Somewhere in the Skies - 5 Chilling Men in Black Encounters | Stories from UFO Reddit
Episode Date: September 18, 2026The Men in Black have haunted UFO lore for more than 70 years. Mysterious visitors. Black suits and black cars. Threatening phone calls. Surveillance. Strange questions. And an unsettling warning: sto...p talking about what you saw. We explore five chilling first-person accounts involving alleged encounters with the infamous Men in Black, and, in one case, a mysterious Woman in Black. A UFO sighting at Joshua Tree is followed by two eerie men claiming to represent the U.S. Air Force. A military air traffic controller tracks a mysterious object over Afghanistan before two pale men arrive and insist it was only a glitch. After a massive UFO sighting near San Diego, a couple receives bizarre phone calls before supposed "FBI agents" appear at their home. A military veteran encounters two suspicious "roofers" after publicly discussing his UFO experiences. And a longtime investigator is visited by a mysterious woman carrying photographs of his encounter that he never took. Reports of flying saucers are nothing new.
From the beginning of recorded time, men have been seen unexplainable things in the sky.
And there's no reason to doubt they saw something.
The question is, was what they saw really there?
And what was it they really saw?
There's nothing to have.
There's nothing to hide at all.
And one girl.
And one girl.
And one girl.
What's up, guys?
Welcome to somewhere of the sky's life.
I am one of your mysterious hosts tonight, Ryan Sprague, and with me, as always, is
Suzanne Landers. You didn't know it was me, did you?
Could you tell it was us, guys?
Well, you're going to forget by the end of tonight's show.
That's for damn sure.
Can you see anything? I can't see anything.
I can't see a damn thing.
Okay.
Let's take it.
Okay.
All right.
You guys, you get the schick, right?
Yeah, yeah.
We're doing men in black today.
It's another volume, Suzanne?
Yeah, and damn too.
He's wearing his rainbow.
Oh, he's got his two.
Dude, these are from the biologist.
The biologist got these for me.
Oh, my gosh.
These sweet ray bands.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So we're with you, Jay Allen.
We're with you, buddy.
Yes, this is another episode of stories from UFO Reddit.
And we're covering the men in black tonight,
not in the Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones way,
but we're actually going to cover what people claim to have been encounters
with the real men in black that we found on Reddit.
Can you believe that?
Exactly.
And you know what happened to me?
So Ryan researches these.
This is one thing I sort of stay out of, and he just sends them to me.
And so then I sit down in a quiet moment with coffee or whatever where I'm not going to be bothered.
You guys, these five stories today chills.
Yeah.
They're creepy.
Would you think that, I think our last stories from UFO Reddit was stories of the grays?
I'm finding the men in black stories much creepier.
Me too. Me too.
What is up with that? That's crazy.
You know what? It feels wildly orchestrated.
Yes.
It's intentional.
It's different from what's happening when someone has a chance encounter to me.
It's calculated.
Yeah. And, you know, we'll get into it in a little bit.
You know, because I had a comic book creator on the show who created a comic book called
Saucer State and Saucer Country.
And his whole thing in there was that it was literally, Suzanne,
what the, those articles that came out about like the Air Force pranked and faked UFOs and stuff.
Right.
In his comic book, it was Air Force officers.
And their kind of initiation was to go out and pretend to be men in black and silence people who saw a stealth aircraft.
So it's an interesting mythology.
And I'm going to dig a little bit into the mythology, the history of the men and black,
before we actually get into these alleged two stories of encounters with them.
But I thought we'd start with a little debrief on our free virtual conference we did this past weekend.
Anomicon.
Were you guys there?
Let us know in the chat.
My God, this Anomicon was the biggest yet.
the numbers were huge, the turnout, the feedback, the speakers.
Everything was just like, like everyone brought it.
I cannot thank our speakers enough and for the incredible people that watch.
Nobody short-cutted.
Nobody took a shortcut.
Everybody knocked it out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, and I really tried to curate it this year to be like, all right, let's not have all
UFOs in one section, all ghosts in one section. I really wanted to try to, like, zoom out and see
what connections I could make as the presentations were coming in. And I was finding it fascinating
that even some of the speakers, whether it was a cryptid researcher or like a paranormal researcher,
they were coming to the same conclusions. And the research and discoveries were like overlapping.
It was crazy. I loved it all. I just thought it went together.
really well and I also very importantly loved our audience people watching at the time so
incredibly bright and thoughtful so incredibly kind and funny yes I think that I know it's not
unique to our group but it is far and above what I see in other podcast arenas I just think
we have the most special people I do too I do too I think our you know and some of these people have
been with somewhere in the skies in the very beginning. And it just, again, it blows me away that
10 years later, people are still listening to me ramble on about stuff that nobody knows
what's going on with UFOs. I don't pretend to know what the hell UFOs are or aren't. But it's a thing.
So here we are. Yeah. Yeah, I'm just so thankful that so many people turned up. And I'm so thankful that
Like we had some big channels out there, you know, you got your vetted and your Secoactiveo, Pavel,
Andy over at that UFO.
They all shared a nomicon, Vinny from Disclosure Team, Dan Zetterstrom.
Like everyone, everyone was sharing it left and right.
And that meant the world to me because, you know, like there's big shows out there,
big YouTube channels covering these topics and they get millions of views.
And we're never going to be there.
We're not that kind of show.
We're a scrappy independent show.
I love it that way.
And I think that really brings in authenticity to the things we do here.
We're not funded by some, you know, big tech companies.
Yeah.
So, you know, we depend on our audience and our supporters.
And you guys showed up for Anamacon.
So thank you, thank you.
Thank you so much for that.
It is in the archives.
You guys can watch all 11 hours of a nomicon whenever you want.
And we're also,
and I'm sure you saw we're releasing each talk individually.
We've released two already.
But if you want to watch the whole thing or in Bitten Parcel, it's right here on the channel.
You can watch it any time.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Sorry. Of course, now I need a cough.
Oh, gosh, don't be sorry.
It's that time of the year.
Can I do a shout out to a buddy?
Oh, my gosh, please.
This is one of my college buddies.
His name is not really Cletus, but this is his non.
to plume and he does the most amazing music channels on YouTube, on Spotify, wherever you are.
So find Cousin Cletus and listen to his various, I mean, every mood, every mood you can imagine.
Cousin Cleadis has a playlist.
Amazing.
And thanks for being here.
Thanks for being here, Cousin Cletus.
And please, yeah, shoot some links in the chat if you want, Cleotis.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
get some subscriptions over there.
I love a good playlist, trust me.
I know you do.
You're going to love his stuff.
Whatever moods you're in, cousin Cletus has you.
Awesome.
Well, cousin Cletus, welcome to the club.
You will forget everything you hear tonight, Cousin Cletus.
You too, Jamie.
You too, Julio.
Exactly.
Jay Allen, I see you, buddy.
I see you.
Other news.
Yes.
I just got this book in the mail.
Close encounters of the.
police kind by inspector
Roy Tick. He is a currently
serving police officer in
England and he was
so kind to send me this book.
He signed it and everything
and I ate
this up today. I went to see a movie
this morning but I, you know, I go to
see movies really early here. I go at like
10, 11 in the morning.
It's me and all the
senior citizens which is great.
But, you know,
I'll get up early.
We're not on wrapping their candy.
you're throwing off. Oh my God. They're not on their phones.
They're not on. It's the best. It's the best. I saw the movie. I'm going to read that because I love things around military personnel, you know, police personnel, paranormal stuff that happens to like paramedics and doctors and nurses. I love all that. And it brings to it, I think, a little more gravitas, you know, because these are trained observers. This is not their gig.
normal, the UFO, the whatever, and then they have these experiences.
Right. Right. And, you know, like a lot of the times, if you have a UFO setting, who are you going to report it to?
Right.
So I'm so interested to ask him, you know, like, have there ever been people reporting UFOs at your department?
Like, have you ever seen one? Have you ever, like, what is the protocol? You know, I know in the states right now, they're trying to come up with a cohesive manual.
Across the nation.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I'm wondering if they're doing that in Britain too.
But this entire book is all accounts from police officers in the UK.
I would be more too.
Oh, man.
So he's going to be on the show.
Roy, I'm going to be interviewing him on Friday.
So if you guys have any questions for Roy Teague, please send them my way.
Email is in the show notes.
You know, if the questions can just be general.
I know a lot of you probably haven't read the book yet.
but you can get it on Kindle right now, so you can go read it.
And yeah, if you're on Patreon, you get priority to ask Roy your questions.
So you'll go right to the top.
So you can join Patreon to do that.
But yeah, anyone can send me questions.
I'll be interviewing him on Friday.
And then on Monday, I'll be interviewing the one and only Richard Dolan once again.
And we'll be talking about his USOs volume two.
So I'm really excited for that.
Yeah.
You know, I'm a U.S.O. junkie.
We don't get a lot of it, but I love him.
Suzanne's like, give me those U.S.Os.
I need my U.S.O's kick.
Oh, my God.
That's gone down to chocolate hole.
What are you all that?
I've missed something.
Who has chocolate and where?
What's going on?
Share the wealth, guys.
I want some chocolate.
I want some chocolate.
Oh, here's hides.
High hides and long.
Hello, Heights.
Good to see you, my friend.
And Sink is here.
I love it.
I love it. I'm drinking this tonight. It's called Bishop's Finger. It's a strong L from Kent in England. So that's my chocolate for tonight. You got anything? Oh, it's very pitiful here. I have it in a cool cup, but it's just very thin ice tea, mostly water.
Being healthy. Yeah, you know. Responsible. I know. I love it. I love it. Well, hey, anything else before we dive in?
No, but if anybody wants links to Anamacan and the individual people who spoke where they're rolling out, as Ryan said, you know, every other day or every day.
So keep an eye on those and catch up on that because it was magnificent.
You speak.
Yeah.
Great.
Pretty much every day I got one releasing.
So you can wake up with their coffee and watch the Anamicon presentations for sure, for sure.
Perfect.
So we got five stories for you guys tonight that we dug deep.
to the bowels of Reddit to find for you.
And I, you know, I just had a whim.
I'm like, I wonder if anyone's actually, like,
reported encounters with Men and Black.
And good Lord.
Good Lord. There is a lot.
Yeah.
A lot. Which, uh, kind of...
Multi-chapter Reddit reading.
It really could.
Yeah. Yeah.
So, you know, we'll try to barrel through these quick so we don't keep you guys all night.
But I do want to give kind of a little primer to the men in black.
Obviously, we know the Will Smith movie.
We know the Will Smith movie.
the idea, the concept that someone sees a UFO, the men in black show up and say,
you're not going to talk about that.
You saw Venus.
You saw this.
Or, you know.
Or forget what you saw.
You didn't see it.
Yeah.
You didn't see anything.
So here's a little refresher course for you, newbies out there when it comes to the men in black.
So the mythology of the men and black goes all the way back to the earliest days of the modern UFO era.
In 1947, Harold Dahl claimed that after witnessing strange objects near Mori Island in Washington,
he was visited by a mysterious man in a dark suit who warned him to keep quiet.
But the legend really took shape in 1953.
When UFO researcher, Albert K. Bender suddenly shut down his UFO organization
after claiming that three strange men dressed in black had warned him to stop in
investigating flying saucers.
Writer, Gray Barker, later popularized the story of this 1956 book.
In his book, they knew too much about flying saucers, helping to create an enduring
part of the UFO lore.
See something you're not supposed to see, and someone may come looking for you.
So over the year, Suzanne, the men in black became something even stranger.
Stories began describing pale, almost robotic men driving black cars.
driving black cars, speaking strangely, knowing things that they shouldn't know, and sometimes not
seeming entirely human. John Keel helped bring in these stories into the paranormal lore,
while books, television, and eventually the men in black movies turned to them into a pop culture icon.
But behind all of that are people who insist these encounters actually happen.
So today we're looking at five modern stories shared on Reddit involving UFO sightings, surveillance, threatening phone calls, mysterious visitors, and men who seem to know far more than they should have.
Yes.
Too bad we can't see in our sunglasses because that would have great dramatic effect.
Right. I know. I know.
And, you know, I'd be remiss if I did say there are women in black too.
One of our stories does involve a woman in black.
And Nick Redfern, the prolific author, actually wrote an entire book about the women in black.
So check that out, guys, if you haven't read that for sure.
That's cool.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Am I missing anything in the chat?
Not yet, but the sour kitty, Dailan's Kitty, whose name is really Miss Holly, the kitty is.
Not Dalyan.
Sour Kitty is about to be 21 years old.
We're about to have a little.
Whoa.
I know.
Well, happy early birthday to the kitty.
I love that.
I love that.
I hope the kitty likes men in black.
Yeah.
Hey, Tharcy.
Hello, Thursey.
Good to see you.
Oh, I should mention,
Anomicon was incredible.
You guys did so much, so I'm not going to beg yet.
But the super chat and super stickers are open if you would like to help the show tonight.
Every penny of what you donate.
goes back to helping us do stuff like what we're doing today.
It's free for you to watch.
It's not free for us to create.
So any support, super chat, super stickers, buy me a coffee.
PayPal is greatly appreciated.
Links are in the show notes for PayPal and buy me a coffee or super chat and super stickers
will be open.
If you can't help us those ways, just like the video, share it.
Let's get some more people to acknowledge the men in black.
And yeah, we'll get things going here, Suzanne.
You want me to kick things off or you want me to?
It's up to you.
All right.
Here we go, guys.
This one's called I saw UFOs at Joshua Tree.
Then they found me.
And it's from The Truth is Here.
Username is Midnight Sacks.
Okay.
My men in black encounter happened in 2004,
and it is something that I'll never forget.
Prior to the incident,
I went on a camping trip to Joshua Tree National Park with a few friends.
On our last night there,
we were looking at the stars while in front of the campfire.
That's when I witnessed a couple of glowing blue orbs in the night sky,
which is interesting because you don't hear about blue orbs very often.
They're normally orange or red or white.
In the night sky going at amazing speeds.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing,
and my friends were equally amazed and mystified.
I tried to take a photo with my flip phone,
but the UFOs moved too fast for me to get a clear image of them.
On our drive back home, we talked more about what we saw and were really excited about it.
Not long after, I noticed a black car following me from a distance.
I switched lanes to make sure the black car was in fact following me, and sure enough,
whenever I, wherever I went, the car followed.
Then I glanced at my rearview mirror again, and the car suddenly disappeared without a trace,
which was very unsettling.
The next day, after running a few errands, I started driving home, and when I arrived at my house,
I saw a black Cadillac parked in my driveway.
I tried to convince myself that it wasn't the same black car following me a day ago, but my gut feeling told me otherwise.
When I got out of my car, two men in matching black suits, light gray dress shirts, black ties, and black fedoras,
approached me and ask if they could ask me a few questions about what I witnessed.
I know.
I don't know what I'd do right there.
I asked them who they were and to see some credentials, smart.
They claimed they worked for a division of the U.S. Air Force.
Their appearance look like what I can only describe as plastic,
which is a common descriptor.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
About men and women in black.
And they were expressionless.
And they both had a pale olive skin tone.
They spoke in a rhaps.
moscy, monotone voice, and their speech was very precise, sounding almost synthetic. They also had a very
cold and intense gaze. Some of the questions that they asked were these. Can you describe what you
saw that night? What do you think you saw? Did you take any photographs of what you witnessed?
Were there others who might have had recording devices or cameras? Do you know if anyone
recorded the incident? Have you spoken with anyone about this?
incident who anyone else who wasn't present with you that night? Did you find any unusual debris at the
location you were at that night? Would you be withholding any important information from us?
Of course, I didn't answer most of their questions and honestly I did withhold a lot of information
as to what I saw and who I was with. Of course, they ended up their questioning by strongly
advising me to refrain from talking about what I witnessed with anyone and to forget that the
incident ever happened. They also strongly implied that they would be keeping an eye on me in case I
decided to ignore their demands. After the encounter, I had the constant ominous feeling for a while
and always looked over my shoulder wherever I went. I don't know who these men were or how they
had knowledge of what I saw that night, but I believe that they were the men in black.
Since that encounter, I have been really hesitant and careful about who I share my experience with,
but I finally decided to share it here.
The years following that incident, I've only had a couple of UFO sightings at night on separate occasions,
but I haven't had any more visits from odd men dressed in black.
Not yet, anyway.
Hopefully, that's the last time.
How do you know who's seeing what?
Yeah, especially out in Joshua,
a tree. I mean, for anyone who's been out there, that is a vast,
doesn't. Huge. Huge. Yeah. Like, how would
they even know that these people were, I mean, maybe
because they were out there and had a fire and were camping and all that
sort of, but I don't know. I don't know. And to just like,
to just like come up and start like the fifth degree with these people,
like, did you take photographs? What did you see? Did you tell anyone? Oh, man.
I don't know.
The psychological end of that is interesting to me too because as a lawyer, if I start cold questions to someone who's on the hot seat, you don't get anywhere.
You know, because people shut down.
You have to give them time to warm up and you have to show them that you're safe to talk to.
And none of that is happening.
Either they don't care or they just want to make the impression of power or whatever, knowledge.
Right.
You know, so I find that fascinating too.
Yeah, I get what you're saying there.
It's like you can't, you got to like get on their side so, you know, that they, you can trust them.
They can trust you.
I wouldn't trust these guys with a 10-foot pole.
Are you kidding me?
Of course not.
Rolling up in the middle of the desert in a black Cadillac?
Like, who does that?
Come on.
Yeah.
And I think this reader, this writer did the right thing.
Just say as little as possible.
Get yourself out of the situation.
Yeah.
Move on with caution.
Exactly.
Exactly. Okay, 2004. I just wanted to double check the year. So that wasn't that long ago, like 20 years or so. Like, that's pretty crazy. And the way they described them, synthetic, pale, it's just like we had mentioned at the top with the men in black lore. It's like they're almost non-human in a way.
Exactly. Some kind of robotic, something or other, I don't know.
Yeah, yeah. Well, hey, if you have a lot of.
as I could have seen anywhere. It's definitely out in Joshua Tree, and it doesn't surprise me that the men in black showed up. I wonder if all our friends that contact in the desert have ever had experiences out there with men in black. I will tell you this. Every UFO conference I've been to, you know, there will be people who kind of cosplay as men in black or whatever, but there are some people, Suzanne, I swear, who just sit in the back at these conferences. And they're almost too well.
dressed and two, what's the word, like inconspicuous, I guess, I don't know, like that it just,
it sends off all my radars that like something, something's going on here. Are they keeping an
eye on people? I don't know. You know, when you and I were reporting for a while on the missing
people from Los Alamos, White Sands, all of those people. Of course, it's still a mystery. I'm still
following with no answers. But a friend of mine reached out with concern. She was like, you and Ryan
just really need to be careful. You know, you're doing a lot of digging around. The average podcast
might not be doing, blah, blah, blah. And I said, oh, Fran, you know, don't worry. Ryan and I
don't have access to things that might get us in trouble or that they might care about. But then you
read these, right? Yeah. Read these stories. Like, I don't know. Maybe I didn't, maybe I shouldn't
just like dismiss it. I don't know.
Who knows? I'm sure you and I are on some list somewhere. Yeah. That's funny. My dad actually,
whenever I go home and go to the bar with him, he's always like, do you think like people are like keeping an eye on you?
I'm like, I am the least of their worries. Trust me. But that doesn't mean they're not.
Who knows? Like, I mean, you know, I say what you will about like Lou Elizondo, like the hot button controversial character that he is nowadays.
He said something to me really early on when he first started doing the interview rounds.
I was actually one of the first podcasts outside of like mainstream media to interview Lou Elizando.
Met up with him twice now in London and then in Scotland.
But he said something to me one day that really gave me the creeps.
He's like, just so you know, like you want to know where the government's getting their UFO information.
I'm like, where, where?
and he pointed at me.
Oh.
And he said, you guys.
They're listening to this stuff too.
Maybe he was just trying to scare me.
I don't know.
Who knows?
Crazy stuff.
I mean, I just remember the first time I met him, you know, we walked around London,
and we stopped in front of the Ministry of Defense building.
And he's like, okay, I got to go.
I have a meeting.
And I kind of laughed, like, how very funny.
And he shook my hand.
And I went my mind.
and I went my way and I look back and the guy walked right into the Ministry of Defense
Building.
The guards in front, they just parted and let Elizondo right in there.
No questions asked.
And I'm like, what, wow.
What a power move.
What a power move is right.
We'd still be standing at that door trying to get in.
Yeah, right.
Me do podcasts about UFOs.
We want to go in.
You want to see what you got.
What do you got?
Yeah, yeah.
So that was a good story to start with, kind of your prototypical desert UFO men in black.
What do we got here, Gandalf?
Hey, Gandalf.
We hadn't seen you in a minute.
Nice to see you today.
Good to see you, my friend.
Jonathan Wegan had men and black visit his mother looking for him.
That would not be cool.
That would not be cool.
Not, not cool.
It reminds me, was that the gentleman that was on the Nimitz or the Princeton?
I'm not sure.
us Gandalf, remind us.
Yeah, Gandalf, if I'm mistaking him for somebody else, there's someone else that was on the,
you know, during the TikTok events and they were the ones that the men in black came on the ship
and took all the radar data or whatever it was.
Kevin Day was one of those.
Yeah, he was involved or something with that.
Yeah, yeah.
They had come on board.
The Peru crash.
Oh, yes.
That is an interesting story.
We've never covered that.
I'll have to dig that up.
There's a good YouTube video where Weingart, Wingent, he gives an entire testimony to, I think, the disclosure project.
Yes.
Jay Allen, I couldn't agree more on these black eyed kids.
And I have a feeling they are non-human intelligence.
Something is up with that.
People can go home as paranormal, which I understand, but there is something bigger going on with these.
This would be a great Reddit tale one day.
Absolutely.
Black-eyed kids.
Well, a little trivia for you guys.
The Black-Eyed Kids, in the first 10 episodes or so of Somewhere in the Skies, I interviewed
the first ever witness of the Black-Eyed Kids, the first person to ever come forward
and to report the Black-Eyed Kids.
And that it went viral, and that's where the whole Black-Eyed Kids lore was birthed from this gentleman
that I interviewed.
I didn't know that.
That's one of those subjects that I cannot let myself listen to at night.
It's just, nope, it's got to be in the bright daylight.
I need a lot of time between when I listen and when I have to put my head on a pillow.
Nope.
Yep.
Not for me.
Yeah, I had nightmares after that interview.
I don't.
His name is escaping me.
I really hope he's not watching this because he did say that he listened to the podcast.
And I was the first podcast he ever went on to talk about it.
So, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
A little note right here.
Noted.
All right.
While you're doing that, I'm going to move to a story to tonight.
And that is, let me get it up on screen here.
The Men Who Came After the Afghanistan Radar Incident.
Whoa.
All right.
So this comes from the subreddit UFOB.
And the user is anonymous.
And that's pretty interesting because I got a little update on that after.
I tell the story. Okay. So here we go. I was a U.S. Army Air Traffic
Controller stationed in Afghanistan. I was working inside an N-At-Navix radar system when a radar return,
a blip suddenly appeared well above our airspace. I watched it travel over our position
and continue onward. Then its altitude began dropping rapidly. I tried repeatedly to
establish radio contact, but there was no response. Finally, something
came through. A frantic scream buried in the static. And then there was nothing. The radar return
disappeared, indicating that whatever it was had dropped below our radar coverage. It later reappeared,
which gave me enough information to send out search and rescue. I followed protocol, but there was
another problem. We couldn't determine where the aircraft had originally come from.
So the next morning, two men, dressed in black suits, were waiting beside the Atnavix.
Both were wearing sunglasses, and one of them carried a suitcase.
And the men came inside with me and the other soldier who had been present during the incident.
If you've ever seen an Atnavick setup, you know it isn't designed to accommodate that many people.
We were crammed together like sardines, probably only about a foot apart.
even though the interior was dim
neither man removed their sunglasses
being that close to them
I noticed something else that always stuck with me
their skin looked sickly pale
it's not right
it's just like the other one
oh god okay
I explained everything that had happened
and after listening one of the men told us
that they were from Raytheon
he said they had flown out
that morning
specifically to tell us that what we'd witnessed was nothing more than a glitch in our system
and that there was no reason to investigate it any further. Then he gave us an extremely stern look.
The message seemed pretty clear. We reluctantly agreed with what they were telling us and the two men left.
Afterward, I discovered that our recording equipment was broken. The other soldier told me that the
equipment had been broken the entire time, but I knew for a fact that,
wasn't true. I personally made sure that it was working beforehand. Nobody except me and the other
person who had been there during the radar incident even saw these two men. Then for the next
couple of days, other aircraft flew around the area where the mysterious craft had apparently
gone down. It wasn't until I started writing the story out years later that something suddenly
occurred to me. Where the hell did those men come from? And where the hell did they go? Raytheon?
we were the air traffic controllers stationed in an extremely remote area.
There might have been only ground, sorry, there might have been only around 10 flights in an
entire day. We would have known about them. Yet these men claimed they'd flown out that
morning appeared beside our radar system, delivered their explanation, and then disappeared.
Somehow, all of these years, actually writing the experience down, only made the whole thing
even stranger.
Sure, sure.
So crazy.
And it's like that,
which movie is this line from?
Who are you going to believe?
Me or your lying eyes?
You know?
Oh, yeah.
That's when this happens to what this is like,
you didn't see what you saw or it's,
it's a zebra and you thought it was a kitty cat.
You know,
it's like, just stop.
Humans aren't stupid.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
And again, we got the sickly pale look to these guys.
Your radar was wrong.
They never found a downed aircraft or anything.
Just scream coming through the static?
What the hell happened here?
And that they keep searching.
Military assets are used to keep searching, right?
Yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, so nothing happened, but we're going to keep looking.
Yeah.
Well, side note, several days after this was posted, it was the...
I'll ask to Bailen's comment.
One sec.
I think we all have been.
You're an M.I.B.
I knew it.
Darned sourcroat.
There is a side note to this.
Several days after this was posted on Reddit,
it was deleted by the original poster.
Dun,
dun,
done,
absolutely.
They got to him.
Somebody got to him.
Yeah.
Somebody got to him.
Yeah.
Pretty, pretty crazy.
Creepy on, everyone says.
Yeah.
Yeah, I can't wait to.
What do you guys think?
What do you guys think in the chat, though?
I'm curious, too, Suzanne, what you think?
Do you think these men in black could be, like, contractors of some sort?
I have a funny feeling it's a combination that some of it is definitely our governments or black
ops behind our governments, you know, contracted in.
But when I hear the ones that are.
synthetic voice, plastic skin.
When I hear that, then I'm thinking something, non-human intelligence or, you know,
AI-driven robotics, you know, having all.
Yeah, yeah, because like, you know, some of them seem so normal in like, yeah, maybe they were
whatever, like CIA, NSA or whatever, like coming on a ship and taking radar things and
taking them away. But then, like you said, you've got them almost acting, trying to act human.
Right. And they're not human. Yeah.
One of the black eyed kids, the experiencers of those get the impression that whatever these things are,
first of all, they're not children. And second of all, they're trying to act like children,
but they don't quite have it right. And so the clues are there. We need to come in to use your phone.
And, you know, it's two in the morning.
morning and here are these little kids out.
Is like, what?
Yeah.
Where are your parents?
Well, maybe it's, maybe the black-eyed kids are the kids of the men of black.
Maybe it's just, it's a family affair.
See everything that going.
Hashtag.
Exactly.
Well, should we move to story three?
Let's move to story three.
Yeah, let's get to it.
What's this one?
San Diego.
We're going to.
Okay.
The phone calls and the FBI.
they put in quotes. This user is intensive porpoise, like the dolphin. I'm not mispronouncing purpose.
In 2003, my girlfriend and I witnessed a massive UFO event near San Diego, close to the Mexican border.
It appeared as an incredibly powerful light, almost like sunlight. Pieces seemed to break away from it and then somehow reform.
At one point, it shot away at an impossible speed and returned.
just as quickly, which makes me think intentional display.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jets were scrambled, and we weren't the only witnesses.
Around a dozen cars had pulled over, and two police officers were watching, too.
I was ecstatic.
I couldn't believe I was finally seeing a UFO.
My girlfriend, though, was terrified.
One man nearby could barely do anything except stare and point at it.
Eventually my girlfriend insisted that we leave.
She didn't sleep that night.
Afterwards, I reported the siting to the FAA and basically anybody else I could think of, including Mufon.
Other witnesses apparently reported it as well, and it made the local news.
That's when things became much stranger.
We still had a landline, and bizarre calls started coming in.
They were filled with electronic noises, as though the caller were sitting in a small room,
surrounded by equipment.
Sometimes a robotic voice would repeat the date of our UFO sightings.
Yeah, and Dalyam, the angry sauerkraut, you're going to like this next statement.
Years later, recordings of Russian number stations, especially the buzzer,
immediately reminded me of those calls.
Daylon was in those number stations.
You can still find them out there.
Then I received a call that genuinely frightened me.
On the other end, I could hear what sounded like a recording of my girlfriend and me having a private conversation.
It sounded distant, almost as though someone had placed a telephone near a boom box playing the recording across a room.
I hung up and I never told my girlfriend because she was already scared enough.
After that, I started leaving our phone unplugged unless we needed it.
And this is interesting to me.
I think it lends credibility and truth because a human changed their pattern.
A human made a concrete left turn on something they were doing,
which just stuck with that human based on what's gone on.
While I was at work one day, two men appeared at our house.
My girlfriend described them as looking at like FBI agents.
They wanted to inspect their Jeep, but never properly.
identified themselves. She told them that they could look at it as long as they stayed outside,
then locked herself in the house. They knocked again, but she refused to answer. Strangely,
they didn't seem particularly interested in the Jeep after all. Instead, they walked across the
street to a public bus stop, waited there, got onto a city bus, and disappeared. My girlfriend
said the two men looked and behaved almost like twins. What made me, what made me. What made
her description especially strange was that she knew virtually nothing about men in black
lore. She wasn't someone immersed in UFO culture and I wasn't trying to fit what happened.
And she wasn't trying to fit what happened into an existing story.
Within only a couple of weeks, we'd witnessed a UFO, received bizarre telephone calls,
apparently heard a recording of our own private conversation, and had two strange
men show up at our home. Eventually, we mostly stopped
using the phone and we moved away. That's what's always bothered me. Why us? We were just
220-somethings with tattoos selling artwork. We weren't government employees. We didn't have classified
information and we weren't a threat to anybody. Yet after witnessing and reporting that UFO,
it felt like someone suddenly became very interested in frightening us. To this day, I still don't
know what the hell those weeks were about.
Man.
Yikes.
What a like harrowing experience for just like, I don't want to say simple,
but like just civilians seeing a UFO.
Like they pulled out all the stops.
Yeah.
And I don't get this, Ryan.
If you want people not to pay attention to it, doing this kind of thing gets you the opposite result.
Here is this person how many years later still carrying this and talking about.
about it. You know, so it's not a well thought out plan, which I think is interesting.
But, you know, well, okay, we got to touch on the whole, like, phone call recording thing.
Like, this, this gives me the creeps because I know I've told the story a million times. I'll make it so
brief. But when Jennifer Marshall and I went out to Area 51, the back gates, which I know you've
been to as well, yep, we, we were miles and miles away from the back gate. And
Our radio was off in the car.
We had a van behind us, but that was it.
And as we were heading towards the gate, our radio suddenly turned on all by itself.
And all we could hear was a voice repeating our own license plate back to us over and over and over and over.
Ben freaked out.
I freaked out.
Our good friend Tracy Austin was with us as well.
And it was just the same voice repeating our license plate back.
to us over our radio
and that was it. And
to me it was
most likely, I'm not saying
like anything super
crazy or mysterious. I think it was
base security or the camo dudes
or whatever. Um,
you know, kind of flexing or
pranking us or being like, these are our
capabilities. We know where you're coming.
We see your vehicle. We know your license
plate. Let's scare them.
Um, so that they don't do anything when they get
here sort of thing. I don't know. But it
This kind of reminded me of that where they had these capabilities to like record and play things.
I don't know.
Crazy stuff.
No kidding and frightening.
And again, why do that if they're wanting you not to take data away from your experience there, right?
Yeah.
And it is weird.
I think I told you guys after I had been to the gates, you get within like five miles of the back gates of area 51.
and it has a weird vibe.
It has a weird feel to it.
Your GPS goes totally blank.
You just get a blank screen.
Your cell phones are killed.
Everything is dead,
which makes your experience over a radio
even more unique, I think,
because the disconnect that happens to you
from those things that we take sort of security from,
I guess, that I could call 911
or I could, you know, do something.
they take that away from you
when you get out there.
So it's just so creepy.
Yeah, you're stuck out there.
It's super creepy.
I'm not going to,
there's a reason people aren't supposed to be out there.
Yeah,
exactly.
It's,
and you know,
it's cool to get the selfie and all that stuff
and say you went there,
but like I'm in no rush to go back.
I do regret,
like,
because I was with a large group,
and I was,
with a company.
I was working with the CW television network at the time.
Like, they didn't want to take any chances.
So they didn't let us get too close.
And I was so bummed, Suzanne.
Like, you probably got way closer to the gates than I ever did.
I didn't get any closer than a foot.
I didn't want to give anybody any reason for shenanigans.
But, yeah, you got way closer than I did.
That granted the weather was horrendous.
It was like the one day it decided to like a torrential downpour in the middle of the Nevada desert.
Like the fates did not want me being there and neither did the camo.
It is not your day, Ryan.
Yeah.
I was super bummed.
It was my first time at Area 51.
But I got to go to the little alien and Rachel and do all that.
Yeah.
The fine saucer burger.
It is a track.
I think like from.
Vegas, maybe it's three and a half hour drive or two and a half. I can't remember. It's pretty significant.
So the effort to get there is big. Yep. Oh my gosh. It was, and I was going on no sleep. I flew from
New York City to Nevada to film for to go to Area 51. And this was weeks before storm area 51.
So I missed that whole thing.
But yeah, I had been on flights all day. I got to Vegas. I had to drive around Vegas.
for a few hours to do filming, you know, in Vegas, in the car and all that.
And then we went, took the trip out to Area 51.
We got home at like, gosh, three in the morning.
I'm starving.
There's no food anywhere.
There's nothing.
So I did go to the strip and a lovely, topless woman came up to me and said,
are you hungry?
And I was like, yeah, is it that?
obvious. She could tell I was looking for food. And meanwhile, again, like, I'm trying with all my
might to keep my eyes on her eyes. Yes. And she was like, honey, there is a White Castle open
down the street. Oh, my God. I think I had a dozen of those mini White Burger, White Castle burgers.
Of course, they're a little bitty guys. When he's eating a little tiny thing.
Well, Area 51 is not to be played with.
And it's one of those things.
I tortured our sweet Bill Landers for years to get to go.
For years, I tortured this man to go to Area 51.
So we get inside that five-mile thing and the cell phones are cut and the GPS.
The vibe is weird.
And I say out loud, I don't know if I want to do this.
I don't know if I want to do this.
He's like, your butt's going to go into that.
If I have to drag you to that game.
We're going because I don't want to hear any more about it.
And it was fine.
We had some fun, Aussie people there.
We had a fun photo.
If we have a minute during the next story, I'll drop it in the thing.
Oh, please, yeah.
We had a little fun there.
What did Bill think of it?
He thought it was weird, too.
He thought it was weird, too.
He wasn't, when I was expressing concern and second-guessing the decision to go.
He wasn't saying he didn't get it.
It was like, we're going to be okay.
because we're just going to go look and we're going to turn around and we're going to go.
And so, like, okay.
But he found it extremely odd, too.
Strange feeling for sure.
If there's anyone I trust out there, if anything happened, it's two lawyers.
So, yeah.
Someone's eventually going to be looking for us, right?
Yes, exactly.
Exactly.
Awesome.
Should we move the story four?
On we go.
On we go.

We're breezing through these tonight.
I love it.
I love it.
All right.
This one is called Those Men Weren't Roofers.
Okay.
Okay. So this comes from the UFOs subreddit from user Last of the Finest.
And they say, UFOs have been a part of my life for decades.
My mother and I witnessed one in Georgia in 1977 and in 2009 while serving as a military
policeman at Eglin Air Force Base. Whoa, Eglin. Okay.
Now they've got our.
You got my attention.
We're watching.
I was a security policeman at Eglan Air Force Base.
I had another experience that I eventually discussed publicly.
I'd also posted videos of strange anomalies captured by my home security cameras.
Then in November of 2023, a filmmaker spent about a week interviewing my mother and me for a documentary about our UFO experiences.
Just days later, two strange men appeared at my house.
Oh, my gosh.
My fiance had dropped me off to meet my son and returned home alone.
The moment she pulled into our garage, a shiny black SUV pulled in directly behind her,
close enough that she couldn't back out.
Two extremely well-groomed men dressed in black got out, one from each side of the vehicle.
One approached her and said they wanted to climb onto our roof because they had supposedly
been a lot of storms in the area.
But there hadn't been any storms.
We'd been experiencing a drought for more.
than a month. There hadn't even been rain and the area was under a burn ban.
Which is what happens out here. When you go through long periods of rain, they do burn
bans. You're not even supposed to be using your outdoor grills. And so why would they tell someone
who knows darn well what the weather is and they're under a burn ban? This story.
Idiots.
I know. You might be better.
The men didn't properly identify themselves or name a roof.
in company or leave a business card.
This is my shock face.
My fiancé refused and they eventually left.
I arrived home only about five minutes later.
My fiancé believed they may have followed her
because their SUV appeared almost immediately after she entered the garage.
The whole approach seemed unusually calculated.
They arrived when she was alone,
positioned their SUV behind her vehicle,
and wanted permission to physically access our route.
They weren't going door to door like salesmen normally would.
After we began asking around, none of our neighbors remembered being approached by them.
As far as we could determine, they had driven into the neighborhood, gone directly to our house, and disappeared once my fiancé refused them access.
Then I checked our security system and discovered something else.
The front camera, the one that should have recorded the men and their SUV, had mysteriously stopped working.
Oh, yeah, go figure.
Yeah.
And it stopped working when they arrived.
Our cameras rarely malfunctioned.
More importantly, if we'd experienced an internet outage,
I would have expected both cameras to go down,
not simply the one positioned to capture these visitors.
I previously posted anomalous footage recorded by those same security cameras.
So having that particular camera fail during this particular encounter immediately bothered me.
Whatever it happened outside my own house, I now had no recording of it.
Wow.
My background also made the behavior raise some red flags.
I'm an OEF veteran and former military policeman, and during my service, I worked with the Army's criminal investigation division.
I looked that up, Brian.
You know what that is.
What is that?
That is part of Operation Enduring Freedom, and it was a program that happened between 2001 and 2014.
So this is a real thing.
Interesting.
Okay.
I'd seen investigators conduct surveillance before,
and something about the calculated way these men arrived
reminded me of government personnel.
The timing was especially difficult to ignore.
A filmmaker had just spent a week
interviewing my mother and me about a UFO experience.
I publicly discussed what happened to me at Eglon,
and then two clean-cut men in black arrived
in a polished black SUV
with an obviously false story. Apparently, when they knew I wasn't home. My fiance didn't describe them
as physically bizarre or non-human like a lot of the other men in black cases. So I'm not claiming they
were supernatural or anything. But I didn't believe for a second that they were roofers.
I contacted the local police afterward, although no formal report was taken because the men
technically hadn't committed a crime. Maybe they were simply aggressive salesmen.
or scammers.
But why didn't they approach any neighbors?
Why didn't they identify their company or leave information behind?
Why pulled directly behind my fiancé as she entered the garage?
Why did they apparently arrive only when I wasn't there?
And why did the camera that should have captured them happen to stop working?
The encounter didn't, yeah, the encounter didn't frighten me.
It made me angry.
Whoever those two men were, I still don't.
know exactly why they came to my house but i'm convinced of one thing they sure as hell were not
roofers wow wow i love mr bhaughness's question do they have ladders right i bet they
yeah we're roofers oh yeah okay uh where's your ladder yeah yeah and why do you want on our roof
again and why are you wearing a three-piece suit yeah like coming up here these are the dumbest
men in black I've ever seen. What in the world? I guess they're just used to letting the intimidation
itself work for them. They don't have to actually put the pieces of the con together, right?
Right. Well, I have questions. Who was the documentary filmmaker? Yes. What did this person see at
Egglin? Because that's been crazy in the news. Isn't that where Anna Paulina and Berluson and
Gates and all them went? Egglin. Egglin. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's where all those
weird UFO things were reporting.
I'd love to know that. Let me ask a rookie question.
Because I'm on Reddit, but I'm not very good at Reddit,
other than just reading, you know, just reading.
Yeah.
Like, can you reach out to one of these users on Reddit?
I'm perfectly willing to try to see if he'll tell,
here she'll tell us more.
Yeah, so I did not mention, and I should start mentioning this,
when we do these stories from UFO Reddit,
we do link to the original posts, guys.
You can find those in the video description right now if you want to go read the original posts.
And I don't just do that for that.
I do it because there are years of people commenting in the threads below.
And the poster will often respond to questions and comments.
And you do have the option to personally message people on Reddit as well.
So it is possible that some of these people might still be out there.
But, you know, like our last story, not this one,
but the one before it, that person is just ghosted, read it and disappeared and whatnot.
Yeah, someone was able to archive the post before they deleted it.
But yeah, yeah, yeah.
But yeah, I have so many questions for this person.
I do too.
I may reach out.
Okay.
You let me know.
I will.
I let you know what I get, if anything.
All right, you guys.
Story number five.
We were on our last story.
Let's do it, Susan.
The woman in black photographs.
I never took. I love the caption. And this is from CH3W84CC. Cool. I've been involved in
I don't say it's probably an acronym for something chew. Chew. I don't want to know. It's probably
something we shouldn't be saying on air. Yeah. I've been involved in paranormal and UFO investigations for more than 20 years. But my interest
and all this really began when I was 18 and I had a UFO encounter of my own.
That experience stayed with me and eventually led me into investigating the unexplained,
including becoming involved with Birmingham's UFO group here in the UK.
But one of the strangest things connected to that original sighting didn't happen until roughly 12 years later
when a man and a woman unexpectedly arrived at my home asking about what I had seen.
12 years later, right?
12 years, over a decade.
Wow.
I know. What strikes me now is how easily I let them inside.
Yeah, that's not going to work for me.
Yeah, that's not going to need to see a warrant.
These were complete strangers, yet for some reason I didn't feel threatened or even particularly
suspicious of them.
I welcomed them into my home and answered their questions as though there was nothing unusual
about the situation.
Looking back, I can only describe it by saying that they completely disarmed me.
I wasn't frightened or anxious.
I simply went along with the conversation without really stopping to question who these people were,
where they had come from, or why they were suddenly interested in something that had happened to me
12 years earlier.
Then they showed me something I still cannot explain.
Three photographs connected to my original UFO encounter.
What made them so disturbing?
was the perspective. They appeared to show the event exactly as I remembered seeing it, almost as if the
photographs had somehow been taken through my own eyes. No. What? I know. I had not taken these
photographs, and I couldn't understand how these strangers could possibly possess images,
apparently showing my experience from my own point of view. I know. I know. Yet why?
which I guess is the upside, if you're interested in the topic, to letting one of these people in the house because you're going to hear or see something you hadn't thought of before.
Yeah, Laura said vampire rules.
Yeah, they have to be invited rules.
That's good, Laura.
I agree.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Let's see.
I simply went along with the conversation without, oh, sorry, I already done that.
I lost my spot.
No worries.
How could they possibly possess images showing my own experience from my own point of view?
And yet while they were sitting there with me, even that did not seem to trigger the kind of alarm you might expect.
They also seemed incredibly interesting.
and what had happened to me in the years since the UFO encounter.
They wanted to know whether I had experienced any other paranormal phenomena afterwards.
I answered their questions, and throughout the entire interaction, I remained strangely calm.
I wish I could give a detailed description of exactly what the men and woman look like.
But that isn't what stayed with me.
What stayed with me was how completely normal it somehow felt while it was happening,
despite how bizarre the circumstances really were.
It wasn't until the man and woman had left that something seemed to change.
Suddenly I had all of these questions I should have asked while they were standing there in front of me.
Who were they?
Why had they waited 12 years to find me?
How did they know about my UFO encounter?
And most importantly, where did those photographs come from?
To this day, I don't know who came into my home or how they possessed images that
seemed to show something only I had seen.
But looking back on the experience, I've often wondered whether I encountered something very
familiar from UFO folklore, a man and woman in black.
Wow.
Isn't that strange, that feeling of, yeah, everything's fine, because we hear that sometimes
from the UFO experiencers.
Some are terrified, but some are given calm somehow.
Yeah.
And it works.
They can control the emotions in the room.
And then for those where they can't, they just knock you out.
Right.
You're out, you know.
So, so strange and creepy.
Man.
So you had mentioned at the top of the show that one of these stories literally gave you the creeps.
Was this the one?
This is the one.
This is the one.
Seeing his experience from his own eyes in photographs he didn't take.
Yes.
I just thought this is a level of oddity that I don't think I'd heard before.
I haven't either.
This poor human holding it now.
You know, what are they supposed to do with it?
Right.
Well, and, you know, you stress this several times, but 12 years?
Like, what?
Why?
Right.
Why would any of this matter 12 years later?
Exactly.
Exactly.
Who knows?
I don't get it.
I don't get it.
But what an experience.
Yeah.
Yeah, that one really struck me.
And, you know, I will look these over a little bit before we go on air, but not much.
I didn't know about the photograph thing.
That is, yeah.
Can you imagine?
I like to enjoy it, too, in the real time with you because our reaction to do it is probably gives a little clue about what you might be thinking, listeners.
Exactly.
So some of this, oof.
We're on this weird journey with you guys.
That was, yeah.
Can you imagine, like, you see something so.
like what you think is just for you.
You know, I mean, I, someone who was it?
Oh, Vince Hall at a nomicon.
He did the Experiencer Next Store talk.
Yes.
Highly, highly suggest you guys go watch that.
It was made for somewhere in this guy's listeners.
But he mentioned like, when you have a UFO encounter,
it feels so personal and just for you.
This is for me.
It's so special.
That's exactly how my most dramatic one.
Yeah.
This was designed for me.
Yeah.
I felt that way too.
And for this person, this witness,
they'd be like,
what the hell?
Someone literally looks like they took photos
from within my perspective
of the same exact event.
That's just...
So creepy.
Yeah.
So creepy.
So I have a question for you guys
in the chat. Let's say you had a UFO sighting and a man or woman or both showed up. What would you do?
Let me know in the live chat or in the comments below after where this is not live and is archived.
Let me know in the comments. What would you do if you encountered any of these men or women in black that
you heard tonight? I'd like to know. I love that question, Ryan. And I think it's a good thing to think about
Because the more a human thinks ahead for the management of a potential situation, the better you are in that situation because you've sort of practiced in your brain.
So it's probably, you know, a good exercise for everybody to think through what would happen, how they would react, you know.
Yeah.
The only problem is I guess you could prepare all you want.
But then like this person, it's like, come on in, strangers.
Yes.
Come on in.
Men and black.
Great.
Ask your questions.
Try to stay in control.
If you get this,
all planning out the window.
Right, right.
So like this.
Autograph.
Are we a selfie?
Yeah.
Hey guys.
Check me out.
Jamie.
Peddle backwards as quickly as possible.
Go on Instagram live.
Oh my gosh.
Jay Allen, funny man.
What do you say?
I'm not interested in joining the LDS church.
I know. I had Jehovah's witnesses show up to my door the other day. And I was like, oh, yeah, they're all finely dressed and they looked all pretty proper. But God, men in black. That's right. That's right. It's one of those things I practiced for in my head. I've only had to use it one time.
Yeah.
Thank you so much for ringing the bell, but I'm perfectly comfortable in my faith. Bye. I'm good. I'm good.
See Kenzo's here. Welcome, my friend. He says, I would get them drunk and pump them for info.
Yeah. Good. Good. Turn the table.
My mom. I love that.
I want you to hit record so Ryan and I can play it for everyone.
I love it.
Yeah.
I love it.
You guys are awesome.
You guys are awesome in the chat.
I did.
Me too.
So much fun.
Let's go to the poll.
I remembered for once.
Oh my God.
He remembered the poll.
I remembered the pole.
I remember the pole.
I felt slightly under my chair just then.
You what?
I felt the earth shake slightly under my chair.
Hell hath frozen over.
Ryan remembered the poll.
It has happened.
Yep.
So I asked over on YouTube, guys,
do you believe in the men in black?
And out of 22 votes here,
68% of you said yes.
9% said no.
18% said undecided.
And 5% said,
I did, but they made me forget.
So there you go.
Good Lord.
a huge majority of you believe.
That's huge. Yeah.
It just bumped up to 70%.
There you go.
Great. Yeah. Keep it in the button.
After tonight, I believe.
That's for damn sure.
You're so creepy. Yeah.
Man.
So creepy.
And I've always, you know, I've looked at the men in black
as just like a fun pop culture thing.
And we have the movies to thank for that.
And writers like John Keel in the early days of the Mothman
prophecies and, you know, even dating back
to Gray Barker and Mori Island.
Like the mythology of the men and black is so rich and it's been intrinsically linked with
the UFO topic since the very beginning since 1947, which is so interesting.
And just this idea that they could be alien, they could be interdimensional, they could be
supernatural, they could be Air Force or whatever.
That's right.
I don't know.
And then you've got like those creepy videos that people have captured of like men in black.
surveillance cameras and stuff.
Those have made the rounds and stuff.
So like it's not going away.
And I think like if they are some covert thing trying to silence UFO witnesses,
they're not doing a really good job.
Yeah, exactly.
And not only is it not going away, we might be getting better at capturing it.
Yes, exactly.
And the real question is, will they evolve with that?
Are they finding new ways to silence people?
Cut off security cam.
Cut off security cams.
Or are they, you know, discrediting UAP whistleblowers when they come forward in the mainstream media, hint, int.
Like, are these the new ways that the men in black are working their magic?
Is it through journalists at like the Wall Street Journal and who won like, what was it?
Mr. Schellenberger?
Are he speaking of Mr. Schellenberger?
Not Schellenberger.
the guys who wrote the articles that said that it was all fake in the Air Force.
Through the Wall Street, was that one?
Yeah, yeah, that guy.
He won some, like, his name.
Yeah.
Not a Nobel Prize.
That's for peace.
What did he win?
He won like a Pulitzer Award for those articles, Suzanne.
Isn't that ridiculous?
So crazy.
What a crock of shit.
Yeah.
To be real blunt.
Yeah, I'm sure.
Exactly what it is.
The authors are probably nice people.
but man, were they used as useful idiots?
Say what you want about the hardcore believers in the UFO topic.
But those, like some of the most poorly researched and poorly sourced articles I have ever read.
And to see that they won awards for that?
No.
It's just, it astounds me.
It's frustrating.
It's frustrating.
When the clear out of it blows you otherwise.
Yeah.
You know, if you're really going to focus on it, the evidence leads a different direction.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, there you go, guys.
Five stories of alleged real encounters with the men in black from Reddit.
That was so much fun.
Yep.
And a little creepy.
I'm going to have some nightmares.
That's a little creepy.
There's some time between now and when I have to go to sleep.
So we're good.
Yeah. We're good.
We're good.
Well, hey, guess what's coming up this upcoming week on somewhere in the
this guys. What is it? What is it? Witness accounts is back. Dave. Yep, we got a brand new
episode of witness accounts. I did, excuse me, I'm hiccuping. I released it early on Patreon,
Apple Premium, and YouTube members. You get the episode right now. You can go watch it or listen to it.
And it does include Vince Hall's UFO incident that he told at anomicon. He had a orb sighting
in Baghdad, Iraq during his service. And he tells that story. And this is one of the most
powerful witness accounts I've ever done. And I probably say that about all of them. But these ones
just felt deeply personal. Deeply, deeply, deeply personal. Yeah. Yeah. So I hope people will check that
out. Brand new episode of witness accounts dropping this upcoming Monday on the podcast. Again,
it's now available on all our early access programs. You can support us.

My first
ever lecture
that I gave. Oh, yay.
I was
so terrified to put that out there,
but it's out there.
Why? Yep.
Why are you terrified?
Well, you know, I didn't start my UFO lecture circuit like with two people in a room or anything.
I started it at the freaking international UFO Congress with like a thousand people watching.
Let's go to the top, Brian.
Don't piddle around on the bottom.
Oh, my God.
I was so damn nervous.
You can tell.
Oh, okay.
Now I've got to go watch that.
Well, guess who spoke right before me?
Who?
Travis Walton.
Like, try to live up to that.
Come on. Oh, gosh. Yeah. I get it.
But anyways, it's exciting, worthy stuff.
It was fun. But I would hope that I have grown as a speaker since then.
But yeah, if you guys want to get a look at where I was some like 10 years ago talking about this stuff, check it out.
But yeah, 50% off your first month over at Patreon. Patreon.com slash somewhere skies.
link is in the show notes for that is wrong.
But yeah, that's going to do it.

People seem to be loving it.
So we're going to keep doing it.
I'm really loving it too.
You know, it's fun that the live streams are great.
They take a lot of work and a lot of thought and a lot of writing and editing.
And these are just fun because they're so freaking interesting.
And yet we can just get them ready and roll almost.
on a moment's notice.
Absolutely.
So guys, if there's any topics from Reddit that you think we should cover, let us know.
If you find any interesting stories across the paranormal Reddits, UFOs, high strangeness,
let us know.
Shoot us an email.
Both of our emails are in the video description in show notes as well.
We've done the grays.
We did Met in Black.
We did just, I think UFO sightings was our first one.

But yeah, I think that's it.
Good.
All right.
I think that's it.
So I'm going to make one request, Suzanne.

Got to put the glasses back on.
Oh, oh, oh.

Somewhere in the skies.

There's nothing to hide.
There's nothing to hide at all.
Dress in black, remember that, just in case we have a face to face and make contact.
