Hello. Good morning, everybody. Well, we've had another weekend of news that we're about to talk about. The war is not over. Oh. The war. It's not over. We don't call it that.

It's a war. We did finally get. Special military war. I mean, Trump's been calling it a war since the beginning, even when other people denied it. Yeah, even when he's like in another meeting about other stuff, he's like, I got to go check out the war. Trump will first, he did this with like gas prices over the last few days. Like he started by saying they're not going up or and then it was they'll go up, but then they'll go down right away and it'll be great.

And now it's, they're going to go up and you're a fool if you don't think that's a good thing. Or if we've been wanting them. That's why we did the green news scam. to get gas prices to go up. It's good. Obviously. And it's the Greenew Scams fault, but also this war that isn't a war that we did on purpose

to get the gas prices to go up to counteract the Green New Scams prices going. That all checks out? Yeah, it's pretty clear, like we're in the cacophony of all of this now. nine to ten days in we've got a energy crisis we we pretty know much know for certain that it was the u.s. that hit that school the yeah they did probably the biggest u.s. war crimes since the my lie massacre in 1968 there was an attempted terrorist attack outside gracie mansion in new york city this weekend i mean the the stories connected to this are all piling up and it's hard to tell a very consistent narrative about it and that's where we are

It's very difficult to get reporting right now. It's very difficult to parse through the noise and know what's real, what's fake, what's propaganda. From which camp is it from propaganda? It's very confusing. And there's lots of stuff that we'd like to talk about. But we are going to be as careful as possible. We do not want to have to retract things.

We do not want to have to walk stuff back. So you might watch this show and be like, why didn't you mention this? Well, everything in due time, you know, we're going to report and talk about what we know for real. And let this serve as an acknowledgement that I'm aware that there's lots of stuff happening that could very well be true

that we're going to be waiting for more confirmation about. There's been lots of chatter about what the death toll actually might be versus what we're reporting. It's hard to believe that it's only been the six or seven. but we'll see. We'll see. I certainly hope.

It's more. I'm going to be irresponsible and say it's more. I mean, I hope it's clear that I think it's way more. But, you know, but again, there's just no accurate information coming through. There's confusion. And yeah. Well, and it's the goal of, you know, fascist regimes, basically, is to make it so confusing that our own reality is not.

certain. You know, you believe something, even if it's bad about the Trump administration, that ends up not being true. It's not that important for them to correct that because you're off your balance. You don't know. And so that's where we are with almost all of this. We have reporting on things. We have a report from Middle East I that the strike on the school in Minab was a double-tap strike, that it was hit 40 minutes after it was initially hit. But of course, That's not confirmed by all of the other news networks. We've got the reporting that Russia has been providing Iran with intelligence to help target U.S. forces, of which is probably true. And Trump is just like, even if it's true, who cares?

I don't know, whatever. Like Trump's whole thing this week has been just flippancy. Gas prices going up. Who cares? People dying. That's what happens. Yeah, there might be an attack in Chicago. Who cares?

Right? Yeah, it's quite something to see, I mean, him on full display, like, he doesn't care at all, and he never really has, but him being in this position now where he's like, well, I thought I was going to do the ballroom. All right, I guess we'll do a war. I'm a war guy now, and now he's the war president, but he's not equipped for it. I mean, even the... Faulting on Sunday? Yeah, the hat. The hat.

The hat. Yeah, so there was a dignified transfer. of deceased soldiers over the weekend. And the president was there. I'm going to highlight the word dignified. And he's wearing his stupid fucking hat. And it was really, really embarrassing looking and trashy. And he's just a trash man.

And over the weekend, as Fox News specifically was talking about it and airing it, they aired old footage of a different one because of how unsavory it looked, how weird it looked. This, like, this ceremony, this, like, somber transfer, and he's wearing his stupid fucking hat. Um, and they ended up going out and apologizing for it for using that footage. And then they shared actual footage from it, but they didn't show him in the footage because it's so embarrassing.

And this is just, like, this is a small thing. Um, you know, it's like about like the, the, the weight of the office and all the sort of stuff. but like it's just permeates everything he does. Yeah, they're going to die. People are going to die. Whatever. Oh, sorry. You know, that's just the way.

That's the way the cookie crumbles is basically his whole pitch to America about any of the terrible things that happen in war and any of the terrible effects of the war. And I think people don't like to see who he is on full display. Because even the people who like hate Trump, who like kind of like, I'd be okay with war. Iran. This is not the version that they want because it's so like Trumpian and bizarre and he sucks. Yeah. He he doesn't, I mean, his mind does not understand like the things presidents are supposed to do. He doesn't understand why it would be bad to wear a white cap that says USA on it that you could buy at his personal store, I believe. I disagree. I think or maybe at some point he understood

or understands, but it just doesn't apply to him. Because if this was reversed, if this was Obama, I feel like he would be like this is unacceptable. They try to impeach him for this. They would try to impeach him. I mean, I do agree that that is what is happening. He just think it doesn't matter. But he does like try to explain why it doesn't. Like the thing with when the planes crashed and they said, are you going to go to the site?

And he's like, why? Look at the water. Why would I do that? Like, it's like it computes why. another president might do it, but not him. Yeah, no, he's just doing, he's a speed running, what, at, at tense marginal, but like, for, like, to see soldiers and, like, very, very serious stuff. There's so much to talk about.

We've already mentioned that it seems very clear that the United States is responsible for the strike in the girls' school, the looking like a double-taxed. strike on the girls school. Do we want to watch Trump and Heggseth over the weekend addressing a question as to whether or not the United States was responsible because I think it's instructive and helpful maybe to watch that. It might be really, really infuriating to watch for folks because it is it is something that again and like you know it's just this condensing of everything that we know from like history and what we're capable of what we do. And like the first thing is that we blow up this school and then lie about it. It's like the

the first thing that happened and it's so emblematic of everything and I guess we'll watch the liars lie about it. Did the United States bomb a girls elementary school in southern Iran on the first day of the war and kill 175 people? Based on what I've seen that was done by Iran. Is that true? Mr. Hickson, it was Iran who did that? We're certainly investigating. But the only side that targets civilians is Iran. We think it was done by Iran. They're very inaccurate, as you know, with their munitions. They have no accuracy whatsoever.

It was done by Iran. His, Hexeth's face is pretty telling. That's exactly what I wanted to point out. This could be a scene in Veep or succession where it pans to his face and he's like, yeah, staring daggers at his back. I'll tell you this. The only side that deliberately target citizens is Ron. We just carelessly do it and aren't out lying about it.

Like, for professional liars, this is a bad, bad attempt. Like, they clearly know, like, the thing would be going back and forth, like, crazy. You could see it in their faces. They know. This isn't even the only example of this. There are other clips of each of them individually being asked about this and very similar responses kind of frantically. And again, and I believe we said this four days ago, five days ago, you're still investigating? You're still investigating this? How do you not know? How could you

possibly not know if you blew up a school on day one? It's been more than a week. There have been so many other independent investigations that have come to this conclusion. The fact that they are still saying we're investigating is just so obvious what's going on. They're really, they really, they got to go. I understand that the United States is almost certainly the people behind this specific strike. But to pretend, to have the gall, to pretend as if we didn't watch Israel brutally murder, thousands and thousands, tens of thousands of civilians, at least over the past few years. Targeting.

and you need to join us in bombing Iran. And Obama was like, no, I'm not going to do that with you. I'm going to go this other route to get the Iran nuclear deal, which somebody destroyed at some point. I forget who, whatever. I can't remember. Look, you know, this has, this has been a long story when it comes to Iran. And back during the Obama administration, the Israelis were pushing President Obama to take

military action against Iran and were warning that they would do it themselves if he didn't. And he wouldn't because he thought the better way to get at the nuclear program, which is what we were focused on, was through very muscular diplomacy backed up by very, very strong sanctions that we rallied the world to put in place. And then we got the Iran nuclear agreement. Obviously, it's to Blinken's benefit to say that. But right, like, it's obviously a benefit to to say this and to look good and more responsible and stuff. We didn't work tricked. Also, like, what, we've, we helped with the genocide for years and years.

So, like, we're not looking so great anyway. But they tricked Trump this time. And it makes perfect sense that it would have been a tactic, at least attempted in the past. That didn't work on people who aren't as easily tricked as the most easily tricked man in the world. The fact that Lindsay Graham helped in this is really, really appalling. Not surprising. He's, he's like the holdenest blood feast of them all. He's been wanting war with Iran forever. Yeah, who a colleague was like, there's never been a war. There's never been a place he doesn't want to bomb. Yeah. Something. Some colleague said that about him a few months ago. And Lindsay Graham

made several trips to Israel in the weeks leading up to this to try and be like working with the Netanyahu government. Here's how you're going to get Trump on board. We're going to do this. Yeah. Isn't Lindsay Graham also the one out there saying Cuba's next? I'm not looking for a fair fight. If we get in a fight, I want to win it.

Trump is now doing it. A bunch of them are, but Lindsey Graham included. Yes, Lindsay Graham is. He wears free Cuba hats on TV now. And he's like, we're taking out all the bad guys. We're going around. and picking fights with everyone. Shocking.

I mean, like, do you think this is going well, sir? Well, that's the thing, because they thought they clearly, again, this is all sort of like slowly being doled out and revealed the most obvious truth. Like, they weren't prepared for this. They didn't know what was going to happen. They thought it was going to be just like Venezuela for some reason. I have no idea why they thought it was going to be the exact same thing. Like, very clearly, like, there was some sort of, like, arrangement. The situation with Venezuela was fundamentally different, and their approach to it was different.

I don't know why they thought it would be the exact same thing this time. You got the same thing. You killed the leader, and now another leader from the same group is in charge. It's different because you're blowing more stuff up. You shouldn't have done the initial thing, but you're clearly thinking of this as a much different campaign. But I think the success of that made him think he could do more and have similar success. It's tough because there is reporting and also just a wealth of knowledge available to all of us to understand how fundamentally different this situation is. And presumably there are people around him that have told him the realities of an invasion in Iran.

It's confusing. It's confusing why you would go ahead and do this awful, poorly thought out plan because there, yeah, again, there is reporting. that he knew what would happen. But yeah. But he doesn't want to believe that. He also, as we all know, listen to the last person in the room if someone says, no, no, no, no, it'll be okay.

Like, that's one version of how it could pan out. But we're the United States of America, man. We can do it. And like, there's just so many warnings. No one, no one really believed that it would be fine. And now they're like, well, we didn't, we didn't think that they were going to, like, retaliate or, like, do anything about it.

What do you mean? What do you mean? Just really, like, really, really absurd. I want to circle back to Lindsay Graham real quick because he is so evil. And it kind of dovetails with something we talked about last week. There's this tweet from him. So as we know, he wanted this to happen to the point where he really like worked behind the scenes to make this happen to trick the president into doing this. He has this tweet after Israel bombed a bunch of oil fields.

Soon the Iranian people will be in charge of their own favor. In that regard, please be caught. about what targets you select. Our goal is to liberate the Iranian people in a fashion that does not cripple their chance to start a new and better life when this regime collapses. The oil economy of Iran will be essential to that endeavor. You can't touch the oil. You can't bomb the oil. You can't do anything with the oil. You can blow up a school. It's fine. 175 girls blow up the school. We don't care about that. But once you touch the oil, I'm going to tweet the hell out of this tweet. And I'm going to tell you you can't do that. It's just really, really disgusting. Because that's more valuable than

human life. Obviously. Like, yeah, like, it's just, they're saying it out. They're saying it. And it's, we know that they think that. But like, the fact that they're all up in arms about this, but they're still like, well, we're investigating the school. We don't need to worry about that. Yeah, but the water desalination plant, the oil infrastructure in Tehran. Like, what happened in Tehran this weekend, the apocalyptic videos from this huge city with 10 million people living in it. 10 million terrorists, Jonathan. Well, that's why I do want to play this Heg-Seth clip from 60 minutes because he's the guy standing behind Trump and then he says, listen, we're investigating, which means we did it.

But also, the Iranians are the only ones who target civilians. And he hasn't said yet that he is misspoken, not that we've seen. as of when we're recording. As if you would. This is Pete Hagssef on 60 minutes. Does this put U.S. personnel in any more danger than the otherwise would be? Well, the Russian involvement. No one's putting us in danger.

We're putting the other guys in danger. That's our job. So we're not concerned about that. We mitigate it as we need to. Our commanders factor all of this. But the only ones that need to be worried right now are Iranians that think they're going to live. Iranians. Yeah, he's evil.

He loves this. It doesn't seem like he. cares. He doesn't seem that like the kind of guy who'd say, no, we can't target their water infrastructure so that 30 villages won't have clean water. That's a war crime. He brags about how there are no rules of engagement that like, yeah, we're not going to like it's because that's woke. Exactly. So he's not saying only the bad guys target civilians, but also we're not going to do the woke war anymore where you don't target civilians. Um, you know, they're trying to have the war is peace type thing.

Yeah. I mean, yeah, since day one, they're like, yeah, we've always been at war, actually, with Iran, and we're finishing the job and they, you know, it's all. I don't want to brush too quickly past the story that Cody mentioned, which is Israel targeting the oil field. And Jesus, just the hellscape that we watched unfold over the weekend and, you know, raining oil, oil dripping through the streets, streams of fire and just. in this city, in this beautiful ancient city, which again, month ago, with the protest movement, Donald Trump pretending that this was about trying to liberate the people. And yeah, it's impossible to square those two things. They don't give a shit about the people. This is from Axios on Sunday.

Scoop, U.S. dismayed by Israel's Iran fuel strikes, sources say. So now it looks like we're getting the same Biden plan of. like, oh, we're so mad at them for doing the thing that they're doing. And even if that's true, even if, even if the Trump administration was like, oh, they didn't say they were going to do that, what is Netanyahu's motivation to not push forward? You're pot committed now. You already got tricked, man. He fooled you. And I'm like hesitant to even say tricked because it kind of takes away agency from Trump. That's not how I mean it. It's like, but no, they, They encouraged you and gassed you up to do this thing.

That's the right way to put it. Like Netanyahu knew this was going to be a kind of a debacle, even if it goes the way he wants. But they very, very much encouraged Trump into thinking that like a week in and out. And then once that week has come and gone and all this is going on, well, you're not going to back down now, are you? Well, there's just this is the hubris, the hubris of the. American Empire, the hubris of this man, this idea that rules don't apply to us, that we have enough money to throw out the problem, even though we don't have the manufacturing to manufacturing the weapons that you want to be, that you would need to sustain a campaign like this.

Just the short-sightedness. And yes, gas unups, press those just right buttons like you, sir, you're the one that can handle this. I don't think any other president could have been able to want to do this, but you can. What are the other benefits? Well, we'll learn our benefits. What is it that they want? We're still figuring that out, I think.

He was tricked. He was gassed up. The oil, sure. Oh, there. Maybe there's some idea that this is going to go perfectly according to plan. Already is not. And this would be a good trading partner in the future, you know, untapped markets. I guess there's all of that.

But it's all vague, fuzzy. Yeah, sure. Why not? We'll just bulldoze our way through. just gaslight the world and we'll get what we want. Sorry, that's not what's going to happen. This is a fucking disaster. Should we mention the possibility of ground troops, but not a draft? Well, yeah, this Carolyn Levitt appearance on Fox News got shared around over the weekend, and some people shared it with a quote, Trump might institute a draft, which is not what she said.

Maria Bartaromo introduced this by saying mothers are worried. mothers specific. Mothers are worried that their kids are going to get dragged into this, that there's going to be a draft. Can you, and then pause, can you explain the president's thinking on ground troops and the possibility of ground troops? And then, of course, Carolyn Levitt says, well, you know, that's not the plan right now, but we don't take options off the table. Very wisely, Trump does not take options off the table.

But this really spread around quickly on Sunday, this idea that Carolyn Levitt wouldn't take a draft off the table. and like, no, she didn't take anything off the table, but the question specifically was not about a draft. I'm trying to think of what would make people revolt more, $12 gas or Trump saying, well, we got to pull you. We don't have enough soldiers. We're going to do a draft.

Here's the reality of whatever these vague goals are, whatever the goal is. Freedom. You cannot do it the way that we're doing it. You would, I think, require ground troops in some capacity, which may or may not be in the process of happening. It's one of those things, those chatters on Twitter that I don't need to give too much credit to.

I mean, there's this clip of Heggseth being asked, do we have any overt or covert forces inside of Ron right now? And he goes, uh, I wouldn't tell you that if I did. Well, and then there's, you know, yeah, you wouldn't. But, about like people saying, like, uh, I got a call from my son or this mother got a call from the son saying they're confiscating the phones, but I'm going in. And, you know, I don't know if that's true or not.

But I'm going to be irresponsible and say, yeah, it is. Chatter online. I know, I know. But we all serve our roles here. I could be the one that's like, I don't know about that. But guess what I think is going on? Perfect. Now I'm going to be uptight and finish my point, guys.

Well, we'll see if I can because I'm so scattered. But in order to achieve this goal, is more and more boots on the ground. Troops there. You're going to see. I think that that's what it's going to do. take. Yes, the gas price is going up. People seeing the reality of troops being sent their boots on the ground. The timeline keeps getting pushed. You start to understand it's a quagmire. You start to understand that our troops are getting ambushed in terrain that they don't understand.

And the president doesn't care and it's very callous when discussing it. You know, I've seen floated online like obviously it's starting to be clear that there is no easy out there's no end that's easily attainable at this point so what are what are the exit strategies just declare our victory well that's not going to end anything um there's been another thing floated like we're going to have a straight team going and just take their uranium okay how you're going to do that bro underground bunkers you're going to get all the we're just going to take it out in the middle of the night? What are you talking about?

The team from Armageddon is going to be sent in there. Or Elon will be like, I could get the uranium. I've built a tube. I've built a tube to get us in there. I've got a submarine. Unlike you pedophiles, I've got a plan. The best case scenario is bad. But maybe the best case scenario right now is Trump pulls everything out and declares

some sort of victory, leaving another country. in shambles with the same sort of regime, but maybe even more hard lot? Like, we don't know. Maybe it'll be okay for Trump for the next year, but it doesn't make the problem, it makes the problem is worse. Well, yeah, he already made it worse. But that's also a tactic or a move that he could do if it was only his war, right? Like he didn't go, he didn't make this decision go like, yeah, we're going to do war with Iran.

Ah, I fucked it up. Ah, we're out of there. Israel's doing this too and he's not he like is he going to be like I don't want to do this anymore I'm pulling out and they're going to be like us too like this is going to continue um probably with or without um our uh support I don't know it just doesn't seem like it's going to be a good yeah another thing outcome um maybe the the best exit ramp would be for or Donald Trump to be removed from office and for the United States to say, sorry, you.

Obviously. But. I'm bad. Vance, you didn't like this war, right? I actually, I thought. So here's why people hate the mainstream media, because I've been against this war from the beginning. Yeah.

Yeah, I mean, that's an option. It almost makes me laugh, like, people saying, like, Vance has said one thing about the war and then did something else. It's, like, completely ridiculous. And then I'm like. Not even, yeah. is how I respond normally. We could have President Vance and have this entire thing fall in his lap, which is like, right, he's

going to have all these people from the defense or war department and state department in his ear. He's going to want to get out and be like, yeah, I stopped this. I'm the peace guy. Trump was the war guy, and we disagreed about that. But anyway, I'm going to try to get us out, but he's not going to one. the same kind of scandal times 10 that happened to Biden when we left Afghanistan, the second and third and fourth order effects of this are going to be felt for generations. And it's now

they can drop the bombs, but now so much is out of our hands. It's been done. It's been done. It's been done. Like, even we could leave right now or relentlessly bomb or send in ground troops and they can maybe control 4% of the outcome that happens and they have no idea what that's going to be. right you can you can point in one direction or another but it's not like you're pulling a lever on the trolley problem you don't know where the trolleys are going and you don't know where you want them to go like you barely have an idea of like well what does success even look like to them in their minds let alone to you know we and we said this before maybe a little bit simplistic but war is bad is why we don't want to do it it does seem simplistic until you really think about it

And then it's like, it is actually bad. But not these days, not the, not to the anti-war party. And our anti-war voices like the Timothy Pools who are really, really on board with this, by the way. I haven't checked in. Of course they are. You haven't checked in with Tim? Well, I don't know. And you're dressed for it.

about $4? $4?4, you know, I'll sneeze into it. Who cares? He's like, I don't have to talk about that. Just give him more. Just give him money. Why can't just give it to them? But I, you know, I love seeing online. Like, what are we talking about? We've destroyed their. Navy just let the ships pass through you're not paying attention sir whom ever said that online

it's about so much there's there's bombs everywhere underneath there's people on the shore there's missiles to be shot there's a very tiny amount of space that these oil takers can navigate did you see our present our vice present

humans they aren't soldiers they're just Also, the- People that work on an oil rig. Dracian famously jokes about how you shouldn't go fishing in certain areas or you get blown up. Like the idea, like, it's safe, but also like we love blowing stuff up indiscriminately. Did you see Brian Kilmead on Fox News this morning say like the oil tanker captains should just have some guts and go? And hey, guys, even though we get the oil, the market's flush. this is fear.

I'm still going to insure your ships. So go through the straight. And, you know, that's just part of it. If you want to diminish the Iranian threat, if you want to make sure that this ends up with complete Iran capitulation, sew some guts and go through that straight and do it. What's a weird baby bullies.

Like, what are you talking about? Like, just like this thing, this like situation that we've created, just fucking deal with it. for us and be, I don't know, what a stupid guy. Again, not soldiers, not anybody trained. These are just people that work on an oil rig. But man up.
