It's like, do you support his statements? Well, you have to understand that the president. we can't put ourselves in his shoes to have been attacked like this, you know, persistently over the, you know, the lies, the lie. Yeah. But do you support this statement and he just wiggles out of it? And it's so because there is literally no justification. Yeah, it's impossible. They went on, they went on the guy's podcast.
Starting point is 00:21:30 It was like, get everybody fired. Yeah, it's the key capricacy. And they're comparing random people, tweeting random things, some like anonymous. avatar just being like, I don't care that he's dead. And then being like, yeah, they did that. I don't care what the president says. Say that again. You don't care what the who says.
Starting point is 00:21:52 It's just like the completely different situations. It's really obvious. It's so ridiculous that he, because he says, good, I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people. I guess he means him. Like Robert. Donald Trump dragged my name. Because I don't think Trump could say the name Manafort or Papadopoulos.
Starting point is 00:22:10 at this point. I don't think he has any idea who these people are that like went to jail over the stuff because over all that Russia gate stuff which was real
Starting point is 00:22:18 and that that never exonerated you at all because it was real. Right. Like there's no pretense anymore you can't even pretend if you're MAGA and you love it then you love it
Starting point is 00:22:32 but you can't pretend it's not happening. They don't love it. They don't love it. They don't love it. I feel so confident at this point Yes, talking to people in the mountains, sure, reading the tea leaves. Twitter is not real life.
Starting point is 00:22:47 The amount of people I've heard that I've voted for Donald Trump that are disgusted by him. And it's all coming together. I mean, I hate it. I hate watching this man post this vile shit and stir people up online and all that. But honestly, digging your own grave, man. People see it. People see it. It started with just Rob Reiner.
Starting point is 00:23:09 What the fuck is wrong with you, dude? Yeah, I hope that that maintains. Because I, I mean, I believe you, and I know, and you're not the only person who's talked about that, and I've had conversations, and it's like, you know, he's a disgusting freak, and he runs a movement of disgusting freaks, and it's all boiling to the top, and we all see it on his face. He said some really, really, really, really disgusting things the first time around. and like about random people,
Starting point is 00:23:43 like the Rob Reiner stuff and all these sort of like, oh my God, I can't believe you said that. How could you possibly not believe that he said this kind of thing? He would say this stuff all the time about so many people.
Starting point is 00:23:55 And I know there's no answer. For cognitive dissonance to like chat. It takes a long time. There is a deep dive into psychology of people that I'm sure would be very revelatory when applied to this situation. And I don't want to dismiss it. And I also don't, you know, I'm also like, I know I'm repeating myself whenever we talk about this.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I'm like, okay, but like, guess what? This isn't brand new. And, you know, I know, I know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's true. But what are we going to do? I think anybody could look at me and guess that I'm in the camp of. Yeah, there's a time and a place for auditing and having a conversation about why you made the assumptions that you did about somebody who's shown us his true character. There are a lot of answers to that. And it's multifaceted. But at the end of the day, I heard multiple people agree that they feel shame about Donald Trump. Trump voters. So.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Bring shame back for things like that specifically. Other people saying they don't know anybody that isn't upset about Donald Trump, MAGA voters. So anecdotal, yep. Let's get through this. There's the rest of our lives to unpack how this shit happens with people. Anyway. But you know, I do kind of like that J.D. fans seems like he's like kind of got like yeah they're like oh well 100% you know he did he did
Starting point is 00:25:14 post three sentences about how ice is going to clean everything up and those guys uh they they really seem to know what they're doing no i guess i would add and this is like an open-ended question is like okay what now what are you going to do about it now you know whatever comes next for the maga folk i hope it is a transition to a greater understanding that they weren't just hoodwinked, but that they bought into a fascist regime, that they thought it was what they wanted, and that they don't just say,
Starting point is 00:25:54 well, I'm still going to vote Republican because the Democrats, they're lunatics. Yeah, there's a line, there's a thread that connects not just what he said with what he's doing now, and like just because, it seems a little more extreme than you would like,
Starting point is 00:26:13 and it makes you uncomfortable, this is what everyone was calling for. Obviously, they have, like, the graphic that says the peace president, but there's all this other stuff around it that already sort of negated that presentation. And if you were, I'm basically just repeating what you're saying, Jonathan, so I'm sorry, but just like you sort of view like, oh, what a con man, I was con, I was con.
Starting point is 00:26:40 He was saying a lot of horrible things, too, that either you forgave or were attracted to for some reason. And I hope the self-reflection comes from that. This is going to sound like I'm carrying water. Because I agree with you. And there are some people that, I think, fall into that camp and fall into different camps about why they did
Starting point is 00:26:59 or they did support this man. I think some people, yeah, desperate for change, blah, blah, blah. There's that tired excuse. But they didn't necessarily think that the most extreme version of him was an exact. They thought the most extreme version, some people thought it was an exaggeration by the media. I can poke holes in that all day. I can point to X, Y, Z.
Starting point is 00:27:24 But you should be able to look at this and see that he's speaking the quiet part out loud. You should be able to see this. 100%. There's a problem with how people digest information. But there's also this landscape that we're all. living in and existing in and tearing our hairs out where you're not sure and most people are checked out and I'm not carrying water. I'm just saying these are the things that we have to have addressed moving forward. And yeah, just sort of to the exaggeration point because I think
Starting point is 00:27:50 that that is true. There's like obviously there's an issue in the media with how they present things. Although I will say the exaggeration did start from a real place as well. So like you're like, oh, that's the exaggerated version. But the not exaggerated version is still this and these issues that you have stem from that. Even saw like Andrew Schultz sort of try to talk about it and be like, oh yeah, like it turns out like and I don't like this because it's accurate. It's not like some like, you know, exaggerated lefty narrative or whatever. I forget exactly how I phrased it. It's like, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:24 But it ultimately turned out to be correct. So if you're like, oh, the exaggerated version of Donald Trump. No, no, no. It's the correct version. It's manifested now. totally agreeing with you and I think that that is part of it I'm I just I just I just it's just hard to paint everybody with one brush for this person they wanted it secretly for this person nothing's ever changing and Donald Trump might just be
Starting point is 00:28:53 crazy enough to push through something good for this person they yeah for them yeah for them and not the first time yeah yeah I just say once you start talking to people you realize that there's a myriad of different issues and all of them are frustrating. I mean, yeah, like one would hope that from this comes a new emphasis on critical thinking skills with what chat GPT is doing. I'm not really holding my breath.
Starting point is 00:29:21 It's not going to happen, man. I'm so sorry. Because AI does it for me now. But, you know, like, the best we can get out of this is a good learning experience. Yeah, I don't want to dismiss everything you've been saying or like, be like, ah, but what? about this.
Starting point is 00:29:35 It's just like, you know, it's a process. It's a struggle to bring people to the light. As we have teased, we're gonna wrap things up with a little bit of Elon. A little bit of Elon in my life. A little bit of Saxon by my side. Sorry, you were setting this. A little bit of milk inside my cup.
Starting point is 00:29:57 A little bit of burghies at the sushi stop. I think, so we don't really need to get into what this is a reply to. Babylon B article. Babylon B thing. Elon Musk decides to give us on Saturday, early morning, this number. My son Saxon is so based that he would just order milk when we went to dinner in L.A. This would always stun the wait staff, as they had never heard anyone actually order milk.
Starting point is 00:30:27 That's not true. He also, unironically, ordered a cheeseburger at a very uptight sushi restaurant that doesn't even allow. you to order supplemental soy sauce. When the waiter recovered from this request to reply that they don't have cheeseburgers, Saxon said, fine, I will have a hamburger. He sounds like he had an AI write it because he did. What an obviously grocked up fucking... I mean, like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:54 That could be Elon's son. Fine, I'll have a... Oh, I mean, the story, I'm sure, is like vaguely true in that his son ordered milk at a restaurant, he thinks it's fucking base because he's a loser. I just mean the actual, the writing, the prose is not from his brain. I think the primary question we need to have answered is, because Saxon is 20 now, is how old was Saxon during these events? How young was he when he was so based? Was he based at a young age or it didn't take a while? Well, but because if he's five or six, ordering milk at a restaurant
Starting point is 00:31:32 and thinking you could get a cheeseburger at a place your parent brings you are not exactly weird. It's not based. It's just kid stuff. It's tequila kids. It's being a kid. If he's 20 trying to be like, I'm going to order milk at this place, they're going to be freaked out. Watch their face when I say milk.
Starting point is 00:31:48 But he says unironically ordered a cheeseburger, which suggests that he's a kid, which means you're just taking your child to a very fancy sushi place. By the way, the fanciness of the place doesn't matter. sushi places don't have cheeseburgs in general. They don't have cheeseburgers. It's not they're not uptight. They're a sushi restaurant. They're a sushi restaurant. So it seems like you should plan ahead if you're bringing a five-year-old who hasn't had sushi before and likes cheeseburgers and milk either prepare them
Starting point is 00:32:15 or bring something else. Also, did you not want to go to the uptight sushi place? Isn't that why you would go to that place to get like really nice sushi at a nice, no, you just go to unironically, be super ironic and based about it. Also, kids get milk everywhere. I read some of it was going to say, this is not based. That's just child behavior. Do you know what based means? Do I know what base means?
Starting point is 00:32:40 But the second part of this tweet is bad parenting, in my opinion. Honestly, a little cringe. Maybe that's a good story. Yeah, why would you bring your human shield to a two-year-old? I was like, can I have a cheeseburger or whatever? But in general, why would you do that? Sounds like you brought your kids somewhere that you wanted to eat, that they didn't want to eat. pretty disrespectful to ask for a cheeseburger at a sushi restaurant.
Starting point is 00:33:05 And if he's anything older than five, maybe 10. Okay, we'll give some wiggle room here. There's a child's menu for a reason. It's fine. What, your dickish child trying to troll a sushi restaurant? Right. You're just bothering the wait staff and trying to use, I guess, your disgusting wealth to, like, bully people and get what you want.
Starting point is 00:33:29 also and this is I'm you know he brought his kid into this so I'm not going to be nice to them sax is 20 now he's 20 is fine he's doge aged um I just think that if you order a cheeseburger and um at a sushi restaurant right off the bat you need to pay more attention kids your surroundings and like things going on but if you order a cheeseburger at a sushi restaurant and they say we don't have cheese burgers and then you say, fine, I'll have a hamburger. You're stupid. You're stupid kids. You don't, what do you mean? Do you think he meant the cheese part? Shut up, Saxon. He's making a bad joke. I know he's making a bad joke and I know that most of the stories probably not even true. If it's an ironically, exactly. Does he not understand what the words
Starting point is 00:34:19 he's saying mean or. Grock does not understand the point of the story. Grock's like, I don't know what you're going for here with this prompt. Seems doesn't make sense. I guess I'll say. And it isn't really replying to the Babylon B shit that's here? No. Also, the reply, real men do what's good. Not just what's socially acceptable. That's such a good reply. What do you mean real men do what's good?
Starting point is 00:34:41 What do you mean, it's good? It's good that he like, the classic great fly. Anyway. Sometimes you got to have fun reply to Elon Musk. Yeah. What do you mean it's good to go to a sushi restaurant and order milk and a cheeseburger?
Starting point is 00:35:01 Like, what do you mean? What do you mean it's good? What's your value judgment there? What's the point of this, man? You're wasting everyone's time at 1 a.m. on. I guess you could technically say that about us talking about it here now. I was going to say, which is what we're doing now. Well, it's content for us.
Starting point is 00:35:18 That's right. It's for him too. It's my cue to wrap up this show, I think. Which is the most based I've ever been. Something I should have set up top. other than like and subscribe. Thank you very much. Live stream a Tuesday night
Starting point is 00:35:33 tonight on this channel. 6 p.m. till whenever. No, probably 9.5. And then we will move it over to our Patreon to continue the fun. And boy, was it fun last time. Well, we watched the State of the Union. But then we went over to the Patreon
Starting point is 00:35:54 and Cody played music. I did. I'm going to do it again. drinks, but I'm not going to get it again. Well, I won't say it. You might. We're going to see how it goes. He might get a little.
Starting point is 00:36:05 But probably not. I will play music, but maybe Katie will. But maybe not. I'll be fact-checking every second. Yeah. This is actually in the mirror. Actually, that should is it supposed to be a C-sharp chord. There are no wrong notes, Jonathan.
Starting point is 00:36:24 I mean, this song, it would be more appropriate. It might be. You're supposed to put one and a half ounces of oxygen. Actually, the Andalusian cadence is required when you're going from a minor to a major. Okay, I take it back. Tomorrow's going to be a nightmare. Don't join. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:36:40 I'm kidding. It'll be fun. It'll be fun. It will be fun. That's it for us today. Yeah. We love you very much. Much.
