Hey there, Gene Hackman's news years.
Like and subscribe if you're cool.
You look cool.
And here's some cool news.
Old cool news.
But still new news.
That's cool.
Here's some old new cool news.
The reflecting pool is still a hot mess.
In celebration of America's 250th birthday,
the Trump administration and its head Trump, Donald J. Trump,
decided to turn one of the nation's most recognizable monuments
into a casino swimming pool where the vinyl has been dissolved by all this spring.
ray-tan acid and cocaine boogers.
It had to be drained a second time,
but not before looking like a stage fatality
in moral combat, like a swamp, you might say.
He also hosted a pay-per-view event at the White House.
You know, the place where they filmed that Tesla commercial?
During the event, his big dummy crime son, no, no, the other one,
clumsily tried to see if any of the fights were fixed
and got caught because he's a big dummy.
Then one of the fighters got so drunk he threw up on himself,
and called Michelle Obama a man.
Happy birthday, freedom!
Trump is now blaming vandals for the damage to the grass
caused by that whole event, as if he just
forgot the event happened.
You put a bunch of structures and people there, Don,
that is going to hurt the grass.
The grass that you frequently talk about how it's alive,
just like people.
You put structures and people on people, sir.
It's not a mystery.
Of course, he also blamed vandals for the reflecting pool.
reflecting pool, despite that not being the case. So I guess that's his go-to word to blurt
whenever he's challenged about a cheap construction job. He probably wrote it in all his bankruptcy
filings. Anyway, you ever notice how the president of the United States is kind of a scummy crime
guy? Like, really, just think about it. Just for just for a second. I know he seems really classy,
but with all that gold, but I think...
that Donald Trump might be a really overt criminal?
Like he's an adjudicated rapist and grifter,
who's perhaps so obvious about his many crimes
that he would be dismissed as a suspect from an Agatha Christie story
for being too on the nose, an orange herring,
a real pickled fish, but it's actually more than that.
It's not just that Donald Trump is a criminal, which he is,
but also that,
that he's pro-crime, as in he likes and encourages crime,
which is technically different from being a criminal,
which he also is. What I'm saying is,
Boy, Trump sure does love crime.
Great title, great president. And boy, does he.
Not be a great president, but love crime, I mean.
Trump can't get enough of crime,
and the criming criminals who crime it.
It's his favorite show on television, and it truly doesn't matter which crime.
Any crime will do from tax evasion to domestic violence and sexual assault, to human trafficking,
to regular murder, to the war crimes kind of murder.
It's all good in Trump's hood, which is white and pointy and very round at the bottom to accommodate his neck.
So it kind of looks more like a traffic cone when he wears it.
You can also rephrase Trump's love of crime in a different way, which is that Trump's
shows open contempt for the law when he sees it as an obstacle.
Trump's view of the world is heavily diluted by crusty conservative action movies from
the 1980s, which probably not coincidentally, was the last time the general public sincerely
believed he was good at anything.
To him, everything is a revenge fantasy, and he's Charles Bronson.
Rules just get in the way of the fantasy.
Just like rules only get in the way of Charles Bronson shooting a guy with a rocket launcher.
and this way of thinking extends out to the people he finds useful.
Again, doesn't matter the crime they do, he will love it, if they love him,
or at least pretend to love him.
Or failing all that are people he wishes he could be.
For example, Trump loves and admires dictators.
It's funny, for a guy who loves 80's action so much,
Trump sure loves the people who would be the villains of those stories.
But I guess when you lack human empathy, you probably can't see the difference between a gritty
hero cop who doesn't play by the rules and a Roman emperor stoning people to death for fun.
To him, Marion Cobra Cabretti and Caligula are basically the same dude.
For example, Trump has been crowing about Vladimir Putin ever since he first hit the campaign trail.
The first one.
He reportedly fawned over Nicholas Maduro.
specifically about how smart and tough he was.
Even though the honeymoon phase with Maduro is over,
Trump openly loved every brutal authoritarian policy
of Maduro's regime.
In fact, he loved those extrajudicial killings so much,
he started doing hundreds of his own during his second term,
murdering over 200 people in boat strikes
since the beginning of last year,
and claiming without evidence that these were strikes
against boats carrying drug traffickers.
The locals of a Venezuelan village from which one of the destroyed boats departed claimed the occupants were fishermen.
Not that it matters because it's just as illegal to blow up a boat full of drug traffickers as it is to blow up a boat full of fishermen or children or a school full of children,
which the Trump administration has also done this year.
Gosh, remember the war crimes?
Are we going to blow past the war crimes?
Seems like a big deal to do war crimes.
That's like the worst two words, right? War and crime? Because the president, you know, doesn't get to unilaterally kill people. The Constitution is pretty specific about that. But those are just Trump's heroes, people he professionally admires. He loves dictators. He's begun to even side with them. Just recently, Trump truthed out, quote, based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong-un of North Korea, I am not happy with the fact that the United States
States has long ago agreed to participate in joint military exercises with South Korea.
Therefore, and based on the fact that it is too late to cancel, I have instructed Secretary
of War Pete Hegseth to substantially reduce the joint military exercises.
Trump is publicly taking the side of North Korea and reducing our partnership with South Korea?
Why?
Is he just stupid?
Oh, yeah.
But also, Trump added, quote,
I recently asked the president of South Korea if they would like to join us in the denuclearization
of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and they said no thanks.
Well, at least they were polite in turning down participation in Trump's completely
useless and unpopular war.
But yeah, clearly he's acting out of personal spite here, which of course is going to weaken
our relationship with a country that's currently making a ton of technological and cultural
contributions like those fictional squid games. And I guess strengthen our relationship with the dictator
country doing the non-fictional squid games instead. But I guess Kim Jong-un is nice to Trump and
compliments him. So America has to be pals with the country that jails people for thought crimes.
Oh, yeah, I can see why Trump likes the place now that I think about it. So going back to the 80s,
Charles Bronson of it all, what Trump ultimately sees as the rules that get in the way,
are just the citizens, right?
All the laws and voting and democracy and woke crap like that.
He admires the way these dictators don't play by those rules.
The people's rules.
Seems bad.
Anyway, excited for the GOP to fall in line and pretend they love North Korea now,
because that's, of course, the next thing that happens.
Somehow this becomes a partisan issue and not just a moral one.
For example, remember all the child sex trafficking that Trump loves?
Well, that reminds me.
Trump loves child sex trafficking.
Okay, maybe he doesn't love it.
Maybe.
But he sure has made this subject somehow a divisive issue within his own party.
Imagine that.
Imagine the question of whether or not child sex trafficking should be punished, becoming divisive.
Because as it stands right,
Now, the Republican Party is split on whether or not to pursue the Epstein files and
even whether or not they should pardon Galane Maxwell.
Why would they want to pardon her?
Oh, right, I remember because the child sex trafficker was pals with the president.
Weird.
Trump chopped it up with world famous child rapist Jeffrey Epstein so often that the president
is one of the most named persons in the Epstein investigation.
what that may or may not say about his possible involvement
in a child trafficking conspiracy,
what does it say that Epstein was undeniably
one of Trump's closest friends?
I mean, the man sent him a gorgeous birthday card.
You don't send something like that to a casual hangout.
That's BFF territory.
What a swell birthday card from our president, The Rapist.
Seen on camera partying and leering with
the world's most famous child sex trafficker.
I know this is old news, but also should it be?
Should this be news we're used to?
Should we get used to the fact that the president was close friends with Epstein and has
repeatedly mentioned for no good reason that he could totally pardon his child sex trafficking
accomplice?
And now this is a point of contention within his part
Like, this is the stuff they're infighting about.
Say what you will about progressives and lefties and the dams, and there is much to say.
The basic question of whether or not child rapists should be punished is something they put to bed a while ago.
Because even though everyone has to distance themselves from Epstein, I guess Trump gets a pass.
Even the first goddamn lady had to come out of her lair and do a presser
conference specifically to denounce the sex trafficker that was undeniably her husband's pal.
And now, Maga and the Republican Party are just, it's just a home for sex criminals.
Andrew Tate and his brother are sex traffickers and rapists.
They were literally caught holding women against their will.
And yet, the White House just has their back, or rather had their back for way longer than they should have.
perhaps because one of the Tate's former lawyers works for Trump.
They're just criminals.
Like not even political figures.
These two dopes, sex trafficked and raped women, and yet the Tate brothers and their fate
are also somehow baked into MAGA, because they themselves are MAGA guys.
This is going to be a running theme.
Specifically, how many MAGA people are revealed to be involved in gross sex crimes,
and how the general acts of sex crimes.
crimes and crimes against women are given blanket approval by the right wing as if they are
inherently political crimes. Again, this isn't about Trump's crimes, but Trump's, and by extension
MAGA's love of crime, people doing crime, and how those people are rewarded for crimes.
And look no further, of course, than the presidential pardons. So let's pardon me real quick
and go to an ad break because I feel like it, pardon me for feeling like it,
and then when we return, we will do show and so on.
You know, you know how show works.
Once the nights start getting a little cooler,
nothing beats sliding into a cozy bed at the end of the day.
Now, if you're watching this, say 40 years into the future,
cooler is something the weather used to be
instead of forever sweltering.
The temperature, you're not going to believe this, went down at night.
I know it probably doesn't make sense to you, but it was pretty stellar.
And great sheets, a soft duvet, and an extra layer or two made all the difference.
Quince makes hotel quality betty using the top natural materials design for lasting comfort.
You into a premium flax?
Well, their 100% European linen gets softer with every wash, and their organic cotton bedding
will be the most breathable and soft you've ever owned.
I should know.
I've been obsessed with Quince bedding for a while now.
Literally all my sheets and quilter from Quince.
Plus, Quince's products can be up to 80% cheaper because they work directly with ethical factories
and cut out the middlemen.
For you far future viewers, a factory was a big building where stuff was made and you could buy the stuff and then use it in your life.
You didn't have to exclusively barter for water and cooking oil.
Oh, okay, speaking of which, they have more than just betting.
They've got everything from apparel and home essentials to cookware and furniture.
But I love how warm and cool.
cozy I feel in my quince bedding every night.
I never want to leave.
You know, I think I'll just skip telling you future folk what a bed is.
I don't want to upset you guys too much.

Show back. Hi, thank you for being here with me.
I need a friend to do crime with.
Cool crime, not the crime we're talking about in this episode.
We mentioned before the break that Maga and Trump
seemed to be generally pro-crime across the board.
So long as the crime was done by people,
they like, I guess. Sometimes they seem to like people because they did crime, which we will get to.
And as we mentioned, Trump's pro-crime stance is most evident when you look at how he chooses to use
the presidential pardon. Specifically, he chooses it often because Trump loves pardons. For being the
Drain the Swamp candidate of the party of personal responsibility and law and order,
Trump sure does love pardoning people.
During his second term, Trump has issued pardons
at about 22 times the rate of President Biden,
erasing $1.5 billion in financial restitution
and forfeitures owed to both victims and the government,
compared to the $700,000 eliminated by Biden's pardons.
So, cool.
Kind of seems like Biden was more of a law and order fan.
I was a homicide guy.
I love that detective munch.
Trump has even pardoned criminals for convictions his own Justice Department fought hard to secure.
So it's not exactly a big mystery why lawyers have been fleeing the DOJ over the past year,
like ticks abandoning a dead raccoon.
He particularly seems to reward scammy grifters because game-recognized game.
Also, it's mob shit. Now these people owe him a favor, you see.
And he's signaling to all the other scamy grifters in the world.
world, that they are free to operate as long as they are loyal to him. Say what you will about Trump,
like how he sucks and looks like a garbage pale adult, but the man sure rewards loyalty.
Until he doesn't. For instance, he pardoned Trevor Milton, the CEO of Nicola, a car company
that was a rip-off of Tesla in more ways than just the name. Milton copied the Musk playbook of
using prop cars and staged footage to bilk investors out of millions of dollars. Also, he's a
of us a break. Trevor Milton, that's a villain from cyberpunk, but Milton tossed Trump nearly
two million bones for his reelection campaign, and Trump rewarded Milton with a pardon. There was
no reason to let this guy off the hook. He's just a crook. Kind of a funny crook. He taped a bunch
of iPads inside a dummy car to make it look like it had technical displays like the Enterprise D,
but he's still just some guy who stole a bunch of money, much of it from regular people who lost
their savings hoping to get in on the ground floor of the next Tesla.
Milton is just an unambiguous felon Trump pardoned in exchange for a couple million dollars.
Here's the president barely giving a shit to explain his decision.
He did a business deal, like in Utah, as I have it, and I think he was exonerated, and then
they brought him into New York, where he had a rough, rough road and road, I mean, he was exonerated.
It was a big celebration. Again, I don't know him, but I was, they say it was very unfair,
and they say the thing that he did wrong was he was one of the first people that supported a gentleman
named Donald Trump for president. He supported Trump. He liked Trump. I didn't know him, but he liked him.
It was in Utah, and they went after him, they went after his family, they went after his businesses.
And he was, I believe, exonerated, and then they went after him again, and they went after him again.
brought him this time into Manhattan, and he had nothing to do with Manhattan.
And they got him.
And I said, that's unfair.
There are many people like that.
They support Trump, and they went after him.
You don't realize this is a vicious group of people that were in this office before us.
This is a vicious group.
They're violent.
What they were doing to people, and you could go story after hundreds and even thousands of stories.
Fact check.
No, he was not exonerated.
he was convicted of a crime.
Subtle difference in those words, I guess.
But sure, nothing says law and order,
like a rambling diatribe about Milton's non-existent exoneration,
collapsing into a revenge fantasy
against the violent Biden administration
that somehow ends in pardoning an unrepent grifter
who supported a man named Donald Trump for president.
He did nothing wrong after all,
and now, Trevor Milton is back at it,
raising money for a new jet company.
I'm sure it'll go great. I can't wait to get into one of those jets. Oh, did I mention that one of
his lawyers was a guy named Brad Bondi? You know, Pam Bondi's brother? Oh, and did I mention
that Trevor Milton was also accused of sexual assault, but not investigated for it? They really
love their sex criminals. Anyway, similarly, Trump commuted the sentences of Lawrence Duran and
Marionella Valera, who were convicted after their company, American Therapeutic Corporation,
filed more than 800,000 false Medicare claims to the tune of over $200 million.
At the time, this was the largest therapy-related Medicare scam in history.
Trump's pardon also wiped out more than 80 million in restitution payments to defrauded Medicare patients.
That's cool. I'm sure they didn't need it.
Just like with Milton, Trump never gave a reason for commuting Duran's 50-year sentence.
For the love of the game, I guess.
He had already commuted the sentence of a third co-conspirator during his first term,
so why not let them all go?
Seriously, he never gave a reason, and nobody asked him about this.
The most we could find was a vague excuse from an anonymous White House staffer.
Meanwhile, his administration is twisting itself in furious knots,
trying to argue that we need to dump hundreds of millions into investigating Medicare fraud
perpetrated by everyday people. Yeah, it's definitely the sick and impoverished who are plundering
this extremely vital program and not weird millionaires and their girlfriends whom the president
keeps pardoning like an incubus song. It's pattern forming, right? Scammers. Trump loves to pardon
scammers specifically. I wonder why. There's also Changpang Zao, the former CEO and founder of
Bynance who got busted for processing $2 billion worth of transactions stemming from criminal
funds on his platform, which was in violation of anti-money laundering laws.
Zau had to step down as CEO while Binance paid a $4 billion fine.
However, Trump pardoned Zau in October of 2025, and shortly after that, Binance helped
launch the Trump family's World Liberty Financial.
What a weird coincidence!
the Trumps are making hundreds of millions
with their weird crypto ventures.
Good for them.
It's about time those Trump's got to win, you know?
Trump also commuted the sentence of George Santos,
the Muppet on Sesame Street,
who cannot tell the truth.
If you recall, Santos made headlines
for being one of four Republicans
to flip house seats in New York in 2022,
only to immediately make even more headlines
for being a hilariously self-destructive liar,
like the star of his own sitcom, a grimy office spinoff where Michael yes-ands himself into an awkward homicide.
He said that his grandparents were Holocaust survivors and that his mom was in the World Trade Center on 9-11.
That stuff is very easy to check, especially when the truth looks like this.
Immigration records obtained by NBC News show that Santos's mother was not even in the U.S. when 9-11 happened.
She wasn't even in the country, George. Did you think other countries don't keep records?
Are you a child who got bigged?
Maybe. Because on top of all the weird lies, he also spent a bunch of campaign money on Botox and only fans.
It was a fun news cycle. It was one of the only times in recent memory where both sides of the political aisle agreed, well, this guy's got to go, right?
We don't need him for literally anything.
Santos was expelled from Congress and sentenced to seven years in prison until Trump commuted his sentence.
Which wouldn't you know it?
Also erased Santos' obligation to make restitution payments to everyone he ripped off.
Santos framed his plight as a case of a woke liberal justice department punishing a loyal GOP supporter too harshly.
And Trump can always dance to that tune with his stupid dance.
He's never really given any other explanation for boosting Santos from the slammer and wiping
away his obligation to society.
Also, not for nothing, but Santos's outrageous behavior on the campaign trail helped the Republicans
flip a seat, and you could interpret Trump's involvement as a signal to others that the ends
justify the means.
Engage in whatever behavior you think necessary to secure victory, and our gangster president
will take care of you.
His little salacious crumbs.
And don't worry, there's always room under that crime cone for more salacious crumbs.
It's very wide at the bottom.
Pardon the crones!
This keeps going.
Trump has also made history by being the first president to pardon a corporation,
letting HDR global trading off the hook for intentionally violating the Bank Secrecy Act.
Basically, every regulation required to run a financial exchange in the United States.
However, HDR Global Trading just so happened to lists Trump coin, Melania Coin, and World Liberty Financial within one day of each cryptocurrency's, or should I say, grifto currencies, respective launch.
So, you know, they still get to do business.
Trump has made it clear he is all in on a completely unregulated crypto industry, particularly as he continues releasing his own crypto.
I bet he squeezes out at least one more before he croaks.
He's trying to slap his big head mode dome on everything he can before the skeletons drag him to hell.
What's one more grift coin?
But it's not just scammers after all.
Trump also pardoned Juan Orlando Hernandez, the former president of Honduras,
who was prosecuted by the Justice Department under President Biden for his connection to drug cartels and drug trafficking.
It's pretty much the same reason the Trump administration gave for deposing Maduro, and while we're not going to defend one form of interventionism over another, it's worth noting that Trump claims to have deposed the president of Venezuela for alleged drug trafficking ties, while pardoning another deposed president who was once quoted as saying he wanted to shove the drugs right up the noses of the gringos by flooding the United States with cocaine.
That's literally how the bad guys in Trump's favorite movies talk.
Also, the investigation into Hernandez began under Trump's first administration.
The point is, it's not about the drugs.
It's never about the drugs.
Hernandez has ties to the far right in the U.S. and Latin America as well as with Israel,
so it's not hard to guess why the people in Trump's orbit, including Roger Stone and Matt Gates,
lobbied to get him released.
Gee, for being the Law and Order president of the Law and Order Party, he sure loves erasing criminal convictions.
All told, in his second term, Trump has already issued over 200 individual pardons,
not counting the roughly 1,500 blanket pardons he threw to the January 6th rioters.
Oh boy, let's talk about those meatballs.
On the first day of his second term, Trump pardoned every single person convicted for their role in the
attack on the Capitol. Even the members of the far-right militia groups, the proud boys and the
oathkeepers who were convicted of seditious conspiracy. Even the people who violently assaulted
police officer Michael Fanon, who suffered a heart attack and brain damage after being clubbed and
tased, and those who pepper sprayed Officer Brian Sicknick, who suffered two strokes and collapsed
later that night and died the following day. Partons across the board since being granted
their not figurative get out of jail free cards, nearly 100 January Sixers have re-offended
with at least 16 people arrested for sex crimes, including child molestation and the transmission
of child sexual abuse material. Real stew of winners you got there. But again, Trump is rewarding
his criminal friends for their loyalty. These people were ready to overthrow the government for him,
maybe even do a light hanging, and have helped him perpetuate the election lie for the last half decade.
He doesn't care what it looks like to the rest of us.
And this isn't the only way that Trump has gone out of his way to make the streets objectively less safe.
After all, Trump's policies are pro-crime.
Having a pro-crime president should be more fun than this.
We should all be allowed to steal one blimp, just one.
Nobody's gonna miss one blimp.
When was the last time you even saw one?
But no, Trump is a fan of gross evil crime,
and he's gotta throw that crime a bone.
After all, he doesn't want to forget where he came from,
shitting on that golden toilet, dreaming up real estate scams.
Consequently, Trump's policies, and therefore the policies
of the Republican Party, are all very pro-crime.
And I don't just mean in the sense of pardoning obvious felons in exchange,
for money and favors, or granting himself and his buddy's immunity from prosecution.
What I'm getting at is that his policies actually increased crime rates.
Trump's budget cuts in his big, beautiful, crocodile mile bill, or whatever the fart he decided
to call it, slashed into programs that have been proven to help lower violent crime.
For example, the Biden administration directed $250 million into community-based violence prevention
programs to combat rising violent crime rates in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdown.
It's not hard to understand why violent crime might have suddenly spiked following one of the more
chaotic and uncertain periods of world history in the last 100 years. But directing money into
these community programs, rather than funneling even more cash into policing, saw positive
results in cities like Baltimore, Camden, and Oakland. It's like you're taking funds from the overly
funded police and redirecting those funds to programs that ultimately make police less necessary.
We should like get a slogan about it so people can criticize the slogan instead of the policy
which works and is a good idea. But the Trump administration cut more than $800 million in federal
grants that fund those and similar intervention programs with the Justice Department arguing
that it was instead going to focus on prosecuting criminals. Which ones? All the
child predators, the president keeps pardoning?
Is that why the DOJ needed more money for prosecutions?
Because we're just going to prosecute the same people over and over?
It's like some kind of door that revolves.
We'll put a pin in that, I'm sure it'll come to me.
Whoa!
We wrote this ahead of time!
Let's talk about war crimes!
The Republican Party is now officially the party of war crimes.
Technically, both parties are and always have been, but Republicans are now very loudly taking
the position that unprovoked boat strikes, regime changes, and an unsanctioned war in Iran
are all signs of a functioning democracy with the best interests of its people in mind.
Not to mention the pardoning of all the indefensible war criminals, but they've been okay
with that since Trump took office in 2017.
Back when the world was Putie Piedi's Oyster, because along with all the people I mentioned
that Trump pardoned, we didn't even count all the war criminals he pardoned during his first term.
And there were a bunch. They all fit into his Charles Bronson category of approved people,
tough badasses, who aren't afraid to kill all the bad people he hates. So he wants to help
them out whenever possible. He sees himself as the tough on crime mayor who comes in to get the
politicians off Cobra's back so Cobra can get back out there and shoot more bad guys.
Except for Trump, the bad guys are large groups of people he despises, usually for racist reasons,
but also for I'm a big piece of shit reasons.
Those categories aren't mutually exclusive, by the way.
There's going to be some double dipping in there, okay?
Double-dipped Trump shit, the worst frutopia flavor.
And these pardons weren't for unpopular or controversial convictions.
These were shameless war-crimeing murderers convicted in large parts.
due to testimony from their fellow soldiers.
Such was the case with Clint Lawrence,
who ordered his men to open fire on three unarmed civilians in Afghanistan
before those same men turned him in for the war crime he did.
In their way, they saw three men on a motorcycle.
They were almost 200 yards away and appeared to be unarmed.
Lawrence said, why aren't you shooting yet?
One soldier fired and missed.
The bike stopped.
the other soldiers held their fire.
Smoke them, Lawrence ordered, over the radio.
From the armored vehicle nearby, a gunner opened fire.
Two of the men were killed.
The third ran away.
Just a war crime, not controversial, and Trump still pardoned him.
After all, he loves violence.
Every soundbite and piece of legislation put forth by MAGA
is either a threat of violence or a pretense for violence.
Trump's endless threats of violence and celebration of violence against his political enemies,
The Fire and Fury.
A whole civilization will die tonight.
Pete Heggseth screaming his way through congressional hearings.
Mark Wayne Mullen challenging everyone to a fight like he just got caught jerking off in the pool.
The message of Cowboy Christie's Gitty Up Girl immigration video was,
Welcome to America, break our laws, and we will hunt you down like minx for my stole.
They love a tough guy, and they love that the war on drugs.
and quest for law and order, let them do the cruelty they crave.
They had to blow up those boats and kidnap the president of Venezuela because of drugs, man.
We gotta keep those drugs off the streets.
But also, we gotta pardon President Juan shove the cocaine up their noses Hernandez for no reason.
Trump probably couldn't even tell you why he did it if you asked him.
He just rambled on about how well, the Biden DOJ was so unfair to my friend Juan, Juan, Juan, Juan, Juan,
The Grudge. I really like that movie. There, I saved you the trouble of asking him.
But also they did ask him.
Well, I was told I was asked by Honduras, many of the people of Honduras, they said it was a
bite and set up. I don't mean by the two is on, but it was the people that surround
the Resilu Desk surround right when he was there, which was about the Florida of Ohio.
And the people of Honduras really thought he was set up.
terrible life. He was the president of the country and they basically said he was a drug dealer because
he was the president of the country and they said I would say my administration set up and I looked at
the tax and I went from that. What evidence is you hear that he was set up and that he wasn't?
You take a look. I mean they could say that you take any country you want if somebody's house
drugs in that country that doesn't mean you arrest the president of what I've been jaded the rest of this
president. Can I just say about giving to you?
That includes this country, okay?
To be honest, I mean, if somebody does something wrong,
you put the president of the country in jail.
They said it was a Biden set up.
It was a Biden administration set up.
And you have a big race going on this week, next week.
I think it's going to be a very important race
and be interested in seeing Honduras.
That's what you're talking about.
Correct.
Hey, I nailed it.
Except the grudge part, maybe next time.
Anyway, there's also the whole illegal war with Iran.
thing, which I guess we're still hammering out. Currently, both the Senate and the House have been
playing make-believe and voting on whether or not to end the war and limiting Trump's power as if he's
going to care. So many crimes, you guys. Trump also sued the IRS and tried to use the $2 billion
settlement he awarded himself to form a slush fund for the January Sixers, aka people he
pardoned for violent crimes that include assaulting police officers, law and order, etc.
As an additional component of that settlement, the IRS isn't allowed to audit him or any
member of the Trump family for previous fraud or investigate any of their past finances.
In other words, the president sued his own government, tried to award himself a $2 billion
settlement, and essentially declared himself and his family immune to prosecution for financial
crimes, and watching the mental gymnastics law and order Republicans tried to pull off
when questioned about this, is like watching the gymnastics scene in Final Destination 5.
Do we have a clip of Mike Johnson?
One of the things that is not in my purview is the Department of Justice, okay,
and how they evaluate cases and resolution of all that.
So I don't know.
I haven't thought about that or read into it.
I got enough to say grace over every day, okay?
So go ask the executive branch about it, all right?
Yeah, that's what I thought, Mike.
Literally more cringy than the gymnastics scene in Final Destination 5,
also known as the best death in the Final Destination series.
Go watch the scene, not gonna show it here, it's gross.
Like everything the GOP does is gross,
and everything they are doing and will continue to do
is and will be gross,
because we gotta take a step back here
after the second ad break.
I know everyone is already aware of it,
but we really have to look at what has become of the GOP.
The once Law & Order Party,
now run by the most cartoonishly criminal,
criminal president who loves crime, any crime, and does crime, and rewards crime.
That's amazing. It all feels like one big prank in a way, and they knew it would destroy them,
didn't they, Lindsay? But let's do that break first to rinse off all this blood of the innocent.
You know, it really builds up when you're not paying attention, so ads.
Jeepers, creepers. Where'd you get those peepers? Seriously, those.
Those are nice eyes.
You want to swap?
Swap eyes?
I'd love to watch big blockbuster movies on Pluto TV

Did you make sure to get behind your ears?
A lot of the blood, the innocent gets gunked up back there.
So we were discussing crime, Trump, and how Trump loves criminals.
And in fact, his policies encourage and reward crime.
And how overtly pro-crime of a criminal he is,
this walking political cartoon character,
like some kind of living-banks installation.
I'm genuinely surprised Trump hasn't walked around
holding a bag with a money sign on the side.
Like, listen, not to be all both sides, but it's not like politicians aren't crooks in general, right?
They're all crooks.
That's what we always say, crooks and clowns.
But as this video is about, Trump seems like the first politician actively fighting on the side of crime.
As if pro-crime is one of his policies.
It certainly is a large part of his and his family's identity.
They're just crime guys.
Proud and out crime guys.
Trump's entire family has gotten in on the scam.
Don Jr.'s net worth went from a downright destitute, 50 million, to 300 million.
And Erics jumped up by a similar percentage to around 400 million, all thanks to
presidential crypto schemes and war profiteering.
The United Arab Emirates pumped $2 billion into the Trump family's crypto business in exchange
for state-of-the-art AI chip technology.
Meanwhile, the government just so happens to keep
awarding lucrative contracts to companies in which Don Jr.'s venture capital firm has a stake.
Five of them so far that we know of.
And earlier this year, the U.S. Air Force struck a deal with a Florida-based drone company
backed by Eric and Don Jr. as part of a push to use drones in Iran over costly interceptor missiles.
Crime guys. At times, visibly coked up crime guys doing some of the scummiest low-level crimes.
Like I know, I already talked about it, but Eric Trump got bust to DM a UFC Hall of Fame or Daniel Cormier for advice on placing a bet.
And not only that, but he did it in the most overt 13-year-old asking for weed way imaginable.
Hey, who do you think is the hot ticket tonight if you were a betting man and wanted to bet on a sure thing that couldn't possibly lose?
I'm just going to cut to the chase, which fight is rigged?
Cormier briefly shared the messages on X,
the Elon Musk-Valentine delivery service,
before deleting them.
It was embarrassing and hilarious,
and it barely even registered as a crime
in the crime-rich environment
that is the Trump administration.
Now, Eric Trump is claiming the DMs were AI fakes,
as opposed to Photoshop?
Just say it's Photoshop.
You don't need to say, it's AI,
because that's what people say now.
But also, Cormier is saying,
saying he was hacked?
Get your lie straight, fellas!
But of course, we all just have to accept
these very obvious lies.
For some reason, we have to give Eric Trump
the benefit of the doubt
and pretend that maybe he didn't try to fix a bet
as dad the president's private White House
pay-per-view fight night birthday party.
How could we even think of such impropriety?
Oh, how dare you?
This is not who we, the Trump family, are.
But if he did do it, well, that's just being smart, right?
Just like how Trump didn't do all the crimes,
but also if he did them, then we love the crimes and they are smart and good.
Which brings me to the larger point in all of this.
Crime is now part of the MAGA ideology.
Again, this video isn't about the crimes that Trump has done.
It's about how Trump and MAGA openly separate.
celebrate and encourage crimes, even crimes that are in no way political.
For example, recently, conservative weirdos made Army Hammer's new movie Citizen Vigilante,
directed by professional Slop Merchant Uvee-Bowl, a big steaming hit.
Sorry, wait, a big streaming hit.
You may recognize Boll as being the director of the worst video game adaptations ever made,
including all the blood rains, all of them, every last blood rain.
Citizen Vigilante generated some controversy after it was denied
a rating in Germany for being so openly Islamophobic there were fears it would promote violence,
which effectively meant it couldn't be screened or sold in that country. Trump's little
Wolfenstein sidekick Elon Musk posted the whole film on X, the racist robot masturbatorium,
as a form of protest against the woke mind virus or whatever. And Maga Chuds have embraced it as a
symbol of right-wing resistance against censorship. This is coming from the same political movement that
regularly demands that talk show hosts be taken off the air for making jokes about Charlie
Kirk and or the president. But that's the good kind of censorship. Anyway, for the purposes
of this video, it's notable that Citizen Vigilante is also controversial for featuring Hammer in a
violent starring role after his career was derailed by intense allegations of sexual battery.
Remember that whole Army Hammer is a cannibal thing? Well, that, unfortunately, obfuscated the fact that
Hammer had been accused of taking S&M role play beyond the bounds of consent by multiple women.
The point is, Hammer wasn't canceled for not being woke enough.
Politically, he was a pretty left-leaning dude.
He even came out against that Citizen Vigilante movie.
I guess he didn't read the script of the film he was in.
But he was propped up by MAGA as if he was some sort of cancel culture hero.
But he was canceled for just being accused of rape and assault.
Similarly, they have now propped up former MCU star turned Daily Wire Action figure Jonathan Majors.
Similar to Hammer, Majors wasn't someone who was unfairly punished by the law.
He didn't get canceled for angering the libs.
He's not even Gina Carrano spreading COVID misinformation or comparing Hollywood to Nazi Germany.
He's a guy who abuses girlfriend and now nobody wants to work with him anymore or watch him play make-believe in movies.
Except for MAGA.
Hooray!
Welcome to the UFC show Jonathan Majors.
Your reward is falling through a glass window
while filming a Ben Shapiro movie.
No!
Oh, indeed.
You see what I'm getting at.
Maga and the right wing have really lost the thread
when it comes to their anger at cancel culture
and are now just angrily fighting on the side
of anyone who does like a crime.
Especially, it seems, a crime against women.
Because as I keep saying, it sure appears that assaulting women is just something they like and support now.
And they've just sort of lumped women into the broader category of libs, which of course is a group of people they also celebrate violence against.
It is this very odd and gradual thing that I think really started to bloom with Kyle Rittenhouse.
You know, the baking mascot who traveled across state lines so he could murder someone and come.
And come he did.
This little discontinued Eminem was embraced by MAGA Republicans after he killed two people and wounded a third defending property against civil unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
Rittenhouse was just a citizen vigilante who traveled 20 miles from Illinois to Wisconsin to patrol a community raging against authoritarian violence for an excuse to kill people he doesn't like with his favorite toy.
And today, he's a conservative media personality, making the rounds on all the podcasts and talk shows of people who scream for martial law every time a poor person gets caught stealing.
But why?
What did Rittenhouse do that made him qualified to be a political figure?
He just, he just shot some people.
But of course, the people he shot happened to be the right people, I guess.
And now he's just, like a pundit, kind of?
The same way Army Hammer and Jonathan Majors are now right-wing celebrities, whether they wanted
to be or not, because they heroically hurt people.
What exactly did they do that was political?
In the end, you have to conclude that the right wing is now just pro-violence, right?
Especially violence against women.
After all, that's their president.
Maga is pro-crime because their president is an open criminal.
Literally, he's a convicted con man and an adjudicated rapist.
Those aren't just mean things to say about the guy.
They are true statements of fact, and they impact the kinds of decisions he's going to make
and the policies he puts forth.
The Republican Party seemingly wants to keep pretending that it's all just words that Trump was
persecuted by a corrupt Biden justice system or whatever, but they don't then get to act
surprised when he pardons a bunch of violent criminals who go on to,
to commit more violent crimes. One January 6er used the money he expected to receive from Trump's
IRS slush fund to assault a child. You remember the $2 billion the president tried to award himself
and his pals after suing the Internal Revenue Service, which he controls as the head of the executive
branch? Trump wanted to award this money to the January 6th rioters, and one of those rioters
turned out to be a child molester
who tried to use that promised slush fund money
to bribe one of his victims into staying silent.
That's indefensible.
Any sane political party would eject that president
like a trebusha bucket full of ham butter and foot sweat.
But the Republican Party has to love this now.
They have to, which is just, it's so surreal
when you consider what the dynamic used to be
when it came to the GOP versus the dead.
on the subject of crime.
Bush and Dukakis on crime.
Bush supports the death penalty for first degree murderers.
Dukakis not only opposes the death penalty,
he allowed first degree murderers to have weekend passes from prison.
One was Willie Horton who murdered a boy in a robbery stabbing him 19 times.
Despite a life sentence, Horton received 10 weekend passes from prison.
Remember Willie?
Remember when Reagan's very own Liam Hemsworth, George H.W. Bush,
ran hard on law and order with the infamous revolving door prisons ads criticizing liberal
crime policies. It's revolving door. That's what I was trying to think of earlier. Which again,
I knew we were ahead of time. What would O.H.W. have to say about Trump pardoning all those
criminals who went on to do more crimes? Sure sounds like this revolving door he was so concerned
about. Despite being racist fearmongering, that Willie Horton's scandal is often credited as the
reason Bush defeated Michael Dukakis, along with this adorable photo of Dukakis playing
dress up in a tank. But the scandal chain from Trump's blanket pardon of 1,500 seditious conspirators
to trying to award himself a $2 billion settlement from the IRS, to trying to give that money
away to the seditious conspirators, to nearly 100 of those pardoned conspirators going on to reoffend,
including at least 14 sexual offenders. All that could be seen as 16 weeks.
Willie Hortons?
100 Willie Hortons?
Two billion Willie Hortons?
Too many Willie Hortons is what I'm getting at.
Trump also took a similarly adorable picture.
It really illustrates how far the GOP has fallen from their high horse when it comes to crime.
And that brings us to the natural conclusion of this episode.
Republicans are no longer allowed to complain about crime and corruption.
Right?
I'm not talking about the validity.
of using fear of crime as a political tactic, which is obviously bad,
but rather just the overall idea that the GOP should even be allowed to act concerned
about crime and corruption.
It's so over.
They don't get that anymore.
Like, take Hunter Biden, please.
The hip, Cullum, 56-year-old son of the former president who represents millennials in
the eyes of MAGA.
Hunter Biden's struggles with substance abuse were endless fodder for MAGA.
Republicans. And his time as a board member of Burisma Holdings, a natural gas company in Ukraine,
became the subject of many allegations of corruption in the Biden administration, or the Biden
crime family, as they love to say. Although to date, there's no evidence of anything illegal
about Hunter's time there. Hunter was aggressively investigated and ultimately charged with a handful
of minor felonies, including tax evasion and some handgun charges related to an incident in which
Hunter's sister-in-law disposed of his handgun in a dumpster. We're not our
arguing that it's okay that he broke these laws, mind you. But it's important to know the comparative
severity of Hunter Biden's criminal offenses versus the Trump boy's wacky misadventures. On his way
out of office, Biden gave Hunter a blanket pardon for any and all federal offenses committed between
2014 and 2024, which covered the tax evasion and gun charges. The president stated that he felt
his son had been unfairly prosecuted and would continue to be unfairly prosecuted by the
incoming administration.
Sounds like, um, the exact reason Trump gives for all of his pardons.
We could do an entire episode about the presidential pardon
and the good and the bad of that.
It's often used for good reasons.
But what I want to talk about here is all the shit
the GOP tried to give Biden over his son
and the pure audacity of that.
To act all puritanical and outrage over Hunter's previous drug
problem as if Don Jr. wasn't a man perpetually
cosplaying as the most coked out ghoul of the 80s. They just, they don't, they don't, they don't get to do that.
Trump literally sued the IRS and tried to grant himself and his kids and his extended family
immunity from any tax audits or investigations. It's very, very hard to pretend that all of that is
okay while pointing to Hunter Biden as an example of the worst nepotistic corruption in the
history of the White House. They're done. No more talking about crime for them.
They're cut off.
And in a way, it's kind of refreshing.
Trump has helped expose the fact that the party of law and order
was never really about law and order at all.
That reputation just gave Republicans a convenient excuse
to dump billions of dollars a year into policing
and prison programs that enrich themselves and their friends
while targeting all the people they don't like.
The right loves trotting out a new Willie Horton
or some other anecdotal example of street crime
to drum up fear every election cycle.
as though street crime is the real problem destroying America,
and to paint Democrats as these pro-crime beatnicks.
But hey, good news, they don't get to say that anymore.
They opened the door to the trashiest criminals on the planet.
Now America is commemorating 250 years of freedom from tyranny
with a piss puddle nobody is allowed to look at,
a plywood prop for a backyard wrestling Nazi,
and a bunch of literal criminals throwing themselves a millionaire fight-cliff.
you can stream for the White House for $14 a month.
Republicans don't get to make one more law and order claim and pretend they're serious.
Or rather, we shouldn't let them.
That should be an immediate pie to the face.
They're done with that.
And we are free from that.
And that's good, I guess, because it was always true that they were full of shit.
But now it's obviously true.
That said, it's a little bitter.
Sweet 2, because in all this talk about how Trump and MAGA worship crime, we haven't talked
about the biggest victim in all of this.
Crime.
Make crime cool again.
Okay, hear me out.
Remember when crime was cool?
To be clear, I'm referring to certain types of crime here.
Roggish crimes, stuff involving props and fun hats, or motorcycles and leather jackets.
That's like 63% of a Batman villain, and Batman villains are pretty cool.
Broadly speaking.
Remember Heat?
Ocean's 11, the Thomas Crown Affair?
You almost saw Brosnan's hog.
The Fast and the Furious.
Now you see me, now you see me three, now you don't.
Parenthetical, Brosnan's hog.
Heck, the Foot clan had its own skate park arcade.
That's too cool for school.
Part of the reason your parents had to warn you to stay away from the
delinquent kids is because they were so rad.
Nobody wants to join a gang that looks like it sucks.
You want to join the gang that has its own arcade skate park.
Rufio didn't take over the Lost Boys by getting good grades.
He dyed his hair like Shadow the Hedgehog
and put in a freaking roller coaster.
Because it's all about rebelling against authority.
Like James Dean and Rebel Without a Cause, they ask him,
what are you rebelling against?
And he says, what do you got?
That shit is cool.
We gravitate towards figures who buck authority when we're younger
because we're eager to be out on our own
and make our own rules.
And we maintain that appreciation of rogues
and sticking to the man as we get older
because there's always injustice to be fought in the world.
And if nothing else, systems of authority
are usually in the wrong about something
and can always be taken down a peg, Robin Hood and junk,
sticking it to the man.
But what happens when the man starts
starts doing scum crimes while all of his serfs cheer him on.
Trump has somehow convinced a lot of people that he's somehow smart and good for stealing
from the government because those people don't seem to realize that he's actually stealing
from them.
It's the sheriff of Nottingham convincing a bunch of people that he's the cool one.
And I'm just scared that this will give crime a bad look, you know?
It's not crime's fault.
And I'm only kind of joking when I say that.
The same way the GOP has hijacked conspiracy theories
that were once cool in counterculture,
so too are they hijacking crime.
Even the dirtbag stuff, like gambling on UFC fights,
those are our crimes, give them back.
You know what?
Where's Warmbo?
Warmbo!
Do you?
Did you just teleport here?
Mm-hmm.
Never mind that.
Warmbo, get your leather jacket, we're stealing a blimp.
You know what?
I'll stay here.
You go steal a blimp.
I may have just doomed a lot of people.
I should make some calls.
I only know birds.
I told you to stop doing that.
But of course, you don't even respond.
Sometimes it's like you don't even, like, respond to me.
Like, when it's just you and me,
and I've got both of my hands showing,
you don't, like, respond to me.
You don't talk to me.
Where you go?
Where you go?
I'll tell you what?
Trump's for.
for the birds. You know what I'm saying?
Uh-huh.
All right. Thanks for watching everybody, and thanks for watching this show, everybody.
