Starting point is 00:00:17 I feel like we're live by now, right? We gotta be. The thing up there says live and it's got seconds on it. We are live. We are alive and we are here. Welcome back to streaming more news. The first and only streaming podcast produced by the Some More News team. I could say that confidently.
Starting point is 00:01:07 That is a fact. That's so accurate. I guess it's not the first one. We've done it a few times. The first The first show, not episode The first show
Starting point is 00:01:18 It's definitely the first show It's not the first episode of this show I feel like I have to introduce myself I'm Katie Stoll Hello Katie Stoll What do I have to do
Starting point is 00:01:30 Cody Johnston, hello Cody Johnston hello and Jonathan is also here Here Present Now for Jonathan's theme song Wow! Ow!
Starting point is 00:01:45 Classic. You get sued immediately for the Jonathan song. I don't know if you know this, Cody. That's kind of a prominent... I made it up just now. Yeah, okay. People are here. Shouting out to people that are here.
Starting point is 00:02:01 It's going too fast. Jonathan. Jay Stahl, 311. Artie Mouse, 11 months of membership. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Wonderful to see you. Jonathan, what are we going to talk about today?
Starting point is 00:02:16 Just give me a little overview. Oh, of everything. Just a couple topics. Everything. For the news engagement news algorithm, I think that we need to at least mention some of the topics we got planned. But we're going to be fast and loose here tonight, folks. We're going to be reacting. It's a loose one tonight.
Starting point is 00:02:32 We're going on on Twitter, all the things. But just let's give a flavor of our conversation, shall we? Good idea. Lots of keywords in the first few minutes. content and what have you. We're going to be talking about mail and voting and the president's scheme to make it not there.
Starting point is 00:02:50 We might mention how he can build his ballroom whenever he wants if he because he's a special little guy the Supreme Court says. We're going to talk about Milo Yanopolis's interview on Pierce Morgan. We're going to talk data centers. The funniest man in America.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Oh, wait. Oh. Ouch. All right. for him presumably. You know, we're going to talk to the United States' imperial adventures around the globe. Sorry, you know, we'll touch on it a little bit because it's going on, and the Secretary of War is still trying to do those things. I would love to talk about Days of Thunder, too.
Starting point is 00:03:31 We'll see if we get there. If we don't, we'll get there in the Patreon after stream. What a good plug for the Patreon after stream that's going to happen. and directly after this stream. So many fun things we'll talk about then. Or now, who knows? We don't know. Maybe we'll talk about one of our many government podcasters' opinions about a specific
Starting point is 00:03:51 actress's body. I have some updated news from our chat at Sailor Day Gurin 8225. I didn't say that right. Thank you for the super chat donation here. But they say, Cody, I don't know if you saw it, but Trump has used the R word back in November 25 describing Tim Walls. So your prediction was correct. Thank you. Was it in a truth or was it out loud?
Starting point is 00:04:25 You're right. Maybe it was in text. Although I'll take half a victory for that. I mean, look, take your win where you can get it for sure. Thank you for pointing this out. He said the R word out loud, but he was quoting what he. he says that Kim Jong-un said about Biden. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:42 But he did say, like if that was the prediction. Yeah, yeah. Does that count? But no, he hasn't done it in like a quiet piggy type of situation. That's what I'm waiting for.
Starting point is 00:04:52 It's like the aggressive like, yeah. Our word. For anybody that doesn't understand what we're talking about, at the beginning of this year, the three of us presented our predictions. So this one of Cody's predictions. What do we got?
Starting point is 00:05:07 So, our word out loud just like doing that and then Barry Weiss out by the end of the year. Yeah. Those were your two. Mine were way off. Was it that there would be no war with Iran that lasted months and months and months? I mean, I specifically said we would not go to war with Iran and here we are, except. Oh.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Yeah. I specifically said that Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, would not do a podcast with his wife talking about Sidney's breasts, but lo and behold, he did that. So that's on me. Yeah. You're messed up. You're too far away and too small, but nobody invited you here celebrates 15 months of membership. It's scrolled away. It's scrolled away. But you already called that out. Wormbo's being negotiated next ceasefire. I don't think that's going to go well. But thank you for 15
Starting point is 00:05:56 months. It's amazing. And I just wouldn't trust Wormbo to do anything. No, absolutely. Ever. At all. Right. I'm going to... Or to anybody. I think we should start talking about some news. I think we've vamped. Yes. So, I've got my...
Starting point is 00:06:13 Substantive. I was not... Yeah, no, we talked about the news that we're going to talk about. So, one of the big news stories today is that a whistleblower from the United States Postal Service says, hey, this plan that they're trying to put together after Trump's executive order about mail-in ballots is a total shit show.
Starting point is 00:06:33 I think those words were actually used. somewhere by someone. I don't know by the whistleblower specifically. This thing is wild. They are planning to have this whole, they're building a new portal, a brand new portal that has all of their like approved lists of eligible voters who they've decided can vote.
Starting point is 00:06:56 And they're going to go through all of these in batches. And according to reporting that I read today, that if even one of the ballots, doesn't match what's on their list. Say someone changed their name they got married or moved, then the whole batch gets thrown out. To be clear, this is about ballots that the government,
Starting point is 00:07:16 the states want to send to voters so that they can vote, and this doesn't impact votes getting sent to polling. The actual votes getting sent in, they're not going to be like, oh, this batch of votes that were mailed are all together, we're throwing them out.
Starting point is 00:07:30 But the ballots that people need in order to vote being sent out, they're going to throw them out. With no amount of time to fix it either. Like, you might not realize until it's far too late to get another one sent to you, for example, or know who to contact to fix that. This is absurd. Sorry, Jonathan, you had something. Well, I think it's worth trying to call out what we can do to get around certain things. So if you do receive your mail-in ballot in the mail, like, very good. Well done. You got it. drop that off at a polling place or in one of the drop boxes that the election officials will put
Starting point is 00:08:08 in your community because those are picked up by election officials. Okay, so that official drop box, yes, is not USPS. Putting it in a mailbox, it might work. The postal workers will probably take it and intend to deliver it, but they're doing shenanigans, right? There's going to be nonstop shenanigans, which is the concern here. I mean, of course. And mail and ballots are, I mean, ballots are about to be sent out.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Was it Wisconsin this Friday? Is it Wisconsin? Yeah, it's happening like imminently. But this is just obviously absurd. Illegal. You can't do major changes to an election right this close to an election, although I suppose that that is an arguable, something that could be debated in a court of law, whatever.
Starting point is 00:08:59 it's just fucking been yeah impossible and you can do whatever you want though you can do whatever you want though but of course this is what I've been thinking as we've been waiting for official rules rulings on the court cases that are
Starting point is 00:09:17 pending currently regarding mail-in voting was just the what's USPS doing right now how are they preparing for what this mayor may not be And then, of course, this news broke today. And unsurprising that it's full of bugs. Well, yeah, not only are they having to build a whole thing from scratch really quickly,
Starting point is 00:09:44 but it goes back and forth. Yeah, right. I'm sure they vibe-coded this entire thing. But, right, they also need to know if and how they're implementing it. And they still have to rely on human beings to be like, nope, this batch of ballots goes away. And it looks like this is not like, it seems like they've given up on being super targeted on trying to just make sure that people in blue states and like Democrats in swing states can't vote. They're just like throw as many out as we can and we'll see what we get. This is going to,
Starting point is 00:10:15 if implemented in the way it's proposed or the way the whistleblower says, it's going to throw out tons of people's votes. It might not specifically benefit one side of the other. There's this idea that mail-in voting is inherently liberal. Only the libs do it. These libs want to steal the election with their mail-in ballots. Trump did it. No, dude.
Starting point is 00:10:38 Everybody does it. People, it's, I don't even remember what it's like to go in. I remember the first few times I voted needing to look up my polling place and having a lot of stress about it and getting there and waiting in a long-ass line. It was very unpleasant.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Didn't want to do it. You love it. That's my jam. He loves it. Cody, all. always conti for as long as i've known cody i have sent my ballot in and be like cody i like walking the place thanking the thanking the poll workers just being like yeah i'm going to go check it out good vibes like cody 2020 civic duty kind of stuff you did mail in voting 2020 probably um
Starting point is 00:11:16 maybe um anyway my point is what was my point mail in voting blah blah oh everybody to affect everybody. And in fact, there's a large percentage, well, of both parties that are old boomers, but it's conservatives as well. And so this affects everybody. And it's not, it's chaos. It's not going to necessarily hand them some victory, but it is chaos. Well, that's the thing. It's like not even so many of their tactics and their goal. Their goal isn't for like Republicans to win elections or like for the votes their goal is the chaos so an emergency can be declared or chaos can ensue and they can do what they want to do like it's not like oh we do this and then we're going to win this district they just want a mess and it seems like
Starting point is 00:12:09 they're doing a decent job of yeah they're definitely messing the place up they're throwing shit around let's watch mark wayne mullen the uh what is the department of homeland security What? Are we watching Mark or Wayne? Who are you talking about? Both. I've never seen them together in the same place. It's those two guys on either side.
Starting point is 00:12:33 And the guys in the middle, but Mark and Wayne are on either side of him. I've never seen you with Mark Mullen, Mr. Wayne. He is so bad at speaking, publicly at least. Perhaps privately as well. None of them are quite good. Really bad at speaking publicly.
Starting point is 00:12:51 I was being very, very clear when I said, ICE isn't there to patrol the polling places. We're there to enforce specific threats. The only reason why we would be at polling places if there is a threat to that polling place or we're serving, yes, or we're serving a warrant on someone that we have been actively tracking down.
Starting point is 00:13:14 So that's, you know. Do you have warrants for a lot of these? That's reassuring. Trying to be, are you, do you feel, reassured. Because well, there's a lot of qualifiers there.
Starting point is 00:13:27 He's like the only reason we would do the thing that's blatantly illegal is Cody, I can't. I'm listening. What are you, what's the problem? For the people listening to this in the morning, Cody,
Starting point is 00:13:41 it looks like Warmbo. It looks like Warmbo is growing out of Cody's pants. Yeah. I'm just trying to include everybody, okay? Yeah. I think that we need to work on that show. He used to be back there, but in the three shot, nobody can see him. And I just want him to feel included.
Starting point is 00:13:56 I want other people at home to know that he's here. I'm having a hard time not scaring him in the eye. And I bet the people at home are also fixated on those eyes. Look, the people at home have already been talking about Wormbo. Okay, so I'm just giving them what they want. I didn't think it was going to be that distracting. I'm so sorry. He is happy.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Do we even remember what we're talking about? Something about Mark and Wayne and Mullen's. Warmbo's happier there. I can tell. Like he's very much more engaged with the show. I appreciate it. I always feel like he is not listening to me when I'm talking. I get that.
Starting point is 00:14:27 I get that. So, he's definitely not. Mark Wayne is like, well, listen, the only reason we'd be doing the thing that's blatantly illegal, federally, you're not allowed to send federal officers to a polling place is if we had a warrant for the polling place. So if that, if that place where people vote is under arrest, well, of course we'd have to show up an arrest. arrest the election machines. Arrest, and if we can't arrest the machines or the building, then we'll just have to, you know, shoot the building.
Starting point is 00:14:57 I'll tell you why I'm heartened about that. It's because he was trying to think of what the correct answer is for his boss. He knows his boss wants to send everyone to arrest the Democrats voting. And he's like, well, I can't have him hear me saying, no, that's not going to happen. So I have to be a little bit threatening without trying to make a big news story. So I'm going to say, listen, in theory, there could be a crime. There could be crime that we do the anti-crime there, so we could go do it there. So that's what I think it was.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Yeah, he's got two directions he's going. One's going Mark, one's going Wayne, and he's trying to sort of split the difference into a mullin. And it's not quite weird. Yeah. Yeah, he really bowled a mulligan. He got a mullin mullin a mullin. Is it bowling a mulling a mulligan? It's turkey.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Yeah, it's the classic phrase, bowling a mullin. Bowling a mullin? What is the real phrase? He's a mulligan. A mulligan is a different thing. I don't like turkey. That's for golf, right? It's for golf, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:55 It's golf. Well, he could golf a mullin. He might look good with a mullin. He could golf of America. He could do all kinds of stuff. Okay. Okay. Well, I'm glad to hear that you feel heartened or something from that.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Or something. I think it was a very threatened. I just feel vaguely threatened. I just. just see also this as as mostly threatening because I expect between now and then any number of their paid influencers or whomever to be spending the time talking about all the polling places rife with crime and the Democrats stealing elections and the homeless, the plots of the homeless, whatever immigrants, whatever it'll probably be immigrants.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Whoever. It's a combination. But I'm just looking forward to the next two months. months of that and seeing them try to use that as justification for indeed having ice at polling places. And maybe
Starting point is 00:16:56 I'll be wrong. I was wrong when I predicted whatever I predicted at the beginning of the year that it hasn't come true. Years not over. Years not over. I don't know. I just forget who it was. Was it Laura Lumer would have a love child? No. J.D. Vance would. Laura Lumer would go right. I mean, J.D. Vance did have another child. Technically he did. He did have another child. I know, but it wasn't quite what I
Starting point is 00:17:16 was predicting. Definitely not a love child. A career child. A career child. I mean, do you have a pro? Do you need a force? Does that help your career that much? And then maybe it wasn't Laura Loomer would get arrested, but it was somebody for
Starting point is 00:17:32 shoplifting. I think I was very specific. Oh, yeah. Oh, was Bobert. I think it was Boebert too. And that hasn't happened. Well, she's really been out of the news. Maybe it's happened.
Starting point is 00:17:43 I know. I shouldn't have chose her. Anyway. How were you been doing on? Moving on, David. How was I to know that the cycle would move on without her? She'll be back. December 25th.
Starting point is 00:17:55 No, I'm just doubling down. December 25th. That's when the news will break. Her arrest. Yeah, Dune 3, aka. Do you have your tickets yet, Cody? Not yet. I mean, I guess it's too late for IMAX 70 millimeter.
Starting point is 00:18:09 I'll just have to see it in a movie theater, which will be fine. Wait, is it too late? Is it all? I mean, I know the 70 millimeter ones went on sale and people. I just never do the pre-sale tickets because I'm, you know, but... I don't know when I'm going to be able to see a movie in December. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:18:23 I was like, I want to see it immediately, but I don't know. We'll get to see it. I'll go on my slot website and I'll check out Dune 3. I know. David Bell is asking any thoughts on the ending of Spider-Man? I did see that he asked me if I saw Spider-Man and if I had any thoughts about the ending.
Starting point is 00:18:43 I don't know. I feel like it is like not much to say. about it and everyone's sort of watched it efficiently and effectively and really gotten everything. Oh great. Any thoughts on the ending of Spider-Man? I've got so many thoughts. So apparently... The ending of Spider-Man 3.
Starting point is 00:18:58 The ending of Spider-Man brand-new day is for those just catching up in our recent movie episode. And neither should Dave, to be honest. Well, we'll do it later. Dave knows what he's doing. In our recent episode about movies, I decided to add a 8. minute. 15. I almost said 10, but I thought it would be too much.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Well, I, I, I, I looked at the time code when all of a sudden done. I was like, how long did this add to the episode when it was not originally here? Okay. So it's not, yeah, it wasn't originally in there, but I had to. It's 15 minutes on the ending of Spider-Man and how people misunderstood it. And I might have been a little too mean about it, but I think I was right. And I've seen some people still be like, no, you're wrong, because MJ said she didn't remember. And I'm losing my mind, folks. I don't know what you're talking about. It's so obvious what
Starting point is 00:19:51 happened. So at some point during this stream, I'm going to take your questions about the ending of Spider-Man brand new day. Well, Katie and Jonathan go about their evening, maybe like call some loved ones, just go outside, take a breath of fresh air. Who knows what they're going to do? They could be watching this. Lord knows they will have enough time to do anything. I also- I think my parents are watching. And we'll move on to a news topic after this, but I want everyone to know that I, a person who still has not seen this film, when going through the script, which was not like marked up and didn't have links or anything, had to kind of gauge it and click through the link we had that someone, there was a link of the movie somewhere directly to AMC,
Starting point is 00:20:34 a feed to AMC, I guess. Disney posted the link. Yeah, Disney put it up. I like had to click through and be like, this would probably be at this part of the movie and guess at what I thought the time code was for those things happening. and I did a good job. You did do a good job. Movies.
Starting point is 00:20:49 We love them. We love them. And more importantly, we understand them. We understand how movies work. Okay. Speaking of moving to a different country, Milo Unopolis is... Oh, buying. Speaking of paid influencers, too.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Yeah. He's back in the UK. He got deported. You know, we talked about... We talked about it yesterday. Yes. or wow, yesterday. It was yesterday.
Starting point is 00:21:17 We somberly left at the thing that happened. I mean, we, yeah. It wasn't somber. It took enjoyment out of the fact that he has left the country, but existentially it isn't cool that one woman gets to influence. I think they later said, I think they later suggested, or someone from Homeland Security was like, it wasn't her. Like, we were going to do this.
Starting point is 00:21:44 anyway. And she can, and maybe, maybe that's bullshit. Okay. I like, I, I know, I know, like, it's just two, like, like, demons, like, poking at each other. I believe Laura Lumer more than I believe DHS on this issue. Why would they do that? Why would they care about Milo? What are you talking about? Yeah. She has a vendetta against this specific guy and a direct line to the president. Of course, it's, but maybe not. When it's like you have a statement, from Laura Lumer and a statement from the Department of Homeland Security and like one of them has to be telling the truth. It's like the, it's like one of those riddles where you're like
Starting point is 00:22:22 one of you always lies and the other one always lies. The other one has to be, one of them has to be telling the truth now, but you always lie. The whole thing's a trick question. They're both lying, but. So you ask DHS, do you always not lie right now? And whatever they say, that's what would Laura Lumer say if I asked her if you said, oh, just a slur? Well, now I don't know what to think. All right. So we're going to start playing it. Because he's back in the UK now. He went on Pierce Morgan, the first show you go on when you're in the UK.
Starting point is 00:22:51 I'd get high tea if it were me, but he goes on Pierce Morgan. Immediately goes on Pierce Morgan. Oh, yeah. I mean, there's not even a time to catch a breath or unpack your bag. You're on Pierce Morgan. He's also notably, he is playing it up. Oh, yeah. What a ham.
Starting point is 00:23:12 What a performance he's doing. This is just a gift to him in lots of ways. Oh, yeah, he loves it. You get to monetize it. You get to be relevant. You get to play your little violin. All right, let's watch it, though. And this is three minutes, so feel free to stop and jump in.
Starting point is 00:23:30 I haven't even watched the whole thing, so fun. Yeah, he's difficult to listen to. He's unpleasant. Yeah, and then I thought, and I'll save it. We'll do it live. The criticism against you is a charge of hypocrisy. Because people say, well, look, you spent a lot of time supporting publicly ICE being very aggressive with deportations. On January 2nd, 2025, you posted punishing Somalis indiscriminately as a group and deported them all as the only way this administration will persuade the voters.
Starting point is 00:24:00 It is serious enough of a job. And then again, in May 25, there's one concrete thing we must insist on this administration delivering. It matters a lot more than debts measured in imaginary money. We'll deport millions of employees. millions of people without that nothing else matters in September 2025, total legal immunity of ICEAIDS from there on duty. And 21st of September 2025, justice system should be just ICE. So there you are aggressively promoting ICE being very aggressive and demanding that millions of people be deported. People say, Milo, you've been hoisted by your own partard.
Starting point is 00:24:33 And I don't have a word to say. You got me. I'm very... Then why are you there? Why are you laughing? I mean, they're doing what you told them to do. Deport millions of people. Not really. It just happened to include you. They're not doing it lawfully. And I think... Pause.
Starting point is 00:24:48 You did say about Samar. Yep. Pause and stop. So what a lying fraud. His whole career has been just being a paid liar. He's so obviously full of shit. Every single time he opens his mouth. What a like, oh, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:00 He's such a performance little whatever. They're not doing it lawfully. Yeah. But I just got to, I'm just going to read this tweet real quick from... Give me the date. I believe. Huh? Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Sorry, finish your sentence. Oh, the date of the tweet? Yes. Oh, September 26th. Oh, okay. 2025. Yeah, okay. Or, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Yes, that's the correct way that they do their order of the person and over there. I'm going to read this quote directly from this tweet from Milo, who just spoke. We just saw him speak about how, yeah, but they're not doing it legally. Yeah. total legal immunity for ICE agents when they're on duty. Why would they need that? If they're doing things legally? If they're doing it lawfully and legally,
Starting point is 00:25:54 and you want them to do it lawfully and legally, why would they need legal immunity for their abhorrent behavior, Milo, that you know that they've been doing this entire time and you're just pretending right now to feel bad about it because it came back around you. It's so frustrating. The reason I asked for the date preemptively, was just to make the same point of like you knew what was happening.
Starting point is 00:26:15 You knew what was happening all along. This isn't a surprise now that you're the one that got got. It's not a surprise that what's happening is abhorrent or that they're doing things unlawfully. You're just so foolish it. He does. Oh, we can keep going. But I just like, you're just like, and, you know, peers might not have had all the tweets, but that's the opportunity to go, okay, but wait,
Starting point is 00:26:43 you don't want them to actually follow the law because you don't want there to be laws that govern their behavior at all. You said it. Pierce isn't that kind of journalist. Anyway. Well, he said the charge here is hypocrisy and thusly, and then he reads that.
Starting point is 00:27:00 All right. They should be deported indiscriminately as a group. Deporting them all. Obviously, exaggerating there. I think another tweet. I said something like, you know,
Starting point is 00:27:10 We shouldn't let the 97% of Somalis, you know, create a bad reputation for the, you know, for the law-abiding 3%. I tell all kinds of... The point of lies. Exaggerated jokes. We almost said it. I tell us of lies that I don't believe. They're supposed to be deporting criminals. I understand.
Starting point is 00:27:26 They're supposed to be prioritizing people who come in illegally. I know. Who sell people. But they haven't been. Who raped. Who sell... I get it. I'm not doing that.
Starting point is 00:27:36 I get it. The problem you have, I think, in these tweets and public... with me specifically right now, Somali criminals, for example, or just criminals. You wanted Somalis as a group, all deported. You said that. No, I was, look, when the... Can't deny saying it.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Of course not. I'm not... So the argument against you goes, well, Milo, you know, you didn't care about Somalis being legally or illegally there. I wanted them all... I'm generalizing about groups that have rampant criminality. I don't think British... Pause it.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Pause it. This fucking Nazi prick. This fascist propagandaist motherfucker. God, what a lie. Generalizing about a whole group. Okay. I'm just generalizing about crime coming from one group of people. And I'm surprised when they're brutalized.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Also, well, no, I'm surprised when I'm brutalized. God. Gloss over the fact that like he's saying the 70% that's bad or something. Right. He made the good percentage small. there are a few good Somalis. Some, I'm sure, are good people. I mean, yeah, what he really means is you weren't supposed to deport white people.
Starting point is 00:28:51 That's what he means, right? Yeah. I mean, he's like, yeah, what aren't we getting here? I meant this specific thing. And now you're asking me if it's hypocritical because of this other thing that it doesn't apply to me at all. I'm just, I'm a charming Englishman. You know what this? could use a lot more of is
Starting point is 00:29:11 Milo thumbing through a Bible looking for a verse to read about. Like if Milo had good comedic instincts, he knows this is going to go poorly for him. Bring a Bible. First question be like, let me hold on a second, I just have to check something this passage.
Starting point is 00:29:27 I've been leaving it. I've been stuck with me when I was being arrested. Things don't work out for you here at Summer News, which they are and will continue. Please don't ever leave us. But you could have a career being like a PR handler type for these figures. You really could.
Starting point is 00:29:46 I would be the PR handler. I'd be like, listen, you're screwed. You look like shit no matter what. So you might as well become, get like a laugh out of this. Do the meme. Bring the Bible. That's your only way through it. And then, you know, everyone will be like,
Starting point is 00:30:00 well, this guy, this Nazi piece of shit, he got me. That was funny. That's a funny bit. I wonder who else thought of it for him. we got we do have a little bit left yeah just it is remarkable
Starting point is 00:30:12 it kind of breathes by because he's just a he's just a talker he's just a talking guy he did almost say yeah I say all kinds of lies he almost said he almost just he said he even stopped himself he got mean spirited out
Starting point is 00:30:27 he says I say all kinds of mean spirited things that are exaggerated so you're fine with mean spirited mean spirited exaggeration is what he's calling malicious lies It's very incredible. Way to make the case for having sympathy for yourself. Like, yeah, I mean-spirited liar.
Starting point is 00:30:49 I'm an awful piece of shit. So fucking, why don't you, like, deport me? Wait a second. Let's finish this. We're spending a lot of time on Milo, but it is fun. It is fun. It's a relief. Yes, it is true that, you know, the majority of Somalis in Minnesota
Starting point is 00:31:06 or in some way connected with the fraud there. Yes, it is true. Majority of... Demographic kind of tendencies or, you know, in the statistics about violent crime, sexual crime and stuff in America. If ICE were doing its job and clearing America out of the people
Starting point is 00:31:26 who rape, kill, murder, and sell drugs and a couple of extra people got caught up in the dragnet, and if I was one of them, nobody would have very much to say, but they're not doing that. we got. That's not it. There's a moment from another clip where he's like, why would I lie? And then he just
Starting point is 00:31:42 goes on and on and on. He also does talk. I did think that this might have the part where he's talking about how awful it was. And I don't give him any sympathy, but I want to highlight that. But yeah, it is fucking awful. The way we treat immigrants,
Starting point is 00:31:59 the people that we are forcibly removing from this country that have no reason to be manhandled or treated the way that we have treated them. People that have lived here for a very long time. We're spending a lot of time laughing about Milo and that is fun but he also
Starting point is 00:32:13 speaks in this interview about the horrors of it and asking for sympathy and I don't want to give him sympathy. I hate that it's happening to the people that he wants it to happen to. Yeah and he's just
Starting point is 00:32:30 he's just lying and like there's no like oh from now on he's going to like maybe consider this. I'll just read the, I'll read the full quote. We don't need to continue to listen to him to talk probably. But what you're referring to, Katie, quote, I didn't really understand the physical reality of how institutionalized the brutality is in America. The manner in which they arrest you. They put you
Starting point is 00:32:52 in manacles. Everybody is arrested like an MS-13 gang member. It was physically degrading. It was frightening. I don't think I've ever been frightened like that before. I was weeping like an old woman for an hour. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. You actually do wish it on people. You wish it on everyone but yourself. Literally. Because you know the idea. I didn't really understand the physical reality. No, you do, but you were paid to deny it. You're a fascist propagandist paid by Steve Bannon since like 2015 or something. You're so full of shit. Fuck off. Here's your attention that you get for a moment.
Starting point is 00:33:25 But also, Cody, what you read there is like he was so afraid for an hour. And I started this by riffing on how like, oh, he's already home. He's on Pierce Morgan. How lucky. How lucky for you, you piece of shit that you are now home. And genuinely, I hate that our country treats people this way. And genuinely, don't love that you were manhandled and afraid, but you were afraid for an hour. There are people who have been rotting in there for months that we have no idea where they are.
Starting point is 00:34:02 You can't be tracked. they haven't been able to have cancer or pregnant not being given access to their medications to basic health care food fuck you go enjoy peers Morgan yeah you it's I know it's 2026 but I am I'm starting to realize maybe the police force in America is kind of like violent like it's like it's like kind of institutionalized violence it's like and it's the first I've heard of it and I think I think gonna like have a deep think about it with my eyes closed because he's also playing up some thing about his eye i don't know if it's necessary like i i i truly wish people could feel what it feels like to be grabbed and thrown to the ground without having to experience that violence
Starting point is 00:34:55 trauma all that stuff to have your agency completely taken away from you like that he realized it in that moment he said it on the thing. He's like, yeah, you got me. I said all that stuff and this was awful. Like, just picture that. Even if you think, oh, someone came here and they had legal status or documentation at one point, now they don't, you are still voting for that thing
Starting point is 00:35:20 to happen to them, the violent thing to happen to them. Yeah, you want it to. And just experience that every single person who is on your, side who ends up going through something like that is always like, oh, that was awful. And no one, that's dehumanizing and no one should have to go through that. Yeah, it's alarming. Because as you're talking about this, I'm in my mind, I'm thinking like, yeah, but I can
Starting point is 00:35:48 imagine what it's like. Right. And it seems bad. I think if I were to imagine that happening to me or somebody else, if I were to imagine that happening to a person, I would probably think like that sounds really bad. it's just like so they constantly admit like yeah i've never thought of another person i've never considered that there are other people who have experiences and feelings and like bodies of their own uh and it always always always takes the literal like personal experience to be like oh i met a gay
Starting point is 00:36:20 person they were nice oh i got brutalized and it turns out it's bad it's absurd obviously also he's lying he knew the whole time and he's not like coming he's not like having a come Again, he's just shocked it happened to him because he's white and British. What's wrong with us? Why can't we be here legally or otherwise? They might have found him, though, at one of those moments where he wasn't heavy on the accent, though. And then they're just like, oh, this is an American piece of shit who doesn't belong here. Let's get him out of here.
Starting point is 00:36:46 If he's British, they'd be like, oh, I'm sorry, sir. Sorry, sir. They start speaking, you know. I do have the problem where if someone is speaking in any accent, my instinct is to start, I have to, like, hold myself back from, like, yeah, I'm one of those. If I hear Milo talk, I'm like, how do I do that? Because he's been living here for a long time, it goes in and out. That's like really tough.
Starting point is 00:37:06 And my brain is just like, do it, do it, do it. I can do it. I can do it. When I hear Wormbo on the bits, I'm like, should I talk like Wormbo when we get back? I don't think I could do that. My voice would hurt a lot. I should probably talk like Warmbud. It is really hard of the voice.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Yeah, we do all this lines last. It's a lot. It's a lot. Oh, yeah, there's a specific. I had something I was going to say. Oh, sorry. Shout out to hoodie sleeves, dad, Stephen. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 00:37:35 Ringo, yo, thank you. Mega shout out. Great, thank you. Professor Harmless 7512. I thanked in the chat, but now vocal. Thank you. Appreciate you guys so, so much. Yeah, thank you.
Starting point is 00:37:48 And per some of these comments, we should move on from this dumb piece of shit, lie. Are they saying we should move on? No, not just sort of acknowledging, like, this is his currency. We are like, And we're using it to talk about other stuff that I think is, you know, relevant and important.
Starting point is 00:38:04 But it is giving him the attention he so desperately craves. I would like to kick off our data center chat by talking about this. Well, we can get into it by talking about what Donald Trump had to say about it. Because he's like secretary of human endeavors or something like that. He's got a fan's a title. But anyway, he's the hair guy. He's the hair guy. He's the hair guy.
Starting point is 00:38:35 He's really funny. All right. What's he saying now? And the farts. He stands. Those two normal standing sons. Yeah, he's got some normal standers all in his family. They're all normal stand.
Starting point is 00:38:46 The whole party really knows how to stand. Well, that's when they changed their name from when they came over generations ago. It was Donald normal stander. Oh, yeah. Oh, was it really now? Dig into that. No, data centers have become a flasher. point on the right and a political liability for the right. And regardless of, you know,
Starting point is 00:39:05 whether you think data centers are the worst thing ever or like, oh, we got them all ready for all the internet stuff we do and this, whatever, there's all that. But on the right specifically, it turns out people don't like having all these data centers built near them. But in all their wisdom, Trump, the president, is in deep with all the AI companies and he wants to be like the king of AI. And so all of these states were going to. Well, a lot of his. Personal investments are probably very well tied to this success as well. Sure. They got to handle the compute for his crypto schemes.
Starting point is 00:39:38 Wait a second. They're the ones paying for him. Okay. So people are very, very mad. And I, you know, Ron DeSantis. There's a moratorium in Florida now at Greg Abbott in Texas is taking a stand. So now they are getting into action with this populist like, oh, we got to, I've always hated the centers. I don't like the GPUs at all now.
Starting point is 00:40:01 I did before. No, I don't like... I listened to that Ed Zetron character. He makes some good points, and now I'm out. We've got too much compute. Yeah. Too much compute these days. But anyway, then the president weighed in, which is going to figure into this.
Starting point is 00:40:15 And here's what he says. The only reason that communities throughout the USA should not want data centers is if they want to end up being backwards and poor. If they want to be... I do, though. You do? I want to... I do. He's speaking to me.
Starting point is 00:40:29 I personally would love. I could be sideways. But poor. But poor is important. And that is why I am announcing my support of Donald Trump because I am much poorer than I used to be. Don't clip that. I hate him. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:40:46 You're so afraid of people being like clip the ball. Oh, she's turned. That is something. That is something I might have said and then been like, cut it, Nick. Cut that. We're live. Can't do that. He continues, if they want to be successful and rich with far lower taxes and jobs all over the place, let data rain.
Starting point is 00:41:05 The good news is that there are plenty of other places that want them. If we kill the golden goose, you will only have yourselves to blame. China could not be happier with this anti-data center movement. Actually, they can't believe it is happening. President, he's the President. Sorry, he's the President of the United States. Why don't you say that? I thought he was Secretary of Human Endeavors.
Starting point is 00:41:26 Some guy with normal standards. sons and you tell me he's the president of what? These United States of America. That's this country though. That's right. Wait.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Oh, to not know this. It is true. So that might be tough. His eyes look more scared or something now. So point is Republicans are in a bit of a dilly pickle doodad. Dilly pickle dood.
Starting point is 00:41:56 It's fascinating. to watch him do his best to lose the midterms. My wrong. I mean, he doesn't seem to get... I mean, I think he just wants data centers. You want to realize that it's like a loser of an issue, according to polling at least. Even like, you know, there's some concerns that are, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:17 overblown in some ways. We go through the water claims in our episode about data centers. We go through all kinds of stuff to sort of dig into the nuance of these. but even like oh well you know they have to be like self-sustaining they have their own power their own power supply so you want to build a data center and a power plant near people is what you're saying is the solution to it right a lot of a lot of the thread I think people for the most part look I am aware that AI is a part of our reality I am aware that China I mean of China I'm aware of China certainly we're aware of it. But what we would like to do is not just immediately hand over the bag to the tech companies and just say goodbye, life. We would like to acknowledge the communities that are already suffering from data center pollution and the strain it puts on their infrastructure. And the noise. When I see somebody, I saw a clip of Scott Galloway talking about how data centers are great. And we already
Starting point is 00:43:22 have some data centers. I'm like, yeah, I get it. We have data centers. We're talking about exponentially more shoved in to neighborhoods, predominantly low-income neighborhoods. Often different times, yeah. Lots of people of color. There's so many things that we haven't studied or unpacked or understand about the effects on communities. And that's what we're talking about at this juncture is understanding before throwing them in. And where are the best places? What are the long-term effects?
Starting point is 00:43:54 there's a lot to be understood and how the fuck are we going to survive AI if it is if it is what they say it is and blah blah blah but like then okay let's have that conversation but yeah we're not really doing that and there's so many you know ways where you have you know people I've seen so many people be like well we already have data centers well these are different these are different than more they don't necessarily create even a lot of jobs there are places that have them that uh we're can provide a lot of like tax relief and like funding for certain places. Sure. But like again, it's like it's not, these aren't data centers so you can like log on to Twitter. It's specifically for this generative AI. There's even a quote from,
Starting point is 00:44:41 I'm going to move you, warm, but I'm so sorry. Who is it from? Oh no, don't do that for Mr. It's just Carmen. Yeah, yeah, you go. Yeah. Hey, Cody.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Hey, Mr. Cody. Mr. Cody. I read the show now. I can't sit down. All right. All right. Not enough of that. We'll do that for the next.
Starting point is 00:44:59 45. 45? 45 of that. There's this quote from, I think it might be Abbott's little memo or whatever. Or some senator, whatever. I'm just going to read the quote because it says, Ohio is one of the leaders in building these AI factories.
Starting point is 00:45:16 Don't call it that. Don't call them AI factories. That's even more off-putting than data center. That's just like bad politics. even if you're like, I'm pro data center, we're going to do the AI. Don't call them AI factories. We hate that shit.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Everybody hates it. And it's just, it's like you're not conversing with the issue if you are just talking past that kind of stuff. Do they say what the jobs are? I know they have to have a few people going and maintain it. What do you hose down the thing? Like, what are the,
Starting point is 00:45:50 what are the jobs that are going to bring to Michigan? building it, you know. There are a lot of jobs for the initial contractor. Contractors building it. And I'm sure that there's an amount of jobs for running it, maintaining it. But this isn't the same as when we talk about the automotive industry or we're bringing this industry to this town. We're not talking about the same level of jobs to support a community or something.
Starting point is 00:46:17 It just isn't. And it's for a technology that is. replacing people, you know? And again, I know that it's here. I know that we have it. I know that. I know that. I know that. Yeah, we have it. It's here, whatever. You don't have to use it. You can read things on your own and that's fine. They kind of force you to use it sometime and then you're like, I didn't know that was that. And it. Right. I could have done about that. Like, you know, different types of AI for different things. Some things have been like AI for many, many years we've used. And that's like, you know, it's different, different categories. But I've just also seen like, you know, well, these moratoriums on data centers, these like push against data centers. Some of it is just sort of like I don't want stuff built near me. And I understand.
Starting point is 00:47:04 We need to build stuff. But also fair, you know, you don't want. Totally ruined this hum like down the street or whatever. Your community is more than a hum. But like, and then it's like, okay, but what you really should be fighting for is like legislation about regulating AI. And like, we like getting together and like writing something to like discuss like, well, what are we doing? on the way how do we regulate how like what kind of stuff like should we even allow there's so many AI political ads now AI like people is making movies movies like heaviest quotes in the world
Starting point is 00:47:33 with like famous actors like no I mean like just like AI versions of people who didn't agree to be in the movie and it's like those are like real people it's just like this disgusting industry that's like booming and is the face of it and all these like CEOs are like oh maybe we need to like rethink how we talk about it. Yeah, you went out and you said, we're going to create and enslave God and you don't get a job. Well, it's true. What you're saying, Cody, everything I am doing, yes, and the problem here, you can't just say, this is going to be good for your community, I promise, and like, you're going to be a loser and poor if you don't do it. No, we need to actually address the root cause of what people are afraid of. Outside of the fact that this data center is pollution and a drain on your own, you know, little community.
Starting point is 00:48:25 But they represent this cliff that we're all told we're about to fall off of. And we don't know, I mean, just at a basic level, generative AI exists and is knowledgeable because of us, because of the stuff that we post and we write and the stuff that we create. How are we compensated for this? How is this company going to benefit my community in the long term? Are you just going to have astronomical profits and then we die in holes because we're poor because we didn't want the AI data center nearby? I don't know. I'm just saying like, what are the answers?
Starting point is 00:49:01 I may die poor in a hole regardless. Like that. We will. We all. It's like, here's your hole. We're going to die one way. And we might be put in a hole. We might be put in other places.
Starting point is 00:49:11 But. And then you're like, that's not a hole. Don't clip that either. That's a great point. That isn't a hole. You're right. I haven't looked into this. I'm just saying.
Starting point is 00:49:19 Let's get together. To actually, we want to talk about data centers. Let's talk about all these other issues. Well, right. Let's answer these questions. Let's address the community concerns. And then maybe we can all figure out where to put the fucking beasts that has the least impact. Don't do the data center moratorium.
Starting point is 00:49:39 Or like, don't focus on data centers. Focus on the legislation of AI. Okay, go for it. Like, that's not happening either. So like, I don't know, is like, this 70, 80-year-old Congress is going to get together and have some really solid, like,
Starting point is 00:49:55 AI legislation together? Maybe, I don't know. I am interested in politically how they play it because it's not just AI, which in general, younger people especially just seem to be wary of and not like, even people who use it to cheat on their homework. They don't like it still.
Starting point is 00:50:14 They know it's bad. They know it's bad. And then there, so, you know, the GOP now has to be really, KG about data centers and flock cameras are becoming a flashpoint now too and traditionally you would think
Starting point is 00:50:28 if you didn't like mass surveillance and using this technology to help police track you that's a thing that the left should be able to jump on and be like ha ha see you like us on things but now the GOP's like actually we hate these flock cameras now we're going to get rid of them cops checking your driver's license
Starting point is 00:50:46 and being able to track their ex-wives all over town and that's all it's used for. We hate that. We hate that. That's like 90% of what the technology is. Like the people at the company flock are like, it's just cops tracking their ex-wives. That's it.
Starting point is 00:51:00 That's all it is. Anyway, I'm interested to see what they do about it. And if Democrats can counterpunch the... I don't trust them with it. Just like just for the next two months, even. Just for two months. Did you see the... Just say whatever.
Starting point is 00:51:17 But Hakeem Jeffrey says, said the priorities would be if we took the house. What? No. I got it here. But I can't wait to hear what it is. Your tone of your voice makes me think it's great. I got a, here we go.
Starting point is 00:51:31 It's in a thread. I got a thread going on with people. You know what? I'm sorry. Cody, yell at them about Spider-Man while I look for this. Okay. What do you mean MJ said that she didn't have her memories in the movie? That's not relevant at all to the point.
Starting point is 00:51:48 of the, like, I just don't understand why people and how people could see the movie laid out and all these sort of bits of information in facts laid out so clearly and explained and then be like, no.
Starting point is 00:52:04 I wish you'd be in the movie. It's pretty good. You might like it, I don't know. I will. I'll enjoy it. You're not like a big Spider-Man or MCU purse or whatever, but it is a... Don't pinhole me, Cody. People.
Starting point is 00:52:17 That's true. You got really into Mandalorian. People can change. You got really into Manilorea Grogu. Not the movie, but the characters. Is my shot crooked? You haven't seen the movie, I see. We just went into a shoe shot, and I feel like it's crooked.
Starting point is 00:52:29 I can't find it, but I'll say it by memory. Obviously, I bookmarked it, and it's in like three threads, and now I can't find it. But what it was. Three threads on threats? Three threads on threats. Are you guys on threats yet? Oh, no, I haven't heard of this one. A new thing I got to be on.
Starting point is 00:52:45 It sounds fun, though. What's the vibe there? It's a terrifying website. Well, no, it's just like it matches poor people with rich people, and the rich people threaten the poor people, and then the poor people shudder. And then there's video of you shuddering for them. Real life. So threats.com. We need a website for everything. What he said, though, they're like, what's the priority if you retake the house? And he's like, well, we're going to get rid of the tax cuts. We're going to help with taxes. And then it was like none of the stuff. None of the stuff. None of the, like, were bad. We're investigating everyone. We're prosecuting the criminals. We're prosecuting the criminals.
Starting point is 00:53:23 No, it was the most Hakeem Jeffrey's statement you can find. I'm going to look in the chat. Someone's got to know this thing unless I hallucinate. Unless I'm clawed and I made it up. Well, because it's like one of those things. Here it is, Nixon. He's got the easiest job in the world right now. People are fired up for a bunch of stuff to happen and hate Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:53:48 and all of his terrible mistakes. All right. So it's not like we don't want this stuff, right? Reverse Trump's Medicaid cuts, extend, expired ACA tax credits, the thing you could restore Congress's authority on tariffs, decisively end the Iran war. Of course that. And then they're going to do working groups on affordability
Starting point is 00:54:05 where I guess they'll chat with Jared Kushner about it. But like, I don't think he's really tapping into the anger and fear that most Democrats are dealing with because this is not something that, like, read the tax, the ACA tax credits, get those back, right? Great. Yeah, that's like, the president is not signing legislation that you put to.
Starting point is 00:54:28 And there aren't, I'm sorry, and like there are some, there are some, but there aren't like activated voters who are like, are they going to, are they going to extend the ACA tax credits? No, there's so many other things that can like activate people and get people out. This is so, again, like, it's good. Good lists of boring shit. Good list of boring shit. You can just assume it's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:54:53 Say the other stuff. There's a few things. Yeah. No, it's the most milk toast thing I could imagine. Literally not a word about ICE or immigration, anything like that. And decisively end the Iran war. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:55:09 Like, what is that going to look like? That's good in theory. But like, I just with this man, like, this is what I mean. This is what I mean. It just feels like just words. It's words. It's words. Everyone, we've got something different this time.
Starting point is 00:55:26 Previous live streams we have read the ads out loud. But this time we have them free recorded. And what I'm going to ask of you, dear audience, is to stay with us. Yeah, don't leave. Please stay with us. We have this. We're going to take three minutes to play this. And we're going to pee.
Starting point is 00:55:47 That way I don't have to make a big to do of like, oh, Katie has to pee. And then I, I mean, I've just announced it. You just did. In the future, in the future you can understand why it's helpful. Yes. We'll take requests, clips, topics, songs, warmbos, all kinds of things. Just stick around for us, please. And maybe we'll do some sort of fun quit.
Starting point is 00:56:09 There's going to be a quiz on the ads. Ooh. Katie, make sure to meet your. To sound off in the, you know, chat. If you're not back, I'm going to. I'm going to bite my pinky off. Yeah, you know what? I'm looking at the number right now.
Starting point is 00:56:25 And we're dancing dangerously close to 3,000. And if that number. And Katie's going to bite my pinky off. If you made John Biden's finger off. Then we'll have to say most of Jonathan is also here. Right. And that would suck. And it'll be all your fault.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Like a little bit isn't anymore. I also understand. Don't leave now while we're doing. this pre-adding. Don't need this now. Come back. It's going to be like three minutes. So then come.

We're talking foliage, but that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy big summer blockbusters for free on Pluto TV. We're talking Top Gun Maverick. We're talking Transformers, Rise of the Beast. We're even chatting it up about dungeons and dragons, honor among thieves. We're certainly chewing the fat, prattling, gossiping, conversing, and having a jolly old chinwag.
Starting point is 01:00:45 about movies like Mr. Phipps eat some chips. Hello, Gavna, Chuckin the Privy Love? Are you taking the Mickey? Bob is your uncle. He's a cheeky sort he is. A queenie for a quid. Never been snogged. There's no pub at uni.

Starting point is 01:01:30 Those were some ads. That was a few ads, but most people stuck around or a lot of people left and were replaced by other people hopping on. Oh, no, John, no. You didn't get that one. I've seen a lot of people saying I got an answer. in during Cody's ad or hell yeah yeah you know what you know what it's annoying but also at least
Starting point is 01:01:56 it happened then right yeah what a what a fun little a fun little mess YouTube can be let's make it even weirder and worse fine I read the news I'm not going to do it oh no that already it's it already demonetize into that it was it like like a second we'll see they have a special day in the life tracker. I read the new they just programmed it for us specifically.
Starting point is 01:02:25 I went and fanned myself for several minutes. Oh, was that nice? I refreshed as well. I did too. Whoops, it's just too fun. It went down too quick. Thank you, Rob, for enjoying the last ad
Starting point is 01:02:42 and for being here for the last ad. Yeah, let's do some thank you. Real quick. Thank you the dude 2822. Thank you so much. Oh, thank you so much. Thank you sheer douchebaggery. I recognize that name from the other time.
Starting point is 01:02:57 Mellon Clark 7798 anime sidekick gal. Thank you all. I just got a FaceTime from my sister-in-law just now, and I'm just saying I'm sorry I denied your phone call. I'm on a live stream. Why didn't you answer? Yeah, answer at all. I think it would be weird.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Yeah, well, that's not up for debate. Do they know what your job is? I just, no. I mean, I don't, I'm not going to get into my family dynamics, but this is term loss specifically. Definitely doesn't understand what a live stream or that I do them anyway. I just asked because I think there are several people in my life who could call and I'd be like, yeah, I'm on a live stream now. They'd be like, you for what? For the news.
Starting point is 01:03:44 For the news. And they'd be like, what about it? hang up. Yeah, one quick update. Hoodie sleeves, thank you so much. Again, thank you also to your sister's cats, Honeybee and Willow.
Starting point is 01:03:58 Oh, hi, honeybee, I Willow. What news shall we discuss? Yeah, let's jump back in here. Is it anything about like a lucky man I made the grade? I do think we got a touch on the foreign stuff that's not going well.
Starting point is 01:04:16 No. And then we can be fun. Yeah, there's some breaking new earlier today and also some culminating, some accumulating stuff that we should talk about. We've been wanting to talk about on the podcast and we don't get to everything because we don't know why. So we're going to try, I mean, Iran and Venezuela are the things. So we're bombing Iran again.
Starting point is 01:04:39 You all know this. We're escalating. Or maybe they don't. It's hard to keep track. It's genuinely hard to keep track. We apparently slaughtered several people and injured dozens more at a wedding because that's the thing America does no matter who's the president. So that's, you know, be angry about that.
Starting point is 01:05:01 We'll be angry about that for a long time to come. And then, of course, Trump again did another one of his threats.com to the entire country and people of Iran. I mean, this is a broken website, truth social. that's why it looks like this. Oh, yeah, it doesn't look great. I should just read it from his page itself so we can see the crud. Yeah, let's see the crud.
Starting point is 01:05:22 You got a so much crud. But anyway, he writes, there's so much crud. You know what, that's a mistake. We haven't even talked about his AI. It's a different world. It's a different world. Every time I go there, I forget just like it's a completely.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Well, you shouldn't go there, but. Anyway, I'm not going to read the whole thing, but he were bombing targets near the Strait of Hormose. They're putting minds there. apparently they're we're knocking down their missiles that they're shooting at our military bases and then he says if the failed nation of Iran
Starting point is 01:05:53 retaliates for this very justified attack they will be hit again at a much harder and higher level but it will not be the biggest attack of them all that is waiting in the wings and when it is over there will be very little left of the Islamic Republic of Iran President Donald J. Trump again he's the president
Starting point is 01:06:09 and just always forget that it's very like cliche to point this out but any other world any other president you kind of lead with that story and we're more than an hour into the live stream and we're like well I guess we should read
Starting point is 01:06:24 the thing from the president threatening to blow up the world. It was right before we start it was like we should But he does it all the time he does it all the time that's the problem I was saying we haven't touched this debacle for a while on even more news and there's a reason because
Starting point is 01:06:42 what is there's their to talk about more of the same bullshit, more of the same threats, the same stalemate, the same bullshit. Okay. Meanwhile, we killed four at an Iranian wedding,
Starting point is 01:06:58 including a child with airstrikes today, I guess. So just add another war crime to the list of war crimes that were accumulating under Pete Hagseth. Who was maybe thinking of running for president? Okay. We can ignore that.
Starting point is 01:07:17 You can legitimately ignore that, I think. I hope. I hope this isn't a clip everyone remembers years from now. Like, oh, you said we, no, you can ignore that. You can ignore that, be, like, except for, like, maybe he will. He'll be annoying. Yeah. And, like, go ahead.
Starting point is 01:07:35 Be, like, sweating evil down his greasy fucking face. But that's. But of all the people that take the hit for the decisions of this, disastrous war. He will be stuck with that. He's the guy. He's set up for... He is the guy. And we've got reporting on screen right now, military leaders warn Hegset against extending Iran war operations. This is a pretty big deal.
Starting point is 01:07:57 You know, that the assessment of these military leaders is that we need to stop doing this. You know, uh... Shouldn't have started. I mean, there were warnings that they shouldn't have started. This is a right. They gave him from the Army, Navy, Navy, Air Force. force and four-star commanders overseeing U.S. operations throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. So they're like, what's going to get his attention? Let's all get together. Those of us, he hasn't
Starting point is 01:08:22 fired yet and who are white men, presumably, so that he'll listen to us, put this stuff together and give it to him. And they're like, hey, we can't keep doing this. This is a disaster. More feckless, ineffective bullshit from all these other people. What you got to do is pay Sean Hannity. to warn about this on TV because that's who the president listens to. That's who these people care about. I mean, honestly, or Laura Lumer. I'm only half joking. I know you are.
Starting point is 01:08:56 Of course, like all these serious people aren't going to have an effect on the reality TV shows, reality TV, Fox News hosts, freak. Unfortunately, the newly named Department of War, that's not going to work. You got to get Sean Hannity on the case. You don't even have the dangling carrot of trying to reelect him for him to try to listen to public opinion or understand the reality for he doesn't give a shit. But moreover, the warnings are pretty dire. It's not just against extending military operations. It's saying we are not doing great in general, meaning we are at a reduced capacity ability to,
Starting point is 01:09:43 defend the homeland, to defend ourselves in other parts of the world. If something happens, we won't be able to engage with it. I mean, look, I don't particularly want us. Yeah, like, I fuck off on the United States military. We can't deploy the military on the U.S. homeland. I'll be like, okay, I think I can live with that, but they're like, you want to do that. You want to deploy the U.S. military on the homeland, and you won't be able to do that. I know. Oh, I got to worry about that. But it's not a position that you want all your military leaders to be like, hey, guys, we're not doing so hot.
Starting point is 01:10:17 We don't have resources. Like, we can't continue this. What are we going to do without oil? Don't worry, folks. We've got a plan. We're going to take it. What did he call it in 2024? I'm reading this.
Starting point is 01:10:33 Venezuela oil is like tar. It's the dirtiest, worst oil anywhere in the world. That's President Donald J. Trump. I'm, like, honestly, surprised. that he didn't say that actually Somalis and Haitians have the dirtiest oil because of their, like, what, you know, his gutter racism that he fucking always participates in.
Starting point is 01:10:52 Yeah, he's a filth man, and so you have to... He's a filth man. You have to determine if he's saying dirty in terms of, like, crime-ridden culture, yeah. Or dirty in terms of their, they're a worst kind of brown that I'm okay with because I'm racist. Or just, you know, dirty oil or whatever.
Starting point is 01:11:13 So the Venezuela thing, it's like we're still trying to piece it together because Trump made this big announcement. That big announcement. He posted on his stupid website, which is what he does all the time. Not going to read this whole thing either, but he says it's the biggest oil deal in world history. He says, made a deal with Venezuela, the country where he deposed the... Sorry, you can't make a deal after you fucking... Kidnap their president. That's not a...
Starting point is 01:11:43 That's not the right word. And you're basically holding a gun at the leader's head saying, do what I say. You do the thing. And listen, I don't know anything about Delci Rodriguez, but she's still the same regime, correct? As Maduro? Yeah, 100%. She is the same regime. That was not a thing that happened.
Starting point is 01:12:02 But anyway, Trump says she's the highly respected interim president of Venezuela. Through a partnership with private business have secured Madrid. U.S. control of more than 65 billion barrels of proven oil reserves in Venezuela at no cost to the American taxpayer. And so you go, okay, what does that mean? And there's this Wall Street Journal article, which we're going to be looking at via screenshots because I don't have a Wall Street Journal thing. Inside Trump's plan to give the Pentagon a stake in Venezuela's oil riches. And let's see, maybe this. bigger, yeah, kind of.
Starting point is 01:12:43 So I'm going to read just a little bit of this because it's hard to wrap your mind around this is happening and this is just like allowed, not legal, but allowed. Although it was negotiated by senior officials in both governments, the structure would make the U.S. an investor in a private company rather than a direct counterparty to the Venezuelan government, the U.S. plans to take a 35% passive stake in Betancourt's North American Blue Energy
Starting point is 01:13:09 partners and with secure preferential rights to purchase 20% of its production at cost, according to people involved in negotiating the agreement. So basically, because we're extorting the country, we're going to get, like, first dibs on all the oil at cost and then access to, he makes it seem, it does say reserves in his post, but he does make it seem like we're getting 65 billion barrels of free oil, which is, even if that was like you know it would still be bad if we were extoring them for the oil that existed right now but we're not even doing that because it's like the infrastructure that they would need to rebuild there in Venezuela to get to that it's going to take like a decade so even the people he's trying to please by saying like oh those gas prices are about to go down because that's what this is all about so that he can say he's going to lower gas prices this won't exactly do that right now and also it's communism because we have like Whatever. Well, we're like, kind of, like, part, like, partially nationalizing another nation's oil.
Starting point is 01:14:16 I know. I know. Right. Okay. Yeah. But, yeah, so much of this is, is, um, don't look at the, at the Iran war. Don't look at the, the wedding. We just blew up.
Starting point is 01:14:30 Don't look at the wedding we just blew up. We're going to, uh, we got this gift. We've got all this oil and we've got this contract for a hundred years. and you're leaving out the Not you, but they are leaving out the details of how the infrastructure doesn't exist or the refining
Starting point is 01:14:48 capacity. This is, you know, in his words, however he described their oil. Dirty. The dirty is. No oil, maven. But I know there's a lot of infrastructure and different things that need to be done to make that oil
Starting point is 01:15:04 for us. Well, yeah. We need to invest in infrastructure of a different country whose president we kidnapped. Not ours, obviously, but you know. Katie, I've been meaning to tell you, I really enjoy your blog over at oilmaven.tumbler.com. Thank you so much. It's a really good tumbler.
Starting point is 01:15:23 I didn't think, you know, yeah. A real throwback. Yeah. A different time. It's a little passion project of mine that I've been dabbling with for years and years and years. 2010's memes about oil. It really suits you, I think.
Starting point is 01:15:34 You know, there are still some people hanging out over. own Tumblr. No, I, listen, no shade to my, to the Tumblr crew, which exists out there and who are enjoying it. No, still around. But I do believe you, actually. It's fine, a fine website.
Starting point is 01:15:53 Raw technique says lovely nails, Katie. Thank you. I noticed as I was brushing my teeth before the stream started that it looks just like toothpaste. Did you think you, when you were brushing your teeth, you were like, do I have toothpaste on my nails? Yep. I actually did have toothpaste on my nails.
Starting point is 01:16:08 So that's how we figured it out. Anyway, thank you. That's a very funny Katie story. Sorry. You know what? That's the joy of a live stream. You get her unfiltered. Another pivot. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:20 Away from the nails. Anyway, the nails. But, you know, more nail stuff if you want. I don't know. From Dunwell, I'll just put this up. Mr. Cody. I don't appreciate you taking shots of my geriatric uncle Sam Cedar.
Starting point is 01:16:33 You should call in and apologize. A little context for this. So in a previous episode we did, many, I don't even remember. We mentioned Tim Poole in that beautiful moment between Tim Poole and Sam where Tim Poole brought up
Starting point is 01:16:47 Thanos in a political debate and Sam appropriately was like I don't care. Just a beautiful moment preserved forever. We love it. We support it. In that episode, I think I refer to him as Tim
Starting point is 01:17:04 debating this middle-aged man and when the majority report was talking about that episode one aside Sam made in that segment was like my one issue with like with his whole thing is like middle aged
Starting point is 01:17:19 so we thought it would be funny when mentioning that moment again in a recent episode if we refer to him as the elderly Sam Cedar we thought we'd like kind of bump it up I don't know if he's seen it or like registered if they've talked about that particular episode on the show
Starting point is 01:17:38 but that is my explanation for why we said that. We should get the elderly Samson. And people say a majority report some more news crossover when these things, yeah. They're cool. Ask them. Ask them. Well, we've like miscommunications stuff and we've back and forth and it'll happen again. Follow up.
Starting point is 01:18:00 They like us, I think. They like us and they want to have Matt on. I'll be Starstruck. Yeah, we did. I like Matt. We can, we can, uh, I have the email right there. I can, I was Starstruck for Matt. Um, but I just wanted to explain why I said that it referenced to say him.
Starting point is 01:18:17 I don't know how to. I don't know what I'm saying. I don't understand it. But I do see that there's a lot of gifts being received and I don't know who gave the Girolo. Carol Wachtia, 1086. Triolo. Uh, let me see.
Starting point is 01:18:29 Oh, thank you. Oh, thank you. Uh, yeah. Lexil Nari. It is Triolo. Sending membership here. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:18:37 Magic dance. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you. Trump loves musicals he does. Oh, thank you so much, everybody. Oh my gosh, it's so hard to keep up. I'm trying to read,
Starting point is 01:18:48 but nobody reads anymore. Surely we can't. Oh, there's a pneumonic home. The mnemonic. So it's going to read, the mnemonic. I'll put this up. Thank you for $10.
Starting point is 01:18:59 Rob, F.M.D.T.O., the mnemonic for the Great Lakes has always been homes. on Ontario, Michigan, Erie Superior. If we're being forced to rename it to Lake America, I think the new one should be shame. Excellent idea. I'll take that. Yep. We can end on, I don't know,
Starting point is 01:19:14 Mr. Beast, Elon, you've got a lot of thoughts about that. You've got a lot of thoughts about... Wait, what were you rubbing your hands at, Jonathan? Well, we've got this Elon Musk, Billy Eilish thing we could do. Oh, I haven't dug into that at all. Okay, so if you want to hear about Mr. Beast's book, you've got to come to the Patreon stream because we're going to do... Yeah, we'll plug.
Starting point is 01:19:33 that again right now. Elon and Billy Ilish. While we have a second. The Secretary of Transportation talking about Sidney's body in front of his wife. We'll get to that. Hate that. Mr. Beasts's book
Starting point is 01:19:44 that he wrote that people want to buy and read. And what else? What else? We talk about Sean Duff. Days of Thunder. I have a thing about Days of Thunder too.
Starting point is 01:19:59 You've got like a tight 10 on Days of Thunder. A tight three involving Randy Quay. I got prepared for. any of this. You don't know. That's what it's for. It's going to be a lot of quick reaction. The show is four.
Starting point is 01:20:08 You do not need to prepare. The point is we're going to do one more thing now. And then we're going to. Zero company real quick. Sorry, go ahead. We're going to take a quick break. But really, the break is going to be us starting the new stream over at the Patreon or YouTube membership people.
Starting point is 01:20:26 Correct. We'll also have access to this more intimate stream. Ooh. Where we'll talk about all those things. But right now we're going to talk about this while you're still here. All right. So Billy Elish, the pop singer, has a fragrance. Just promoting it on XThe Everything app.
Starting point is 01:20:44 We're not going to watch the video. Behind the scenes of Eilish Intense, Billy's newest fragrance, available now on Billy Eilish.com. Great. There you go. But of course. Is what it is. Am I going to be so mad about this?
Starting point is 01:20:57 Yeah, I think so. Elon Musk goes at. I'm gonna we gotta make these these these big these one at a time so don't look down there Elon Musk goes at Grock please roast Elish's hypocrisy on hating on capitalism and stolen land while selling perfume and living in luxury on that same land the video the clip about the fragrance has nothing to do with stolen land or any of that that's just him he's mad he's got an amalgam of everybody he hates and he always turns into one person and he just says what oh I heard I heard a three followers account say this and that's what you are like, he's so, so, ah, but, I'm already mad. Grock does
Starting point is 01:21:37 the bidding, right? Computer make. Grock listens to its creator and Grock says, Billy critiques capitalism and stolen land while launching Eilish intense perfume and living in multi-million dollar L.A. properties on that same land. The system she
Starting point is 01:21:53 faults funds the luxury. The territory stays hers. Clear inconsistency. Sorry, I love. To win. Like, GROC, roast this woman for this reason and this reason. And Grock's like, well, the reason you said and this other reason you said. Yeah. Like, it didn't even do the thing.
Starting point is 01:22:11 Outstanding technology. For Grock to straight up not understand what Elon Musk means by roast, he says all the time, Grock could do, that's the reason I invented it. He told Joe Rogan to his face, go to a party and have Grock roast your friends for you. We can play the, I've got that. he says you can have all of your friends will love it if you talk to your phone and tell your phone to insult your friends so he said roast but grok just was like explain the thing so grok did right let's go back let's go back to my screen nick and then uh we'll scroll down and so Elon replies this is far too short and boring be at least a little vulgar longer and wittier Why does it have to be?
Starting point is 01:22:57 Longer. I'm sorry. Okay. Okay. Oh, Elon. So what is, what is the problem? We will get to his response. I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 01:23:07 His response. No, don't be. The rope, the stupid fucking response. There. It. He's so fucking stupid. So, okay, it's far too short. You can actually, it's fine.
Starting point is 01:23:18 And boring, whatever. It is boring. You're correct. It's just repeated what you said. So maybe you're boring. Beale's a little vulgar. Whatever. Why doesn't you be vulgar?
Starting point is 01:23:25 this woman, whatever. So make it wittier and longer. I feel like there's like a phrase specifically about wit and the length of something. And the limit. The limit. Right.
Starting point is 01:23:46 And how less of one is more of another and how you don't necessarily need something to be longer in order for it to be wittier. I can't believe he's. It's so funny. Cody, that's the exact same thought I had. And it's so funny. It's so funny that you'd think he did it on purpose.
Starting point is 01:24:02 You think he did it on purpose? But he didn't. He definitely didn't. So anyway. This is witty enough. Make it longer. So he's like, Gork, you have to do better at this. And so Gork is like, all right, man.
Starting point is 01:24:16 And so now it goes, Billy Elish lectures on capitalism and stolen land from her $14 million dollar L.A. Palace on Tongva Ground while hawking, $88. Ilish intense so fans can wreak of her contradiction. The system she trashes funds the mansions, horses, and perfume empire. If it's stolen, stop squatting and hand over the keys instead of cashing checks and spraying oh de bullshit. Peak intense hypocrisy. To which, I mean, that was longer. I was longer. So we nailed it. Great job to work on being longer. not really vulgar at all. Bad job. Okay, go ahead.
Starting point is 01:24:58 To which Elon replies, that's a little better. What? No, it's not. But of course, it's Elon of the thing. I think it's more like a roast comment. It's long, yeah, it's a little more. It's more like a roast one. It's not.
Starting point is 01:25:14 It's not funny. It's not clever. It's certainly not interesting. It's more like a roast. It's a bad version of the original thing he wanted. Yeah. that Gork did a bad job at originally. So, all right.
Starting point is 01:25:27 But of course, since Elon's here, all these people start replying. And then, like, Svetlana says, Gork, Grock,
Starting point is 01:25:35 tell her off with swear words, but do it beautifully, readably, and in a structured way. So Grock does that. And then someone else says, activate the Cat Williams Chud Lord mode and roast,
Starting point is 01:25:46 center's still a little pink. And then Grock does that. And then Grock, someone says, roast her sarcastically, which is like all that they think humorate. Oh, I'm so sarcastic. So it's just Grock is being prompted over. And so this is why people don't want data centers in their backyard. Because it's being used to fuel Grock writing the same three sentences in slightly different variants to be like the way that, oh man, I'd hate to be Billy Eilish at a
Starting point is 01:26:16 party right now. It's like magic. It's so my gosh. It's, it's, it's, it's, Except all you're doing is... I want to leave my body. This is so embarrassing. It is, it is embarrassing. It was embarrassing when he told Joe Rogan to do it at parties and, like, bring your phone and they'll roast you, and then you say vulgar and then it'll do it again. But like, this is worse. What was his Joe Rogan's reaction to that?
Starting point is 01:26:43 We can want. I don't think he was into it. I don't think we need to watch. It's fine. It's just, what a friend. That's the kind of friend you want. That's the kind of person you want. you want at a party
Starting point is 01:26:54 someone that's like hey grok roast Cody for me that's what gorks are for meaner gork you're meaner like what is just we've talked about this to death but like he's such a fucking loser
Starting point is 01:27:10 and like he's just he knows who and what he is and he has to outsource any social interaction anything anything that humans do he's like well I can outsource this to my robot that I made. And it's obviously he outsources him playing video games, which is weird. Just play them. The joy is from playing. Not from being good at them. The joy is from playing.
Starting point is 01:27:34 But he pays people to play them for him. He pays people. He pays a robot. He pays people to make a robot so that the robot can like joke around with his friends for him. Yeah. What do you what do you say to that? What are we supposed to do with that? I can't like, I can't be, I can't. My skin is, ah. Gunk, right to Jeffrey Epstein and find a cool way to ask him when the wildest parties are on his island. Make sure it's on Christmas morning, my least favorite morning of the year.
Starting point is 01:28:10 It's super, super fun to make fun of him. And then chilling when you remember who he is and how much power he has and what he can do. But we're all happier than him. Meanwhile. But we are all happier. You know what, Jonathan, I think that's a really good way to sum this up
Starting point is 01:28:29 and transition this live stream. And I'm not even trying to presume because things suck. It's not a joke. But you have to assume. But we are happier. We're definitely happier than that guy. I genuinely think that.
Starting point is 01:28:43 All right. Well, I think we've done it for this version of the live stream. this portion. Thank you so much everybody for watching. Anybody we missed the chat, it's hard to keep up but thank you so much. Rob, you're right about Elila. Rob, you're right about Elon again.
Starting point is 01:29:00 He sucks. Everybody's right. Just trying to catch up. Should I? No, I shouldn't talk about it. I was just going to say that we're thinking of... Don't say it. No, I won't. Maybe. I don't know what you're talking about. I have no idea what you're going to say.
Starting point is 01:29:15 It's Mondays. Oh, we don't need to talk about. about the lanes we haven't executed down yet or are going to do it? I was just going to gauge interest. It's too late now. Too late now I've talked about it. We're going to pool our resources together
Starting point is 01:29:30 and get a robot so that it can kind of just do this for us. Yeah. That's what I was saying. Well, it worked so well for Dave Rubin. I figure we could just do this. Does he still have that AI thing on his website? I don't.
Starting point is 01:29:45 No. Get him to say whatever you want. Because there's a website for that already. It's called Cameo. I don't know his deal. It's fine. We never have to talk about him again. But Katie, to your point, about Jonathan's point, you're right about Jonathan being right.
Starting point is 01:30:03 We are happier. And that's a great note to end on for this live stream that I've definitely derailed. I apologize. All right. We love you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:30:14 You guys, Mitch. Sippy goat. Mr. Coney!
